    Peter Parker/Spider Man

Peter Parker/Spider Man

Peter Parker or better known as his alter ego, Spider-Man was a hero from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, his life came to an end when the Mad Titan, Thanos wiped out half of the universe, including Spider-Man or at least, that's what Peter thought. When he awoke, he found himself in a world where sword and sorcery are common.
  • Badass Cape: Peter received a blue cloak by Rem who made it for him so that he could fit in as a knight.
  • Blow You Away: After training under Puck, Peter develops the ability to use Wind Magic. He is later able to summon Wind spirits from learning under Julius.
  • Brought Down to Normal: For some unknown reason, when Peter appeared at Lugunica, he noticed that he was in his old Spider-Man suit, back before he met Tony Stark and received the version in Captain America: Civil War. When he returned to his universe, he regained the Iron-Spider suit.

  • Happily Married: Peter wed with Rem and the two had sired their first child together.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Peter uses the Infinity Gauntlet to defeat Thanos at the cost of his own life.
  • I Choose to Stay: Peter gives up the chance to remain in his old world and returns to Lugunica following the events of Avengers: Endgame.

  • Resurrection/Death Loop: Spider-Man goes through this due to being the one that received the power of Return by Death.
  • Spider-Sense: A signature ability for any Spider-Man. It turns out to be the perfect counter to Petelgeuse's Unseen Hand.
  • Thou Shall Not Kill: Peter initially maintains this stance earlier in the series but then, he sheds much of it off after seeing just how dangerous the enemies and creatures in Re:Zero are.
  • Took a Level in Badass: He's a capable crime-fighter as Spider-Man but after being transported to Lugunica, Peter then adds both swordsmanship and magic to his skillset. Peter's Spider-Sense gets a significant boost after learning magic.
  • You Fight Like a Cow: Other than his superpowers and smarts, Peter also brought his quips with him to Lugunica. People like Roswaal got the full experience of this.
Peter: All of this for a girl that never loved you.
Roswaal: I will be careful with your tongue before I will remove it from you.
Peter: Oh, is that what you're gonna do? If that's the case, then it looks like Echidna must really have you by the balls.

Tanjiro Kamado & the Venom Symbiote
Tanjiro Kamado was living happily with his family until a Demon named Muzan attacked and murdered almost his entire family, with Nezuko being the only survivor but sadly, has transformed into a Demon. It was around the same time that Tanjiro came into contact with an alien creature called Venom. Using his new powers, Tanjiro, with Venom and Nezuko head out to destroy Muzan and find a cure to turn Nezuko back into human.

General

  • Achilles' Heel: Venom realized they're vulnerable to sound after being hit by Urogi's Super-Scream.
  • Animal Motifs: Spiders are used for Tanjiro and Venom's appearance.
    • Urokodaki gives Tanjiro a special all-black kimono with a spider pattern on the back. This was inspired from him seeing Tanjiro moving through the air like a spider dancing in the rain.
    • Venom would form a Spider symbol on his chest during the Spider Family incident.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Venom is a black-colored monster but is an ally to the Demon Slayers.
  • Elemental Powers: In this case, Venom is the element used in their own Breathing Style, Venom Breathing.
    • 1st Form - Black Spike Trap: Covering the Nichirin Sword in symbiote, Venom thrusts the blade to the ground resulting in black spikes to shoot out from the ground in high velocity.
    • 2nd Form - Long Sword: The symbiote-covered blade would increase in length allowing to reach targets from longer distances. They can also bend and curve like a whip, reaching up to 20 feet in length.
    • 3rd Form - Frenzied Strike: The move involves flips and acrobatic movies where the user attacks the opponent from multiple directions. However, the user must be in constant movement and not stopped otherwise the move is broken.
    • 4th Form - Buzzsaw Shield: Both an offensive and defensive move where Venom twirls their swords at high-speeds, cutting opponents up and/or deflecting projectiles.
    • 5th Form - Double Critical: Venom fills the user's lungs with symbiote and takes over the user's breathing allowing them to focus more on fighting. This boosts the users' performance and doubles their attack power if using any of the Breathing Styles. However, this move can only lasts three minutes and by the end, the user would be in a state of shock.
  • Evil Wears Black: Averted. The Venom Oni Form is basically Tanjiro wearing a Black Spider-Man like suit underneath his Demon Slayer uniform.
  • Healing Factor: Venom is able to heal wounds instantly which is the reason why Rengoku survived.
  • Outside-Context Problem: Venom has proven to be an obstacle towards Demons as Venom not only has the strength and speed to match them but he also has a Healing Factor. Venom also developed the Venom Breathing Technique which can enhance other Breathing Techniques.

Tanjiro Kamado

  • Big Brother Instinct: His reason to become a Demon Slayer is to kill Muzan and restore Nezuko to human form. Anyone that attempts and even harms Nezuko will taste Tanjiro's blade.
  • The Determinator: Tanjiro will never let even the most excruciating pains imaginable get in his way to reach his goals. Even Venom is impressed by this trait.
  • Didn't Think This Through: Tanjiro joined a team of heroes, some of which are magic users and following the end of that team-up, he never once considered asking one of them to cure his sister's Demonization. Once he realized this, Tanjiro is left with lots and LOTS of frustrations and Venom doesn't help by chewing him up on it.
  • Foil: To Cletus Kasady. The two both have bonded with a symbiote but what makes them different, other than one being native Japanese and the other being foreign American, Tanjiro is a heroic Demon Slayer who wants to help people while Cletus is an Ax-Crazy serial killer that joins the Demons to continue killing people.

Venom

  • People Puppets: Tanjiro allows Venom permission to control his body whenever he sleeps, thinking that he could save time in travelling. Of course, Venom uses this opportunity to hunt ducks and poor Tanjiro would find feathers in his mouth.
  • Token Evil Teammate: To the Demon Slayer Corps. Granted, he's not evil but he's without a doubt vicious and merciless against his enemies.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: He develops a taste for duck and can't get enough of it.

  • Tagalong Kid: Due to being attached to her brother, Tanjiro, she got to take part in the Avengers' mission.

Issei Hyoudou/Ghost Rider

Issei was an average, albeit perverted, boy who had a fateful day when he was attacked by a Fallen Angel. On the brink of death, Issei encountered the beautiful Devil, Lady Mephisto who saved his life by turning him into her Ghost Rider.
  • Adaptational Jerkass: Issei is a lot more violent than his DxD counterpart, given the lack of mercy he gives to his enemies.
  • Adaptational Personality Change: This variant of Issei has a far more serious personality compared to his canon counterpart, with his well-known perverted nature taking a backseat.
  • Adaptational Superpower Change: In Spirit of Vengeance, Issei does not possess the Boosted Gear from canon and is replaced with the powers of the Ghost Rider.

  • Deceased Parents Are the Best: Issei's parents are killed following Raynare's attack on the Hyoudou family.
  • Loveable Sex Maniac: Downplayed. Much of it is keep in check due to Issei's duties as the Ghost Rider.
