Allen Llewellyn

Sunday's Child

"The ant told me that the frog is bad. The frog told me that the cat is bad. The cat told me, 'No, the rabbit's the worst of all!' So I..."
Made it to the survivor pool.

Coriander Bliss

The Dextrous

"Welcome to the Bliss Family Bakery! What can I do for you today?"
The culprit of case 1 (week 2).

Dark Dream

The Evil Knockoff

"When you have your companions by your side you're always smiling happily. Why is that?"
Made it to the survivor pool.

Franziska von Karma

Ms. Genius Prosecutor Successor to Manfred von Karma, Franziska von Karma

"I'm going to find the perfect evidence and prettily present it like the professional I am."
The victim of case 2 (week 3).

Gavroche Thénardier

The Artful Dodger

"Here is the thing about equality: everyone's equal when they're dead."
Made it to the survivor pool.

  • Who Watches the Watchmen?: He opposed the four kids trying to establish leadership, using this as a reason. Justified when both of the pre-teenage murderers were sector leaders.

Gilgamesh

Precocious King

"You know, even I laugh and get angry... "
Made it to the survivor pool.

Ib

The Embodiment of Spirit

"...I'm not here."
Punished during week 2.

Lena

The Spellbound

It's not an adventure if you're invited.
One of the victims of case 3 (week 4).

Manaka Sayjou

The Lovestruck Girl

"Do you think that he and I will together forever from now on?"
The culprit of case 2 (week 3).

Mizuki Okiura

Pipe Princess

"I've grown out of my brooding, pretentious teenager phase."
Made it to the survivor pool.

Nagisa Shingetsu

The Underperforming Overachiever

"All we want is a peaceful paradise… where children can live without fear."
The culprit of case 5 (week 6).

Natsuo Sagan

Warrior Poet

"We don't know our own pain, and we don't understand other people's pain. So what about it?"
Punished during week 4.

Neku Sakuraba

The Proxy

I just met you. I don't like you. And I don't give a rat's ass if you think I'm rude!
One of the victims of case 3 (week 4).

Nigel Uno

The Operative

It's a lie! It's a lie! Everything you know is a lie! We have to rise up!
Made it to the survivor pool.

  • The Leader: In a weird mix of subverting and playing it straight, Nigel tried to establish leadership positions for himself, Nagisa, Mizuki and Yuniko akin to his Sector Leader position in the Kids Next Door. However, most of the cooperative kids were assigned to Nagisa or Mizuki's sector so he could spend more time trying to keep an eye out for the uncooperative ones. As a result, his own sector was very small and they didn't really do anything as a group.
  • Intergenerational Rivalry: Though 'generation' is kind of pushing it in reality, Nigel sees all instances of kids vs teens as such, and he has a particularly silly rivalry with Neku.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: He had this attitude about ANY teens being included in the sectors, and then Neku wound up on his team...
  • Properly Paranoid: Because of his belief in the evilness of teenagers, he assumed that they would always be the ones doing the killing, and he was right most of the time until all of the teenagers (in his opinion. Dark Dream was a gray area) were wiped out.
  • Amusing Injuries: He showed up to the second trial with x-marks-the-spot bandaids dead center on the top of his bald head from a cut he got sparring with the taller Natsuo.
  • Rule of Funny: Nigel was played straight as a cartoon character whenever this rule applied, such as carrying impossibly big items in his pockets, or having huge feet in the shoe check due to Kids Next Door's art style.
  • Bamboo Technology: He had his 2x4 technology with him and supplied them to several kids as weapons.
  • Pacifism Backfire: He was OK with supplying KND weapons to the other kids with the intent to prevent murders, since all of them are non-lethal. Regardless, the ITSIBITSI he gave Nagisa was a crucial tool in his murder of Seven.

Oriko Mikuni

Forlorn Cassandra

"When the road is dark, I bring out my own light."
The culprit of case 4 (week 5).

Veronica

The Empress

"Saying 'hippity-hop' makes my ears bounce. It's fun, but I don't know why."
Punished during week 3.

Violet Baudelaire

Very Fine Daughter

"You'd think someone would put a stop to it, but you'd think somebody would put a stop to Count Olaf, too, and nobody does."
The victim of case 1 (week 2).

Youji Sagan

Stone Wall

"Do we make you nervous? That doesn't look like a 'not-worried' face to me."
Punished during week 4.

Yuniko Kouzuki

Red Riding Hood

"I was feeling like having some cake. One with tons of strawberries!"
The culprit of case 3 (week 4).

Seven

The Friendliest Monster

"What would I do without my lovely big siblings to help me?"
The victim of case 5 (week 6).
  • Break the Cutie: Over the course of the game, Seven repeatedly made friends and even developed sibling-like bonds with characters who end up being either victims or killers (Coriander in Case 1, Franziska and Manaka in Case 2, and Neku in Case 3). All of these compounded each other, and even since Case 1, he became more aggressive, depressed, hopeless, and even self-destructive as a result.
  • Cranium Chase: Like in the show, this occassionally happens to him.
  • Cruel and Unusual Death: In Case 5, Nagisa shot darts into his eyes to blind him, his foot was caught in a bear trap, he had a tree felled on him by the ITSIBITSI, and Nagisa chopped his wrist several times with an axe, leaving him to bleed out. And if that wasn't enough, his loose head was eaten to the bone by the stuffed animals in the Zoo.
  • The Klutz
  • Like Brother and Sister: With Coriander (even remarking she reminded him of his eldest sister One), Manaka, and Mizuki.
  • Losing Your Head
  • Nervous Wreck
  • Precision F-Strike: Towards Yuniko in Trial 3.
  • Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: With Natsuo and Youji.
  • There's No Kill like Overkill: See Cruel and Unusual Death. Possibly justified in that he's a nine-foot-tall monster with an unusual physiology.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Cheese.
  • Wholesome Crossdresser: Implied during a conversation with Dark Dream, where he lamented her dress being too small for him to wear himself and wanting one like it in his size.
  • Younger Than He Looks: Compared to the other guests, he's nine feet tall, has grey hair, and has a deep, Boris Karloff-esque voice, yet he is still a child. This is Played for Drama during Case 5, where Nagisa reveals that he picked Seven to be his victim because he looked like an exaggerated image of the "demons" (adults) that the Warriors of Hope fight against, and thus it was easier to pretend that he was a "demon" whilst murdering him.

Amdiranifani

Good With Numbers

"That's easy, Ravna! It's 523.598 cubic centimeters... or do you want more digits?"
Made it to the survivor pool.

The Queen

"I'm already thinking of the games we can play later, hurry up!"
The victim of case 4 (week 5).

Alice (Nursery Rhyme)

The Cat

"Don't rush the game or I might get bored."

Entei

The deadland NPC.
