Charles Van Dell Johnson (August 25, 1916 – December 12, 2008), better known as Van Johnson, was an American actor of screeen, stage, and radio, primarily known for his roles with MGM during The Golden Age of Hollywood in the 1940s and '50s.
He was married to Eve Abbott (ex-wife of Keenan Wynn) from 1947 to 1968, and had a daughter and two stepsons with her. He died at the age of 92.
