Obey Me! One Master to Rule Them All is a game in NTT Solmare's Shall We Date? series of otome games.
The game opens with the main character hearing a voice calling to them in their dreams, asking for their help because they're held prisoner. When they awake, they found themself in a courtroom-like space, where they are introduced to Lord Diavolo, the next-in-line Demon King of the Devildom, the land of demons. He tells them that they were one of two humans chosen for an exchange program to foster a better understanding between demons, humans, and angels. He then introduces them to the head of Student Council at the demon's academy they'll be attending, Lucifer, who informs them that they will be living in the Devildom for a year as an exchange student at RAD. He appoints his brother Mammon as their guardian, and they move into the dorm where Lucifer and his six brothers live. From there, the protagonist must make pacts with each brother, a bond where they're able to command the demons to do as they say, in order to discover the secrets of the seven highest-ranked demons of the Devildom.
Obey Me! is less of a traditional otome Visual Novel and more of a cross between this and a card-based RPG, where tasks are completed by obtaining and leveling up cards from a gacha system called Nightmare. Story chapters are interspersed with "tasks" that the protagonist must complete during their stay. Said tasks are actually dance battles, where characters obtained through gacha are pitted against other demons in order to rank up and unlock further story chapters.
It was released with an English localization on December 12th, 2019 for Android
and iOS devices.

It was revealed during April Fool’s 2021 that the game would be adapted into an anime. The first season was released in July that same year, followed by a second season in July 2022.
Obey Me! – One Master to Rule Them All includes the following tropes:
- Art Shift: The animated in-game sprites have a different art style than the UR and SSR cards, which are also subject to shifting art styles (as they’re drawn by multiple artists). Both styles are different from the opening as well, which is done in a more traditional anime style.
- Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: In Mammon’s side story “One Too Many Insults”, he runs away from home after his brothers assume he was trying to steal Beelzebub’s wallet. They think that he’s just throwing another fit, but they grow concerned after he doesn’t return after a few days. Mammon returns one day and overhears his brothers express guilt over teasing him and promising to look for him if he doesn’t come back. They’re quite happy to see he’s returned.
- Bland-Name Product: A couple of apps on your D.D.D. include Devilgram and Akuzon, which parody Instagram and Amazon respectively.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: If you leave your home screen on idle for too long, the guy on your screen will get bored and call out to you.Mammon: "Ya know how sometimes you're on the phone with someone and suddenly, it goes quiet? I hate that."
- But Thou Must!: There are times where you are prompted to say or do only one thing.
- Cast Full of Pretty Boys: Like other Shall We Date? games, you are surrounded by handsome men with a good portion of them fighting for your heart.
- Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Each brother has their own Color Motif that corresponds to their design.
- Console Cameo: In the game's title sequence, Levi can be seen playing what looks like a Nintendo Switch. It's also appeared in a few episodes of the anime.
- Dancing Theme: During the dance battle segments, each brother gets a stage tailored to their various motifs, which includes one of these.
- Dark World: The Devildom is like the human world, with apparently some human customs having been adopted, except that it is a land of eternal night populated entirely by demons.
- Deal with the Devil: A major part of the overarching plot is making pacts with each demon brother. So far it seems to be inverted though, with the MC able to control the demons they've made pacts with. Levi mentions early in the game that the demon gets the human's soul as a trade-off, however, and what this means for the protagonist remains to be seen.
- Death of a Child: Possibly. Though it's unclear if she really was a child when she died, Lilith's brothers certainly treated her as The Baby of the Bunch as is made clear by the way they talk about her. Like the other non-human characters, it's likely that she was thousands of years old too, though compared to her brothers she can still be this trope to them.
- Dialogue Tree: The MC usually can respond in two or three different ways to others, except when they can't.
- Diegetic Soundtrack Usage: Mammon, Satan and Asmo occasionally hum the title theme when left idle.
- Disproportionate Retribution: The punishments Lucifer doles out on Mammon can venture into this territory. It's downplayed since, being a demon and therefore hardier and longer-lived than humans, Mammon can take what he gets without any real damage. Still, the idea of Lucifer stringing him up for a thousand years is clearly met with a modicum of fear.
- Dramatic Thunder: Goes into full effect when Belphegor escapes the attic and meets with the others while they're trying to stop Lucifer from going on a rampage.
- Dude Magnet: Naturally, for an otome game. With the side characters upgraded to love interests in 2020, the MC now has 9 demons, an angel, and a sorcerer vying for their attention.
- Eldritch Location: The Devildom. It's a world ruled and inhabited by demons of unknown physical connection to the human world, although Lucifer says that one way to travel between the two is to climb "all eight levels" of the Devildom, which would apparently be too much for the protagonist's psyche to handle. It's also perpetually dark, with Asmodeus lamenting in one text message that the lack of sunlight doesn't make for fun summers like in the human world.
- Gameplay and Story Segregation: Except for a throwaway comment from Lucifer in the prologue explaining the tasks to the MC (and the player), none of the characters make any reference to the numerous dance battles they do in between story segments.
- Growling Gut: Beelzebub is the main perpetrator of this, since he’s the Avatar of Gluttony. Apparently it’s loud enough that Cerberus’s growls are mistaken for Beel’s stomach on more than one occasion.
- Haunted House: Lucifer tells the MC the story surrounding the House of Lamentation and how it got its name when the characters start mysteriously disappearing one by one. Subverted when it turns out it was a plan hatched by Satan that went awry.
- Humans Are Bastards: The murder mystery in the human world in Chapter 11, where Noah killed Grisella because she wouldn't take him on as an apprentice. Mammon lampshades this trope by saying that's just like a human.
- Belphie hates humans because they're the reason Lilith died. This is why he opposed Diavolo's exchange program and said he'd kill all humans and Diavolo if it went through.
- I Always Wanted to Say That: Satan during the murder mystery in the human world quoting his favorite detective drama.Satan: "Only one version of events is ever true!"Lucifer: "... Hey. How about you stop making that smug face while you're there in my body."
- Interface Spoiler: Belphegor is shown listed amongst his brothers from the beginning, in addition to being in the opening animation, making his identity and his lie that he’s human when you first meet in-story clear to the player from the start.
- Interspecies Romance: You are a human who can pursue a relationship with a demon or an angel. Averted if the player pursues Solomon.
- It's All My Fault: Beelzebub blames himself for Lilith's death because he chose to save Belphegor, even though saving either one would have meant sacrificing the other.
- Lampshade Hanging: This exchange between Mammon and Beel, when the party is about to face Cerberus a second time:Mammon: "Yo, Beel. I'm tryin' to have a badass moment here, but you're ruinin' it with your growling stomach. Keep it down, will ya?!"Beelzebub: "That's not my stomach. And come to think of it, I feel like this isn't the first time we've had this conversation..."
- Large Ham: Mammon is the worst perpetrator of this, being boisterous, scheming, and referring to himself as Mammon-sama, or the Great Mammon in English. Levi and Asmodeus can show signs of this as well, when they’re either geeking out or gushing about themselves, respectively.
- Leaning on the Fourth Wall: You can set one of the brothers as your main home screen character, and they’ll sometimes address the time of day, or notifications you have, and even have special dialogue when you haven’t interacted with the screen in some time.
- Limited Wardrobe: Originally the main cast (sans the main character) only had three or fewer outfits that they’re always seen in: their RAD uniforms, casual attire and demon looks. But over time more outfits are gradually being added through the various events.
- Mayfly–December Romance: You and your selected love interest, who is thousands of years older than you.
- Microtransactions: Like the previous games, you can pay actual money to obtain certain features for the game. You can purchase in-game currency, reload your energy for battle mini-games, or purchase items for your selected guy to boost your intimacy level with him.
- Minigame: The dance battles are effectively this, with each win netting you more Grimm, items for leveling up cards, EXP, and intimacy with one of the guys.
- Mood Whiplash: An especially grievous one in Chapter 12, when the MC is alone with Lucifer and decides to finally broach the subject of Belphegor. Lucifer, who had only moments before been opening up to the protagonist about how he and his brothers are changing for the better because of them, then immediately flies into such a rage that he turns into his true form and would have killed or seriously hurt the MC before the others rush in to break it up.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: After Belphegor is freed from the attic and the MC flees with him and Beelzebub to Purgatory Hall, they’re met by Diavolo and Barbatos, who inform them that Lucifer hid Belphie away and lied about his whereabouts so that Diavolo wouldn’t put him in chains for treason. Belphie is then carted away again just after being freed.
- Not Blood Siblings:
- Asmodeus's brothers aren't exempt from his flirtations (especially not Beelzebub), though none of them take him up on his numerous offers. As Fallen Angels-turned-demons originally created by God, they aren't actually related, although with Asmo being the Avatar of Lust whether a blood tie would stop him is up for debate.
- A variation occurs when it's revealed that the MC is the distant descendant of the brothers' deceased youngest sister, Lilith. With Lilith having been an angel and therefore similarly unrelated to the brothers, the MC being descended from her human reincarnation, and centuries having passed since Lilith's human life naturally ended, the brothers are nothing but overjoyed by the revelation and continue to pursue the MC as Love Interests.
- Portal Picture: A witch Asmodeus seduced was turned into a portrait in Diavolo’s castle, and she gets her revenge on Asmo by using her picture to transport him, Solomon, Leviathan, Mammon, Beelzebub, and the MC to the underground tunnels beneath the castle.
- Power Glows: Demons will glow with a purple aura when they’re especially angry. Whenever this happens to Lucifer, it’s best to get as far away as possible.
- Pretty Boy: Asmodeus cultivates his Pretty Boy image.
- Really 700 Years Old: While the angels and demons don't look like it, they're actually thousands of years old. When you first meet Leviathan, he demands that Mammon pay back the money he took over two hundred years ago.
- Running Gag
- One of the characters joking about Luke being short.
- Lucifer beating up Mammon for being careless and/or causing him trouble.Lucifer: MAMMMMOOOOON.
- Beel eating increasingly large portions of food that should not be physically possible.
- Seven Deadly Sins: Each brother is an Avatar of one, which informs aspects of their personalities.
- Show Within a Show: Levi’s favorite anime series The Tale of the Seven Lords is this.
- Spin-Off: There are side stories you can read under the "Devilgram" app for one or multiple brothers. You need certain cards and story keys in order to read them, though.
- Spoiler Opening: Both the opening animation and the game’s start page spoil that the boy in the attic is Belphegor before he even shows up in the story.
- Summon Magic: After a pact is formed, Solomon and the MC are capable of using this to summon their demon to them on a moment’s notice.
- Super Move Portrait Attack: Once you tap on their chibi sprite during dances, each card has a Time Stands Still cut-in before using the card’s individual skill.
- Threshold Guardians: Each chapter ends with a boss dance battle against one of the brothers in his demon form before the next chapter can be unlocked. The only real difference from normal is bosses are longer and include a stage change.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Each brother has a specific food you can buy that increases their affection for you when you give it to them after a battle. Sometimes, you can give them other food.
- Unique Protagonist Asset: After Solomon lends the MC his powers, it leads to everyone realizing that their hidden magical ability is actually stronger than Solomon’s.
- Vacation Episode: Downplayed with the trip to the human world, where the MC, Lucifer, Satan, and Mammon arrive to reverse the curse that caused Satan and Lucifer to switch bodies. Lucifer even corrects Diavolo when he calls it a vacation, despite having fun and buying souvenirs.
- Victory Quote: When a Surprise Guest shows up after getting a three-star battle, they have a handful of these to tell you. Eventually, they’ll add in a high five if their level is high enough.
- Virtual Paper Doll: Over time, different outfits are released you can dress up the seven brothers with. All but one obtained through certain cards, while the one is obtained by trading in ravens. You can also change your background, obtaining them through cards, events, or quests.
