John Donovan “J. D.” Cannon (April 24, 1922 – May 20, 2005) was an American actor. He was best known for Cool Hand Luke, McCloud, and Raise the Titanic!.
Cannon served in the US Army during World War II. He was married to stage actress Alice Mary McCamley. He died of natural causes at the age of 83.
