John Lovell Horsley, (21 July 1920 — 12 January 2014), was a British actor.

Early in his career, he was Typecast often as doctors or policemen. He was prolific in television throughout The '60s and The '70s, with roles in series such as The Lotus Eaters, The Duchess of Duke Street, and Room at the Bottom (1967), with one of his best-known roles being Doc Morrissey in The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin.

Although his career began to slow down in The '80s and The '90s, he played the role of Sir Ralph Shawcross in You Rang, M'Lord? and the Bishop of Tatchester in The Box Of Delights. His final acting role was in Rebecca in 1997.

He died at the age of 93.
