Patience Mather Cleveland (May 23, 1931 - May 27, 2004) was an American actress and writer. She was best known for Fitzwilly, Psycho III, and Donnie Darko.
Born in New York City to an established New Hampshire family, Cleveland was the younger sister of New Hampshire Representative James Colgate Cleveland. In 1963 she published a children’s book, The Lion is Busy. She was married to actor Peter Hobbs and to Richard Michels. Cleveland died of lung and brain cancer at the age of 73.
