- The Ace: Both Shirogane and Kaguya are top students at Shuchiin Academy with almost every student revering them. They are also the famous and/or infamous Spider-Man and Black Cat.
- Likes Clark Kent, Hates Superman: In the most ironic fashion, the two are romantically pursuing each other, not knowing their alter egos who they clearly dislike.

Miyuki Shirogane is a male teenager, living with his father and younger sister. At Shuchiin Academy, he is the all-capable student council president. But on the streets, he is the amazing web-slinger, Spider-Man, stopping crimes and arresting supervillains, with one of his major priorities being to apprehend the elusive Black Cat.- Nice Guy: He's a humble and kind person that he would never betray someone for his own personal gain.
- Took a Level in Jerkass: After bonding with the black symbiote, Spider-Man acts very brutal and merciless against his enemies.
- Wake Up, Go to School & Save the World: Played With. During the week, Shirogane seems to be suffering problems, having to contend with 5 supervillains all the while preparing for a major exam. Not only did he successfully captures them but he also gets top score.Shirogane: OH HELL YEAH! YES! YES! YES! YES! WHOSE ON TOP? WHOSE ON TOP? MENACE WHO? MENACE WHO? MENACE WHAT? MENACE I DON'T THINK SO! THAT'S RIGHT! ME! MIYUKI SHIROGANE! SPIDER-MAN! AKA BADDEST HERO IN JAPAN! AKA TOP STUDENT IN SHUCHI'IN ACADEMY! AKA I AM THAT BOY! I AM THAT HERO! I AM HIM! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! WOOO! LET'S GO!
- Willfully Weak: White Tiger points out that Spider-Man, for some reason, pulls back a lot of his punches, mainly towards the Black Cat. This seems to be thrown out the window after Spider-Man bonds with the black symbiote.
Kaguya Shinomiya/Black Cat

Born as the daughter to one of the most powerful families in Japan, Kaguya Shinomiya is proud, dutiful and elegant. In secret however, she goes by the persona, Black Cat, Japan's greatest thief.- Anti-Villain: Kaguya, as the Black Cat, does commit thievery but she's only doing this out of a desire to get out of her oppressive family. She admits that once she gains her freedom, she intends to discard the Black Cat identity away.
- Everyone Has Standards: Kaguya would never kill anyone to get what she wants. Although, she might drop it when a girl gets too close to Shirogane.
- Freudian Excuse: Kaguya tries to use this to justify betraying Spider-Man however, Shirogane replies that using that will not remove the responsibility on committing something wrong.
- What You Are in the Dark: Kaguya goes through this quite a bit, showing she's not an evil person.
- She rescues a little girl rather than escaping with her stolen goods.
- Despite conspiring with Hammerhead to have Spider-Man eliminated, she ultimately helps the Web-Head.
- Yandere: She won't let any other girl get close to and be intimate with Shirogane. After somehow sensing Shirogane getting kissed by White Tiger, she flips into a murderous rage.

One of Kaguya's closest friends and the Student Council's Secretary.- Secret-Keeper: Chika is aware that Kaguya is the Black Cat.
Yu Ishigami
Yu Ishigami
A member of the Student Council, as Treasurer, and a recluse, gamer and loner.- Mission Control: He aids Shirogane from the side-lines, providing him with necessary information. He is also the one that provided Shirogane a new suit when he first discovered his secret identity.
- Secret-Keeper: Ishigami is the only one that knows that Shirogane is Spider-Man.
Ava Ayala/White Tiger
Ava Ayala/White Tiger
A transfer student that acts as the Student Council's Historian.- Arch-Enemy: Becomes this to Silver Cat and they fight each other quite brutally in contrasts to Spider-Man and Black Cat.
- Foil: To Kaguya. Both have feline-based alter egos and has feelings for Miyuki Shirogane/Spider-Man. Kaguya is calm and reserved while White Tiger is more wild and more forward.
- Secret Identity: Her civilian identity is Ava Ayala, a transfer student to Shuchiin Academy and the Student Council's Historian.
- Single Woman Seeks Good Man: She has obvious romantic feelings for Spider-Man.
Miko Iino

A second year highschool student and the Student Council's Auditor.- Hates My Secret Identity: Miko thinks little of Shirogane, believing him to be a corrupt school president. On the other side, she adores Shirogane's persona, Spider-Man.
- Hero-Worshipper: She admires heroes like her older sister, Yuri and Spider-Man. Hence, why she gets in heated arguments with Junpei.

One of Spider-Man's enemies that works as a teacher in Shuchi'in Academy.- Pride: He rather toss a student out the window than admitting he made a mistake in grading a test.
- Stern Teacher: Egomania aside, Otto does cares for his students.

The dutiful servant to Kaguya Shinomiya. She'll do anything for her mistress, including aiding in her crimes when she's the Black Cat.- Adaptational Dye-Job: Ai's hair color is actually silver but she uses a special dye to make her hair blonde.
- Bodyguard Babes: Mixed with Bodyguarding a Badass. She protects her mistress from anyone that seeks to harm her, like Spider-Man.
- Related in the Adaptation: In this fic, Ai is the daughter of Silver Sable.
Junpei Jonah Jameson

Head of the Student Newspaper Committee- Generation Xerox: He follows in his father's footsteps in slandering the web-slinger.

An infamous crime boss that wants to see Spider-Man dead.- Big Bad Wannabe: Whatever threat he might have posed ceased when not only Spider-Man defeated him and his Sinister Six but also Black Cat stole his fortune right under his nose.
- The Man Behind the Man: He organizes the Sinister Six and then, he recruits Black Cat and Silver Cat in his plans to eliminate Spider-Man.
