Round one of Castle Whimsical is set in the titular castle, to which the mysterious Queen has abducted several children to be her new friends! And she wants to play a game...
This game provides examples of:
- Laser-Guided Amnesia: The kids lose memories over the course of the game.
- One-Steve Limit: Averted with the Alices, and played with when a few characters get the impression that the mention of Monaca in Nagisa's profile refers to Manaka.
- A Tragedy of Impulsiveness: The first murder. Coriander, upon seeing Violet pull out what looks to be a crossbow, immediately bashes her in the back of the head with a brick.
- Transflormation: Manaka's execution. The resulting tree gets placed in the garden, and Dark Dream eventually takes an axe to it.
