- ''Series/CriminalMinds'': The [[SerialKiller UnSub]] of "Rabid" kills his victims by infecting them with rabies. When a report comes in about a woman who is frothing at the mouth, Rossi mournfully looks down at his fresh coffee with extra foam then throws it away.
- ''{{Series/Mentalist}}'': The BodyOfTheWeek of "Ruby Slippers" was found handcuffed to the steering wheel of a burned-out car in the alley behind a drag queen cabaret. Although they are cleared of involvement in the murder, Jane still suspects they know more than they are admitting. [[spoiler: The body was an unclaimed corpse that the drag queens burnt in the car to [[FakingTheDead fake the death]] of the supposed victim so he could run away from his abusive life and join their cabaret.]]
- ''{{Series/Gotham}}'': The third person to be killed by "[[Recap/GothamS1E3TheBalloonman The Balloonman]]" was Cardinal Quinn who was also known on the street as the "Diddling Priest" because of multiple accusations of sexual abuse.
- ''Series/JudgingAmy'': In "Slade's Chophouse", Bruce looks forward to a visit from his old friend, Father Ted. Bruce is rather surprised that he goes by Teresa now and is in town for the final surgery.
—>'''Amy''': [[ExpectingSomeoneTaller Thought you'd be shorter]]...and a guy.
This trope belongs Star Wars Characters trope specifically Star Wars Criminals section with said trope Specifically meant for Gorga The Hutt.
Canon Immigrant: Gorga was first introduced in the Legend continuity where it was established he was Jabba's nephew.
Another one for Steven universe (It's more of a case of justified addition but still.)
Adults Are Useless: Steven goes missing for at least a week and the Gems never notice. justified in that they may still be hunting for a monster they thought left the island. After all, they did say they were warping underwater before Steven Left.
It should be "Steven goes missing for at least a week, and the Gems never notice." you have two complete sentences and you need a comma between them. "Justified" should be capitalized, and is "Left" a special word in-universe? Normally it would be lower case.
My alignment is Chaotic Cute.No left as in leave which still fits as left is a definition as seen here.
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/leave
I do see your point about "Justified" and the comma thing.

never-mind I saw the second "left" in that sentence, my apologies.

- The motto of the ''Series/StrangeHillHigh'' school is "Tres Nos Salvabunt" which can be translated to "three will save us". Considering the number of times that the three protagonists have saved the school...
- ''Series/{{Utopia}}'': [[spoiler: Geoff]] attempts to {{Blackmail}} [[TheConspiracy The Network]] with a note made from the newspaper headlines calling for him to step down. It does not fool them for a second.
—>'''Leah''': (''looks at the note'') Newsprint. How very traditional.
- ''WesternAnimation/AmericanDad'' "Wheels & the Legman and the Case of Grandpa's Key": [[TheGreys Roger]] has to buy something from a clerk before he will give any information, so he pays for a photocopy of his ass and a novelty pencil. [[spoiler: It is accidently submitted to a cute pet website and gets published as a picture of a baby hippo butt.]]
- ''{{WesternAnimation/Unsupervised}}'': The twin firemen from the "Fires & Liars" episode ''were'' attractive enough to be featured in a calendar but let themselves go when people started losing respect in them. Now they are slobs who spend most of their time getting fat from consuming vast amounts of ribs.
Third example currently reads like Roger is the one giving information. Should probably be "will be given" not "will give."
My alignment is Chaotic Cute.- ''Website/BashOrg'': Quote [[http://bash.org/?23396 #23396]] is a parody of internet arguments using generic descriptions, complete with someone spouting a NonSequitur.

- ''Series/StrangeHillHigh'': Near the end of "Ken Kong", the titular gigantic student grabs [[DeanBitterman Abercrombie]] and climbs the school while [[{{Cloudcuckoolander}} Templeton]] flies around in a biplane that he built in woodwork class.
- ''WesternAnimation/TheReplacements'': When Shelton takes off his NerdGlasses in "The Frog Prince", he suddenly becomes broad-shouldered and handsome. Apparently, the glasses were so heavy that they caused him to slump over and gave him an overbite. Todd tries taking off Shelly's glasses but it just makes her look dorkier.
—>'''Seirra''': Hands off, Riley! We saw him without his glasses first!
- ''WesternAnimation/BewareTheBatman'' "[[Recap/BewareTheBatmanS1E4Safe Safe]]": When {{ComicBook/Katana}} becomes aware that the League of Assassins has managed to gain access to [[BigFancyHouse Wayne Manor]] to get at Jason, she stuffs a bed with pillows and takes him into the panic room. [[ArrogantKungFuGuy Silver Monkey]] actually falls for it.

This is for the new ep Gravity Falls "Society Of The Blind Eye"
Memory-Wiping Crew: The Society Of The Blind Eye job is to erase the memories of the citizens of Gravity Falls of all the weird stuff that exist in town.
I Am a Humanitarian: Jeff admitted that if they didn't grab that pie he was going to eat one of the other gnomes, specifically Steve.
edited 28th Oct '14 1:34:47 AM by gorg
Serious problems with both.
In the first example, it should read "The Society's job" unless you're talking about a job called "Society." Change the next phrase to "memories of of the citizens of Gravity Falls" because the way it reads right now they're erasing the actual citizens. And it should be "exists" not "exist."
Second example: Tense issue. You've mixed past and present tense. You need to change the verbs to either admitted/didn't/was, or admits/don't/is. And "grabbed" should be "grab" in both cases.

My alignment is Chaotic Cute.1735: In The Glasses Gotta Go, it seems "Sheldon" and "Sierra" are spelt wrong.
"The Society Of The Blind Eye job" still needs to be "The Society's job", as Terrie said. Apostrophe-s gives the possessive form. Another option is "The job of the Society of the Blind Eye". "Exist" should be "exists", as Terrie said. I would add a "the" before "town", though that may not strictly be necessary.
Not right away, not right awayHello, people, I'm from Argentina, and even when I understand fairly well this language, I have not a real practice writing it. So, it's not unlikely that my many, maaaany new articles (I'm in an Argentine Literature project) need a review by native speakers to polish the edgy sides of my prose. My mind thinks in Spanish, and I later translate my thoughts into English, so any help is welcomed.

- ''Series/WizardsVsAliens'' "The Thirteenth Floor": The Wyvern House building has a history of people disappearing without a trace from the elevator as it passes the non-existent 13th floor. - ''Series/LostGirl'' "[[Recap/LostGirlS1E10TheMourningAfter The Mourning After]]": While investigating the suicide of a woman, Bo finds out that she was regularly attending a speed dating event. Bo and Kenzi try to find out more information by joining in. [[spoiler: An Alabaster, sort of an EvilCounterpart to succubi that feeds off people's shame about sexual desire, is using the speed dating event as a feeding ground. The shame spiral he induces in his victims so he can feed off them is causing them to commit suicide.]]
- ''WesternAnimation/AdventureTime'' "[[Recap/AdventureTimeS5E41ThePit The Pit]]": Lady and Finn watch an old video left by Joshua to find out how to [[spoiler: rescue Jake from Kee-Oth.]] Unfortunately, Jake had recorded over parts of the video with a re-enactment of a scene from [[ShowWithinAShow Heat Signature 2]] and some very adult messages for Lady.
—>'''Finn''': Hold on, BMO, I feel like we should watch more of this video for clues, but you gotta promise me that I'm not going to see more weird Jake stuff.

Hello, Erechel. One thing I notice is that many examples on those trope pages need more context; instead of stating that a trope occurs or that it is subverted, averted, parodied, and so on, the examples need to say how the trope occurs, or how it is more specifically played with. On Inodoro Pereyra (el renegáu) specifically, the Affectionate Parody, Partially Civilized Animal and Polly Wants a Microphone examples seem appropriately fleshed-out, but the others need more context. The Trivia and YMMV pages have good, solid examples, though.
Ah, okay. Google seemed to be wrong on Shelton there.
"13" within the spoiler also needs a "th" after it.
Instead of "sort of an", I would say "a sort of" since that clause seems to be defining "Alabaster".
I'd remove the pothole for Elvis and just say "Music/ElvisPresley".
Not right away, not right away- In chapter 5 of ''{{Literature/V}}'' by Creator/ThomasPynchon, Benny Profane hunts with the Alligator Patrol in the sewers of Manhattan. According to the narration, he had already managed to bag four gators and a rat during his first two weeks on the job.
- [[BigBad Neko]] from ''{{WesternAnimation/Kobushi}}'' is a megalomaniacal Maneki Neko that believes he is the god of the restaurant and is determined to eat the [[AnthropomorphicFood anthropomorphic sushi]] that live there.
- ''Series/XenaWarriorPrincess'': Gabrielle is knocked unconscious in the "Married with Fishsticks" episode and has a dream [[WholePlotReference with a plot similar]] to ''Film/{{Overboard}}'' but with mermaids. While the adults are all standard mermaids, the three children are a seal-boy, a boy with spines like an urchin and a weird looking baby/squid hybrid.
- ''Series/StrangeHillHigh'': When Mitchell accidently erases his school records in the "Mitchell Who?" episode, it erases any memory or trace of him from existence. Mitchell has trouble getting anyone to help restore the records since they immediately forget him being there after looking away.

This is for the Literature/Star Wars: Tarkin
Cruel and Unusual Death: The way Tarkin decided to handle a group of pirates. He put all of them in an escape pod then set the coordinate to launch towards the sun, with both pod and the passenger being watched using cameras. This serves to show what will happen to future pirates while also serving to lure any allies to save said captured pirates who try to rescue them to face the wrath of Eriadu fleet.

Seems odd to use "via" that way. Perhaps say "using" instead. My attempt to clarify that last sentence:
- ''{{WesternAnimation/Wakfu}}'': The four princesses from "Miss Moche" ("Miss Ugly") episode were cursed by Osamodas to be hideous because they treated their many suitors horribly and said he was ugly as a [[OurOrcsAreDifferent Bwork]] when he came calling. [[spoiler: At the end, when the curse is lifted, they haven't learnt a thing and are still treating the suitors like garbage.]]
- There are trees around ''WesternAnimation/CampLakebottom'' with shrunken heads hanging from the branches that snap at anyone who gets close.
—>'''Squirt''': Ahhh! Shrunken head! [[IsItSomethingYouEat Can you eat shrunken heads?]]
'''Gretchen''': No, but they can eat us!
- ''ComicBook/AstroCity'': One of the outcast heroes that was recruited by Bravo to become one of the founding members of the Astro City Irregulars was a {{Mutant}} alligator that lived in the sewers of [[CityOfAdventure Astro City]] with the unoriginal name of Alligator.
- ''{{ComicBook/Batman}}'' #577 - "Mike and Allie": While searching for the source of the rats that are infesting the [[ElaborateUndergroundBase Batcave]], Batman finds a blind girl who ran away from home and lived with a group of sewer gators after her [[AbusiveParents abusive foster parent]] flushed her pet alligator down the toilet. She grew close enough to the gators to develop a PsychicLink with them.

- A God Am I: He doesn't try to become a God, but he wants to rewrite the whole universe upside down and declare himself as "evil".
- Chaos Is Evil: It's obvious enough he wants to use Inverse Spirits' power to plunge the whole world into endless chaos and destruction.
- Would Be Rude to Say "Genocide": He constantly use the word "rewrite" as the pretense of "cataclysm".

I need help with editing with this character entry for Girl Genius page:
Euphrosynia Heterodyne Daughter of Clemethious Heterodyne and object of romantic interest of Andronicus Valois, the original Storm King. Very little is known about her for sure, besides the fact that she probably played a significant role in destroying Strom King's regime.
- Arranged Marriage: Her marriage with Andronicus was arranged as a part of peace treaty with the Heterodynes.
- Damsel in Distress: In The Storm King opera, Andronicus first meets her when she is menaced by Ogglespoon. She also ends up kidnapped at the end of the second act.
- The Ghost: She is yet to appear in person, either in the comics or in the novels.
- Mad Scientist's Beautiful Daughter: The opera presents her as a classic example of this trope: beautiful, innocent and a love interest for the hero to rescue from her evil, crazy family. Other sources, however, suggest she was either a type that agreed with daddy's evil plan and faked being in love with the hero to distract him or loved him truly but betrayed him anyway since his success would mean destruction of her town and her people.
- Princesses Prefer Pink: The actress presenting her in the opera wears a pink dress.
- Star-Crossed Lovers: In the opera she and Andronicus are tragically separated when Euphrosynia is kidnapped by Ogglespoon. How things really looked is uncertain, especially since more reliable sources suggest that she may have not been in love with Andronicus at all and only played along to fulfill some plan of the Heterodynes or loved him but betrayed him anyway.

Mad Scientist's Beautiful Daughter should start with "The opera." Otherwise it reads as "Opera" being a person. Same with Princesses Prefer Pink. It should start with "The actress."

My alignment is Chaotic Cute.
@Epi 02 O 3:
Right off the bat, your sentence structure is wrong. You can't join two independent thoughts together using just a comma. Use periods to break them up into separate sentences instead, like this: "Hello. I am from the suspension thread and this is my example. Hopefully this will prove my English is good enough to allow my privileges to be returned to me."
Your example was already covered by doubleyouteeeff.
@jormis29:
You have an extra "the" before "The Androids." Personally, I would also add a comma before the "and" in the list of musicians, but I believe it's optional.
You need another comma after "Nikolai Timoshev." When inserting additional descriptive phrases like that, you need to enclose the phrase in commas.
I would change "middle of the performance" to "middle of a performance." The rest seems more or less acceptable.
The first sentence has problems with agreement. "These sort" should be changed to either "this sort" or "these sorts," depending on your meaning, and either way, "identifications" should be changed to "identification." If you choose to keep "sort" singular, use "identification is"; if you changed it to "sorts," use "identification are."
In your description of the man's height, "foot" should be changed to "feet." Remember, if you put the length/height before the noun, you use "foot," but if you put it after the noun, you use "feet." (For example, you could say, "He was a 6 foot [tall] man," or you could say, "The man was 6 feet tall.") Also, as already pointed out, feet differ from meters in that we usually use inches to be more precise rather than measuring down to tenths of a foot. Thus, it would be more natural to write "6 feet 3 inches tall" instead.
Since that's a lot to take in, I'll give you one example of how you could write that last entry correctly.
