Corporal/Sergeant Frank Keegan
- Voiced by: Yuri Lowenthal
- Cold Sniper: Is the only allied soldier who uses a sniper rifle, and never talks during combat.
- Demolitions Expert: Places more explosive charges than any other soldier throughout the game.
- Do-Anything Soldier: Throughout the game, fills the roles of: Paratrooper, Infantryman, Sniper, Demolitions Expert and Anti Tank Soldier.
- Experienced Protagonist: Fought against Vichy France in North Africa, during Operation Torch, before the events of the game take place.
- It's Up to You: After regrouping with his squad in 'The Crucible', they are pinned down by snipers, after which it's up to Keegan to clear the area of snipers so that the squad can move through the factory. Corporal Garrett even says 'Keegan, it's up to you!'.
- Made of Iron: Throughout the game Keegan survives: jumping out of an exploding plane, a glider crash, being Buttstroked by a Karabiner 98K, having an explosive charge detonate directly next to him, while a bridge then collapses on top of him, and that is only what happens during cutscenes.
- The game even Lampshades this, with Private Slauson saying: 'Geez, Keegan, you've got a hard head, you took a good hit.'
- Mr. Exposition: Gives the context for each Operation during their respective opening cutscene.
- One-Man Army: Clears out most of the factory in 'The Crucible' single handedly.
- Player Character
- Rank Up: Is promoted to Sergeant in 'Requiem'.
- Silent Protagonist: Zigzagged, he does not speak during gameplay, but does talk during the opening cutscene to each Operation.
- Sole Survivor: Along with Garrett of the glider crash in Operation Neptune.

Sergeant John Magnusson

- Boom, Headshot!: How he dies.
- Distressed Dude: In 'Behind Enemy Lines' he is captured by the Nazis.
- Parachute in a Tree: His parachute gets caught in a Church in 'Behind Enemy Lines' which allows the Nazis to capture him.

- Supporting Leader: He is the leader of Keegan's squad before he is killed at least, but is not the protagonist.
Lieutenant Jon McCollum
- Voiced by: Dublin James
- Redhead In Green: Justified, as he is a soldier.
- Supporting Leader: He is the leader of Keegan's platoon, but is not the protagonist.
- The Captain: Although his rank is Lieutenant.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: Does not appear again after ordering Sergeant Keegan and his squad to clear Grave of German forces within.
Corporal Stephen Garrett
- Voiced by: Peter Giles
- Big Damn Heroes: Leads the squad that comes to Keegan's assistance halfway through 'The Crucible' which turns out to be a subversion as immediately afterwards him and his squad are pinned down by snipers.
- Cunning Linguist: Understands German, this allows him to translate what the German Soldiers are saying in 'A Shallow Grave'.
- Sole Survivor: Along with Keegan of the glider crash in Operation Neptune.
- The Lancer
Private Tom Chalmers
- Voiced by: Byrne Offutt
- Large Ham: 'I bet you can't spot it from the air! SNEAKY KRAUT!'
- Sacrificial Lion: Is killed by the second Tiger Tank in 'Predators'.
- The Big Guy: Even refered to as such by Private Slauson.
Private Mike Slauson
- Voiced by: Raphael Sbarge
- Big Damn Heroes: Is present in the squad that comes to Keegan's assistance halfway through 'The Crucible' which turns out to be a subversion as immediately afterwards him and his squad are pinned down by snipers.
- Deadpan Snarker: Often makes sarcastic comments during combat.
Private Harrison Pike
- Voiced by: Roger Craig Smith
- Big Damn Heroes: Is present in the squad that comes to Keegan's assistance halfway through 'The Crucible' which turns out to be a subversion as immediately afterwards him and his squad are pinned down by snipers.
- Generic Guy
Bazooka Operator
- Big Damn Heroes: The first time a Tiger Tank appears, Keegan and his squad have no way to destroy it, then, the player hears: 'I'VE GOT THAT BAZOOKA!'... 'FIRE!', with the Tiger Tank then being destroyed in one shot, the door then opens to reveal the Bazooka Operator and other allied soldiers.
- Back from the Dead: Despite seeming being killed at the end of 'Endgame' by a Tiger Tank, he reappears for the final battle in 'The Crucible'.
- This is probably because he runs off just before the Tiger fires, although it is hard to see.
- Demolitions Expert
- Large Ham: Is the largest of all the Large Hams in the game as he shouts every line he says.
- 'YOU GOT THAT BAZOOKA PIECE? YOU'LL NEEEEEEEEED IT!'
- Mauve Shirt: Has the most characterisation out of all of the unnamed soldiers.

- Parachute in a Tree: First time he appears he is stuck in a tree, the player then gets to cut him down from the tree.

Stanley
A soldier in Keegan's squad, he only appears once during 'A Shallow Grave' and is never seen or mentioned of again.
Strickland
A soldier in Keegan's squad who is injured during 'Der Bunker'.
- The Ghost: Is never seen in game, only mentioned once by Sergeant Magnusson during 'Der Bunker'.
