     GameSpazzer/WonderSquid

AKA the Sadist RPer, Spaz has used one character almost consistently throughout the whole thread. She also tends to play rough with her toys.

Cloud Strife

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/310px-Cloud-advent-children-1-1.png

{I don't know if you can hear me or not, but... I have so many things I want to tell you.}

Having been unceremoniously yanked from Fenrir mid-drive by a certain mischievous Cetra and deposited outside the room, at one point before the Traveller mess, Cloud did his best to keep everyone from tearing out each others' throats when conflict arose, going so far as to make two universal rulesnote  . Being a bit of an enigma, he is generally very tight-lipped about his past and does not usually talk much about himself, even when pressed. After a series of unfortunate incidents occurring back-to-back, he is not very well-equipped with coping mechanisms of any kind. Because of the resulting instabilities, Cloud can be a bit of a wild card at times, but is a great asset in a fight regardless.

  • Characterization Marches On/Character Development: A shitload of this happens (unavoidable, really, considering how long he's been at this). Eventually winds up trusting the people in the room a bit more, and cracks jokes and smiles more often. And then things go rapidly downhill following the Traveller arc, and he slowly dissolves into a ball of self-loathing and guilt issues.
  • Knight Templar: Joshua is captured by the Traveller at one point, tortured briefly and then prepared to be used as a sacrifice. When the inhabitants of the room track him down and kill him the first time in a spectacular Boss Fight, Cloud spends an extra few minutes just pounding his face in with his fists after it's over — while smiling.
    • There's also what he did to Light.
  • Leave Me Alone!: So very, very much during the Deluge arc. Once Aven starts pestering him, it doesn't seem to work as well.
  • Mind Rape: Is both on the receiving end of and does it to people frequently.
  • Non-Elemental: The blueish fire he uses, as well as Ultima, which is guaranteed to incinerate anything.
  • Nice Guy: Somewhat unintentional, but it wound up happening somewhere along the line.
  • What Have I Become?: Has small moments of this from time to time. Towards the end of the Vesperia arc, they all but took over his mindset completely.

Alpha (Mike)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Alpha_9426.png

A gamer from Long Island, New York, with a fondness for a virtual reality MMORPG called TOME, Alpha is almost always upbeat and likes getting along with everyone, although being a bit of a shut-in in real life means his social skills aren't as up to scratch as they could be. He appeared in the room after going through a strange door, and is now somehow stuck there in his player character. He is somewhat naive, but makes up for it with enthusiasm for whatever the current goal is, and complete faith in his teammates.

  • Hidden Depths: At one point, he gives a breakdown of how he would slowly turn the group in on themselves until they all criticised and picked each other off one by one, "if it were me". He also has a knack for understanding people.
  • Holy Hand Grenade: In the TTA-verse, lightning is still classified as light.

Kirbopher (Chris)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/TOME_Kirbopher_4206.png

A late but somewhat welcome addition to the party. A friend and rival of Alpha's from TOME, Kirb prefers to keep his personal life to himself. He can be somewhat cocky and short-tempered, but deep, deep, deep, deep, deep down, he still cares for his friends and looks out for their best interests.

     Jamdat369/Strawberry the Second/Azure

Dante

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/300px-Dante_DMC_2767_jpg_100.png
A demon hunter and proprietor of Devil May Cry(his demon hunting business)who, after an especially strenuous mission felt he needed a vacation. After searching his world over for a place he can relax, and failing due to constant demon attacks,he crossed the dimensional boundaries, and found the Room. He soon become attached to the Room and the people he met there. He even set up a new branch of Devil May Cry in the Room, mostly to give him an excuse for visiting very often.

Haseo
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/haseo-xth-form3_2_7051.jpg

Haseo is a player of The World, an online game that's part of a system that may or may not be alive. He used to be a PKK a player killer killer, a sort of vigilante. He went on ths route in order to find the famous PK Tri-Edge. He didn't exactly like what he found. Haseo is not the nicest guy around but he's loyal to those he calls freind.

     pyr0h1tman 8
Pyro is a poster that has been in the RP since before the Traveler arc. He is a Shin Megami Tensei fanboy, loves the number 8 and is pissed that PEOPLE LEFT OFF 8 OUT OF MY USERNAME GRR.

Minato Arisato:

    Rivux/Dusty Pilot

Joined the RP towards the end of the Persona arc. His draw monkey status remains unchanged from the FG.

Yu Narukami

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/P4Protagonist.jpg
The protagonist of Persona 4... the animation. Acts on the same shtick as Minato except that he summons Persona with a card.
  • Cool Shades: Retains the glasses he uses in the TV world. Hasn't had a reason to wear them outside of them, though. Eventually plays it straight when a pair of Kamina sunglasses spontaneously spawn on his face. He wears them a lot.
  • Genre Savvy: Lampshades many aspects of the adventure.
"Is this the part where I say "They just keep coming" and then something smashes down and kills them all and magically stops them from coming?"
  • Katanas Are Just Better: Eventually gains a katana.
  • Plucky Comic Relief: Very silly at times, such things include:
    • Getting worried over fighting a guy in spandex first rather than the fact that he wants to kill him.
    • Telling a young boy that he'll shove his sword up the person that imprisoned him's ass.
    • Saying that he'll go collect information under an alias and in disguise when said that they should be careful with doing so.
    • This might just be his way of dealing with being in a world completely different world from his own.

MegaMan.EXE

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/megaman-exe-cp_8524.jpg
"The wonders of technological advancement!"

A program yanked out from cyberspace into the real world, this troubles him greatly due to this being impossible to happen without some other device to hold him in. Despite being in an environment that shouldn't support him and being separated from his friends, he tries to keep a cool head about this.

Phoenix Wright and Maya Fey

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pw-mf_7612.jpg
Phoenix was called in to represent Yu in the case of Yu Narukami vs Atlantis (coming in via Godzilla), Maya tagged along since she is his assistant. In what should have been a very strange case turned into an adventure for the two of them as they got dragged along into Castlevania along with the others and the opposing prosecutor, Harvey Birdman. Together, with Harvey, they had their own side adventure of hijinks and hilarity.
  • Anime Hair: Phoenix's spiky hair, don't diss it!
  • Brick Joke: The burgers Maya ate earlier near the beginning of the Castlevania arc come up after the hard landing much later on.
  • Genki Girl: Maya, doesn't lose her upbeat attitude even in Castlevania! ...except when she's getting her wits scared out of her, then she freaks out as natural as normally as one would.
  • Giving Someone the Pointer Finger: Would he be Phoenix without it?
  • Heroes of Another Story: Phoenix and Maya were a part of the Castlevania B-Plot which involved leaving Castlevania. Hoo boy did they leave Castlevania... That aside, their antics were largely unexplored during the arc.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Phoenix is the calm, straight man to Maya's quirky personality.
  • Sidekick: Maya is basically Phoenix's sidekick, there's a reason the Castlevania B-Plot typically starts up with some variation with And now with the lawyers...
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Maya's burgers.

Luigi

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/weeg_832.jpg
This second banana to the dynamic Mario duo came crashing into the room some time following the events of the Castlevania arc claiming to have shot himself out of a cannon. It was shortly after that he got entangled in the whole mess of the room in general being present for the destruction of the Room's universe and getting rescued by Chuck Goodrich. He may be just a cut below his normal confidence, and he may be just as cowardly, but he tries his best.
  • Bag of Holding: He keeps a funny little sack that can grow to normal sack size in his shoe, it carries most of his travel belongings and spare power ups.

Karkat Vantas

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/karkat_full_775.jpg
A grumpy troll from the long destroyed planet Alternia. After being unceremoniously placed in the room during a three year meteor trip with a few of his friends, he has been swept up in all the weirdness that accompanies the room. Though he somewhat enjoys the change of pace, he'd very much rather be back on it in case too much time flies by while he's off it.
  • Afraid of Blood: He doesn't take bloodshed too well, and he actively averts his eyes when he sees a lot of it.
  • The Grinch: Downplayed. He doesn't like the holiday all that much, viewing it as excessive fanfare and way too much good spirit in one place, but he doesn't actively try to make it worse for anyone. He even folds and participates in a Secret Santa event after Aven pokes holes in his reasoning to not go shopping.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: He's... touchy. Though he tries to keep it down so it doesn't land him in trouble.
  • Humanity Ensues: During the School Days of Hawthorne High arc. When he learns the truth, he's pretty grossed out and tries not to dwell on that time.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He can be a total asshole, though he can act nice to others in a weird, roundabout, backhanded, grumpy sort of manner.
  • No Indoor Voice: Subverted. Even though he's typically only seen shouting at everybody he knows, he speaks at a normal volume with the room folks so he doesn't piss off the wrong people and get thrown out.

Apollo Justice

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/apollo-justice_4024.jpg
A lawyer that found himself in the TARDIS at the beginning of a new adventure. Thrust right into the middle of all the strangeness, he managed to acclimate relatively well over the few days he meets the party. He presently awaits some method of escaping all the nonsense to return home to his own universe.
  • Hyper-Awareness: So long as he's got his bracelet on, he can stare someone down and look for minute changes in their behavior. It makes his eyes look all buggy and makes him look very weird in general.
  • Ray Gun: Following Keep the Flag Flying, where he had to fight in an emergency situation with sword, he picked up one. Purely for emergencies, however.
  • Rousing Speech: Gives one to the remains of the human refugees in Keep the Flag Flying. It manages to spur them to keep up the fight as a Gear attacks their last safe spot.

Giorno Giovanna

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/giorno_color_7138.jpg
A coolheaded Japanese youth hailing from Italy. He possesses a power known as a Stand, a psychic entity invisible to those without one. His Stand, Gold Experience, allows him to give life to inanimate objects. Though confused by his surroundings, he decides to just bide his time in the room, eventually resulting in him tagging along with the rest of the group.
  • Anime Hair: Specifically noted too, by Travis, who was greatly perplexed by how his "hair turbines" worked.
  • Fighting Spirit: Gold Experience is this, being a Stand. He hasn't had it throw a punch at anyone prior to appearing in the room, however, due to being ripped out prior to the start of Vento Aureo.
  • Green Thumb: One of Gold Experience's abilities. It can give life to objects to create plants that grow in a specific fashion.

     MacDuffy

DUFFSEID NEEDS NO INTRODUCTION.

Aven Turor

A self-titled "Hero For Hire" and skilled alchemist, Aven stumbled across the room one day on his journey and helped himself inside in search of loot. Now, he's found himself wrapped up in the conflicts of the room with everyone else. Despite this, he looks on the bright side, seeing this a chance for adventure and an opportunity for new companionship. Has a serious problem with the concept of fate.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/RoseAndGlove-Alchemist_98x100_4453.gif

  • Chivalrous Pervert: Had a tendency to flirt with Arturia constantly. This aspect of him hasn't been seen as of late, due to a distinct lack of women in the RP...
  • The Heart: Quickly grew into this role as he spent more time with the group.
  • Hidden Depths: What at first seems like a womanizing, plucky borderline comedy relief is revealed to have very personal reasons for wanting to assist the group on their adventures.
  • Large Ham: Turned into this twice. Once was due to a magic gun that turned him into a Lemony Narrator, the other was when he drank the aformentioned "special brew".
  • The Lost Lenore: Turor, the source of his last name, was a priestess he adventured and fell in love with that he failed to save from a tragic destiny thrust upon her. She is what drove him to dedicate his life to Screw Destiny.
  • Plucky Comic Relief: His other major role in the party.
  • Screw Destiny: As mentioned above. Though it's a bit of a subversion. He thoroughly believes in Fate, but is also convinced that it can be fought and beaten. He has dedicated his life to doing just that.

Giygas

Known in the room universe as The Thousand Maws, there is little known so far about it, other than the fact that it is insanely psychically powerful, and it seems to have taken notice of Roomworld...

  • Arc Words: "All Is Not."
  • Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: In its first appearance, the party stumbles upon a building that Giygas has "Marked". Upon entry, they are all brutally Mind Raped into insanity before its presence dissapears and they and the building return to normal. It has not made another physical appearance since, if that was even a physical appearance at all.
  • Fake Memories: Uploads about several billion sets of them into Minato's brain, which he is now forced to live through one at a time in his dreams.

     SR 3 NORMANDY

After a bit of first-time Play-By-Post practice in the Forum Game, Norm has become confident enough to embark on his first full-on adventure.

The Ninth Doctor

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/66076319502329812_8Qn8VmRV_b1_5491.jpg

Right. You can hear me? Good. Listen. All this. The exploding universe. The space ship. The death. It's a Sunday morning for me. Just don't stray too far from me and I'll keep it under control. Trust me. I'm the Doctor.

Fresh from the Time War, the Time Lord known as the Doctor has lost everything he once held dear. Though he still travels the universe, more and more it feels like he is simply running out of shame. He stumbles upon the group completely by chance and has decided they need his help, though it has been some time since he has travelled with anyone. He is dedicated to the mission - perhaps a little too much - and has put his leadership and technical skills to good use. He can shift from bouncy and energetic to irritable and cynical to absolutely terrifying, sometimes in the space of a sentence. He has grown more comfortable around the group over time and swiftly becomes one of their trusted leaders. While his moral convictions occasionally cause him to butt heads with his companions, there is no denying his value to the team.

  • Does Not Like Guns: Though he won't forbid the use of lethal force by the others if he feels it is necessary.
  • Flat-Earth Atheist: While he acknowledges the existence of magic and spirits, he still believes there is a rational explanation for them that he has yet to find. He finds the idea of Satan manipulating the group to be ridiculous.
  • Hypocritical Humour: In spades, though to what extent he is being an ignorant ass and what extent he's trying to rile people up isn't always clear.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Has warmed up considerably to many members of the group, particularly to Daisy, Sagi and Alpha, though he won't hesitate to chew out anyone who lets him down.
  • Knight in Sour Armour: He'll always do the right thing, but he won't always be pleasant about it.
  • The Leader: Has fallen into this role with the group. Is a combination of Type 1 and 3.
  • Non-Action Guy: While he is certainly not cowardly, he is next to useless in a straight up fight. Even when his life depends on it, he has never so much as thrown a punch.
  • "Reason You Suck" Speech: Always seems to have one ready.
  • Rousing Speech: When in a good mood and feeling genuinely optimistic, he'll deliver one of these. In other words, a rare occurence.
  • Smug Super: He is brilliant and he knows it, though he is becoming more modest and willing to accept help as he finds his place in the group.
  • Stepford Smiler: It's hard to tell when he's being genuinely optimistic or putting on a brave face for the others.
  • Surrounded by Idiots: Regards some of his companions as this when he is particularly frustrated, whether it is warranted or not.

     Latverian Badger
Another Forum Game immigrant. Badger had posted in the RP before, around the Vesperia Arc, but only really got into the RP when the Castlevania Arc rolled in. Has now been in every plot since.

Jonathan Morris and Charlotte Aulin

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/RP_1_8687.jpg

YYYAAAAA-HOOO!!!!
Jonathan! Stop goofing around!

A duo of adventurers who are no strangers to the terrors of Dracula's castle. Of course if by terrors, you mean "more asses to whoop" as Jonathan would probably say. Jonathan's a cocky fighter with experience wielding many weapons, while Charlotte's a logically thinking witch who has a natural talent in magic. And together, they fight crime! vanquish evil!

  • Ancestral Weapon: Jonathan's weapon of choice, the classic Vampire Killer whip of the Belmont family.

Lynne

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/RP_2_1795.jpg

It's scary what a girl can get used to, huh?

A detective from an unspecified period of time around the 1970's or 80's (none of us are too sure). Upbeat and cheerful, Lynne suddenly finds the whole world crashing down on her when she happens upon the room at the start of the Spaceship Arc. Despite going through some traumatic experiences, Lynne keeps things optimistic as much as she can. To make things more complicated however, her time travelling the multiverse has started unlocking some strange memories in her. Memories of a murder, an execution, and a travelling ghost. But what could they mean?

  • Laser-Guided Amnesia: A strange subversion. She's been getting some lost memories back over time, but logically, they're of things that never happened.

Millia

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/milliabust1_4811.jpg

You can't just let despair get to you so easily! Why? Why do you think it's impossible?! It has to be possible! You can't give up! If you do then...then what have I been...hoping for...?

A young orphan of Russian heritage, found as a typical street thief during the Keep The Flag Flying arc. When it ended, she asked if she could come with the group.

  • Alternate History: This version of Millia has managed to escape the Assassin's Guild at an earlier age than in canon, and does not have a Forbidden Beast.
  • Broken Bird: To an extent. But her stalwart hope for a better future keeps her from utterly cracking.
  • Get A Hold Of Yourself Man: Gives Shinji Ikari one of these.
  • Not So Harmless: A sweet, caring and emotional kid. Also has more than a brief knowledge of how to kill a man in one blow.

Millia Rage

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/milliabust2_6527.jpg

Hm...you see, in my childhood, I've always told myself that things were going to better, even when they got worse and worse, I held on. Now, of course, you might've just called me naive back then. But I'd like to think a little naivete helps us get by once in a while.

An older, colder and more deadly alternate version of Millia. A lot has happened in the decade or so that the above Millia did not get to experience.

  • Alternate History: This Millia did not escape the Assassin's Guild at an earlier age and as a result; did have the Forbidden Beast Angra implanted in her.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Has a good bit of baggage added on top of what the younger Millia experienced.
  • Deadpan Snarker: To separate her from her more slightly more innocent counterpart.

     Thespacephantom
That one new guy. Joined at the end of the Spaceship arc.

Naked Snake

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Snakeforthatonerp_4689.jpg

Ryu: CIA?
Snake: More or less.

After saving the world from nuclear Armageddon back in 1964, a soldier codenamed Naked Snake is christened "Big Boss" by America for slaying his teacher and adoptive mother, known as The Boss, from whom he also inherits the title of "The Greatest Warrior of The Twentieth Century."

...

Of course, Naked Snake hasn't done any of that yet. He's just a soldier on a mission for the US government, who somehow made his way to a spaceship/restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Whether he ends up becoming a broken shell of a man who lives only for battle remains to be seen.

     Eldritchseer

Eldritchseer decided to come to the RP to share his... odd sense of humor with all people. Joined during Deluge.

Francis York Morgan. Real name: Francis Zach Morgan

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/FKintheCoffee_858.jpg
What do you think, Zach?

A FBI agent with a lot of weird mannerisms, but a big talent in the field of profiling. He is very passionate about the cases he investigates, as well as getting his daily cup of coffee. Just call him York. That's what everyone calls him.

  • Seen It All: York is raely fazed by the weirdness around him.
  • Badass Normal: York is just a weird FBI agent, and yet he hasn't been torn to shreds as as of this writing.

Knight Solaire of Astora
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/praising_the_sun_poster_custom_6988.jpg

A humble knight of the sun, kind of crazy, eccentric, if you will, Solaire seeks to be kind, do justice, and find his own sun, what that last one means is up to interpretation.

  • Anti-Villain: During the Gear Arc, he refused to harm people who he didn't find capable.
  • Freak Out/Heroic BSoD: After regaining his memories, he started off screaming and sobbing, and is now just regretful to the extreme.

Dark Sun Gwyndolin
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ds-gwyndolin-render_1191.png
Cast aside thine ire!

Lastborn of Gwyn, guardian of the deserted city Anor Londo. Exceedingly arrogant and underhanded, with some psychological issues to match, Gwyndolin is more unpleasant than the snakes that compose his lower body.

  • Pride: Is exceedingly arrogant and self-centered.

     Higginbid

A forum game immigrant who peeked in at the beginning of the The Castle Of Dreams arc. Officially joined mid Spaceship arc.

Cyborg Noodle

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cyborgnoodle2_1875.gif

Noodle: "(i want to do that again)"
Noodle: "(how about you karkat)"
Karkat: "NOODLE, I DON'T KNOW WHY IN THE FUCK YOU'D BE EQUIPPED WITH A PARACHUTE, BUT I DON'T FUCKING CARE BECAUSE WE DIDN'T DIE THERE!! I NEVER WANT TO DO THAT AGAIN SO LONG AS BREATH DRAWS FROM MY RESPIRATORY SYSTEM."
-Cyborg Noodle and her trusty companion Karkat after miraculously surviving a spaceship crash.

After a long, complicated, dangerous adventure, an offbeat gunslinging gynoid tags along with our heroes mid spaceship arc, only to soon disappear for a whole plot. Returning at the start of the fragments and reflections arc, Noodle decides to fulfill her original purpose: help the organics. Nobody can really ever tell what she's thinking, as she cannot speak. Energetic, precise, and always ready for action, she gets along with the others very well, despite her unusual personality, and possible lack of a soul.

  • Drives Like Crazy: She pilots the roomship temporarily, until the roomship crashes and is captured by the military. Her driving skills are questionable, but she gets the job done.
  • Easily Detachable Robot Parts: Bits of her are prone to coming off without warning. Even so much as a handshake can rip her entire arm out of its socket.
  • Hyperspace Arsenal: She carries a ridiculous arsenal of firearms. They coat almost every inch of her body.
  • Odd Friendship: With really anyone she warms up to.
  • Slasher Smile: Even when genuinely pleased, Noodle can never really smile like any normal human being.

    Mobile Leprechaun/Globster A-GoGo
An immigrant from the forum game, just as goofy as ever despite her best attempts to stay serious. Her slow typing is only exacerbated here, resulting in much ninja-ing.

Gordon Freeman

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Gordon_Freeman.jpg

"..."

The silent protagonist of the Half-Life series. His muteness is apparently a product of stress. Appeared seemingly out of nowhere during the Vesperia arc. Communicates via an erasable whiteboard he found lying around.

  • Hipster: Shows some traits of this, what with being a geeky Seattleite and all. Definitely has the glasses for it, too.
  • Mr. Fixit: Isn't exactly a Gadgeteer Genius, but is decent at making repairs to broken machines or damaged wiring. Having built a butane-powered tennis ball cannon when he was only 6 certainly helps.
  • The Quiet One: Even his handwritten notes are short and laconic. It should be noted that Mobile uses his silence to explain his lack of action or dialogue whenever she's absent for a while, which tends to happen a lot.
  • Team Dad: Played this role to an extent in the Theme Park arc and the adjacent filler due to being one of the oldest party members at the time.

Proto Man/Blues

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mega_man_classic_character_sheet_proto_man.jpg

Dr. Light's first creation, an enigmatic, independent robot who looks like a young teenager. Randomly teleported in during the Deluge arc. Is well traveled and kind of a loner, but is willing to help those in need.

     josh 6243

Magical Erudite Junon/High Priestess of Prophecy

Junon is the High Priestess of a group of Magicians known as Prophecy. She was travelling on a journey of self-enlightenment until she arrived in The Room.

  • Feminine Women Can Cook: One of Junon's hobbies is cooking. During the Keep the Flag Flying arc, she cooked a delicious plate of gnocchi in tomato sauce for a group of Knights she only knew for a few hours.
  • Heroic BSoD: Upon seeing Testament's scythe, she was reminded of the Reaper of Prophecy incident and her mind shut down.
  • Instant Runes: Whenever she casts a spell, runes appear in the air. Sometimes, these runes need to be touched in order to be activated.
  • Rose-Haired Sweetie: The pink-haired Junon is very optimistic and cheery. She also cares for the well-being of the others.
  • Stripperiffic: Most of the time, Junon wears a revealing outfit.
  • Tarot Motifs: Junon's name comes from the Swiss Troccas tarot deck, which uses Juno or Junon in place of The High Priestess card. Her title also comes from the Tarot Deck.

Retired Players

     Armored Fury
An immigrant from the Forum Games thread.

Alexei Yaroslavich Neudachnik/Alex

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Alex_Neudachnik_Full_body_shot_574.jpg

A veteran Ukrainian Stalker, joined between the Spaceship arc and Deluge arc.

  • Crazy-Prepared:
Alex: Good thing I packed 60 rolls of bandages before I left.
  • Embarrassing Last Name: His surname literally means "Unlucky Guy" or "Loser".
  • Never Gets Drunk: Gets called by the Doctor after consuming a large amount of booze and still speaks coherently.
  • Quick Nip: Often seen with a bottle of vodka or energy drink in his hand.
  • Seen It All: Admittedly, he have seen some very strange things even before coming to the room.

     Lilqueendaisy

Daisy

This is Daisy before she became a trainer. Met the group during Vesperia arc and now is following them around with her charmander Flame. Then grew in Deluge arc.

    Randomman 5
Joined in the middle of the Castlevania arc. Has no idea what he's doing, but is good at acting like he does.

Bang Shishigami

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Bang_4474.png

"I've never met a problem I couldn't solve by nailing it!"

Idiotic ninja of Ikaruga and self-proclaimed Hero of Justice. Showed up during the Castlevania arc, claiming to have gone to the castle to destroy the evil within. He met up with the group in a haven and joined them after they learned they were after the same thing.

  • Alternate Timeline: Is specifically stated to have come from his Gag Ending in Continuum Shift (where he is shot out of a cannon). This leads to an...interesting conversation when Jin Kisaragi shows up, this Jin being from the Continuum Shift True Ending. It's also a way of differentiating him from the Bang previously played by another player.
  • Back from the Dead: Died after the fight with Death and "Somacula". He was revived by Aven and Charlotte.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: After being "vampirized" by a giant bat, he is ordered by Soma to kill everyone.
  • Combination Attack: "Bangsurfing" with Aven. Must be seen to be believed.
  • Idiot Hero: Many, many examples, the first being his reason for joining the other characters - he went to Castlevania to "destroy its evil," despite not knowing what said evil was.
  • Improbable Weapon User: Gets a surprising amount of mileage out of the 55-inch nail he carries around.
  • Theme Music Power-Up: His Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan. Played Dance of Illusions while Bang was under Somacula's control, and was once stolen and used by Graham.
  • Highly-Visible Ninja: Has done absolutely nothing remotely resembling stealth thus far.

Sagi

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Sagi_Large_Image_3527.jpg

Well, if I can help someone, why shouldn't I?

A young spiriter or so he told everyone at first from Hassaleh, a floating continent in the sky. Was accidentally sent to the "Roomiverse" (specifically, the moonbase) near the end of the Castlevania arc when it came into contact with Sagi's as he was using a Save Flower.

  • Power Glows: His arms and wings glow when his heart is joined with Marno's.
  • Sharing a Body: Though Sagi is the one in control, with Marno more of a backseat driver.
  • The Heart: More or less fills this role during the spaceship arc, oftentimes attempting to defuse any arguments or disagreements his comrades (or, very commonly, Marno) have gotten into, with mixed success.
  • Once Done, Never Forgotten: The Doctor repeatedly references the time Sagi accidentally killed the Jakobs CEO.
  • Tranquil Fury: At the Pandoran bandits who locked the group up and stole their equipment for no reason. Eventually changes into a Heroic BSoD when he sees the Pandoran Gun Cult.
  • Unstoppable Rage: His reaction to Kirb's death, culminating in his transformation into one of Malpercio's Afterlings. It took a combined assault from Alpha, Rock and Kiba just to knock him out.
  • Winged Humanoid: His Wings of the Heart, though they don't allow him to fly, only enhance his speed and jumps.

Marno

Ever notice how difficult it is to think about how desperate and hopeless the situation is when you've got a spirit spouting jokes and lame puns every couple of seconds, and all you want to do is smack him in the face?

Sagi's (incredibly talkative and occasionally annoying) Guardian Spirit. Actually the wicked god Malpercio, who destroyed the Baten Kaitos world a thousand years ago.

  • Battle in the Center of the Mind: Does this a few times to break mind control, though it has so far only worked on Rock.
    • Attempted one on Dave/Cloud alongside Motoko. It failed miserably.
  • Deal with the Devil: He and his siblings offered their souls to the Dark Brethren in exchange for the power to defeat Wiseman. It didn't work.
  • I Have Many Names: Tries to invoke this against whatever was inside Alpha when it did the same. In an unorthodox take on this trope, he isn't referring to himself, but his siblings, who make up the rest of Malpercio.
  • I'm Going to Hell for This: A rare non-humorous (especially from Marno) example - when Alpha mentions his theory about everyone actually being in Purgatory, Marno tells him that can't be the case since Marno would be "much lower."
  • Mind Rape: When Alpha used his power on Sagi, Marno was the one who took the full force of it.
  • My Greatest Failure: Destroying the world when he was trying to save it. He tries to hide his guilt by acting cocky and full of himself, proclaiming his title and status every chance he gets to use it. However, his initial reveal has shades of this.
  • O.C. Stand-in: Marno's personality, aside from some potentially snarky dialogue choices, is never elaborated on in-canon. Random has thus expanded this to basically make him a total dick to everyone he meets. Random has literally described Marno's personality as "Me, just with the sound turned up."
  • Plucky Comic Relief: Intentionally invokes this - he notes that it's really hard to focus on how hopeless a situation is when there's a spirit constantly making jokes and wisecracks nonstop.
  • Psychic Static: Notes that any attempts to read Sagi's mind would most likely end up reading his as well, though he's had no chance to test this.
  • Really 700 Years Old: Marno died a thousand years ago. He does not allow anyone to forget this.
  • Shoot the Shaggy Dog: He and his siblings were killed before they could even get close to Wiseman.
  • Sharing a Body: Though Sagi is the one in control, with Marno more of a backseat driver. Also briefly entered Alpha's body to try and drive out whatever was using him, unsuccessfully. Marno even briefly entered Daisy's and Kashi's bodies on separate occasions, giving them both Wings Of The Heart and giving Daisy brief (so brief she never got to use it) access to Sagi's The Godling's Rapture attack.
  • Shoo Out the Clowns: Marno tends to stop talking (or at least stop cracking jokes) whenever things get serious.
  • Shutting Up Now: Says this verbatim when he tries to convince the Pandoran Gun Cult to let him talk to Marcus on the grounds of him being a god, only for the Doctor and Alpha to tell him to keep his mouth shut.
  • The Voice: Literally has no body, and so simply manifests as a voice in the head of whoever he's speaking to.

Ryu Hayabusa

"What the...?!"

Master ninja of the Hayabusa Dragon Clan.

  • Animorphism: Left the Room by somehow turning into a falcon and flying away. Steve? was the only one who noticed.
  • Anti-Hero: Moreso than most Room characters, since he has no problem with killing whatsoever. This leads to a Big "WHAT?!" from Lucario, Sonic and Alpha when they find this out.
  • Bow and Sword in Accord: Said bow can also fire explosive arrows.
  • Katanas Are Just Better: Wields a katana rather than a ninjato, which is what one would expect a ninja to wield.
  • Not So Above It All: Said that he would pass on a snowball fight...then showed up ten seconds later on the roof raining snowballs on everyone.
  • Wall Jump: Did several of these in succession to get out of a deep pit a few of the characters had fallen into.
  • Wise Beyond Their Years: Has shades of this.

Holly Short

"Sorry if humans aren't at the top of my favorite species list."

First female Captain of the Lower Elements Police Reconnaissance division. Doesn't like humans.

  • Action Girl: When held in a chokehold at gunpoint, she chooses to headbutt the demon holding her in the face. Yeah.
  • The Fair Folk: Is an elf, one of the seven families of fairies.
  • Fantastic Racism: Hates humans, referring to them as "Mud Men."
  • Must Be Invited: Can't enter a human dwelling unless she's invited in, or she gets sick and risks losing her magic.
  • The Napoleon: Easily one of the shortest characters in the room, but won't hesitate to punch someone who annoys her.
