This thread is dedicated to image suggestions for pages without pics (including those pulled by Image Pickin'). Guidelines:
- Please read How to Pick a Good Image and Just a Face and a Caption before suggesting an image. Additionally, make sure to source the image in your post.
- If you have multiple suggestions you'd like to field for a single page, that can merit its own thread. Otherwise, use this thread.
- It is recommended that you upload your suggestions as you would like them to be formatted on the page.
- A crowner will be generated with suggestions which will be voted on as normal:
- The crowners will generally run 12-15 items at any given time and may go as high as 20 if there's a backlog of suggestions, so please do not add items to a crowner once it's running.
- After 3 days, any options with a net vote count of ≥10 can be put on their respective pages. After 5 days, this can apply to options with a net vote count of ≥7. Anything below that will need to go the full 7 days.
- After 7 days, generally the unprocessed options that have a positive vote count (2:1) can go up on their respective pages. Old thread rule, no longer enforced
- Suggestions will generally be processed and added to crowners in the order they come into the thread.
- Selected images will be tagged using this template (which goes above the image):

I am irritated by the Gendercide suggestion. Are there men in the crowd or all of them women? This ambiguousness weakens the message, IMO.

It's been a week, so the remaining suggestions with a 2:3 majority of positive votes have been put up on their respective pages. Opened threads for the remainder. Also, You Won't Feel a Thing! was voted up here, but someone put on image on the page while the suggestion was on the crowner; spun that off to its own thread as well.

I also noticed that the image for A Mountain of Tropes was changed without discussion. I didn't think anything of it since it's still a mountain, but should it have been brought to the attention of the community?

If it's from an art site like DeviantArt, you send the artist a note asking permission to use the work. if it's from a professional artist or some such, you need to go through whatever their website has for contacts.
