I'm in favor of renaming and making it IUEO.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. What's the difference between this trope and Bread, Eggs, Milk, Squick?
I'd like to apologize for all this. It's the supertrope to Bread, Eggs, Milk, Squick.
Also, I'd be in favor of making it IUEO.

In-Universe Examples Only is a great first step; heck, it may be enough.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!Would that put all the subtropes under IUEO as well?
I don't think so, but if it would be the case, I'd say decide on a case by case basis. For example, Black Sheep Hit is trivia, and thus cannot be IEUO, but most of the others could be, if they aren't already.
In favor of renaming and making IUEO so it doesn't get misused for any broken trend. I've seen this be used as a synonym for Breaking Old Trends.

If an essential element of the trope is that the strange item be the last one in a list, then several of the sub-tropes would actually just be related tropes.
Re: Black Sheep Hit: I disagree with that being a subtrope, and we may need to look through other tropes in the subtrope list. This trope specifically requires the last item in a list to be the outlier, hence the name; listing Black Sheep Hit as a subtrope (and potentially others) is probably fueling the misconception that The Last Of These Is Not Like The Others is simply about an item in any part of a list being the odd one out.
Edit: I zoned out due to a lack of sleep, and didn't notice that the post right above mine already mentions this (and in a more concise way, to boot). Derp.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Good point. I'll evaluate those today and see which are simply related.
Edit: Well, that didn't take long. From the description, Black Sheep Hit is just related, Noodle Implements is just related, if related in the first place, I'm not sure about the entire Token Index, it probably is merely related however, and Bread, Eggs, Breaded Eggs probably is merely related.

I'll start up a single prop to ensure we have an official tally.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportOne last nudge before I call the crowner tomorrow.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportWell, looks like it's safe to call in favor of IUEO.
I'll add it to the index and we can get to work.
3031 wicks to check including some redirects which may have promoted some of the misuse.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportOne of the two redirects is done and cut! The other has 221 left.
Overall, 2960 to go.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportRedirect has 100 left now!
Main trope has 2833.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportWhat to change Laconic. The Last Of These Is Not Like The Others to?
And then when done, put a commented note saying it was changed by TRS.
So, this is wrong, right?
Webcomic.League Of Super Redundant Heroes:
- Take That!: A trio of them when Josie and her husband get pre-accepted to "fancy preschools".
- First is Xander Charles' School for the Genetically Gifted, where Josie expresses concern over the fact that the school is targeted constantly by the "Brotherhood of Evil-Something".
- Second is Hogsworth Academy, where not only do the students learn only magic to the exclusion of science and math, but there's an entire house filled with Wizard Nazis.
- And last is Fancington's, [[The Last Of These Is Not Like The Others a more traditional "fancy pre-school"]]... but with a tuition of $30,000 per year.

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Yeah, the laconic could be tweaked a little.
As for the example, if they were listed in that order in the work, then it could pass. The main problem, though, are the broken links. When in doubt, pull the pothole, I suppose.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope Report- O_O ... The links were working this morning... O_O
- Well, they weren't working for me either.

I guess they didn't like the area where I work.
Anyways, now that I properly looked through the links, there are unrelated strips in between each. I'd err at the side of caution and pull the TLOTINLTO pothole.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope Report- So, I could replace it with Non Sequitur, as that's the broader Super-Trope, right?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Works for me.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportI will see about going through the wicks again, to ensure we cover any newly added wicks.
I'll go through the redirect (has 103 wicks) so it can be cut.
Main page has 2950 total.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportRedirect down to 50; I'll finish this weekend.
Main has 2904 (I found some valid wicks, so moved them thus, hence why the differences do not match up).
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportIf it's only the last item that stands out, then the page image is misleading since it's the 3rd item out of 4 that stands out.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.
Crown Description:
Currently, the trope is intended for lists in dialog. However, it's occasionally used as a pothole magnet when the last item in a list stands out, or if something's simply an odd one out. It was proposed to restrict to in-universe examples.
There was a prior discussion for this trope two years ago, but it clocked out.
Was inspired to restart discussion after removing a case of misuse a few weeks ago.
As wicks are bound to change after two years, I will generate a fresh wick check. Due to the amount of wicks, I will be checking not 50, but 55 (square root of 3019 rounded up). Correct uses are (usually) dialog-based, though I did see some correct uses in other formats.
Avoiding Character sheets if possible to prevent skewed readings. Main/ will be avoided as well.

I'm thinking a rename is in order, though I can get behind making it IUEO (was suggested in the last discussion). Thoughts?
