The Past Division

Drake Hothands

"Who are you and why are you impeding on my meat beating?"

A flameborn dwarf life cleric who died in battle. Played by Nic.

Tropes:

• Badass Baritone: He has a gruff voice.
• Badass Preacher: As is inherent in a Dungeons & Dragons cleric.
• Combat Medic: Being a life cleric means he's the Past Division's main healer, but he's not exactly a slouch with a warhammer or damaging spell either.
• Cool Mask: Wears one over the bottom half of his face.
• Deadpan Snarker: Most of the podcast's one-liners come from him.
• Drop the Hammer: He carries a flame-imbued warhammer.
• Good is Not Nice: He isn't nice to...anyone, really.
• The Medic: He's a life cleric.
• Our Dwarves Are All the Same: He's the most archetypal of the party members, being a dwarf cleric.
• Playing with Fire: As a flameborn dwarf, he knows (and frequently abuses) the spell Produce Flame.

Lucky Twice

"Spare!"

A tiefling chronomancer who drank herself to death. Played by Shelby.

Tropes:

• Action Girl: She can manipulate time, but she's also no slouch with a quarterstaff.
• The Baby of the Bunch: She's seventeen years old, when everyone else in the party is a young adult by their races' standards.
• Horned Humanoid: She's a tiefling.
• Ironic Name: "Lucky" is probably not the most appropriate name for her.
• Only Sane Man: She seems to care the most about the missions the team goes on.
• Squishy Wizard: According to the sheets posted on the show's official Tumblr, her dump stat is dexterity, which means her armor class is abysmal.
• Street Urchin: She has the urchin background.
• Time Master: Both in the sense of her actual job title and her chronomancer abilities.
• Time Stands Still: Although she hasn't used it yet, the Staff of Distort Time she carries is capable of stopping time.

Lolli Rose

"What are the pentacles doing with the wands!? This is not how I store my deck!"

A deepwood carolili tarocchi who died of dysentery. Played by Kenzi.

Tropes:

• Action Girl: She's clearly an expert at dodging, at least, given how hard it is for enemies to hit her.
• Cards of Power: She uses a deck of tarot cards to channel her spells.
• Plant Hair: She's got flower petals in place of hair.
• Plant Person: She's a member of a race of sapient flower people.
• Species Surname: Lolli Rose the Plant Person.
• Team Prima Donna: She has a bit of a bratty streak.
• Valley Girl: Her voice has shades of this.

Peter Panda

"I already like this guy already."

A panda bearkin shinobi who was burned at the stake. Played by Silas.

Tropes:

• Bears Are Bad News: While not evil by any means, he's definitely strong and intimidating.
• The Big Guy: Physically the largest and strongest of the Past Division.
• Drop the Hammer: He carries a huge maul.
• Expy: Resembles a Pangoro.
• Funny Animal: He's a huge anthropomorphic bear.
• Ninja: He's a shinobi.
• Pandaing to the Audience: He's a panda bear.
• Species Surname: Peter Panda the panda bear.

The Guardians Of Time

Chronos

The God of Time, and a giant golden dragon.

Tropes:

• Our Dragons Are Different: Like most Dungeons & Dragons dragons, he mostly follows the archetype of the Western dragon, but he also happens to be a Physical God.
• Physical God
• Time Stands Still: According to Brock, he has the ability to stop time.

Amelia

The Guardian of Present, who takes the form of a modern-day businesswoman.

Tropes:

• A God I Am Not: According to Chronos, the other four Guardians are not, technically, gods.
• Giant Woman: All of the Guardians are giants.

Brick

The Guardian of Paradox, who takes the form of a heavily-scarred man in full armor.

Tropes:

• A God I Am Not: According to Chronos, the other four Guardians are not, technically, gods.
• Drop the Hammer: He carries a warhammer with a clock built into it.

Aros

The Guardian of Future, who takes the form of a handsome man carrying a guitar.

Tropes:

• A God I Am Not: According to Chronos, the other four Guardians are not, technically, gods.
• Hot God: Described as "ruggedly handsome".
• The Rock Star: Has the appearance of one, anyway.

Diana

The Guardian of Past, who takes the form of a beautiful woman.

Tropes:

• A God I Am Not: According to Chronos, the other four Guardians are not, technically, gods.
• Giant Woman: All of the Guardians are giants.
• Hot God: Outright described as beautiful.

Other Astral Plane Denizens

Brock

A cloud person whose clones make up the entire staff of the Astral Plane.

Tropes:

• Clone Army: Technically serves as one of these to the Astral Plane.
• Malicious Misnaming: Thorn calls him "Prick".
• Servile Snarker: He has trouble resisting the urge to poke fun at the Past Division, especially Drake.

Thorn

"You must be the new recruits. I have to say, I thought you'd be taller."

The Battle Master who runs the gym.

Tropes:

• Cool Old Guy: He's level twenty and in his late fifties.
• Trickster Mentor: He gets a kick out of messing with the Past Division.

The Party

A human monk. Played by Silas.

• Bare-Fisted Monk: Usually.
• Cool Old Guy: He's 64 years old.

Stephen

A half-elf Great Old One warlock. Played by Nic.

Tropes:

• Affably Evil: He may be the party face, but he does kind of sacrifice enemies to Cthulhu.

Toren

A half-orc barbarian. Played by Kamron.

Tropes:

• Insult Backfire: One of Stephen's favorite ways to criticize the party's tactics is by calling them barbaric. Toren's response, always, is "I'm a barbarian!"
