Nijisanji EN's eighth wave of talent made their debut in June of 2023. They exist in the same continuity as Oriens and Dytica, who were added to the main branch earlier in the year.

Krisis

    In general
  • Breaking Old Trends: Since they are an extension of the same project as Oriens and Dytica, Krisis is the first EN wave without debut trailer one-liners or a debut song.
  • Fighter, Mage, Thief: Vantacrow, Vezalius, and Wilson, respectively. Vanta is the team’s muscle who relies on his fists and his endurance to take down his enemies, Zali is The Medic and a powerful magic user, and Wilson is a speed-oriented combatant who can improvise with any weapon to get the job done.
  • Signing Off Catchphrase: "3, 2, 1...Touchdown!"
  • Spear Counterpart:
    • During LazuLight's final Lunch Lady collab, they discuss that Krisis is a male version of their unit. With Zali being Elira, Vanta being Finana, and Willy being Pomu. ...And Claude being Petra.
    • Soon later, this happens again, but with zuttoღo, due to fanart of Krisisis having emerged where they wear zuttoღo's outfits and are called zuttobros instead. While it's acknowledged on-stream, Millie absolutely hates the idea because she doesn't want Wilson to wear her outfit, but Petra doesn't mind Claude wearing her outfit. However, in order for Krisisis to gain the zuttobros label, they need the okay from all four members.
  • Transformation Sequence: All three of them can switch between a "standard" and a "hero" mode, the latter of which gives them masks and other accessories.
  • Xtreme Kool Letterz: Their unit's name is the word "crisis" spelled with a K.

    Vezalius Bandage

Vezalius Bandage [JP: ヴェザリウス バンデージ]

"Quaso!'

"A medical soldier who turned even his own body into an experimental subject in his efforts to save others.
The true meaning of his eccentric healing lies behind the bandages."

Debut date: June 25, 2023
Birthday: November 17
Languages spoken: English, Japanese, French
Illustrator: Makitoshi0316
Channel: YouTube
Social Media: Twitter

Age: Healthy
Height: 172 cm (plus 6 cm heels)
Occupation: Medic

  • Combat Medic: While his primary role in Krisis is as a healer, he's certainly not a slouch when it comes to taking down foes. Just ask those crystal beasts he drove to extinction to avenge his sister.
  • Does Not Like Spam: Despises eggplant to the point of pixelating it on his debut slideshow.
  • Everything Sounds Sexier in French: A lot of Zali's charm comes from his fluency in French, his French accent, and the fact that he embraces some of the French stereotypes. In Luca's third episode of the "NIJI EN Dating Show", Zali tries to play his French charms as one of his main selling points.
  • Fauxdian Slip: He pulls one in his very first tweet, misspelling his last name as "bondage". As a Bilingual Bonus, the French pronunciation for "bandage" sounds very similar to "bondage".
  • Gratuitous French: It is common for other livers to say something in French whenever he shows up or is talked about.
  • In-Series Nickname: He's most often called "Zali" for short. A few people, such as Ike, also use "Veza".
  • Insistent Terminology: His oshi mark is a roll of bandages, not toilet paper.
  • Interface Screw: Feeds his chat a headache-curing potion during his debut, which causes the screen to warp until he realizes what's going on and gives them another potion to counter the side effects.
  • The Mentor: As one of the best Suika players in NIJISANJI, Zali has taught several fellow heroes and Claude how to play the game and be good at it, preparing them for Doppio's "NIJISuika 2023" tournament. He's called "Sensei" because of that and many of his students advanced to the second day. Zali himself ends up as the runner-up of the tournament, losing to the "Suika Fairy" Seffyna in the final match.
  • National Stereotypes: Zali embraces a lot of French stereotypes, such as the "quaso" meme, his French flirting, one of his fugis being him as a French toast, etc.
  • Offscreen Moment of Awesome: All that the audience gets to see of Zali dispatching the crystal beasts who cursed his sister is him approaching the monsters before fading to him sitting despondently among the rubble.
  • Power Floats: Zali is the sole magic user of Krisis and is usually floating more often than not.
  • Professor Guinea Pig: To help find a cure for the crystal curse afflicting his sister, he injected it into his own body and studied the results. He managed to avoid being completely transformed by it with a solution concocted from the gem of creation.
  • Tragic Keepsake: The feather he wears around his neck was the quill his sister Lia wrote her last words with as she succumbed to crystallization disease.

    Vantacrow Bringer

"Parkour!"

"A trusted ace who executes his work with care and precision.
Famous in the underworld for his business card that reads, "Leave no trace, but leave results."

Debut date: June 25, 2023
Birthday: February 6
Languages spoken: English
Illustrator: bikku
Channel: YouTube
Social Media: Twitter

Age: Classified
Height: 180 cm (plus 2 cm heels)
Occupation: Tyrant

  • Gentle Giant: Tallest of his wave, and looks intimidating at first glance, but he's actually kind and excitable.
  • In-Series Nickname: His name is most often shortened to "Vanta".
  • Meaningful Name: The "Vanta" part of his name is a reference to vantablack, one of the darkest black pigments known to man. The "crow" part of his name is pretty self-explanatory.
  • Pungeon Master: Lists "dad jokes" as one of his likes on his bio, and he is prone to cracking many of them on stream.
  • Slap Yourself Awake: Often does this to himself whenever he starts drifting off on-stream.
  • Stylistic Suck: His lore is mostly told through paper cutouts mounted on Popsicle sticks. Most notably, him fighting 10,000 armed combatants is depicted by him fighting a piece of paper that literally says "10,000 armed combatants".
  • Too Kinky to Torture: Vanta is a masochist and a bottom, and he would gladly die while getting crushed by a sexy lamia.
  • Trademark Favorite Drink: Boba tea, especially the taro-flavored kind. He enjoys it so much that he even based the Vantacrew mascot design on the tapioca pearls that are found in boba.

    Yu Q. Wilson

Yu Q. Wilson [JP: ユウ Q ウィルソン]

"Do you like bread? And water?"

"A playful but skilled hitman, he greets both friend and foe with enthusiasm.
Proficient with any weapon, there's no job he can't do!"
— Official profile

Debut date: June 25, 2023
Birthday: September 4
Languages spoken: English, French
Illustrator: Mebaru
Channel: YouTube
Social Media: Twitter

Age: Old enough to drink
Height: 175 cm (with heels)
Occupation: Hitman

  • Affectionate Nickname: Millie calls him "Lil' Willy", thanks to the countless of hours that they spent together on Project Zomboid. However, considering what else "Willy" can mean, he also considers it an Embarrassing Nickname.
  • The Benchwarmer: He was a setup pitcher in Kenmochi's Koku Academy during the NIJISANJI Koshien 2023. He's brought in to substitute for relief pitcher Emma★August during the second-to-last inning of the match against Ibrahim's Empire Corvus High School, which made him basically a substitute for another substitute. Wilson had the unfortunate moment of having his pitch turned into a home run almost as soon as he was brought into the match, resulting in the opponent gaining three more points who were already in the lead. On Twitter/X, his senpais weren't very kind about that moment.
    Wilson: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
    Elira: Wilson...?
    Enna: YU SUCK
Millie: Wilson, YOU SUCK ASS, HAHAHAHAH
Kyo: (who is on the opposing team) LET'S GOOO TEAM, THANK YU!!!
  • Butt-Monkey: He gets bullied a lot by his colleagues, and it's funny.
  • Does Not Like Spam: According to his bio, Wilson doesn't like bell peppers or carbonated drinks.
    • He mentions in his first monetized zatsudan that he also hates mushrooms.
  • Girlish Pigtails: Wilson envisions his hypothetical Distaff Counterpart, "Yuki Wildaughter", having these.
  • Hitman with a Heart: Seems to be a very sweet and friendly person despite his profession.
  • Last-Name Basis: He prefers to be called Wilson, mainly because he finds using his given name to be too familiar for his liking. Him asking his chat to call him Yu during his second Minecraft stream on the EN server is one of the first signs that something is amiss. He also has the tendency to call his senpais by their last names, e.g. addressing Vox as "Mr. Akuma" or Ver as "Mr. Vermillion".
  • Mysterious Middle Initial: Thus far, he's the only liver to have a middle initial at all, and what the Q means remains unconfirmed for the time being. The only other liver who has been told what it stands for is Luca (and he ended up forgetting anyway).
  • Naïve Newcomer: Wilson played this up during his first visit to the EN Minecraft server. Naturally, some of his senpai (namely, Pomu, Kyo, and Sonny) took this as an opportunity to haze the poor guy.
  • Punny Name: His given name and middle initial together are pronounced yukyu in Japanese, which sounds the same as the Japanese term for paid leave.
  • Team Mom: Seems to take this role in the first Krisis Minecraft collab.
  • Tsundere: Played for Laughs, he seems to play this up with Vanta a bit.
