    Spike
  • Arrogant Kung-Fu Guy: He's a damn good gambler. However, he knows this and can be quite a jerk about it at times.
  • Badass Family: Before Celestia adopted Spike, his father was a bomb disposal expert who died in the line of duty and his birthmother was an old friend of Dragon Lord Torch.
  • Badass in a Nice Suit: He can fight off four men without breaking a sweat... even with a quarter of a million dollars in cash strapped to his body.
  • Badass in Distress: Spike was betrayed by Twilight Sparkle, who was intent on murdering him, but Shining Armor, Fancy Pants, Fleur de Lis, Zecora, Lyra, Bon Bon, Indigo Zap, Sour Sweet, Sunny Flare, Sugarcoat and Lemon Zest help him before that happens.
  • The Bartender: Subs in on one of Soarin's days off, complete with flair bartending.
  • Beat Them at Their Own Game: He does this with just about everyone that challenges him.
    • First, it was Twilight at Blackjack (complete with Spike throwing stealth insults).
    • Then Chrysalis in a game of Closed Poker.
    • Feather Bangs on a giant Roulette wheel.
    • Nightmare Moon/Rarity at Craps.
    • Garble and Suri Polomare in a ballroom dancing competition.
    • Diamond Tiara in Blind Man's Bluff.
    • And Filthy Rich in Hold 'Em Poker.
  • Berserk Button: Spike gets seriously pissed off if someone tries to keep him from bringing Impossibly Rich down, he gets upset when high-ranking employees abuse their power to abuse their subordinates, and he gets downright murderous when people even think about harming his friends. But the worst one of all is when he goes up against ANYONE who just doesn't play fair.
  • Bigger Is Better in Bed: He is infamous for this, not surprisingly, when he strips down for the many women in his harem, who become progressively more aroused as they watch him relieve himself of his clothes for them. Once Spike is standing naked in front of them, they are so overwhelmed by the sight of his manhood that they affectionately compliment him.
Applejack: I knew it was big, but I never imagined it was this big.
Fluttershy: It's bigger than I imagined it would be.
Pinkie Pie: Give me that big, beautiful cock!
Rainbow Dash: Whoa! You're hung like a stallion!
Fleur de Lis: Oh! Vous n’êtes pas une petite Crêpes Suzette. Vous êtes un roi! <Oh! You are not a little Crêpes Suzette. You are a king-size!>
  • Born Lucky: Heavily implied if not outright said.
  • Card Sharp:
Celestia: Why do you want to work in a casino, anyway?
Spike: Because last week I graduated from wasting four years of my life learning how to deal cards, and I’m sick of cold-decking Canterlot Beat cover boys.
  • The Casanova: Combined with the Chick Magnet and the Chivalrous Pervert with just a touch of The Pornomancer who really gets around and thinks Girl on Girl Is Hot.
  • Chekhov's Skill: His knowledge, skill and luck at gambling.
  • Companion Cube: Several. His white men's opera gloves, his single shot Derringer, and his deck of Gate Cards (which he acquires over the course of the story). But the most important, and most valuable, one of them all is his Fire Ruby Necklace. In this universe, it is the only thing he has left of his mother's.
  • Crazy Jealous Guy: He becomes jealous when Feather Bangs flirts with Rarity.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: His birthmother was killed when he was only four-years-old and he was placed in the custody of Dragon Lord Torch, his godfather, until Celestia adopted him. He attended Celestia’s School for Gifted Youths, but he didn't come from money and his classmates never let him forget it. He only attended there by the grace of Celestia's charity, which contributed to the chip on his shoulder.
  • Friend to All Children: It's more implied, but Spike does have a soft spot for kids.
Applejack: We all love you, Spike. You learn fast, you're honest, you don't go out of your way to make trouble, and the kids love ya like mad when you're teaching them how to dance.
  • Happily Adopted: He was adopted by Celestia when he was four years old.
  • Heartbroken Badass
  • Heartwarming Orphan: He brought joy into Celestia's life, even more so since she couldn't have any children of her own.
  • Hidden Depths: His singing voice is so beautiful that it drives Fluttershy and even the Dazzlings to tears.
  • Hunk: In the very first chapter, the author describes Spike as, "tall, easily six foot one, built like a boxer. Not a heavyweight, or a lightweight, but somewhere in between. And he was handsome, with slicked-back green hair and emerald eyes." And he's only 22 years old.
  • Informed Ability: In the second chapter, in addition to his gambling skills and work as a male model, Spike mentioned that he also trains horses and "runs with wolves."
  • It's Personal: It's not money that draws him to Las Pegasus... it's finding the woman responsible for murdering his mother and ruining her.
  • My Parents Are Dead: Spike's parents are not present due to them both being murdered when he was a child.
  • Nice to the Waiter: Throughout the story, Spike is shown generously tipping waiters, waitresses, musicians and almost anyone who serves him. Perhaps the biggest example of this is when he wins the poker tournament and slid two red plaques to Rainbow Dash—the dealer—as a tip. Bear in mind that said red plaques are worth half a million dollars.
  • Overly Long Name: His birthname is August Comte Louis Francis Maurice Frederick Beauregard Drake.
  • Power is Sexy: It's implied that this is the reason why so many women end up fawning all over him, as he becomes Las Pegasus' youngest, most powerful casino tycoon.
  • Precious Photo: Spike has a picture of his parents on their wedding day on the nightstand by his bed.
  • Protagonist-Centered Morality: No matter what he says or do, Spike is never in the wrong. Even if they're moraly questionable at times
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: During moments of extreme anger, the white of his eyes turns "killer red." Do not make the mistake of pissing him off.
  • Save the Villain: Even though Spike kicked Impossibly Rich hard enough to send her through a window thirty-one stories up, he still reached out to grab her hand. Their fingers touched for a brief moment, but Impossibly Rich pulled her hand away and fell to the street below... and her death.
  • Self-Made Man: Spike made his fortune working as a model, doing ads for cologne and male body wash.
  • Sex God: He's so attractive that women will shirk their duties just so they can be around him.
  • Troubled, but Cute: Pinkie probably put it the best in the "Spike's Birthday" chapter.
Pinkie Pie: You know, Spike, you're the nicest guy I’ve ever met. A little brooding and rough around the edges, but you're nice... and good looking. And honest! Girls like honesty. I can see why Applejack was so attracted to you when she first saw you.
    Spike: How—?
Pinkie: The Pinkie Sense always knows. My little oven got a little extra warm when you two were around each other.
  • Xanatos Gambit: With Applejack's help, he manages to pull a pretty big one against Svengallop in the "Equestrian Rhapsody" chapter when AJ pulls out a tape recorder and plays a bit of audio to use as a bargaining chip.
Spike: Don't worry. I wouldn't do anything as crude as make copies. But as a concerned citizen, I feel rather compelled to let this go public. If it does, your life as a talent agent will be over. So, I'll be betting this against fifty billion dollars... and Coloratura's freedom. If I lose, I'll give you this recording but I guarantee the Countess here won't want you as her manager anymore. But should I win and end up singing with Coloratura for the finale, you give me the money and your reputation goes down in flames. As long as I get to see you lose something, that's more than enough for me.

    In General

    Applejack
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/applejack.PNG
"Howdy."
  • Action Girl: More so than the others. She is an expert shot with a revolver and can hold her own in a hand-to-hand fight against the worst scum Las Pegasus has to offer.
  • Adaptational Intelligence: She's certainly more tech savvy, being the head of security for the resort, with a knowledge of how to operate the security cameras and other surveillance equipment.
  • Amazonian Beauty: Not that she wasn't a looker in the real world, but her Ogres & Oubliettes character, Lady Jacqueline Applesmith, is a buxom barbarian maiden based off a certain warrior princess.
  • Betty and Veronica: The Betty to Sunset's Veronica to Spike.
  • Big Eater: When Spike and Celestia sit down to breakfast in the cafĂ© one morning, Applejack is eating a plate of scrambled eggs and bacon, another plate of hash browns, another with biscuits and gravy, another with a stack of four pancakes drowning in maple syrup, and a large bowl of grapes with sliced pears and apples.
Celestia: Oh, is somebody eating with you?
    Applejack: No, just me.
Celestia: Sorry, it just seems like an obscene amount of food for one person.
    Applejack: It's my metabolism.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Sports beautiful blonde locks and is certainly the most moral and level-headed of the girls.
  • How Dare You Die on Me!: She says, "Don't you die on me!" when Spike eats a bite of Fluttershy's pineapple pizza, deliberately triggering his allergic reaction.
  • She Cleans Up Nicely: And how! She gets several chances to wear a dress. The one she wears during the climax, which is an elaborate red silk cheongsam reminiscent of the Far East with a slit up the right leg all the way to the top of her thigh, is just one of the many worth mentioning.
    Applejack: I look ridiculous, don't I?
Spike: That is the sexiest thing I have ever seen.
  • Statuesque Stunner: Excluding Celestia, Chrysalis, Rain Shine, Fleur, Sassy, Tempest and Stellar Flare, she is easily the tallest of the main women in Spike's harem and she's a natural blonde beauty.
"A gorgeous woman with soft lips, beautiful green eyes that rivaled his own, and a smoking hot body underneath a black pants suit (which Spike was sure her bosses made her wear). The way her legs filled out those tight pants, the curve of her ass, she looked more like a V.I.P. than an enforcer." — the author describing Applejack in Chapter One
  • Super-Strength: Gains it after escaping the Ogres & Oubliettes video game.

    Sunset Shimmer
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sunset_shimmer.PNG
Lovlier than any sunset...
  • Have We Met?: Sunset Shimmer recognized Spike from a magazine ad from their modelling days. On one page was a picture of herself in a black bikini and posing with a bottle of nail polish called "Shimmering Sunset", and on the other page was Spike, shirtless, riding a white horse bareback (on a beach, no less) and holding a bottle of the body wash that he was spokesman of.

    Fluttershy
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/flutter_bunny.PNG
  • Erotic Eating: A very minor example, but when she's out on a date with Discord and orders the fruit salad, she picks up the banana, peels it and licks the tip.
  • Intimate Healing: She strips down and has sex with Spike (to help generate body heat) to keep him from freezing to death when they are trapped in a video game.
  • NaĂŻve Newcomer: In this universe, this is her first time visiting Las Pegasus, and it shows.
  • Nice Girl: She's very sweet.
  • Puppy-Dog Eyes: And it's very effective.
  • Reverse Psychology: In "Lucky and Unlucky", she convinced Spike that he could teach dance lessons and deal cards as Twilight was taking over Rainbow Dash's housekeeping job while Dash's ankle healed. Spike fell for it.
Spike: I can't deal cards and teach people how to dance!
Fluttershy: Come on, you taught me how to quickstep this morning.
Spike: That's different. You're no pressure. What if I get so exhausted from both jobs that I drop a girl during a dip?
Fluttershy: This was the job you came here for. You're a natural. Or maybe Twilight's just a much better dealer than you are...
Spike (scoffs): In her dreams. There is nothing that she can do that I can't! Except give birth and fake an orgasm, I'll give her that.
    Fluttershy: Exactly. Hence...
Spike (thinking): Did she just use reverse psychology on me? Damn, she's good!
Spike (talking again): Okay, okay. I can teach ballroom dancing and deal cards, too. Thanks, Fluttershy. From now on, your lessons are always on the house.
  • Romance-Inducing Smudge: While on a picnic with Spike, Fluttershy noticed that he had a piece of cucumber on his lip and instead of saying, "here, let me get that for you", she automatically reached out, took it and ate it.
Fluttershy: I-I'm sorry, it's an old habit of mine.
  • You're Cute When You're Angry: Discord said this to Fluttershy after he and Pharynx manage to piss her off during her rendition of "I'm Cute".
  • You're Drinking Breast Milk: A variant of this occurs in the "Roll Ruler" chapter. After returning from her date with Spike, Fluttershy asks him if he was breastfed as a baby. When he says he doesn't remember, she shares with him that she used to work as a wet nurse for mothers that couldn't produce their own milk. And when Fluttershy also tells him that she misses the bonding, it's obvious that she's embarrassed. It's a very heartwarming moment between the two, even more so that they're both turned on by it when they end up in bed together later.

    Pinkie Pie
  • Big Eater: Her ability to pack food away rivals Applejack's.
  • Extreme Omnivore: In the "Initiation" chapter, Sonata tosses Pinkie a dog biscuit, which she eats. And later, in "Carnival Craze", she orders a hot dog with ketchup, mustard, relish, sauerkraut, chili and candy sprinkles. Talk about a Bizarre Taste in Food.
Pinkie (after taking a bite): Ooohhh... So good... Sooo goooood...
  • Fanservice with a Smile: Her waitress uniform shows off quite a bit of leg, and she frequently gives Spike several opportunities to look down her top.
  • Hairy Hammerspace: She has pulled a microphone, a red clown nose, a bike horn, and a dozen plastic bendy straws out of her hair.
Spike: What else you got in there?

    Rainbow Dash
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rainbow_dash.PNG
And she would have rather worn a bunny suit.
  • Hard-Drinking Party Girl: She lives the life of a college frat boy and delivers sex like one of the girls gone wild.
  • I Have Brothers: She has one older sibling, Rainbow Blitz.
  • Shower of Love: With Spike in the "Deep Impact" chapter.
  • Smoking Hot Sex: After having sex with Spike in the shower, Rainbow Dash smoked while lying naked in bed beside him after they made love a second time, a cigarette in one hand and a glass of bourbon in the other.
Rainbow Dash: Spike, I don't do this kind of thing very often.
Spike: What? Smoke, drink, or fuck?
Rainbow Dash: All of the above.
  • Tomboy with a Girly Streak: While it is not shown much, Dash does have a feminine side.

    Rarity
  • Cathartic Scream: After an argument with Rainbow Dash, the first thing Rarity did when she got back to her room was grab a pillow, press her face into it, and scream.
  • Demonic Possession: She gets possessed by the spirit of Nightmare Moon.
  • I Want My Beloved to Be Fashionable: An inversion; Rarity was custom-tailoring suits for Spike long before she joined his harem.
  • Number Two: To Discord—technically, she is the concierge of the resort, not the assistant manager.
  • Porn Names: The one on the fake I.D. card that Discord gives her.
    Rarity: "Sandy Broadchest"?
Rainbow Dash: Just pretend you don't speak English, otherwise we'll have to put a green wig over your hair.

    Starlight Glimmer
  • Daddy's Girl: She has a close relationship with her father—even after he forces her to work at the same resort, which he is the majority shareholder of.
  • Fallen Princess: She is forced by her father to get a summer job at the hotel as punishment for her party.

    Twilight Sparkle
  • A Glass in the Hand: After being outcheated by Spike, she crushes the single red chip (worth only $5) he tossed her as a tip.
  • Blood Knight: When it comes to gambling.
  • The Chew Toy: Even on her best day, the universe itself likes to make sure Twilight gets hurt as often as possible.
  • Dark Secret: She was all but blackmailed by Impossibly Rich into helping her so they can get their mutual revenge on Spike.
  • Fatal Flaw: Her gambling addiction, along with her desire for revenge is what brought her down in the end.
  • Fear of Thunder: She cowers under the covers of her bed during a big thunderstorm and says outright that she's scared.
  • Tragic Villain: Her desire to get revenge destroys any love she may have had for Spike and deprives her of the chance for a happy life.

Other Staff At the Flimflam Brothers Resort

    Flim Skim & Flam Scam
  • Asshole Victim: When Impossibly Rich took control of their resort, she left the two men with almost nothing. Spike and his friends don't feel bad for them in the slightest, considering all the crap the two brothers pulled and everything they put them all through, and didn't even bother recruiting them in their plan to take Rich down.
  • Bad Boss: They support a toxic work enviroment and seems to enjoy putting their employees though a meatgrinder.
  • Corrupt Corporate Executive: It's the Flimflam bros, what did you expect?
  • Enemy Mine: Spike hates their guts but he hates Impossibly Rich even more. And he was more than willing to work with the former if it meant beating the latter in various competitions.
  • I'm Thinking It Over!: When they and Discord are threatened with death if they do not allow Spike to wager ownership of their casino resort. They give Spike several conflicting answers as the death trap gets closer and closer to killing before they decide to go through with the wager.
  • Red Herring: The first several chapters made it seem like they were going to be the main villains of the story. (And for a time, they were. See What Could Have Been on the Trivia page.) That is until Impossibly Rich, the actual Big Bad of the story, finally made her appearance.

    Discord
  • Bad Boss / Benevolent Boss: After sharing with Fluttershy that he was so stressed out from the rigors of his job, he almost broke down crying in front of her, leading to her helping him deal with his stress. Thankfully he's not as bad as Flim and Flam or Impossibly Rich and Abacus Cinch.
  • Bubble Pipe: He puffs on one while dressed as General Patton at the end of "Another One Bites the Dust."
  • Deadpan Snarker: He wouldn't be Discord if he wasn't.
  • End of an Era: He was once a big name in Las Pegasus as a big-time casino owner (long before Flim and Flam showed up), and he occasionally laments how things have changed to the city and its culture.
"You know, when I was your age, they had to use a water cannon to keep me away from the girls down at the Paramount."
to Twilight in "Thrills, Cocktails and Cupcakes"
  • Everyone Has Standards: Just because he's a hardass himself and is basically Flim & Flam's second in command, doesn't mean that he always agrees with their methods. He's also not a big fan of the Rich Family either.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He initially comes off as cynical and unfriendly, but that doesn't mean he doesn't feel compassion or pity. He does act like a jerk, but is generally a good guy and warms up a bit over time.
  • Large Ham:
"Absolutely no problem... IF I HAD ALL ETERNITY!!!!"
  • No Celebrities Were Harmed: He introduces himself as "John de Prancie", the day manager at the hotel. Fluttershy even addresses him by his first name on occasion.
  • Pocket Protector: During his duel with Twilight Sparkle, he is stabbed in the torso but saved by the wad of counterfeit bills he had in his jacket's breast pocket.
    "Thank you, Neighsay. Thank you."
  • Troll: Not only is he called one by several people — including Spike, who calls him "an immature, pathetic, supersized troll"; and Trixie, who is surprised Discord can even dress himself in the morning — but Discord himself openly admits that he knows they call him as such.
Discord: I have to be to run the resort in the manner the owners expect.
  • Wouldn't Hit a Girl:
"I have never hit a woman in my life. But you are pushing it!"
  • Vanity Plate: Has one for his personal golf cart.

    Moon Dancer

    Soarin

    Zephyr Breeze

"The Great And Powerful" Trixie Lulamoon
  • Childhood Friend Romance: With Spike.
  • New Old Flame: She is introduced as one of Spike's oldest friends.
  • Stage Magician: Like her father, Jack Pot, she was really a sorceress pretending to be stage magician. She has considerable skill in sleight of hand and escape artistry in addition to her authentic mystical abilities, and she has quite a bit of fame and fortune stemming from her performances in Las Pegasus.
  • Tarot Troubles: She pulled the typical "the Death card was drawn" played-for-drama bit during a reading for Twilight Sparkle... as well as the Fool and the Tower (Destruction). Before that, Trixie drew the Lovers, which she and Spike had become in the previous chapter.

    Adagio Dazzle

    Aria Blaze
  • All Women Love Shoes: During the "Initation" chapter, Spike doesn't stop cleaning out the Dazzlings' closets until after he counts 38 black shoes.
Spike: Why do you have 19 pairs in the same color?
Aria: You stupid— Those are strap-backs, Stilettos, Cobbie Cuddlers, espadrilles, flats, pumps, patent leathers, Spectators...

    Sonata Dusk

Others

    Celestia
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/celestia.PNG
"Hello, Nurse!"
  • Head-Turning Beauty:
"With super-flawless, silky-smooth skin, big boobs, a tiny waist and childbearing hips she was built like a goddess." — the author describing Celestia in Chapter One
  • Older Than They Look:
Spike: She adopted me when she was twenty; I was four going on five. I just turned twenty-three, so that makes her...
Fancy Pants (after sputtering into his Scotch): Forty-two or forty-three? Why, she doesn't look a day over twenty-nine!
  • Snark-to-Snark Combat: She is able to trade insults with Discord of all people.
Discord: Well, there she is. The Ball-Crusher 2000.
Celestia: Spike, you didn't tell me it was Bring Your Troll to Work Day.
    Discord: Enough with the pleasantries.

    Dragon Lord Torch

     Ember

     Chrysalis Queen
  • Aggressive Submissive: Her relationship with Spike. She is a very dominant person in her daily life and tries to control whatever situation she's in. This isn't the case for her in the bedroom, as she is gentle, soft, and very submissive toward Spike. (The opposite of Spike's more reserved nature, and he is very dominant with her.)
  • In-Series Nickname: "The King Killer."
  • Ms. Fanservice: When she walked into the High Rollers' Lounge in a black dress that puts her cleavage (and there is a lot of it) on full display.
  • Runaway Groom: Before the events of the story, Chrysalis's would-be husband left her at the altar.
  • Show Some Leg: To give Spike an advantage in the poker tournament, he got Chrysalis a very low-cut dress and instructed her to walk up behind him so that he couldn't see her coming.

    Stellar Flare

    Sunburst

    Fancy Pants

    Fleur de Lis
  • Everything Sounds Sexier in French: She introduced as a lustful lady filled with deep passion and an all-consuming desire for a soulmate. She is determined to find her Mr. Right, no matter how aggressive her come-ons tend to hinder her effort.

    Zecora

    Bon Bon/Special Agent Sweetie Drops

    Diamond Tiara
  • Big Damn Heroes: She bails out Spike in the Poker Tournament against her father.
  • Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal: After finally having enough of the abuse she receives from both her mother and grandmother, she decides to rebel and help out Spike whenever she can.

Antagonists

    Impossibly Rich
  • Abusive Parent: While she's not bad as Spoiled, she does have her moments when it comes to her grandaughter.
  • Big Bad: Her family has been printing counterfeit money from several countries in order to cheat her way into power.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: On the outside, she comes off as a highly respected businesswoman but her family members and top flunkies know better.
  • Dirty Old Woman: Heavily implied to be this. Both her masseur and her personal trainer are her lovers, and there's a good chance that they're half her age. She also seemed to have had an interest in Spike for a time.
  • Disney Villain Death: Spike kicked her off a building and she fell right into a taxicab.
  • Evil Counterpart: In a way, she could be seen as this to Celestia. Both are very wealthy and highly respected women with successful sons but the similarities end there. While Celestia is a kind, caring person who loves her family dearly, Impossibly is anything BUT kind who treats her own flesh and blood as any other minion and sees them as pieces to a chess board. Also, while Celestia is still naturally beautiful, she looks like she's in her late twenties despite being in her early forties, Impossibly, who's somewhere in her sixties, keeps herself beautiful through plastic surgery.
  • Evil Is Petty: What did she do to the last guy she caught cheating in her casino? She had him "sent up the river" for ten years, had the bank seize his house and bankrupted his brother-in-law's tractor dealership. And that is MINOR compared to what she did to both Ragamuffin and his girlfriend and to Spike's birthparents.
  • Hate Sink: Good luck trying to find anything redeemable on this bitch.
  • It's All About Me: Her big, fancy casino-hotels, Rich Casino and Resort, Rich Plaza and Rich Towers are all named after her.
  • Jerkass: And that's putting it very nicely.
  • Kick the Dog: Boy does she love doing these.
  • Knight of Cerebus: She darkens the overall tone of the story, having no funny moments and being a straight up greedy sociopath willing to ruin other peoples' lives to cover her dark plans. Her most hated moves were killing Spike's father in a bombing, then slitting Spike's mother's throat in revenge when she destroyed Impossibly's empire, and finally, trying to get rid of Spike when he comes after her 20 years later.
  • Pay Evil unto Evil: Removing Film & Flam from power and killing her backstabbing daughter-in-law were probably the only good things she ever did in the story.
  • Pet the Dog: In a suprisingly gesture of good faith, she lets Flim & Flam keep the flying casino. Though, this could easily argue as an act of Cruel Mercy towards her former rivals.
  • Pragmatic Villainy: What did she do when she found out that Garble was a spy for Torch? She offered him a bigger paycheck and a chance to be Dragon Lord. An offer that he more than gladly accepted.
  • Pretty in Mink: She often wears a white fox stole.
  • You Killed My Mother: She was the one responsible for the death of Spike's mother.

    Filthy Rich
  • Adaptational Villainy: Subverted, he comes off as more as an Anti-Villain who just wants to fill his pockets.
  • Good Parents: Tries to be this for Diamond but thanks to Spoiled and Impossibly, his hands are tied.
  • Graceful Loser: When Spike beats him in a Gate Battle, he seemingly takes his defeat with stride. Played straight near the end when his mother's counterfeiting scheme goes up in smoke.
  • Sympathetic Adulterer: Hooks up with other women behind his wife's back. Though, giving what kind of person Spoiled is, it's somewhat understandable.
  • White Sheep: Sort of. Yes, he's a sleaze and a perv but compared to both his wife and his mother, he's practically a saint.
  • Token Good Teammate: He's the least evil of his mother's underlings.

    Spoiled Rich
  • Abusive Parents: She verbally and emotionally abused her daughter, Diamond Tiara.
  • Asshole Victim: Impossibly killed her near the end, and while that may have been her absolute worst moment, Spoiled made her daughter's life absolutely miserable, who in turn made a few attempts to run away as a result, and planned to send her away to get married to some rich snob. When Spike and the others stormed the casino, she tried to make off with the counterfeit printing plates, leaving both her husband and daughter to their fates. Neither Filthy nor Diamond don't seem to be too broken up about her death, especially the latter.
  • Gold Digger: While it was never stated, there were some implications that this was the reason why she married Filthy in the first place.
  • Hate Sink: She is just as unpleasant as her mother-in-law, if not more so.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Spoiled attempted to bolt it with the counterfeiting plates. Sadly for her, she doesn't make it very far.
  • Too Dumb to Live: When Spoiled betrays Impossibly and takes the plates, she opens her jacket to show that she has a gun as a warning. But does she take the gun out, point it at Impossibly and keep her distance? No, she keeps it in the holster alongside her waist, and walks right up to Impossibly where she could have easily taken the gun from her. Or stab her in the chest (which she does).

    Abacus Cinch
  • Perpetual Frowner: In the story, it's explained that she deliberately cultivates this image because she believes it'll be taken as a sign of weakness if she ever lets anyone see her smile.

    Garble

    Suri Polomare
  • Create Your Own Villain: Suri started working for the Richs after Spike swapped her progress results with Fluttershy's which in turn got her unceremoniously fired.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Even before she was fired from Flimflam's Resort and Casino, she was NOT well liked amongst the customers and fellow coworkers.
