This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

The supernatural elements might not also have helped.

There's a difference between "banned" and "too obscure in an area to be put into theaters". The intent is important for the trope.

- Black Moon Chronicles: Haazheel Thorn is the single most evil being in this feudal Dark Fantasy Crapsack World. As an incredibly powerful Sorcerous Overlord and the leader of the Black Moon faith, which reveres him as a demigod, Haazheel, together with Greldinard, the Baron of Moork, sends his armies out on crusades of death against the Empire of Lynn, ordering his soldiers to Rape, Pillage, and Burn all in their path. To bring Wismerhill, a half-elf half-human prophesized to play a major role in the fate of the world, over to his side, he sets up the apparent death of Wismerhill's father, then blames it on the empire to incur Wismerhill's hatred for its battered monarch Emperor Haghendorf. Haazheel sends thousands of his troops to their deaths in a futile battle against the empire to fake his own death and rebuild his forces at his leisure. Haazheel turns out to be the half-demon son of Lucifer, and plans to bring about Hell on Earth while sending as many people as possible to Hell to have their souls devoured, thus ensuring himself a seat at his father's side. The army of the Black Moon, commanded by Wismerhill, totally obliterates the Empire of Lynn, sacking the capital, killing the Emperor, and forcing the faithful few who survived to ascend to another dimension. Wismerhill is made the new emperor by Haazheel, who retreats to his palace on the moon while his demons rampage around the world and his priests forcibly convert as many people as possible to the Black Moon to increase Haazheel's power, with those who refuse being torn apart by demons before having their souls devoured. After Wismerhill learns of Haazheel's manipulations and true plans he closes the Hellgate, at which point Haazheel personally teleports down to the imperial palace with his forces to punish Wismerhill for his defiance, initiating a slaughter that Greldinard walks away from in disgust. When his forces are defeated, Haazheel assumes his demonic form to kill any living thing in sight, then kills all of Wismerhill's friends one by one before battling his erstwhile student to the death. As he's dying at Wismerhill's hands, Haazheel uses his dark magic to curse the entire world by ensuring that the moon will leave its orbit and cause The End of the World as We Know It.

I have a good passage to add to the Useful Notes: Microsoft Windows page for Windows 10:
Firstly, remove the last sentence under "Microsoft Goes Metro-Windows 8". Then add this passage:
"A Return to the Basics-Windows 10:
After seeing the immense criticism that Windows 8 faced, Microsoft decided to go on a different development path with the next version of Windows, which they surprisingly named "Windows 10" skipping "Windows 9" (claiming it was to avoid compatibility issues with software for older versions of Windows like 9x). Microsoft launched the Microsoft Insider program in September 2014 to allow the public to beta test the new version of Windows as it was developed. Several betas went out to the Insider Program members who were also the first to receive the completed operating system when it released in July 2015. Windows 10 re-introduced the Start Menu which was a combination of the older style Start Menu as well as Windows 8 Style apps. It also introduced Microsoft's voice assistant Cortana to computers. Microsoft was so confident that Windows 10 would be successful that it offered free upgrades to anybody running Windows 7 or Windows 8. Sure enough it was on nearly 40 million computers by the end of 2015. Microsoft also stated that Windows 10 would be the last major new version of Windows and that incremental updates to it would release annually, similar to other operating systems."

I'm curious as to why Paper Mario: Color Splash is still locked. Did something happen on that page I'm not aware about? From what I can tell it was just a YMMV page for a game with a trailer that inspired significant cynicism and backlash, and this is the first time I've seen the entire page expunged indefinitely because of that. I mean Metal Gear Survive has a YMMV page. Was this action a rare enforcement of a rule that should be enforced far more often, or is something else going on?
The numerous incidents of people adding all sorts of controversial entries were what led to the lock. The problem with most articles and YMMV tabs of yet-to-come works is that they're susceptible to being flooded with incendiary natter and edits that, once the work is release, will eventually become moot.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300Please add the following to Monster.Video Games L To Z under the Ratchet & Clank indentation:
- Dr. Nefarious is a much darker character in the 2016 re-imagining of the first game than in the original series. Starting off as Drek's engineer, Nefarious built the Deplanetizer that allowed Drek to destroy planets and use their land masses to build his new world. After the pair destroy Novalis and five other planets, Nefarious betrays Drek and takes over his operation, intending to destroy Umbris, a volatile planet which could set off a chain reaction and destroy the entire solar system. When he hears that Ratchet and Clank are thwarting the attempt to destroy Umbris, Nefarious goes to stop them himself and ensure Umbris's destruction, despite knowing he'd die too.
His writeup was already added to Monster.Western Animation, but was never added to the video game subpage.
