IDK, actually. Sometimes subpages get orphaned if a description is changed, especially if the pages are meant to be cleaned but weren't. If you can bring up a list of these subpages, we can go through them; if they're pages we already went through we'll figure out what the deal is.

Gonna tackle Radar. The Looney Tunes Show. IMDB says it's rated TV-PG. I know Warner Bros. is known for DIH, but a lot of these are reading too deeply into things.

ffs I accidentally clicked cancel instead of save draft

101 — Best Friends

  • On the game show "Besties," the Goofy Gophers say they like "cruising".
  • The Grilled Cheese Merry Melodies music video contains a lot of sexual innuendo. For example, the music sounds sexy and romantic, second, Elmer "fingers" the picture of the grilled cheese, and finally, Elmer sits on a heart cushion with the grilled cheese at the end. "Fingers" is an exaggeration, Elmer just strokes the picture. Whatever sexual innuendo there might be still makes sense in the context of making grilled cheese + Trademark Favorite Food.

102 — Members Only

  • Some stripper-like martians are featured in the "I'm a Martian" song. Boom-shaka-laka indeed. Fanservice isn't Radar.
  • Not to mention that in the same video, Marvin stands at a rally, on a podium with red banners and drapes, with countless martians standing to attention infront of him singing "I'm a Martian, I'm a Martian, lalala, la, la, lalala." ... to the tune of Deutschland Uber Alles. Parental Bonus.

103 — The Jailbird and Jailbunny

  • Bugs and Daffy chained at the ankle. When Bugs mentions it to a police officer, his response is priceless.
Officer: Your personal lives are your business.
That same cop didn't recognize them from their wanted posters earlier. That's just Police Are Useless.
  • In the Merrie Melodies short, especially towards the end, the background dancers breasts are very large, with some cleavage showing. To say nothing of the generous attention paid to them shaking their similarly large hips. Fanservice isn't Radar.

104 — Fish and Visitors

  • While crashing at their place, Yosemite Sam instructs Bugs and Daffy, "Wake me up at 4:30. Unless I'm having night terrors... or if there's a tie on the doorknob." Parental Bonus.
    • In that same episode Daffy tells Sam under no circumstances to ever open the third drawer on the left. He does it anyways and finds some DVDs. The look Bugs levels at a sheepish Daffy is particularly damning. Parental Bonus.
  • In the Merrie Melodies short, Foghorn Leghorn recommends eating a "fish taco".
    • That is an actual variation of the regular taco, except in real life, you don't put a whole, raw fish inside a tortilla. Repair, Don't Respond. That aside, they're right about this being Grandma's Chicken Salad.

106 — Reunion

  • In the CGI short, "Fee Fi Fo Dumb", Wile E. Coyote gets an email from the ACME Catalog with the headline, "Wanna be bigger?!" Parental Bonus.
    • He first tries it out on his tail... which gets longer. It's giant spray though, it's supposed to do that.
    • When the Road Runner takes refuge in a cave, Wile E. then proceeds to stick his right hand in the cave, where it acts like a sniffing dog. The finger acting as the head is the middle one. Because that's what makes the most sense anatomically. It's not like he only stuck his middle finger in there.
  • "You peaked too soon!" Accidental Innuendo, but even that feels like a stretch because they're talking about peaking in highschool.
  • In the Merrie Melodies short "Cock of the Walk", Foghorn Leghorn sings about how attractive he is to the lady chickens (becoming a literal Chick Magnet). In one scene, said hens start laying hundreds of eggs at the very sight of Foghorn, in a manner very reminiscent of another particular bodily function. There's nothing indicating that it's meant to specifically be an orgasm. I think this is Grandma's Chicken Salad.

107 — Casa de Calma

  • The Hollywood starlet Starlet Johanssen is pretty curvy, especially with the bikini. In one scene, she takes off her towel while entering a massage room, and in another, she gets a Panty Shot. Fanservice isn't Radar. We never actually see any nudity as she enters the massage room. 99% sure Panty Shot is just being misused for "underwear is visible.

109 — The Foghorn Leghorn Story

  • Daffy's description of Foghorn, specifically, "...with two big balls hanging from his chin." Grandma's Chicken Salad.
    • Also, Yosemite Sam is hanging his laundry out to dry, one of which is a banana hammock (slang term for a scandalously revealing thong). Fan Disservice.

110 — Eligible Bachelors

  • When Porky is auctioning off Daffy, he does some very interesting dance movements. A character being a fuckboy is not objectionable.
  • Upon Daffy's discovery that Granny just wants him to clean her attic, he remarks that isn't very romantic for a date. To which Granny gives this immortal line:
Granny: "I'm a ninety year-old woman. Get your mind out of the gutter."
Again, that's just him being a perv.

112 — Double Date

  • When Daffy tries to convince Bugs to ask Lola for a favor, he insistently refers to it as "hooking me up". Bugs's uncomfortable reaction to the phrase only furthers the hidden implication. Daffy actually says "hook it up" and Bugs's reaction is more akin to It Will Never Catch On.
  • Lola (after falling for Daffy): "You have a really big beak."
Daffy: (About Tina) "Her beak is bigger than mine."
Not sure if this is meant to have a double meaning or not. Regardless, it's not Radar.
  • When Daffy sees Lola in his house lying on his bed ...suggestively, his towel falls off.
Lola: "Hello, Daffy". Somewhat suggestive at most, especially because Lola is just wearing her normal dress.

116 — That's My Baby

  • The basis of the "couple fight": Daffy sees Tina with a baby duck and assumes it's hers that she had with another duck. The assumption that she was cheating on him is the reason why Daffy says that she is dead to him... until she says that she's babysitting her sister's kid. Mistaken for Cheating.
  • When Tina starts feeding Zachary in the park, Daffy repeatedly criticizes her feeding method. The criticisms fly so fast that one could be forgiven for missing the last one: "That's not the right nipple." Maybe? It's not super fast like the example claims, so you can clearly hear it. Cartoon Network is pretty inconsistent about whether nipple is allowed though.
  • Everything about "Skunk Funk" — especially the Shout-Out to The Continental (the SNL recurring sketch with Christopher Walken as the title character, though it was shown in black and white like the original version) with the woman running for the door whenever The Continential says or does something really raunchy to his unseen guest. That's just Pepe being a creep like he always is.
  • A Freeze-Frame Bonus: While Daffy talks with a woman at the movie theater, a poster is seen behind her advertising a movie called "Short Cake". Her ponytail covers up part of the "h", and the font used makes the "a" look a bit like an "o", making the poster read "snort coke." Maybe.

117 — Sunday Night Slice

  • When the elderly Giraldi leaves his restaurant, he gets in his car with a much younger Mrs. Giraldi. Considering how Mr. Giraldi remarks that he's now fairly wealthy, it makes the age difference very explainable. That's just Trophy Wife.

118 — The DMV

  • At the beginning of the episode, Bugs tells Daffy (who is dressed in drag in order to get a 'student discount') that he is driving them to the movie theater, which Daffy replies with:
Daffy: What are you, the man of this relationship?!
Bugs: (Deadpan) We're not in a relationship.
Just Daffy being an idiot. 119 — Off Duty Cop
  • As Daffy shows him "Off Duty Cop", Porky has to ask "Does he handcuff everyone he meets?" right as the action hero appears to be getting into a romantic scene. And it ends in handcuffs, too! ...because she was a criminal, like with all the other handcuffings. This entry contradicts itself. If it makes sense in the context of the work, it's not Radar, regardless of whether there's a second dirty meaning or not.
  • Bugs getting addicted to an energy drink, right down to negotiating a deal to meet up with a "supplier" to get his fix. The drink in question also causes him to become hyperactive, engage in compulsive housework, and complain of itching, which are all symptoms of crystal meth and amphetamine use. And it's not a stand-in for drugs either, as the FBI actually ends up busting the company for putting dangerous addictive chemicals into the drink. Parental Bonus.
  • Yosemite Sam running away from the cops bare-ass naked. Naked People Are Funny.

120 — Working Duck

  • Daffy is unemployed for several months, claiming to be looking for a job on the computer. When Bugs comes into the room asking how the job hunt is going, Daffy attempts to bring up his resume... closing NUMEROUS windows in the process, while Bugs looks on with shocked and disgusted facial expressions. When Daffy finally thinks he's arrived at the right window, there is a silent pause as both look on, and Daffy responds "Sorry... that was DEFINITELY not my resume." Daffy was looking at internet porn on Bugs' computer instead of looking for a job. Parental Bonus.

121 — French Fries

  • "Porky is a big....piece of......(stops)....GARBAGE! Grandma's Chicken Salad. Daffy wasn't even close to swearing. It isn't even Last Second Word Swap because he doesn't pause at all.
    • Even worse: "What a garbage move!" Same here.

122 — Beauty Shop

  • Bugs posing as Porky's girlfriend for dance school and Speedy falling in love with him. Attractive Bent Gender.

123 — The Float

  • Daffy literally strips Porky. They're animals, that's fine. It doesn't have a sexual connotation because it's just Daffy taking advantage of Porky.
  • Then Porky tackles Daffy, naked, and Bugs watches... rather interestingly into it. Grandma's Chicken Salad. Bugs is watching smugly as Porky beats up Daffy for taking advantage of him.
  • During the gophers' "Best Friends" song, they lick a vanilla ice cream cone. Even if it's meant to be suggestive (which I doubt), it still makes sense in the context of the song.

124 — The Shelf

  • "My eyes are up here" is said at least twice. Daffy being an idiot. Also he doesn't actually have anything.

202 — You've Got Hate Mail

  • When Tina finally checks Daffy's e-mail, she says something along the lines of, "Whoa! You really laid into those gophers." Obviously it was the most offensive and possibly derogatory section of his "hate-filled e-mail". Especially when one considers the relationship of said gophers. That's just the Gophers having a reputation for being Sickeningly Sweet.

204 — Rebel Without a Glove

  • Daffy is revealed to wear a pearl necklace. Grandma's Chicken Salad. Pearls are a sign of high status, the gender thing wasn't around until a few years ago. Even so, Looney Tunes cross dress all the time, this is fine.
  • When Bugs gets a tattoo, the tattoo artist says, "I'm sorry if it hurts." He replied, "I didn't even know you started." Accidental Innuendo.

207 — Customer Service

  • Lola's daydream has her in a suspectly short dress at Copyplace. No it isn't.
    • Plus, the beginning of her daydream (or, more appropriately, fantasy) looked almost like an adult movie. No, it's just a cheesy romcom.
  • The Spanish telenovela Speedy watches has a rather... interesting plotline. Again, it's just a cheesy telenovela where the doctor finds out he's the father. This is fine.
  • After Tina and Lola go for a drive, we get this exchange: "Thanks again for letting me pick your brain." Then Lola replies with, "Are you kidding? No one's ever wanted to pick my brain before. Well, except for when I signed up for those medical experiments..." Her Adaptation Personality Change is because she "voluntarily" signed up for experimental brain surgery. What's supposed to be Radar here?

215 — The Black Widow

  • Daffy and Porky are streaking. Naked People Are Funny.

216 — Mrs. Porkbunny's

  • The beginning of the episode when Bugs is making a list for shopping after seeing one of Daffy's items.
Bugs: What do you need with sixteen tubes of lip balm? You don't have lips.
Daffy: It's not for my lips.
Bugs: (Eyes widen) I don't wanna know.
Couldn't find this anywhere. Assuming this is accurate, it's still not Radar, just really weird.
  • When Daffy tried out for a commercial the first time after being asked to see his profile viewpoint.
Casting Judge: Oh my, that's a really big beak.
Daffy: Thank you, it gets the job done.
Parental Bonus.

217 — Gribbler's Quest

  • In the Merrie Melody "Parade Float" where Daffy describes his parade float.
Singer:: Parade Float, just don't try to pass... Parade Float, or he'll flatten your car!
They didn't actually say ass though. There's nothing here.

218 — The Grand Old Duck of York

  • Daffy's parade float has a back door. Guess where it is. After exiting it, Daffy mentions needing to oil it. Toilet Humor.
  • At one point, Yosemite Sam interrupts Bugs while he's reading the newspaper. The 'article' Bugs was looking at at the time was an ad for a discount on swimsuits, with a picture of a woman in a bikini. Suggestive, but this is just Fanservice.

219 — Ridiculous Journey

  • During an argument, Sylvester and Tweety have this exchange:
    Sylvester: You tempted me.
Tweety: By taking a bath? You got problems, man!
Kind of weird but not Radar.

221 — The Year of the Duck

  • I'm sorry - I lost count of how many times the word "tit" was either said or shown during the 2-minute-long "Tit For Tat" Show Within a Show segment. Grandma's Chicken Salad.

Animaniacs specifically states that while the 2020 reboot uses more Demographically Inappropriate Humor, it aired on a streaming service so there isn't a radar to get anything past. Since that's the case, shouldn't the examples on that page from the reboot be removed?

I think a lot of the 2020 reboot stuff can be reworked as Parental Bonus. Some of this stuff feels like a stretch even then.

I do think the "Tuck" clip would genuinely count, as they do get a frame of "Fuck" in there. Even by internal Hulu standards, that's not family show stuff. Maybe same with Yakko saying "shitty" since he doesn't really get cut off well (and I definitely heard it in the episode lol). The link is dead though.

I know it's been over a week, but I'd like to apologize for the Grandma's Chicken Salad thing. I only used it because "innocent thing mistaken for dirty" sounds too much like Accidental Innuendo. Regardless, what I wrote was obtuse and I ended up making an ass of myself. I guess I could write "innocent thing warped to look dirty" because it does happen, but even that might be too snarky.

"Grandma's Chicken Salad" is a Friends reference. In one episode, Joey proves he can make anything sound dirty by saying it in a suggestive tone, and demonstrates with "Grandma's chicken salad". Spource.

Re dookamatic's post about Prince of Egypt:

Here are the age ratings

  • USA: PG
  • Canada: PG (Alberta), G (British Columbia, Québec, Saskatchewan)
  • Australia: G
  • New Zealand: G
  • UK: U
  • Ireland: G

PG ratings do allow for that kind of thing; indeed, the whole point of PG is that the movie has some stuff in it that might not be suitable for younger children.

The G ratings are stricted, but even they allow for the occasional discreet sex joke. Prince of Egypt doesn't appear to have anything that goes beyond G, so I would say cut it.

Have anyone looked over Radar.Katamari Damacy yet? A few examples in particular feel questionable:

  • The drill-legged cousin Drooby has 'Mystery Globes' on her chest. Why use the term 'Mystery Globes'? Because that's what Velvet's online profile calls them when she borrows them for Touch My Katamari. Pretty sure a character having boobs (or what looks like boobs) isn't inappropiate by itself
    • Foomin also changes her costume for Touch My Katamari, wearing cow-print like her absent friend Daisy. Unlike Daisy, however, she doesn't wear pink tights to invoke udders... she wears pink on her head. And her online profile claims she's trying to update her image to seem sexier.
      • Oh, and on that note - Daisy doesn't wear pink tights. Her feet ARE udders. Her profile explicitly mentions milk squirting from her feet when she walks. Udders aren't inappropiate, and the "milk squirting out of feet/udders" just seems like a gag based on her cow theme
  • Cousin Lalala. Period. Just Naked People Are Funny, it's not like there's anything inappropiate to show anyway
  • The sides of Cousin Honey's head look distinctly like boobs with nipples. Which she can squish and stretch. Eh, I guess I kinda see it, but most likely Accidental Innuendo
  • Katamari creator Keita Takahashi confirmed on Twitter that Foomin was based around Fumie Hosokawa, a Japanese actress known for her breasts. DIH/Parental Bonus
  • One of the starting points for the Sun level in Beautiful Katamari places you in front of a sumo wrestler, and the King's head appears where you might expect it to appear. While I haven't played this game, this just sounds like Accidental Innuendo
