    Jaylen Dalgo

Jaylen

Species: Golden Viper
A golden viper that was given to Kross by Simula. For such a venomous snake, it's a total sweetheart and a little timid.

Tropes

  • Action Pet: Becomes one eventually, once Toon figures out how to move her bloody avatar.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: She may be a timid sweetheart, but she’s still incredibly lethal.
  • Gold-Colored Superiority: You know she’s special since she’s a golden viper.
  • It Can Think: Jaylen is highly intelligent for an animal, able to quickly understand Kross’s strategy when fighting the giant and go along with it.
  • Last of Its Kind: Jaylen is stated to be the last golden viper in the world.
  • Nerves of Steel: Jaylen is remarkably brave. Unlike Lucid, Starjay or Shiloh, she has not been trained to fight, nor is she sapient, and yet she fights alongside Kross in highly chaotic and stressful environments without ever ONCE lashing out in blind panic or running away like you would expect a snake to do.
  • Reptiles Are Abhorrent: Subverted. She’s actually quite friendly. Though the others are rather nervous around her at first.
  • Running Gag: Toon being unable to control her avatar.
  • Somewhere, a Herpetologist Is Crying: The image used for her on Roll20 is a cobra, not a viper.
  • Team Pet: Companion to Kross
  • Ugly Cute: Rather adorable for a snake.

     Lucid

Lucid

Species: Raven
Faerthurin's super-advanced, flying, stealth dinosaur familiar. Has a sharp tongue, a ferocious personality, and an undying loyalty to Faerthurin. Seems to have mellowed out after his near-death experience with the Will-O-Wisp.

Tropes

     Shiloh Emeraldsong

Shiloh

Species: Riding Dog
One of Rose’s earliest memories was finding a lost human family and helping the clan lead them through the forest and back to Directian. As thanks, the family gave an offering of a pup their bitch had given birth to. She named the pup Shiloh and cared for him like the animals had cared for her and the two have become inseparable since that day..

Tropes

  • Action Pet: Eventually, once Rose actually lets him start fighting.
  • Beast of Battle: He handles things in melee, while Rose supports from the back.
  • Big Friendly Dog: One of the least hostile companions.
  • Bodyguarding a Badass: By the time of season 2, while Shiloh still handles things in melee for Rose, he’s become so outclassed by her that not only can she summon multiple creatures that are better in melee than him, not only can she transform into a creature that’s better in melee than him, but even just in her human form, her close range abilities far outstrip his own.
  • Canine Companion: A riding dog and companion to Rose.
  • Canis Major: An enormous dog, large enough for a 15 year old girl too comfortably ride atop him.
  • Evil-Detecting Dog: Not “Evil” precisely, but he is the first to realise that Jeminya is a werewolf in the arena.
  • Heroic Dog: Bravely fights to defend his master.
  • Horse of a Different Colour: He’s effectively Rose’s mount.
  • Team Pet: Companion to Rose

     Starjay Malum

Starjay

Species: Pegasus
Jeminya's loyal steed. Little is known about him as he only recently appeared.

Tropes

    Tantomile

Tantomile

Voiced by: Aramau
Species: Cat
Rime's familiar, a playful black and white cat.

Tropes

  • Furry Reminder: Cats tend to see birds as either enemies or prey. Subverted, though, in this case, as Tantomile just wants to play with Lucid. Lucid, however, could care less.
  • Ridiculously Cute Critter: SHE'S A KITTY!
  • Talking Animal: She speaks Sylvan.
  • Vocal Dissonance: Not in terms of her own body shape, but in terms of her owner. Rime speaks with a very deep, low voice, whereas Tantomile's voice is very high pitched.
