This thread is for cleaning up pages that violate the No Lewdness, No Prudishness policy.
Do not use this thread for reporting pages that need to be cut for violating The Content Policy. Report pages that appear too lewd or gushy to have on the wiki using the "Report Page" button on the sidebar, with the checkbox saying "The page may violate the Content Policy" checked. That will create a thread on the Content Violation Discussions subforum. The thread will be opened by a mod if the report is valid, and if it's deemed necessary, the page will be cleaned according to the Content Policy. (The list of pages that were deemed problematic can be found on The Content Policy's page.)
No Lewdness:
"Lewdness" is more than just being about something sexual or potentially sexual. Here are some signs of lewd writing:
- Personal opinions on hotness. Examples should stand on their own without the introduction of YMMV material. Adding your own thoughts and feelings on an example is an opinion, same as calling an example good or bad. Don't do it. Don't try and extend your feelings to a larger group of fans either, e.g. "...and fangirls everywhere rejoiced". You're not fooling anyone.
- Overly detailed examples. The example doesn't need to be an exact sensory account of the event. Too much of that and you end up sounding like you're writing porn. When in doubt, drop a few adjectives.
- Unrelated fanservice mentions. If the hot bits aren't related to the example, they don't belong in the example.
- Pornographic writing. If you're writing porn, it should be somewhere other than the wiki. Keep it Family Friendly.
- Titillation links. Tell, don't show. We don't need screen shots to illustrate NSFW fanservice. If a reader is really curious, they can go look it up on Google. (See also Weblinks Are Not Examples.)
- Pedo gushing. We don't need to describe children sexually. This should be cut immediately. We're not interested in hosting pedophilia fantasies. Period. If a work contains children having sex, even if portrayed negatively, report it as a potential violation of The Content Policy using the "Report Page" button◊ in the sidebar.
- Talking about actors instead of characters. An actor is not the character they play. When you're writing an example about a work, refer to the character, not the actor. This applies to non-sexual references, but too often it's tropers writing about how they find certain actors hot. That doesn't fit in character examples.
- Thinking a page with a Not Safe for Work subject is license to be lewd. Even when we discuss porn, we are about just stating the facts.
- Fanfic Recs for underage sex. We will not host any recommendation for fics that have explicit sex involving people apparently or actually younger than 16. Period. We categorically do not recommend fics with sex in which at least one participant:
- This applies even if all parties are underage.
No Prudishness:
- Don't cutlist or gut pages just because they're about sexual topics. Sex exists. It's used in media a lot. You'll just need to cope with that fact. Relationships, fanservice, and sexual activity all fall into their own tropes as a result.
- Don't be a Bluenose Bowdlerizer. We're not looking to censor all sex off the wiki. If the sex and sexuality is an honest part of the work and relevant to the example, it belongs there.
- The wiki is not rated G. We aren't sanitizing the wiki for small children. Sex and sexuality are part of media and we aren't going to ignore them. This wiki is Family Friendly, not Unsupervised Small Child Friendly. This isn't an excuse to make work pages dirtier than the work itself, as the above No Lewdness section makes clear, but neither is it an excuse to make those pages cleaner than the work itself.

I think what you are seeing is an artifact due to the normal maps of the texture images not matching at the seams. This is why the seams are in a hidden location in the first place, which I think is a strong argument against Barbie Doll Anatomy applying - it's more The Law of Conservation of Detail applied to a game asset, if that even.
oh, the krystal thing, that was added by one particular user (ALJO) who has (had? i think they're banned?) a very creepy obsession with what's under krystal's loincloth. they even tried to add it to smashwiki at one point. i've been meaning to comb through their edit history and just remove everything they've added because it's incredibly blatant one-handed typing and makes me sick to read.

Okay, yeah, definitely cut that.
(Don't) take me home.Eww! Having it be someone's specific fetish somehow makes it worse.
It's gone, as is Panty Fighter (Added by that same troper.) Also cut Hartman Hips. (What is up with that trope? Some people like to apply it to anyone who's figure is not a beanpole... Has it ever been cleaned up?)
Some of the other entries on that page may need a little toning down, but hopefully by someone who knows the character better. The fanservice tropes in particular are a mass of cross-potholeing.
ALJO is indeed banned, for the record. They were a sockpuppet of another troper besides, so all of their edits should be backed out I think.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSomething tells me we need to go over our MLPEG pages.
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”Care to elaborate?
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢At least the pages for the media involving them in bathing suits have contained gushing and lewdness. We probably should go over them all to check for similar matters.
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”Can you link to the offending pages so I can inspect it?
I just requested a look-out.
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”Delibirda, you need to be more specific when requesting these reviews. This happened with that Equestria Girls YMMV page too, and most of the content there turned out to be okay. Can you please bring up some actual problematic content for us to review?
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.nevermind...
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”Well, you shouldn't just dismiss the issue if there is one. Just copy a section you find problematic and paste it here.
(Don't) take me home.I reckon the problem is taken care of anyway.
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”Really? If most people don't think the page is problematic because you don't show why it's problematic, it likely won't be taken care of...but, being honest, I kinda doubt people will be trying to gush over humanized ponies over there anyhow.
(Don't) take me home.I mean, knowing the brony fandom, I wouldn't put it past them, but I'd expect the main MLP page to have more creepy gushing, strangely enough.
Again, it'd help if we knew there was an issue because I don't want to go on a scavenger hunt for these problems myself.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Yikes. I found these off at My Little Pony: Equestria Girls – Forgotten Friendship:
- Fanservice: The special gives us the Equestria Girls (and Trixie) in swimsuits (Fluttershy wears a wetsuit). They're very conservative swimsuits, a given considering the intended age bracket of the series. But, still; the Equestria Girls in swimsuits. Trixie is even revealed in her swimwear with a pan up her legs.
- Sensual Spandex: Fluttershy wearing a wetsuit rather than a swimsuit makes her the one girl showing the least skin at the beach, but that suit is nonetheless very clingy.
The way it is written sounds utterly obsessive of the character's physical qualities. Should these examples be deleted?
O'hell yes! Sensual Spandex is misused as it is a sports trope.

"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”See what I mean? Never lose faith in the internet to weirdly fetishize humanized ponies.
I never like Fanservice being used as a trope (it's not wrong yet, but it encourages vagueness so it's one pet peeve) and the entry even admits that the swimsuits aren't meant to be sexy. And Sensual Spandex isn't an example — Fluttershy just wears a wetsuit, and it's not meant to be revealing in the way the trope implies. So yeah, cut them.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I thought we already went over those? Or did someone put those there for every movie?
We'd better check the other pages, then.
Optimism is a duty.So after seeing it linked on ATT, I noticed today that Testosterone Brigade has a disturbing number of examples that are written with an emphasis on the "hotness" of the female cast - and a disturbing number of those are about fairly young characters/actresses. While technically speaking the definition lists it as one reason for the trope, I'd kind of like second opinions here on whether the examples go too far, because they definitely gave me the creeps in some cases.
Glad you brought it up. Here's the example I linked on ATT, for context:
- Blue Crush features Kate Bosworth, an underage Mika Boorem, and several other hot actresses in bikinis (and sometimes even less than that) for almost the entirety of its running time. Best. Movie. Ever.
This was added as recently as January, but it reads like the kind of gross shit that made the site infamous. They refer to the actress being underage as if it's a bonus, for fuck's sake! Also it's not namespaced.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Eww, blech, cut that example, it's fucking disgusting. Yeah we may need to look at the rest of the page if it attracts entries like that.
TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallI took a quick look at the page, and I’m already seeing some issues. For starters, these bullet points come off as mainly lewd gushing:
- One Disney Princess in particular worth mentioning is Elsa from Frozen, who, despite being a queen and not a princess like her contemporaries, has become probably the most famous animated sex symbol since Jessica Rabbit due to her long blonde hair, clingy outfit, and Sexy Walk. It helps that Elsa's and Jessica's dresses have similarities. Yes, there are definitely a lot of Elsa fanboys on the internet. This is also the character that made a name for cosplayer Anna Faith Carlson, just for being a really accurate cosplay of Elsa!
- Pocahontas applied a lot of Adaptational Curves to its heroine by Executive Meddling - in real life Pocahontas was only twelve! The animators were told to make her as sexy as possible, so she has a beautiful mane of Rapunzel Hair and a skintight dress that teases exotic Fanservice. There's one very gratuitous moment where she's crawling up a rock and her ass is fully on display.
- Although not an official Disney Princess, Esmerelda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame attracts this for a very sexy scene where she performs a pole dance for an adoring crowd. She's drawn to be far more voluptuous than the typical Disney heroine, and gets a feisty Action Girl personality too.
- Victorious featured a cast made up of some of the hottest young actresses on the planet. While still aimed mostly at fellow teenage girls, Elizabeth Gillies, Victoria Justice, Daniella Monet, and Ariana Grande attract a huge amount of interest from guys (and in the latter's case, her music career is only making it grow faster). Precursor show iCarly also developed one of these once Miranda Cosgrove and Jennette McCurdy grew up in the last few seasons, as did the short-lived crossover spinoff Sam & Cat with McCurdy and Grande. More Nickelodeon examples, like Kira Kosarin of The Thundermans, Brec Bassinger of Bella and the Bulldogs, and Jade Pettyjohn of School of Rock followed afterwards.
...Weirdly enough I can kind of make out the image of...something in that screenshot, but that's all the more evidence for nuking at least the screenshot. I'm unsure if Barbie Doll Anatomy counts as a trope for cases where the developers didn't put genitals on parts of the character you weren't supposed to see anyway.
Oh yeah I figured it was a texture issue, obviously not a real fox hoohah, but it was funny. Still creepy to put on the wiki though, especially with the new context of some rando's fetish.
