    Title Sequence

    Prologue
  • Regarding the events of the past:
    • Emperor Belos saw how off Lilith is due to her overworking (unaware that it's because of causing Camila's death), so he allowed her to take some time off to recuperate.
    • It may be part of Odalia's plan for Lilith to come babysit her children to ensure her becoming Amity's mentor/godmother to give her a good future, but she did at least trust her enough to do it.
    • With all the wallowing in guilt she's been doing after the accident, all it takes for Lilith to be reassured that everything will be okay is seeing baby Amity look at her, which makes her smile.
  • In the present Lilith knows it'll take time to adjust to her new living arrangements but quickly begins to wonder how Amity's doing. She still believes things will be okay as long as she can make peace with her goddaughter.

    Chapter 41: Recovering
  • Luz and Eda waste no time revealing to King, Amity and Lilith what they learned about Luz's condition along with Belos' true intentions.
    • After mentioning losing the portal, Luz laments over losing contact with her friends and stepfamily in Gravity Falls, notably saying she even misses Mabel despite not knowing her for long.
    • Lilith starts being down on herself when she says losing her magic means she's finally paying for cursing Eda after all those years. Eda has none of it and says what matters is they're alive.
  • Luz is quick to comfort Amity when she starts getting angry over Puck's death.
  • The entire Blight family is relieved to know Amity's alright after worrying over her, with Odalia deciding it's safer if she stays at the Owl House while she does damage control (with Odalia admitting Eda's the most responsible adult she can trust to keep Amity safe) and Alador telling her they'll send some of her belongings there.
  • Doubling as a moment of funny, Hunter introducing himself to the other Blights as Edric's boyfriend. This leads to Ed pulling him into a kiss once they're alone.
  • Principal Bump and Ms. Traveler both allow Luz and Amity to take a week off school so they can recover while the two adults take care of things at Hexside, assuring the girls they'll still be students there.
  • Ms. Traveler deciding to tell Oberon about what happened to Puck and Kitsuni about Anu Bist.
  • When Lilith gets a call from Steve she tells him to cease contact with her, not wanting him to be punished for staying loyal to her. She thanks him for his service and his friendship before hanging up.
  • Willow, Gus, Skara, Bo and the multi-trackers come to check on the girls after what happened (with Skara and Bo bringing Amity's stuff that Emira gave them to deliver). Willow and Gus proceed to pull Luz into a hug, then the former and Skara do the same to Amity. The girls proceed to explain everything (minus their info on Belos) to them.
    • Unlike Amelia and Cat's parents, Skara's are more sympathetic and don't forbid their daughter from seeing Amity.
    • Skara informs Amity about her ending her friendship with Boscha, saying she wants to have friends she thinks will help her be a better which includes Amity, who admits Skara's a better friend than she or Boscha deserved.
    • Pulling Willow aside for a talk alone, Luz apologizes for getting so caught up in her own drama that she unintentionally ignored her. Willow doesn't hold it against her since she had her own things going on; this gets Luz bringing up her feelings for Skara to which she encourages Willow to ask the bard out if she thinks she's into her.
    • Luz then apologizes to Gus for not telling him about the darker history of humankind, but he isn't mad at her about that and tells her he'd never be afraid of her.
    • Awkwardness aside, Luz and Amity reaffirm to everyone their decision to look out for each other regardless of their breakup and want to move forward hoping things work out.
    • Before everyone leaves, Luz asks Willow to keep an eye on Gus for her.
  • When Hooty learns the truth about Puck, Luz comforts him and has a memorial in the fae's honor.
    • Along with Hooty and the girls, King pays his respects for Puck for helping his family despite their initial conflict.
    • Luz decides to forgive him for his last stunt and apologizes for not doing it sooner.
    • When Amity starts diverging into declaring her newfound hatred for Belos for killing Puck as well as his other acts of cruelty, Luz pulls her into a hug from behind.
  • Hunter offering his condolences to the girls for Puck's demise, then telling them about him and Edric. Luz inviting him to stay for dinner counts, too.

    Chapter 42: Family Group Therapy
  • To keep in touch with Luz, Dipper makes a deal with Bill Cipher to have him deliver mental messages between them. Big risk considering it's Bill (although Dipper doesn't know the truth about him yet), but it proves he'd find a way to keep in touch with her. Luz later makes sure to tell Eda and King about the deal.
  • The fact that Luz gave her room to Amity while she slept in the basement. And after Amity has a nightmare, Luz agrees to stay with her as long as she needs.
  • Hooty makes cocoa with a Latte art-style cream cat face for a tired Amity (who just rebuffed Lilith's attempt to check on her); she takes it and pats his head as thanks.
  • A flashback shows Eda comforting Luz about her round ears and telling her she can be the greatest witch of both worlds with them.
  • Boscha bringing Tom food: in return, he gets her to see why she lost her friends after hearing her explanations on the subject. And when Boscha asks how his parents died, she sees how uncomfortable he is and drops it.
  • Luz and Raine bonding with Raine encouraging Luz's dream of being the greatest witch in both the human and demon realms.
    • Eda then pulls Raine aside to thank her for saving them at the conformatorium (having figured it out from recognizing their violin) and tells them everything about Luz and Belos being cambions and Lilith cursing her.
  • Seeing Gus get picked on by Horace, Mattholomule sticks up for him and gets Horace to back off. He gives Gus an apology for what happened at the petrification ceremony and asks him to bring him up to speed.
    • When Gus sees Matt's arm in a cast, he's quick to note how worried Bo must've been when she saw it. Matt agrees.
  • Amelia and Cat, refusing to accept their parents' orders to stay away from Amity, attempt to sneak to the Owl House to see her. They get caught but they still stand by their decision and tell off their parents for siding with Nicole.
    • Cat's the more emotional of the two over everything that happened to Amity, saying she didn't deserve any of what she's gone through. It proves that just like Skara, they both saw Amity as a real friend, too.
    • Cat also mentions how much she misses being in the H.A.S. Remember, Simon's part of the club, too...
  • After learning about Anu Bist's current condition from Ms. Traveler, Kitsuni is shown to have become the sub for the detention track until he returns.
  • At Raine's suggestion, the residents of the Owl House have a group therapy session to ease the tension between them. They all apologize to each other for the secrets they kept with Raine saying bad choices can lead to good ones and they can all learn from their mistakes in order to move forward.
    • Lilith believes it'd be better if she left so she can't cause anymore trouble for everyone. Eda stops her because she won't give up on their sisterhood. Then Amity tells her that her feelings don't change the fact that she's just a guest in the home of Lilith's family, who want her to stay.
    • In regards to Luz's cambion state, Eda promises she'll never stop loving her and that they'll figure it out together.
    • Adding to Raine's "bad choices, good choices" statement, Amity states that had Lilith not blackmailed Odalia, she and Luz wouldn't have remained friends.
    • While Lilith chooses to keep Amity in the dark about Odalia giving her the idea to curse Eda, it's because she doesn't want to create a rift between the two.
  • Raine extends membership for the B.A.T.T.'s to both Clawthorne sisters, who will keep it in mind.
  • The chapter ends on Luz having a nightmare, and Amity (who couldn't sleep) checking on her before agreeing to spend the night with Luz, falling asleep together in the same sleeping bag.
    • Plus, it means Amity's repaying Luz for all those times the human comforted her.

    Chapter 43: Unemployment Filing
  • Although Amity was just fired from her job at the library, she notes that Malphas, the Master Librarian didn't want to let her go: he had no choice but to do so.
  • To raise money to keep food on the table;
    • Luz takes on the job to find a lost dog for some kids and not just for the million snails, but also because she hates seeing kids cry.
    • Amity decides to work on the Thians' fishing boat. This way, she can pay off her personal debt to Levi for his mugging. The adults allow it so long as King watches over her.
    • Eda meets with Larry, showing that they're still close, and he gives her a job as an anonymous tipster for reporting crimes to the Emperor's Coven which will help in protecting civilians.
  • Amity chooses to tell Levi about her mugging, and he tells her he can't blame her for his.
  • His abrasive attitude aside towards Amity aside, Capt. Goonla prioritizes hers and King's safety alongside his children when Captain Hook attacks their ship.
  • As it turns out, Levi and his father have been running a smuggling operation to help wild witches escape Belos' grasp by getting them out of the Boiling Isles so they can start new lives. Levi didn't think Amity would agree with this, but her learning about the Emperor's true colors means she's more than happy to help them by distracting Hook.
    • In return, Goonla saves Amity when she and King are surrounded by Hook's crew.
    • And after getting the wild witches to the trade off, Amity waves back at a little girl waving to her, glad she finally started doing the right thing.
  • Before returning to the Underworld with Pain, Panic and Spot, Hades apologizes to Luz for his minions getting her to do their work and gives her a token as payment. Though she takes it as him being a cheap skate.

    Chapter 44: Blindsided
  • The girls return to Hexside and are welcomed back by their friends.
    • Kitsuni talks to Luz and informs her that Anu Bist is okay and will recover from his injuries.
    • Amelia and Cat, then Edric and Emira, pull Amity into a hug relieved to see her. Willow and Skara do the same with both girls.
    • The multi-trackers made them a "welcome back" banner.
  • Luz takes the blame for getting her friends expelled along with herself, but Willow and Amity assure her they're in this together.
  • To get Luz, Amity, Willow and Gus re-admitted into Hexside, Skara enlists the multi-trackers, the twins, Bo, Amelia and Cat to help her get 300 signatures to repeal their expulsion.
  • As Odalia points out, Eda is close to the parents of her daughter's friends. Surprisingly, she also admits there's other parents who respect Eda more than her. Doubles as Funny due to the immediate ego boost it gives Eda.
  • Everyone who signed the petitions besides the above mentioned kids, showing how much they want to help.
    • Prof. Snope signs because he feels indebted to the Blights from when he worked at their company.
    • Simon gets all of his workout buddies (all of whom are friends with Willow, too) to support it, all of them shocked that Willow got expelled. Bo is surprised Willow's got so many other friends.
    • Tyler ends up being one of these people. He's found a way to make up for helping Boscha.
    • Ms. Traveler points the petitioners to people who'd be happy to sign, including the library's house elves who wanna repay Luz for getting them a raise. "For Luz!", indeed.
    • It's later noted that even Principal Bump signed.
  • Apparently, Perry told Gus what happened to his mother. He knows his son is more upset than he's letting on and tries to reach out to him. At the very least, Gus doesn't blame him for what happened and understands how difficult it was for him to talk about.
  • While at the Park residence, Amity (still feeling guilty about how things between her and Willow first ended) is assured by Willow's fathers that they know the full story now and are glad the girls are friends again.
    • As it turns out, Sully convinced Gilbert not to throw out Willow's photo album detailing her friendship with Amity believing Willow would want to see it again one day to remember the happy times that came with it.
  • Unlike all the other students, Simon refuses to just shun Boscha. While he isn't sure how he feels about her right now, he won't just give up on her either, and she appreciates this...
    • ...and it's what convinces her to sign the last open spot on the petition, getting the girls and Gus back into school. Boscha just took her first steps to becoming a better person. She admits to Tom later that she wanted to make up for kickstarting the domino effect that nearly got Luz and Eda killed. As Tom states, there's hope for her yet.
  • The hug the twins give Amity after the expulsion is lifted, plus the one Willow pulls Skara into.
  • Another Mama Bear moment is provided by Mattholomule's mother, Sandra, who threatens to flay Nicole for letting Boscha mess with her son.
  • Odalia and Alador rallied several parents together to help get Nicole kicked out of the PCA, complete with character testemonies. Odalia wasn't kidding when she said she'd make Nicole pay for humiliating Amity.
    • Athena sides with them, agreeing with what Odalia said since she knows Nicole's stunt hurt Boscha just as much.
  • Before Athena takes Nicole home, she and Eda exchange apologies for letting things between their families get so out of hand.
  • Despite the risk, Luz sneaks Amity into Blight Industries' private weapons sale so she can talk to her family.
  • Manipulating Luz into ending her friendship with Amity aside, Odalia's willing to let her daughter keep being friends with Willow especially since they're both friends with Skara and she knows about Skara's crush on Willow.

    Chapter 45: Stranger Danger
  • After comforting Amity about Phil, Luz informs her of what Odalia said to her about ending their friendship (showing them being completely honest with each other) and Amity says she'll deal with her mother, refusing to go through losing her best friend because of her again.
  • Gilbert and Sully are quick to give Willow advice on how she can ask Skara to go out with her, using how they got together as an example.
  • Mirroring Luz and Amity asking each other out in "Knock, Knock, Knockin' on Hooty's Door", Willow and Skara become an Official Couple the same way: after a brief talk, Willow attempts to ask Skara if she wants to be her girlfriend, only for the bard to beat her to it. She realizes this and retracts the question (just like Amity did) to let Willow have a do-over. After Willow asks, Skara quickly agrees and the two are met with congratulations by Luz, Amity, Amelia and Cat who were watching the whole thing. The two girls proceed to hold hands, admitting it feels weird but they'll get used to it.
  • Tom does a lot to comfort Boscha: he tells her about Pleasure Island so she can get away from her arguing parents for the night (to which she invites him to join her on the spot), hugs her while she's upset over seeing Skara become Willow's girlfriend and encourages her to be brave enough to help the kids that have been captured and turned into donkeys.
    • Boscha only frees Skara so she can help the rest of the kids. That's how much she cares about her.
  • Kitsuni helping save the kids and end the Coachman's reign of terror once and for all.
  • As part of their recovery process, Eda and Lilith decide to compete in a Hexes Hold'em tournament to bond. When they learn what happened on Pleasure Island, they don't hesitate to forfeit the final round in order to get there as fast as they can to check on their kids.
  • Edric and Emira calling Amity a badass for saving them. Means a lot more in Em's case after teasing her sister and her ex-girlfriend.
  • Zebra and Swan, having learned from their talk with Ms. Traveler, thank the girls for saving their daughter and offer to heal their injuries. And along with the Regals and all the other parents, they stand up to Nicole when she tries to stop them and warn her to stay away from their kids.
  • With the chaos of the night behind them and having a moment alone, Luz confesses that she still has feelings for Amity and wants to get back together so they can stay in each other's lives. Amity doesn't take more than a second to say the same and they share a kiss, signifying the renewal of their relationship.
    • Nearby, Eda and Lilith agree abandoning the tournament was worth seeing the girls make up. Willow and Skara voice their own happiness for them while holding hands.
  • In killing the Coachman, Luz, Amity, Boscha, Tom, and Kitsuni (with the aid of the Baron) avenged all the children he wronged, allowing their spirits to finally rest in peace. One of said spirits is Lampwick: bad as he was, it's honestly comforting to see him finally recieve his happy ending.

    Chapter 46: Escape
  • Not a day after saving everyone, Amelia and Cat's parents are allowing them to spend time with Luz and Amity, so the four waste no time in making plans with each other. The latter two also exchange how Luz is trying to get to know them better and Amity wants to start being a better friend to them.
  • The second Willow hears Skara's sick (not knowing she's faking it), she quickly goes into "girlfriend mode" and heads to her house to make her soup. Skara thinks Willow's an "awesome girlfriend" and considers telling her about her condition.
    • And to make it seem convincing, Skara asks Scabrina to help her look sick, and she just gives her a potion no questions asked. While Scabrina does it to get her big sister out of her hair, Skara makes sure to say she loves her for helping.
    • Skara's parents offering to help Willow make the soup once they're brought up to speed.
  • While on a date at the aquarium, Edric comforts Hunter over what happened on Pleasure Island, telling him to enjoy the moment rather than worry about the future before sharing a kiss.
  • After Tom's public Freak Out, Boscha saves him and decides to hide him in her attic so he won't get arrested. She's not going to lose the Only Friend she has right now.
  • Luz grew out her hair because she wanted it to look like Eda, since her mother is her idol. But remembering Eda's advice about being her own witch, Luz allows Cat to give her a haircut... and she loves how it turns out.
    • While Cat does her thing, Amity tells Amelia about her first date with Luz in the human world, sparking Amelia's interest in visiting. They proceed to talk about Amelia's love life (and her recent feelings for Gus) before Amity asks her to dye her hair for her.
    • Seeing Luz and Amity having a moment, Amelia and Cat (both thinking about how adorable the two are) decide to give them some time alone, Amity initiating a kiss between her and Luz as soon as they're gone.
  • Apparently, Philip Wittebane was friends with Eclipsa Butterfly and they encouraged each other's dreams of establishing peace in their worlds.
  • It's only been one day since they got back together, but Luz and Amity are already comfortable enough to sleep together in Luz's room, to the point of sharing the bed.

Chapter 47: The Book of King
  • It's sweet seeing just how much Luz admired King when she was younger.
  • Eda told Luz the truth about her meeting with King when she asked about it, trusting her to keep it between them: Luz managed to keep that secret for seven years before deciding they should tell him the truth.
    • Luz went along with it because she didn't want to hurt his feelings like Eda, declaring that he'll always be a king to her.
    • After King admits he overheard them, he says he kept going along with it because he felt special because of what Luz said.
  • After Skara's disappearance, Luz mentions Eda has a friend looking into it to Willow, she and Amity assuring their friend they'll find her girlfriend.
  • Amity is quick to scold Lilith and Hooty for mocking King, and agrees to look into if he's really the King of Demons all because she promised Luz she'd watch him while Luz went hunting with Eda.
    • The reason Amity's doing this is because she wants to give him the benefit of the doubt, regardless of Lilith's biases.
  • All it takes for Amity to tell Luz she'll never be disappointed in her is to take Luz's hand to reassure her.
  • All in all, the whole adventure ends up bringing King and Amity closer together, since she also promises to help him find his family and promised she'd read him "Beauty and the Beast".
  • Luz supporting King's decision to start calling Eda "mom".
Luz: I think she'd like it. You are just as much her kid as I am.

Chapter 48: I Was a Teenage Adult Witch
  • A lot of people have been working overtime to find Skara: Eda and Lilith have been trying to track her, Mewstic is using her podcast to get the word out, Jerbo's parents have been setting up search parties and Perry's using his work resources.
  • Hanging out on the school's roof to avoid the assembly on Fae awareness, Luz and Amity talk about how things would've been had they introduced Puck to the rest of their friends and open up on when they first came out after discovering their first crushes on girls.
    • Amity also supports and encourages Luz to start seeing Ms. Traveler for counseling to figure out why her cambion powers are acting up. Ms. Traveler is able to comfort her by assuring her that regardless of her species, she is who she wants to be.
  • Willow asks Boscha for possible clues as to where Skara could be since she knew her longer than Willow did, saying anything's useful. Boscha agrees and tells her to try the old witch's cemetery where her ancestors are buried.
  • After blurting out Lilith cursed Eda to the now-teenaged Clawthornes, Adult!Luz checks up on Lilith to apologize, saying she doesn't hate her because Eda chose to give Lilith a second chance as well as comforting her when she cries over learning she broke up with Odalia.
  • While comforting Eda and explaining how Lilith took half of her curse, Adult!Amity shares how Lilith hurt her too and they'll have to learn to forgive her when it's time. When Eda questions why Amity's being nice to her, the Blight says she's repaying Eda's kindness and help with her problems to her.
  • Willow trying to calm Skara (her inner wolf) down enough to let her try and help her, which culminates in her saving Boscha from the werewolf.
  • Adult!Amity ends up having a conversation with Odalia where the Blight matriarch admits she blames herself for her daughter's current situation than she does Amity. She goes on to say she wants to have a better relationship with her children than she did with her parents.
  • Luz and Amity agree to make the most of possibly being stuck as adults raising the Clawthornes if they can't figure out their life lessons.
  • Willow encourages teen!Eda to forgive Lilith for cursing her by using her fallout and reconciliation with Amity as an example, saying Lilith does regret it and Eda has the choice to do so.
  • Amity forgiving Skara for what happened with the memory incident.
Skara, what happened wasn't your fault. What happened at the photo lab was an accident. I don't care if you're accidentally responsible for the bad things that happened to me. I know that you didn't mean to intentionally hurt me, I know that you feel bad for it, and I know that you don't deserve anything bad to happen to you. (reaches out, pets her head) I just… I just want my friend back.
    • Luz and Amity protecting Skara from the Demon Hunters is this in spades.
  • The Shadowy Secret Expozers were hired by Mr. Brooke to track the werewolf and figured out the truth: they agree to keep it secret and cover it up, saying Skara isn't the first client they had to protect.
  • Calypso going Mama Bear on Nicole for threatening her daughter (and sober, no less!)
  • Everyone learning their life lessons which turns them back to normal: Teen Eda forgives Lilith for cursing her (Eda not wanting to let their past define the future of their relationship while Lilith admits her decision wasn't worth losing her sister/best friend), Luz shows a greater appreciation for what Eda went through raising her and Amity decides to start opening up to Lilith again.
  • Skara's parents understand why she hid her condition from them and tell her what matters now is she's safe. Then Scabrina (in a rare moment of concern) hugs her sister, vowing to make sure nobody takes her again. Skara tears up from appreciation to her little sister.

    Chapter 49: Grandmother Knows Best
  • When Luz was three, she made a drawing of her whole family (her, Eda, King, Owlbert and even Hooty). Eda's revealed to have kept it to this day within her nest.
  • Because of her vow last chapter, Amity starts being considerate towards Lilith by voicing her support in seeing her through adjusting to the owl curse. Lilith's smile says it all.
  • Barcus, Eve and Celine try to help Luz with making a portal to the human realm.
  • Skara's visited by Willow, Luz Amity, Viney, Bo, Amelia and Cat while recovering at home following the werewolf incident: when her father tries to explain their condition to the former three, Skara demands he tell all her friends, trusting them to keep it a secret.
    • Calypso joined the Beastkeeping Coven so she could negotiate with Eberwolf to be lenient in order to protect her family.
    • Skara ultimately decides to mix-track in Bard and Beastkeeping (an idea Viney quickly jumps onboard with) to learn how to control her condition: Luz decides to accompany her so she won't feel alone.
  • On a side note, Lilith is revealed to have informed the residents of the Owl House that she's Amity's godmother as part of their pact to be honest with each other.
  • Amity and Lilith each take the time to stand up for Luz in regards to Gwen's insensitivity and thoughtlessness causing her to disregard Luz as a person.
    • Amity gives Gwen a good lecture not just for ignoring Luz, but King and especially Lilith since they're her family, too. This gets through to Gwen and she comes to regret her actions.
    • After a talk with Eda, Lilith admits she knows precisely what Luz had to experience putting up with Gwen ignoring her and reassures Luz she has the rest of her family to support her, including her. Luz hugs Lilith as thanks, glad to call her family.
  • Having accepted her mistakes, Gwen convinces Luz to let her help cure the rampaging Eda and Lilith. What really sells her conviction is finally addressing Luz by name and acknowledging her as her granddaughter.
  • Larry keeps the other coven guards from pursuing the Clawthorne sisters by telling them to get the citizens to safety.
  • Willow leading the Roaring Rampage of Revenge on Dolly for hurting Luz, Amity and especially Skara and even Boscha earns a spot as both this and as a moment of Awesome.
  • As a way of making good on starting over, Luz invites Gwen to stay for dinner (and it doubles as the first dinner in 30 years that Eda, Lilith and Gwen had together), and Gwen allows her and King to call her "Gwendma", thanks Amity for setting her straight and begins contemplating a possible adventure with Luz.
    • Gwen offers Lilith the chance to return home with her to make up for lost time with her and her Dell. Rather than take it, Lilith decides to stay, saying she's needed in the Owl House while looking at her niece and goddaughter (and noting how heartbroken Hooty would be if she did leave).
  • Upon receiving a letter from her paternal grandparents asking to meet with her so they can finally get to know her, Amity spends a good part of the chapter wondering if she should reach out to them. After seeing Gwen start to mend her relationship with Luz, she decides to give them a chance.

    Chapter 50: Breaking Ties
  • Gwendolyn, having learned Luz is going to start studying Beast Keeping in school, decides to take her on a hydra hunt to help her gain experience. During their time together, they bond over their excursions in the Eclipse Escape Dungeon, Gwen gives her the idea of finding dimensional scissors to travel to the Human Realm and she answers her questions about the Savage Ages while teaching her the ins and outs of Beast Keeping magic.
  • Upon hearing Eda's planning on meeting up with Raine, Gwen excitedly asks if she's proposing to them. Seems she's held out hope that they'll get together again.
  • King accompanies Amity on her trip to meet Arthur and Destiny, who seem to want to give her as much attention as possible. At least at first...
  • Odalia and Alador take the time to check up on Slasher and Calypso (who's decided to overcome her drinking problem by joining a support group and switching to a tea provided by Willow) regarding Skara's recent abduction. The Brookes use the chance to advise the Blights about their daughters' encounters with the Inner Demon.
  • Another doubles-as-awesome moment from Willow: she tells off Alador and Odalia for what they did to her and Amity which they understand and respect her for.
  • Odalia's flashback to when Amity revealed her mugging to her and Alador shows that instead of getting angry, she became concerned about her daughter and pulled her into a hug, promising she'll be here for her.
  • As a stray thought, Luz now considers Amelia and Cat her friends.
  • While exchanging info during their meeting, Eda tells Raine that King called her "mom", getting sentimental about being a foster mom with both adults saying it did wonders for her causing them to share a moment.
  • Odalia, while refusing to budge on her decision regarding her taking Amity home, stops Lilith from talking down on herself and says she appreciates what she and Eda have done for her daughter.
  • Lilith, Odalia and Alador working together to rescue Amity and King from Arthur and Destiny.
  • After Amity declares herself nameless and runs off in fear after leveling her grandparents' factory, Lilith comforts and tells her she's not responsible for Odalia's actions and that Eda and Luz will understand what happened as much as she does, promising they'll help her learn the reason behind her power increase.
    • Before this, Alador stops Odalia from going after Amity and sends Lilith and King to find her.
    • Upon making her promise, Amity hugs Lilith and asks if she can bring her home, meaning she now accepts the Owl House as such.
    • True to Lilith's word, Luz and Eda don't hold Odalia's actions against Amity and pull her into a hug. Luz also tells Amity they'll spring Edric and Emira from Blight Manor if she wants.

    Chapter 51: A Surprising Visitor
  • To convince Luz she's real, Camila notes everything she said to describe her friends at the séance: with this Luz embraces her and Camila comforts her as she cries, not breaking the hug when Gwen introduces herself.
    • Tensions aside, Camila is quick to comfort Luz upon learning she's not human anymore saying she's still her daughter and though she's not human either, it's not going to stop her from having the opportunity to love Luz and be part of her life again.
    • Camila answers Luz's question about what happened to her father and when Luz sees how bothered by it Camila is, she stops her. Camila does promise to explain it to her one day.
  • All of Alador's older siblings were shown to be very caring and supportive towards him when his parents weren't, and he vows to cure them of their mutations going as far as to ask Coven Head Darius for help. His rival agrees to aid in the long task ahead of them.
  • Luz and Amity make it a priority to inform all their friends of everything that happened. Skara, Amelia and Cat's support towards Amity has her accept them as true friends and although they deny having anyone over, it was still sweet of Willow to offer, not to mention pass everything on to Gus.
  • Having heard everything through the bug, Emperor Belos decides to let the Nocedas enjoy their reunion, saying they deserve that much.
  • Emira, no longer able to stand living at Blight Manor with their parents hardly around and Amity never coming back, proposes the twins go stay with their Uncle Geist until they graduate. Edric is hesitant at first and Em gives him the choice to stay, but Ed decides to go with her. When Geist sees them turn up at his bar, he welcomes "Emmy and Eddie" and is quick to hear them out.
  • Gwendolyn chooses to leave the Owl House because of everything going on but takes the time to say goodbye to her family, thanks Amity for setting her straight and saying she'll accomplish great things and gives Luz the tip about the human clue that can help her make a new portal.
  • Luz takes the time to check up on how Eda's taking all of these events and promises that even with Camila back, she's still Eda's kid, something Eda knows is true.

    Chapter 52: No Dancing Around
  • Boscha saves Willow from the pixies that invade the plant track homeroom, calling them even for saving her from the werewolf.
  • After learning Amity's become nameless, Principal Bump and Ms. Traveler give their condolences and agree to keep it secret and inform all her teachers to respect her privacy. Edric and Emira soon after approach her to affirm she's still their baby sister and that she's welcome to visit them and Geist whenever she wants. Amity later decides to inform Levi of her situation: that shows how much she trusts him.
    • The twins also make it a point to apologize to Luz for Odalia having a hand in Eda getting cursed, only for Luz to brush it off since she's not blaming them for it.
  • Lilith is quick to try and console Luz when she arrives at the library after her argument with Gus.
  • Malphas shows a lot of understanding and forgiveness towards others; he's quick to thank Luz for cleaning up her mess after the library incident and when she and Lilith ask him to give Amity her job back, he admits (after getting them to do his chores) that's he's happy to rehire her now that parents are grateful to her for her role in the Pleasure Island rescue.
    • Really, the fact that Luz and Lilith went through hell doing Malphas' chores just to get Amity's job back; they both believe she deserves to have at least one of the things she loves and had to give up after the petrification ceremony back.
    • And when Luz presents the reclaimed ID and give Amity the news, she's quick to kiss her as thanks.
  • Goonla has come a long way regarding his trust in Amity, as he's more than willing to share with her the story of how he cane to the demon realm.
  • Tired of Gus' stubborn attitude in refusing to move on from Amity's deception, Mattholomule stands up for her, telling Gus he understands that anger by venting about his own issues with his father and his parents' divorce, saying he came to forgive him eventually and that Gus needs to talk things out with Amity because the longer he acts the way he is now, the more he hurts Luz as a result.
  • Out of concern, Lilith asks Eda to educate Amity on what to expect if she chooses to become a wild witch. Eda takes her to the wreckage of Stan's car she salvaged (and uses to give similar talks and life lessons to Luz) and hears Amity out on her hopes and dreams to explore the human realm before explaining how she could make a better difference if she stays in the demon realm, how she has a strong support group to help her and how she has plenty of time to decide her future. Really, the whole discussion can be seen as a mother-daughter talk.
  • In a act that's half-heartwarming, half-awesome, Amity is able to calm the slitherbeast and stop it from rampaging through Bonesborough.
  • Mattholomule's only been taking Bria's abuse so she doesn't go after Bo. After revealing this to the captured Amity and Gus, they remind him he's a Hexside student now and that he's got way better friends than Bria's ever been to him and they'll protect Bo together: this is what gets him to set them free so they can help Luz and Lilith take down the Glandus trio.
  • Even though he's given a chance to hurt Amity, Gus refuses to take it since he doesn't want to stoop to that level. It's only after hearing about and encouraging Mattholomule to stand up to Bria that he opens up to Luz and Amity about his anger towards his mother and all three make up with each other.
    • Luz, in turn, opens up to Gus about Puck and how things between them turned out. She doesn't want to lose another friend that way, so she takes the chance to forgive Gus.
    • Because of everything that's happened, Gus decides to start seeing Ms. Traveler, not wanting it to happen again.

Chapter 53: Whatever Happened to Anu Bist?
  • Each of the multi-trackers get a lot of touching scenes from their home lives to their new day to day activities:
    • Viney's first shown having a quick breakfast her mother's cooked upbefore heading off for school. There, she shows herself as both a supportive girlfriend to Emira, who's still adjusting to living with her uncle and struggling with the whole Amity situation, and becomes an understanding tutor to Skara, who's just returned to school and started taking beast keeping.
    • Jerbo's mother is shown trying to sign him up for therapy in case of lingering trauma from Pleasure Island and despite being blackmailed by his little brother Porco, it's shown that they have a system for keeping secrets. Jerbo also helps Amity destress and start to get over her mental block so she can create abominations again. He soon learns that he ultimately helped save the Clawthornes by saving Puck from the Greater Basilisk .
      • Really, Prof. Snope is understanding of Amity's current predicament and doesn't hold her block against her.
    • Barcus starts every morning doing predictions in order to help people avoid disasters. Special mention goes to how often he helps Eve, who's pretty much the embodiment of bad luck.
  • Before starting their first Beast Keeping class together, Luz reassures Skara that she has her and Viney as support, teaching her to fist bump like with her other friends. When Skara realizes she said they're friends, Luz points out how she stood up for her and Amity up several times, how she treats Willow and how they're the Bard Beast Girls now, to which she happily grins.
    • Buck expands on this further by saying up until now, Skara thought Luz only tolerated her as Amity's friend or Willow's friend-turned-girlfriend, so getting confirmation that they really are friends means a lot to her.
  • Luz remembers to check up on the bandaged up Dusty since his loss to Nina Fangs and he announces he and Cutler'll bounce back while complimenting Gwendolyn's battling skills. Kitsuni notes how optimistic the boy is.
  • Speaking of Kitsuni, she's more than happy to listen to Luz's questions about who resurrected her mother along with explaining why Anu Bist had to keep the truth about her growing cambion abilities secret, saying being Luz's teacher was the best thing he picked for himself.
  • It hasn't been that long since Gus started his appointments with Ms. Traveler and he's already made substantial progress in making amends for his recent actions.
    • He apologizes to the rest of the Human Appreciation Society for not attending recent meetings and offers to show them something new as compensation, which they accept.
    • He really lays into Felicia for exposing Amity as nameless, showing how much he wants to make up for treating her with such hostility.
  • Amelia is shown to have joined the H.A.S. While it may just be out of genuine interest, there's some Fridge Brilliance here; since it's been hinted that Amelia's got a crush on Gus before, she may have joined the H.A.S. as a way of getting closer to him.
  • Everyone who's close to Amity ends up being behind her and waiting for her to say if she wants them to make mincemeat out of Felicia for outing her as nameless. It shows how they don't want to see her get as hurt as she was when Boscha messed with her again, wanting her to be happy given all the crap she's been dealt recently.
  • Once he's healed up, Anu Bist is met by Kitsuni, then his father, A. Nubis who has accepted that he cannot force his son to follow in his footsteps and accepted his desire to help mortals, having come to the Boiling Isles just so he can see him again.
  • Luz, Viney, Jerbo and Barcus decide that after everything, Amity should sign the Wall of Troublemakers, to officially accept her as one of them. As she does, she sees Puck's signature and in honor of her fallen friend, takes his last name in his memory.
  • Before leaving to start being a genie again, Anu Bist (now going by Jack) pays one last visit to his former students, with Luz pulling him into a hug as soon as she could. They part with no bad blood between them and Jack tells them he believes they'll meet again before he leaves.
    • Kitsuni promises them that she's here to stay and will be there for them if they need anything.
    • The last scene shows Jack helping his first kid the same way Genie explains things to Aladdin. That's right, they pay homage to Genie through his signature song!

    Chapter 54: Socket to Me
  • Vanz Ator is shown to be a rather honest and fair man back when he was human, a trait he lost when he was turned into a vampire and seemed to regain when he turned and adopted Katya after she lost her parents.
  • Gus, Bo and Mattholomule take the time to check in on Eileen since she's been staying home for a while. When they learn about her failed kidnapping, they tell her not to feel bad about their last club meeting since making sure she's okay takes priority.
  • After everything she's gone through so far, Lilith advises Hunter not to let his doubts about being born without magic stop him from being a witch. She's learned from her mistake with Luz and she's proud to be rediscovering herself with her real loving family.
    • Lilith also admits to Hunter that she misses Steve, having truly seen him as her only real friend in the Emperor's Coven.
  • Katya, upon seeing Luz at her father's business, takes her to meet the rest of the Bards Against the Throne where she's given a warm welcome by Amber, Derwin and Boris. Because she's a fellow rebel, they accept her as an honorary member.
    • Linked to how and why she calls Eda "Mama Eda", Amber takes to acting as Luz's honorary "Big Sis".
  • As Luz learns, Boris is actually Boscha's estranged brother and just like Amity, he became nameless because he's nicer than the rest of his family so he knows what the lilac-haired girl's going through. And the reason Boris joined the BATT's was to honor his aunt Delara, Simon's mother, who inspired him after she fought against the coven system.
  • Gus heads to the Owl House to inform Luz about Eileen's kidnapping but since she's not there, he passes it on to Eda who offers to take him home as a precaution. Instead, Gus ends up staying upon meeting Camila and respectfully asks her if he can ask some questions about her life in the human realm, which she accepts as a chance to spend time with another of Luz's friends.
  • Mattholomule accompanies Bo home just in case someone from Glandus decides to attack her. Paranoid or not, he's willing to face them again to protect her.
  • Bo turns out to have three parents, all in a polyamorous relationship with an equal amount of love between them for each other and for Bo.
  • After all the drama they've endured, Luz decides to take Amity out on a normal date. At the BATT's suggestion, they go see an orchestra Raine's performing in. The show allows them to see a beautiful showing of a bat woman and a sculptor falling in love after being enemies for so long that leaves them both tearing up, giving them a memory they'll cherish for the rest of their lives.
    • Showing a Pet the Dog act of sympathy beforehand, Darius leaves Luz and Amity alone to enjoy their date instead of trying to capture them.
  • At Tom's encouragement, Boscha decides to meet with Boris. While hesitant at first, she goes through with it to lash out at him for leaving her at Nicole's mercy. When she bursts into tears, he pulls her into a hug and leads her inside, calling her Chaka like when they were kids.
    • Contrary to Boscha's belief, Boris doesn't hate or think less of her; he gives her his support like he always does, comforting her about her scar and telling her he'll always be proud of her and be there when she needs it, showing off all the articles reporting the Banshees' past victories on all the walls of his shop.
    • There's also the fact that Athena (the most likely of the parents) hid Boris' favorite records in the Heiron's attic. She didn't want to get rid of something belonging to her son.
  • After the performance, Luz comes to Raine for advice on figuring out one's identity. Using the experience from coming out, Raine tells Luz she already has what they had to help them; support from family and friends who love her inside and out.
  • In the end, despite enjoying their date but finding it not as exciting as their past ones, Luz and Amity decide to compromise by finding a balance between normal and exciting but agree them having fun together will make it worthwhile.

    Chapter 55: Deserve Nothing
  • After hearing about the first Golden Guard (who he believes is his father) from Lilith, Hunter asks Darius about him as well as his mother. He remembers the former fondly before asking Hunter if he's okay, showing concern over the boy's mental health and deciding to talk to Belos about it.
  • Hunter pays Edric a visit to see how he's adjusting to living with Geist. It's also for self-reassurance, to remind him he cares a lot about him.
  • According to a flashback, Hunter's father was the previous Golden Guard and when he seemed to doubt he was worthy to inherit the title, Belos confessed he felt the same way when he became the Emperor in order to give him the confidence to accept it.
  • Seeing Eda's state after she wakes up from her nightmare, Lilith offers to supervise Palisman Adoption Day for her. It's waved off, but her concern is sweet, as is Ms. Traveler's when she sees Eda.
  • Skara only attends the adoption event to see Willow and their friends get their palisman. She, on the other hand, will be carving hers together with her father, who bought a log of palistrom wood for the occasion.
  • The dreams of students who weren't canon are rather touching:
    • Simon's deepest desire is to become as strong a witch as his father and he requests that his palisman share said desire. Upon bonding with Flint, a demon squirrel, he states it's an honor to have him.
    • Along with opening a veterinary clinic, Viney wishes to help anyone with inner beasts learn to control them, clearly inspired by helping the Bard Beast Girls with their conditions.
    • Amelia wishes to modernize the the Boiling Isles' justice system based on what she learned about the human realm's. Her time in the H.A.S. is really doing wonders for her.
    • Skara's Character Development has led her to decide that in addition to becoming a renounced bard and controlling her wolf side, she wants to listen to her conscience more.
  • When Luz walks off after the palismen reject her, Eda goes to check on her with Ms. Traveler giving her the go-ahead.
  • Since Boscha couldn't adopt a palisman, Athena (who took the day off and anticipated this) gives her her boar palisman Hogarth, the same palisman that's been passed down through her family for the last three generations. After bonding with the little guy, Boscha gratefully gives her mother a hug who knows she's take good care of him.
    • The story behind Hogarth is one to behold; Athena's great-great-grandfather Ben and uncle Bronze came across an old carver who gave them food and in return, they liberated his village from bandits. The carver gave them two palisman, Ben a bull named Bill and Bronze Hogarth. When Bronze passed away, Ben kept Hogarth and passed him down to his son, who passed it down to Athena.
  • The first time Boscha decides to take her new staff for a joyride, she gets Tom to join her. With the fact that it's nighttime, the "Do you trust me?" moment and her reaction to him grabbing onto her to stay on the staff, you're looking at a downplayed Flight of Romance.
  • The reason why Lilith was allowed to keep her palisman Edgar when she joined the Emperor's Coven was because the previous Golden Guard allowed it, knowing what happened to her father Dell, and speaking to Belos about the matter, so long as she kept Edgar on his staff.
  • Upon waking up to find Luz left to return Flapjack, the cardinal palisman, to the nest at school, Amity wastes no time following her after finding the note she left for her.
  • Refusing to fight Luz, Hunter (as the Golden Guard) tries to restrain her so he can drop her off safely.
  • Hooty tries to comfort Camila after she has a nightmare.
  • Amity admits to Hunter that she told Lilith about her tattoo; while she could tell Lilith didn't approve of it, she still supported Amity's decision, something she appreciates.
    • Beforehand, Hunter tells Amity that Edric admitted he called her smart as she explains her plan for using the sleeping nettles, which makes her smile.
  • It only ends up setting Luz off, but Hunter mentions he made sure the Emperor's Coven wouldn't do anything to Skara after her transformation and rampage.
  • There's two bittersweet display of protectiveness near the end;
    • Amity deals the finishing blows on Hunter, slapping him for lying to Edric and punching his stomach for what he did to Lilith. For all those two did to her, she still won't stand for anyone hurting them in any way.
    • Eda and King jump to Luz's defense after the Bat Queen declares her too dangerous to ever get a palisman.
  • Amity's quick to comfort Luz each time she becomes overcome with guilt over what happened to Maya. She even chooses to stay home from school to do so, telling Luz she matters more to her when she tries to object.

    Chapter 56: Going Through Changes
  • True to her word, Amity stays in bed holding Luz to comfort her after everything that happened the previous night.
  • With Raine in danger thanks to the bug Hunter planted, Eda desperately tries to contact them. When she starts blaming herself for it happening, King, Lilith and Camila tell her she couldn't have known.
  • Emira, tapping into her Big Sister Instinct, warns Hunter to stay away from Edric. Seeing how Ed's barely keeping himself together, she tells Geist he won't go to school today and she'll be staying too to comfort him.
    • The rest of their family helps too; Geist tries to cheer Ed up by offering him ice scream and Amity comforts him in her secret hideout, which she trusts the twins to enter.
  • The flashback showing William talking to Belos about Lilith keeping her palisman highlights William's compassion towards the Clawthorne family, their family. Belos agrees to let her keep it, saying they owe the Clawthornes so much.
  • Ms. Traveler pays a house visit to the Owl House to give Luz a session regarding the previous night. She helps Luz see that the fact that she feels guilty over what happened to Maya doesn't make her a monster, that it's okay to feel remorseful and it'll take time to forgive herself.
    • Ms. Traveler also decides to help Eda with her lingering guilt over killing her first human friend, giving her the same advice she gave Luz. Eda gives her thanks and tries to extend an invite to hang out sometime, which Julia responds to by giving her a card to talk about any further issues.
    • She does the same to Boscha right before she leaves Hexside, sympathizing with her about Nicole being crazy enough to make her switch schools against her will.
  • Iago actually makes a Cameo as a tribute to the (at the time) recently late Gilbert Gottfried.
  • Before she leaves Hexside for her orientation at Glandus, Boscha apologizes to Willow and Skara for everything she did to them and asks they pass it on to Luz and Amity. She also says bye to Simon, who tells her his older brother Cain attends Glandus as well and could help her out.
  • Belos shows his present day Papa Wolf colors by demoting Kikimora for her murder attempt on Hunter, who he comforts after learning he got dumped, and taking Darius' advice on putting Hunter's mental health first by putting him in therapy under his old friend, Abel Reisender.
  • Unable to stand seeing Luz so crestfallen and thinking she's becoming like Belos, Lilith confesses to killing Camila so she knows she's not alone in regards to accidentally taking a life. Lilith fully expects Luz to hate her, but instead she chooses to forgive Lilith as unlike with Hunter, Luz can tell Lilith feels guilty about what happened. The two agree to tell everyone else when the time's right and help through their respective future hardships (Luz overcoming Maya's death, Lilith getting her soul free from the Baron's clutches) and gets Luz back on track to accessing the human realm before Belos.
    • As the two talk, Baron Samedi watches their entire conversation and is pleased that Luz took the high road and forgave Lilith.
    • Everyone in the Owl House accepts their decision to keep their heart-to-heart to themselves, saying it's up to them when they're ready to talk.
  • Upon being told to beat up Angmar as if he was Willow to assert her strength, Boscha refuses since it doesn't prove anything and she believes Willow earned her spot as Hexside's top Plant witch for not stooping to her former level while voicing her belief that things could change for the better if people stopped believing the Emperor's Coven's creed of "Might Makes Right." Even if it gets her beaten up, she shows how far she's evolved from the petty witch she was last season.
  • Amity and Lilith's attempt to make a case to get the Bat Queen to renege her decision to never let Luz have a palisman falls on deaf ears, and Flapjack tries to help them by taking responsibility for his role in Hunter taking the nest. It still does nothing, but at least he tried.
  • Eda's "Reason You Suck" Speech to Odalia ends with her saying she, Lilith and Luz all love Amity and she knows Odalia does too, but she should've realized how good a child she had before it was too late.
  • As an act of kindness, Cain calls Simon and tells him what happened to Boscha. He informs Cat, who comes over to treat her former friend's wounds saying she doesn't want her to suffer. Cat also says that Simon caring about Boscha is enough reason for her to treat her wounds.
    • Before that happens, Athena shows she's the more attentive parent by chewing out Nicole because of Boscha coming home injured. When Cat and Simon arrive, Athena invites them in knowing what they're here to do.
    • Tom also passes notes to Boscha, which seems to cheer her up.
  • Per Eda's suggestion, Luz asks Witch Rick Sanchez for help in building a portal to Earth. He hands her a portal gun to use, no catch, no lie.

    Chapter 57: No Big Deal
  • The Amphibians are a lot closer to Anne and Marcy since they've spent seven years living in their world.
    • When Hop Pop first met Anne that stormy night, he was willing to leave her alone scared and crying but didn't because of his morals. Hop Pop took her back to Wartwood and one Time Skip later, he and his family have accepted Anne as one of their own.
      • It's later revealed that this was before Sprig and Polly's parents died. Even if it was only for a little while, Anne did have parents again.
    • Marcy was adopted by King Andrias and named Princess of Amphibia raised under Lady Olivia and General Yunan, who she sees as her mothers. It's also confirmed that because of Marcy, Olivia and Yunan have been in an on-again-off-again romantic relationship long before they actually became one.
    • Speaking of couples, Anne and Marcy became one while trying to make Sprig and Ivy one during the Firefly Festival. Unlike canon, Anne shows more consideration towards Marcy's interests instead of blowing them off and besides comforting Marcy while asleep, Anne's quick to kiss her when they get back to Amphibia.
  • The hope got shot down fast, but Anne and Marcy were very ecstatic when they thought they got back to Earth since it shows they haven't lost faith that they'll return home.
  • When asked by Luz, Marcy admits Amphibians are much more tolerant about same-sex relationships.
  • Eda doesn't bat an eyelash when she decides to let Anne, Sprig and Marcy stay at the Owl House until they find a way to send them back to Amphibia. She then proceeds to enlist Witch Rick to help in said task.
  • Things in Gravity Falls start to perk up:
    • Pacifica spends all of her time comforting Mabel and staying by her side in hopes of getting her to talk about what's bothering her. When she learns what happened, Paz declares she won't ever let Bill hurt Mabel again.
    • Candy, though showing concern for both Pines twins, focuses on comforting Dipper and giving him hope that Mabel already forgave him and just isn't opening up.
    • Instead of the strange alias and purpose Ivan got in canon, Mabel christens him Steve the Good Samaritan who helps people any way he can.
    • After Dipper apologizes again for what happened, Mabel tells him that everything she and Luz like about him is the person he chose to be, not someone Bill made him out to be.
    • Granted, Stan lied, but he told Dipper about Ford and how they were until high school.
    • To help Mabel further with her issues, Wendy recommends the child psychiatrist who helped her deal with losing her mom.
    • The last scene on Earth reveals Vee's pretty much been adopted by Blubs and Durland, content with calling their home hers and optimistic that she'll become comfortable enough to call them "dads" one day.
  • For the sake of giving Luz support after the Latissa incident, Amity, Willow, Viney, the former Banshees and Bo decide to hold a sleepover at the Owl House and invite Anne and Marcy to join them. Since Sprig would be The One Guy, King allows him to join him, Gus, Jerbo and Edric for a guy's night out, something that means a lot to the little frog boy since he has no other guys as friends.
    • It's also worth noting that Anne mentions having lots of sleepovers with Sprig, Polly, Marcy, Ivy and Maddie, further showing how much closer those kids are in this timeline.
    • As it turns out, the reason for holding guy's night was to cheer Edric up after he broke things off with Hunter.
  • Amelia agrees to help give Luz Spanish lessons with Camila, which she's eager about.
  • After learning what happened to Boscha at her orientation (after getting her apology message), Luz and Amity choose to find a way to get her back into Hexside and thus, repay her doing the same for them.
  • Eda checks up on Skara to see how she's doing after her rampage and the bard gives her advice on how they could learn to bond with their inner beasts.
  • Jerbo and Edric, having caught on to Amelia's crush on Gus, tries to get the young illusionist to see it and figure out if he feels the same way.
  • Luz and Skara perform "No Big Deal" alongside Anne and Marcy like a full band. The visuals provided by Rocky makes everyone feel like they're really in Amphibia.
  • Luz, Amity, Viney, Anne and Marcy waste no time going to rescue the guys upon hearing that Captain Hook captured them. Double points for the former two and Anne since they're saving their brothers.
  • Batric managed to warn the girls that the guys got captured, which Edric happily takes as proof that they're bonded. This gets him out of his funk and puts a smile back on his face.
  • Lilith and Steve interact for the first time since the former left the EC, but they admit they've missed each other.
  • Lilith and Marcy prove themselves to be two Birds of a Feather due to their excitable scholarly natures, which King remarks could make them pass as mother and daughter. When the time comes for Anne, Sprig and Marcy to return to Amphibia, Lilith gives Marcy her books on Boiling Isles history and nature as souvenirs, which the human thanks her for through hugging.
  • The goodbye scene between the Owl Crew and their visitors:
    • Luz and Anne are more than confident that they'll see each other again. Luz also tips Anne about rendezvousing with Dipper if she gets back to Earth.
    • Eda makes Anne, Sprig and Marcy members of the Bad Girl Coven and gives them t-shirts.
  • Witch Rick agrees to help the Clawthornes make a two-way portal to Earth.
  • The reunions on Amphibia garner some happiness; Polly tearfully hugs Anne, Ivy pulls Sprig into a hug of her own and Hop Pop mentions how they were worried for the kids and about Yunan going Mama Newt on Wartwood if anything happened to Marcy.
  • Meta: An intentional nod is made to fellow Amphibia/Owl House crossover fic, The Owl and The Frog with the mention of Uodeela, Maddie (and in said fic, Luz)'s magic teacher, implied to exist in this continuity.

Chapter 58: The Ballad of Eda (Part 1)
  • Eda's first trip to the human realm shows how she was saved from her muggers by a girl named Angel Sinclair, who comforts her and declares herself Eda's "Guardian Angel".
  • It's clear Eda and King see Amity as part of their family, Eda knowing Luz will stay with her as they get older and King calling her a "practical sister-in-law" during his video message to his dad. Larry, who reveals that Eda told him about the young witch and finally got to meet her, also says Luz picked a good catch.
  • Owlbert isn't afraid of Luz and doesn't blame her for Maya's demise, but she doesn't want to risk hurting him until she's certain what happened doesn't occur again.
  • Yet again, Larry supplies adoption papers for the Clawthornes, this time for King. He also mentions that he has a husband.
  • All of Luz's friends watch King's stream going out to his dad, which Eda suggests sending out in case the Gland Prix is a bust.
    • Skara's shown watching it as she pets her completed palisman, a cricket named Jimmy.
    • Viney sheds a Single Tear as she looks at a photo of her with her father, sympathizing with King.
    • Boscha watches it with Tom in her attic, petting Hogarth on her lap.
  • After the video, Camila gives her congratulations to Luz having King as an official brother. She mentions that she wanted more kids with her husband and even though their deaths prevented it, she's happy Luz still got to have some siblings, with Luz hoping she'll get to meet Dipper. Luz then asks Camila to tell her how her dad lived, a question Camila's happy to answer.
  • Prof. Snope is now helping Alador and Darius in curing Alador's siblings, saying he'd do it even if he wasn't in his debt for his apprenticeship. Not to mention he keeps Alador up to date on Amity's progress and will inform him on any changes.
  • After checking in on Hunter's progress in therapy, Darius both give condolences for Hunter's breakup and confesses his family issues, telling Hunter he reminds Darius of his son. When Hunter asks how he coped, Darius says he befriended Eberwolf and though annoyed by their antics, he considers them dependable
  • Doubling as awesome, Eda calls out into Angel's mom for defending the guys who jumped her and telling her she owes Angel an apology.
  • Deciding to expand her social circle, Eda chooses Sandra to befriend who accepts since Luz saved Mattholomule twice.
  • Not only does Geist give Luz a warm welcome when they meet each other, he happily embraces Amity and says he's proud of her taking illusions.
  • After spending so much time worrying about Raine, Eda and Lilith get to reunite with them after the BAT's latest public rescue.
  • Along with the Thians, Perry has recently joined the BAT's to help people, but also to protect his son (who's nickname he finally starts using after four years) and Luz from the Day of Unity. He informs Eda on Belos' plans for her daughter and tells her she raised a good kid.
    • Eda then takes the time to apologize for not telling Perry about her suspicions of Jenny, yet Perry admits her actions gave him Gus and he'll do anything to protect the most important person in his life along with his friends.
    • Eda also tells Perry that if things get too heated in a battle, he'll run. She doesn't want him to be captured and leave Gus all alone.
  • In Eda's illusion created by her performance for Raine, Angel is seen as an actual guardian angel saving her from a pack of wolves. When said illusion goes bad, Raine calms her down and listens to her explain the events. To comfort Eda, Raine holds her in an embrace meant to last a while.

Chapter 59: The Ballad of Eda (Part 2)
  • Eda ends up sleeping against Raine for a few hours after they comfort her and invite them to dinner once the fight against Belos is over. And from what Amber says, Lilith saw Eda and Raine and left them in peace before going home.
  • Amber attempting to get Eda to adopt her is both funny and sweet; that way, she'd have a legitimate reason to call her "Mama Eda".
  • To cheer up Luz about not having her staff, Amity creates a motorbike out of abomination goo (the idea she got from Gus) to give her a ride through town to the Grom Tree. There, they reaffirm their promise to try and help Boscha and share a moment while discussing the meaning behind "Purple Rain": "No matter how hard times may get, after the rain there's a ray of hope." It seems to fit how things are going for them right now.
  • Brash and feral as she is, even Nina has a heart. She has a crush on a girl from St. Epiderm which Tito knows about and encourages her to ask the girl out like a normal person.
  • As Simon chews out Cain for letting Boscha get hurt and Cain tells his brother to calm down, Boris shows up and the two stop fighting to greet him in a cousinly variation of Big Brother Worship.
  • Just like with Lilith, Amity calls Eda "mom". It shows how much their relationship's changed on Amity's side, and Eda, though caught off guard, accepts it.
  • When the BAT's are ambushed by Darius and Eberwolf, Eda keeps her word in telling Perry to escape, handing him an invisibility glyph so he'll be undetected.
  • Boiling Isles Bird Person sacrificing his life and Squanchy his freedom so Witch Rick can escape. Rick hesitates at leaving Squanchy, but doesn't waste the opening he's giving him.
  • Owlbert senses Eda in trouble during the race and flies off to help her, taking Amity and King with him. Luz sees this and joins them in fighting Darius and Eberwolf so Eda (who's spiraled and attacked Raine) can escape.
  • Refusing to fight Tres after learning his past, Lilith confesses she knew she was wrong not to help him and his kind, standing down and surrendering herself to allow him his revenge. Tres finds himself unable to go through with it despite his anger and chooses to run.
  • When their battle begins, Darius refuses to fight Amity, only doing so in self-defense. When Amity has Darius pinned, her shadow spots a photo of Darius' family and gets her to see it, stopping her from doing worse.
  • Although Raine knows their mind's been tampered with, they tell the Clawthornes and Amity to escape before Darius and Eber catches up, apologizing for what they've done to them and their allies.
  • Refusing to let his family be incarcerated, Witch Rick turns himself in so long as they're freed. Before that, Geist gives him his sympathy over his best friend's death.
  • After seeing Goonla's ship sunk and the tavern in shambles, the Owl Crew finds Levi's sister as Goonla left her hidden so she wouldn't be taken away. Amity brings her home since there's not much else they can do.
  • Villainous example: Belos has Ludo moved to the conformatorium out of concern over what hearing his past might do to Hunter. He also comforts Hunter after informing him about Darius' death.
  • Angel, after learning the truth about Eda, asked her to take her to the Demon Realm so she can get away from her life in Gatesfield. Eda agreed.

Chapter 60: Prelude to War (Part 1)
  • As idiotic as it was, even for Luz, she attempts a one-woman rescue mission for the BAT's at the conformatorium. And as aevious as Belos is, he decides not to kill the BAT's, the Thians or Witch Rick or imprison Amity for helping the Thians as a favor to Luz and Hunter.
  • Eda grounds Luz after her little stunt, prioritizing her safety especially after learning about Belos' plans for her.
  • Lilith is shocked to hear Darius has died and chooses to attend his funeral disguised in a coven scout uniform.
  • Samwitch Saltstar, Simon and Cain's father, helps Principal Bump calm down all the frantic parents by telling them they're responsible for preparing their children to fight in the war, having faith in all of them. Once Sam's finished, Principal Bump tells the parents they can pull their kids out of school until the war passes if they so choose.
  • Luz makes time to check in on Morty and Summer to see how they're taking their grandpa's arrest as Edric, Emira and their friend Jessica console them. While Summer's trying to help Rick, Morty is respecting his choice for keeping them safe, mentioning that he's lucky to have a much kinder Rick who's letting him choose how to live his life. Morty also gives Luz a recorder with a message from Rick for her.
    • Before talking to the Smiths, the twins worriedly ask Luz if she and Amity are having problems since they're not together. It show how quick they've come to prioritize their sister above all else.
  • Mai's Hero Worship over Luz for her victory against the Coachman is rather sweet, and given how she and Amity are seen as controversial figures in other realms for it on top of everything else, it's something she'd need to hear.
  • Amity informs Willow, Viney Skara, Amelia and Cat about Levi and his father's incarceration and her taking care of the egg for them. They support her decision and Viney offers to help care for the youngling.
  • Felicia keeps her end of her deal with Luz in not telling her mom about her and Amity fighting the Coven Heads and showing Luz what attacked the heads after they left.
  • As thanks for standing up for him, Angmar gives Boscha a plant from his garden that can be used to treat wounds. He offers to sit wit her at lunch since his friends aren't around and she doesn't have any and she accepts, as she needs a friend to survive the school.
    • Hearing that Gavin's attending a funeral, Boscha offers her apologies for his loss.
  • Along with Lilith, Hunter attends Darius' funeral disguised as a scout to pay his respects, with Alador and Odalia also in attendance.
    • Alador thinks back to when he first became friends with Darius as kids, how he encouraged Alador to be himself and how they were friends with Odalia and Geist in their teens. Darius had offered to help Alador make his own future after his parents threatened to cut him off, believing they'd have been an unstoppable partnership.
    • It turns out that Darius has been watching over Hunter since he was a baby after he learned he was William's son. Darius was there to listen when Hunter told him about his first meeting Luz (encouraging their friendship and speaking to Belos about allowing the boy to leave the castle more so he doesn't have to sneak out to see her) and when he told him he hooked up with Edric (trusting his judgment about dating a Blight despite his personal bias.)
    • Seeing how miserable Hunter is, Lilith consoles him and gives him an apology when she learns just how close he was to Darius, who he considers the closest to having a real father.
    • Abel Reisender, who's also in attendance, meets the disguised Lilith and informs her why Flora offered her a job. He tells her they don't have to be enemies and to consider taking the job so she can work in a place she'd be happy in and respected for with the benefits of being able to provide for her family.
    • Even despite the growing rift between them, Odalia makes an effort to hear Alador talk about his issues with Darius' death.
  • During a counseling session, Ms. Traveler assures Luz that Eda's doing right by her in grounding her to protect her, that it's healthy for her and Amity to have space and that she's in no way responsible for Glandus' students being who they are, including Emily.
  • Amelia tries to comfort Gus when he's stressing out over Hexside having no reliable allies.
  • Headmistress Midday refuses to have her students help Hexside in the war for their safety, but at least gives condolences to Principal Bump.
  • Eda goes to Vanz Ator's shop to inform him of Katya's imprisonment and asks Grimhilde to pass it on if she sees him. She then enters a Temple of the Titan to air out her frustrations with everything (during which she admits she considers Amity her third kid) and asks for help in protecting her family.
  • Viney tells Luz to go talk to Amity since Eda's not around to stop her. This attempt fails when Eda immediately shows up, but it shows Viney's perception is still first rate.
  • Eda checks in on Gus to see if Perry got home and asks that he tell her when he sees him again.
  • Amity begins fretting over Levi's sister the moment she gets home; to calm her down, Lilith offers to call Gwendolyn to help take care of the egg so Amity doesn't have to burden herself with sole responsibility.
  • Camila and Amelia's Spanish tutoring lesson: Luz asks Amelia to pass a message to Amity telling her Luz misses her, then Luz explaining the slayground incident to Camila who gives support about all the pressure she's had to deal with.
  • As Luz listens to Witch Rick's message, he informs her about Belos' plans for her. He also confides that he was once no better than the Emperor but has begun changing that by allowing Morty to make his own decisions, saying he sympathizes with Eda's reasons for protecting Luz and that the kids shouldn't be forced into something like war but if Luz has the power to make a choice, she'll have to be smart about it.
  • The last scene shows a young Darius in some kind of limbo being trained by his former mentor Sir William, who gives him advice and encouragement which shows how their relationship was in Darius' youth.

Chapter 61: Prelude to War (Part 2)
  • Before Amity goes to meet her siblings and uncle for breakfast before school starts, Eda lends her Owlbert as a safety precaution.
  • Confronting Eda over her reasons for not telling her what she learned about Belos' plans, Luz admits she screwed up by sneaking out and she's ready to listen to her and work together with her family. Eda praises Luz for learning from her mistakes and agrees to go jogging with her.
  • Before Mattholomule goes to school, he gets a visit from Steve (his older half-brother) as Sandra called him hoping he could get Matt out of fighting in the war. Matt refuses and proceeds to stand his ground by telling her why he won't abandon his friends or his school despite her wanting to protect him. After a moment of thinking (and correctly guessing he's also doing this for a girl he likes), she supports his decision.
    • On a side note, Matt admits he got his nickname from his fellow club members.
    • It's also confirmed that Matt has a crush on Bo, hence his protectiveness over her.
  • Nina may not appreciate how close her family is or how much they love her, but they're shown to be very close with each other.
    • The whole family's made up of Werecat witches but despite their origins being the result of Were-Fever, their becoming well-behaved is why Belos allowed them to live in peace.
  • Alador heads down to Geist's bar to try and make amends with his children only for Emira to brush him off. He did at least make the effort to do so and likely of his own decision. Before his attempt, he's warmly greeted by Geist who expresses his condolences about Darius.
  • Amity finds Emira outside after telling off Alador for not being involved with his children's lives and talks with her about how Em feels about her after she disowned the Blight name. Emira tells her that she's been reflecting on the person she wants to be ever since Amity was mugged and fears she'll end up alone; Amity assures her she won't because she believes she's a good person that everyone including Viney likes her for before pulling her into a hug apologizing for not being more fair to her and everything she wrnt through because of her. Emira rebuffs the apology and hugs back saying Amity has nothing to apologize for, both girls agreeing to be better sisters to each other.
  • At Gus' suggestion, Willow is nominated the leader of Hexside's students for the war against Glandus as she's the embodiment of "wisdom, strength and heart". Before the announcement, Luz encourages Willow to take the role because of how powerful she is and voicing her belief and support. With the support of her other friends along with a damn inspiring Rousing Speech, Willow manages to rally the student body together to stand and fight.
  • Alador and Calypso are offered the positions of Head Witch for their respective covens with Abel saying it'll help get leinency for their respective daughters' recent actions (Amity's "treason", Skara's rampage in her wolf form). Knowing their lives are at stake, they both agree on the spot.
    • Doubling as a Moment of Awesome; during an interview with Felicity Fox, who insults Calypso for giving up her career as a bounty hunter to start a family along with her past drinking problem, Calypso warns her to never insult her family again or she'll skin Felicity.
    • Ulrich, the Construction Coven Head, is a father himself and sympathizes with Alador and Calypso having to possibly put their duties as the newly appointed Head Witches before their families as Darius had to, moreso with Alador since his family's divided enough.
  • While all the healing track students are treating everyone injured in the fire Eve started, Bo checks up on Matt who informs her of his talk with his mom. She suggests he help provide cover for the healers and he agrees since it means they'll stick together which makes Bo blush, confirming his feelings for her are mutual.
  • Emira decides to help the healers in the war and asks Viney if she can, which she allows with Cat's permission.
  • Emily at least has enough sympathy to let Gavin be exempt from the war to allow him to mourn his father.
  • Watching Ukla struggle to carry her books due to her broken arm with nobody helping her, Boscha picks up her books and offers her to join her and Angmar for lunch off campus.
  • Viney and Gwendolyn understand Amity's doting over Levi's sister along with her stress and compare it to raising Puddles and Eda & Lilith, respectively. King compares it to how Eda acted baby-proofing the Owl House to protect Luz, which Gwen immediately asks for details to. And all while Luz smiles as she listens to them downstairs during her Spanish lesson with Camila and Amelia.
  • Angmar brings Boscha with him to Gavin's house for moral support, where they find Hunter (disguised as a coven scout) dropping off some of Darius' things to him. After making peace with Boscha and thanking her for sticking up for Angmar, Gavin sees that Darius kept the letters Gavin sent him and he fondly remembers that Darius never cared for his accomplishments but who Gav himself is, paying close attention to him every one of the few times they talked.
    • Boscha and Hunter both end up admitting their recent screwups made them lose their friends and seem to bond over it.
  • Boscha agrees to help Hardy Boils, a detective who's been looking been looking into Bria's disappearance, in exchange for him helping her fi d out what happened to Boris.
  • Upon seeing that Hunter has bonded with Flapjack (and remembering how happy William had been after carving him), Belos musters all of his willpower to resist The Voice and allows Hunter to keep his palisman rather than devouring it. He also wonders if Flapjack bonded with Hunter because he looks like Caleb.
  • Amity decides to talk to Boscha for the first time since the triclops outed her deal with Lilith. They spend time catching up with Amity explaining the situation with Levi's sister and telling her what happened to Boris along with the promise to get her out of Glandus and thanking her for getting everyone's expulsions revoked. Boscha, seeing how stressed Amity is, tells her she'll handle Glandus for now and admitting they were both bad friends.
  • When Luz's attempt to face her trauma of the Slayground incident leaves her on her knees crying, Eda swiftly comforts her. When Emily shows up, Eda goes to offer an apology for cursing her (which gets shot down, but she did.)
  • Luz is well aware during her duel with Emily that she's at a clear disadvantage against her fighting skills and without her cambion form but keeps fighting for the sake of sparing everyone from the war. And when she comes close to transforming and forfeiting against her will, she uses the anxiety technique to calm down. Remember last time she used it was after she dumped Amity; it didn't work then so the fact that it worked now (and hearing Amity's advice to using it) spells out how dedicated Luz is to honor her word and how much she holds her girlfriend in high regard again.
    • Eda's quick to teach the brat who hit Luz with a rock during the duel a lesson and threatens him to never show his face to her kid again.
  • Right before Emily lands her final (and potentially lethal) punch on Luz, Boscha blasts her away as the triclops saw just how much Emily was acting like she did in the semester exams and wanted to stop her from crossing a line.
  • Belos didn't want to destroy Flapjack because he felt he'd have destroyed a part of William. Although it risks Hunter learning his origins, he has accepted his "nephew" as family long ago and wouldn't forgive himself if he pushed him away.
  • Panicking after running away from the slayground, Boscha calls Ms. Traveler to talk and calm herself down.
  • Everyone at the Owl House surrounds and hugs Luz when they see the state she's in after dueling Emily. Knowing she'll need everyone's comfort, Eda suspends the restriction keeping Amity away for the night so she can personally tend to Luz.

Chapter 62: Prelude to War (Part 3)
  • The first scene is a flashback to the Saltstars on a camping trip, with Boris accompanying them and acting as an older brother keeping Simon and Cain in line.
  • The scene between Luz and her mothers early on: Camila attempts to convince Eda to pull Luz out of the war after what Emily did to her and her assumption about fighting for pride leads Luz to explain that she's fighting for her friends, her classmates and the school that now matters so much to her, the determined look in her eyes making Camila see her husband in her daughter. Luz decides to bring Camila to Hexside for the day to see what she means.
  • Now that King's a Clawthorne, he's decided to start wearing clothes so Eda handed down a pair of overalls Luz once wore to him.
  • Mai drops by the Owl House eager to meet Amity, happily explains the workings of the Yokai Realm to her and King and takes her to school just because.
  • Willow and Gus manage to stand their ground and defend each other from Emily's attempt to talk down on them. When Willow rebuffs Emily's statement about compassion and says it's more a strength than a weakness, Emily remarks that Boscha got that idea from her.
  • Before Boscha leaves for school, Athena tells her she'll find a way to get her out of Glandus. Once Boscha's gone, she brings the breakfast she made for her that she told Athena she could have up to Tom before he wakes up, showing that while she's wondering why her daughter's hiding a boy in their attic, Athena will question them when they're ready.
  • The Flashback to Boscha's 10th birthday party bears some sweet fruit from the Saltstar parents:
    • Delara attends despite being a Coven head with a rigorous schedule, telling Athena she wouldn't have missed it. Athena also tries to tend to Delara's headache, caring for her sister-in-law.
    • Samwitch displays himself as a Friend to All Children by acting as a playground for the kids to climb and catching Cat when she falls.
    • Delara and Sam knew Boris couldn't come to the party as he wasn't welcome by Nicole, so they brought his present for his sister. They proceed to defend him from Nicole's anger and tell her they took him in because they still consider him family.
  • The St. Epiderm B-plot
    • Some St. Epiderm students, including Donna Masterskull and Viney's cousin Tina, wish to help Hexside in the war.
    • Nina, allowed to sit out the meeting with Headmistress Midday, goes to spend time with Donna, having a Crush Blush moment from greeting her old friend.

Luz Clawthorne's Sidetrack: The Pride Special! A Skarlow Date To Remember!
  • Willow and Skara's date ends with their First Kiss; Willow confesses that it was her literal first kiss and she's happy it was with Skara.

Chapter 63: The Glandus War: The Invasion
  • Unable to just sit and watch the war once it begins, Eda declares she's going to help and Lilith agrees despite knowing of her controversial status. Hexside was their school, and they are more than willing to fight for it and protect their kids.

Chapter 64: The Glandus War: Turning Point
  • The Distant Prologue shows Eda and Angel living together in Latissa, where Angel ended up being the one who inspired Eda's human junk business. After a week, Angel asked to return to the Human Realm after hearing a strange voice and Eda, though confused, agreed.
    • When the girls began to get their business off the ground, Raine showed up in town asking if people saw Eda. They even pass out missing posters and mention Eda's family was worried sick about her.

Chapter 65: The Glandus War: Masks Off
  • In order to help Boscha after Nina impales her, Viney takes her to Dr. Bride's clinic as Skara stays behind to take on Nina.

Chapter 66: The Glandus War: What Is It Good For
  • Beocrow gives Luz props for declaring she'll kick Belos's ass, saying he's been wanting to meet his cousin for some time because of this. The revelation stuns her and after telling Eda about him, she decides to look into whether or not Beocrow's a Clawthorne.
  • In response to Boscha getting stabbed, Athena has had enough of Nicole's petty vengeance, and kicks her out both for their daughter's safety and so Tom can stay with them without Nicole objecting to it.
  • Eda decides to treat Luz for her effort in the war. What does she do? She lifts Luz's grounding so she and Amity can sleep together in Luz's room again, telling her kid she earned that back.

Gus: Amity... you're still you. Just like Luz is still Luz despite what she's going through right now. You may be experiencing some changes as well, but that just means I want to help you however I can.
    Amity: (reassured) Thanks for understanding.

Chapter 82: Shaping Up or Nothing

Chapter 83: How to Save a Life

    Chapter 84: Northwest Party Crashers

    Chapter 85: Fallen Angel
  • Blubs and Durland's reunion with Vee while she was still in her basilisk form shows just how much they love her for who she is now that they know what she is, and she couldn't be happier.

    Chapter 86: Closing the Gates
  • Before Stan's taken into custody, Dipper and Mabel, Soos, Wendy, the Clawthornes and their fellow witches, Star and Vee get the chance to say goodbye, with most of the kids thanking him for allowing them to stay at the Mystery Shack. The whole thing brings Stan to tears.
  • Despite his curt attitude towards his brother, Ford does promise Stan that he'll do his best to look after Dipper.

Chapter 87: A Tale of Two Palismen
  • Amity divulges her half-Fae status to the Clawthorne sisters, Camila, King, Willow, and Eve and just like Luz and Gus, they tell her that doesn't change how they feel about her. Eve even admits she figured it out sometime ago, but kept it to herself wanting Amity to trust her enough to admit it on her own.

Chapter 89: The Obligatory Beach Day!
  • Luz and Amity decide to visit Echo Creek to check up on the latter's human friends and bring Kay with them. In order:
    • Janna has been released from the hospital and when the girls come to visit her at her home, she rushes down to hug Amity. After recapping everything to Janna, she and Luz proceed to bond over their favorite horror movies before she gives them her copy of "The War on Witchcraft".
    • The trio then head to Jackie's place and not only find Marco there as well, but learn that Jackie's parents know the truth about Amity from Mr. X, who apologized for his previous actions against her, their daughter, and Star.
      • The fact that Marco was with Jackie when the girls stop by. Last time he visited, he was freaked by the mere thought of being in his crush's house. A few days later, now he's not only composed about it, he seems to have hit it off with Jackie's parents.

    Chapter 90: The Steve Chapter

    Chapter 91: Fairly God-Witches
  • During Titan service, Lambi (who's working with her mom at the Titan temple) picks up on Nina's unease about her attendance and sits with her in the back. Nina is more surprised by the fact that Lambi isn't scared of her in the slightest and genuinely smiles when telling Skara about it.
  • Luz and Camila decide to return to Gravity Falls for their promised bonding day with Clara and Abigail. They also invite the rest of Clara's friends and Nora to join them.
  • As an act of good will, Luz brings Schmebulock back to Gravity Falls, showing she remembered he got stuck in the Demon Realm.
  • Before going to meet the Gates, Luz and Eda pay a visit to Dipper to check up on him. He proceeds to pull out "Dungeons, Dungeons, and More Dungeons" (which was among his stuff Soos recovered from the shack), and Luz fondly remembers how they used to play it together.
  • Star returns to Earth with the Clawthornes and immediately goes off to hang out with Vee again. Once Star reaches her house, Vee is quick to embrace the Mewman and invites her to join her, Blubs, and Durland in an FCLORP session, which Star agrees to try.
    • While describing FCLORP, Vee makes it clear that she's completely fallen in love with the idea of getting to act out a Real Life video game.
    • Did we mention how casually Vee calls Blubs and Durland "Dads" now? Later on, Durland calls her "hun" during their session.
  • Through their day of hanging out, the Gatesfield teens are given not just their first experience adventuring with Luz, but their first experience just being teenagers. With no usual teen hotspots to hang out at in Gatesfield, they enjoy playing arcade games, listening to music at Gravity Falls' music store, and getting in a round of laser tag, making up for not having any of that as kids.
  • At the music store, Luz and Clara bond over Paul McCartney's "Blackbird" and listen to it together, even singing along while Masha and Gus watch them, Masha smiling at the sight.
  • Wendy managed to get a job at the music store thanks to Tambry hooking her up with the gig through a friend.

  • In a crooked kind of heartwarming, Stan taught Wendy how to steal properly but when she took it too far and got arrested, he takes the heat and tells her to not make the same mistakes he did in his life. By present day, Wendy admits she appreciates Stan looking out for her.
  • Vee unknowingly gives Masha advice about embracing who she is and being comfortable in her own skin.

Rose: [smiling] He made it himself. I'm the luckiest girl in this realm.
    • Upon seeing the ring, Eda gives her congradulations and asks to be invited to the bachelorette party.
