This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

A few more minor things:
- At Gundam, for the first entry, "Prince" shouldn't be in Gihren's name.
- Quote change for Sherlock Holmes:
~ACW, I didn't see existing write-ups of those ones for Monster.Web Original. Did you mean to say "rewrites"?
Done to here.

The pic on UsefulNotes.Osama Bin Laden has the wrong width. Can this be corrected?
Hi, I recently adopted Science Is Good on TLP — since it was so close to launching I fixed it up and tried to launch it today. However, I didn't know Science Is Good was a cut, locked page, and so I think the launch failed. Any ideas on a fix?
I meant writeups.
Did you do the Star Wars stuff?
Also, at Visual Novels, for Dahlia Hawthorne, that should be "defense attorney Mia Fey", not prosecutor.

CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsI suggest that on Locked Pages, Permanent Red Link Club should be moved from the Other folder to the Administrivia/Policy folder, as that page is in the Administrivia namespace.
Limpin' with the bizkit. Please lock Woobie.Strider.
Did the edits on Monster.Visual Novels and UsefulNotes.Osama Bin Laden. Otherwise:
- Science Is Good: It looks like Science Is Good was an old lock; I've unlocked and unlaunched the TLP so that it can be re-launched properly.
- ~ACW, it seems like the pothole sandbox swap was carried out.
- On Locked Pages, Permanent Red Link Club isn't really a policy and isn't locked for that reason.
- Regarding Woobie.Strider, why should it be locked?
As I understood, The Woobie is under a lockdown and approval akin to Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!Huh - I went through the last 20 or so pages of the Woobie cleanup thread and of the moderator forum and didn't find anything. As for the request itself, I am a little wary about the workload that might come from this. The other all-locked page, Complete Monster, is responsible for almost half of all edits we are asked to do, and I wonder at which point it becomes "too much".

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI must be going crazy, because Star Wars has the unfolderized, older entries.
EDIT: At A Song of Ice and Fire, for Game of Thrones, for Ramsay, for the last sentence, it currently says "every negative stereotypes". Stereotypes should be singular.
EDIT 2: Also for ASOIAF, please replace the page quote with this:
Please then remove that quote from Complete Monster.

CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsOn the Locked Pages page itself:
- Remove the Headscratchers. The Flash 2014 entry, as the page has been split and unlocked.
- Add an entry for Pokémon Sword and Shield: "Temporary lock as pre-release material is attracting speculation."
Edit request for the Rape Is a Special Kind of Evil page to mark an unmarked spoiler:
- In The Unexplored Summon Blood Sign, rape is basically the only thing the White Queen hasn't done to subjugate Kyousuke. She will brainwash, torture, and threaten innocents on a whim, but his chastity is (relatively) safe even when his body isn't.
Currently, the entry on the main page shows the spoiler-marked part unmarked, which gives away a HUGE plot twist. I put it in spoiler marks here to protect those who do not wish to be spoiled as well. I would like to request permission to change it, please.
One of these days, all of you will accept me as your supreme overlord. But Permanent Red Link Club is in the Administrivia namespace, that's why I think it should be moved to that folder in Locked Pages.
Limpin' with the bizkit. Please lock Final Fantasy VII Remake. It has been a full-time job keeping it free of speculation according to the new policies, and several tropers (most notably PF) have been systematically unhiding cleaned-up entries without either addressing the issues that got them hidden in the first place or bringing the matter to the cleanup thread for consensus.
On top of that, there's a risk the edit wars for FFVII proper could have spilled onto the remake's page.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.If anything specific can be pointed at in the edit history, I'll start banning people. Happily.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Nothing that rises to the level of a full-on Edit War (which is to say, the same troper adding something and then re-adding it after cleanup), just a few people unhiding things without apparently giving much thought to the idea that it probably got hidden for a reason.

I locked The Woobie and its subpages under a proposition that it was just for the initial sweep, which is either taking a very long time (it must have been more than 3 months, unless I'm losing my mind), or has already been done (I genuinely don't recall that many requests made here for it). I'm unlocking them.
I'm specifically referring to some of the dumber arguments that were carried out on the original FFVII article before it got locked, mainly having to do with shipping — specifically, which pairing of Cloud is canonical. It is my personal dream to ban (and possibly punch in the face) every single person who tries to carry on that particular fight.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Done to here, I think.
Thankfully I haven't seen the ancient shipping wars appear on the remake pages yet, even after Aerith and Tifa were given scenes with Cloud in the latest trailers.

When the above's done, please replace the content at Star Wars with the content at CM Pothole Removals and Cut List the latter.
