Character sheet for My Hero Pokedamia
Class 1-A
Izuku Midoriya
Quirk: One for All (officially Aura), Quirkless (formerly)
U.A. Class Status: 1-A Hero Class
The story's protagonist, Izuku is a teenager who desires to be a professional hero and follow in the steps of his idol, All Might, even though he lacks a Quirk. When chance leads to him meeting All Might, he begins his travel to become the next Symbol of Peace.
"One for All", the Quirk All Might passed to him, contains a power stockpile Izuku can draw from to enhance his physical abilities to superhuman levels, but as he cannot handle such an amount of power yet, he trains to enhance his body while using minor portions of said power to boost himself.
- Ability Mixing: So far, it's only happened a couple of times by instinct, but he's been able to mix in Aura with his Smashes a few times.
- Accidental Pervert: He accidentally gropes Hagakure's boob during the Entrance Exam.
- Adaptational Badass:
- He manages to rip Bakugo out of the Sludge Villain.
- He figures out how to use Full Cowl before the Sports Festival.
- Adaptational Personality Change: Between his Pokémon and early training, he becomes more assertive than he was in canon.
- Affectionate Nickname: Several of his classmates refer to him by this.
- Serena calls him "Izu".
- Like canon, Ochako calls him "Deku".
- Hagakure picks "Izi".
- Ashido chooses "Midori".
- Kirishima calls him "Midobro".
- Kaminari calls him "his Pika-bro".
- Asui calls him "Zu".
- Mei first calls him "10 Million", but then switches to "Muscles" after feeling him up (and saves "Future Husband" for a later point).
- Awesomeness by Analysis: Izuku has incredible analytical skills, particularly when it comes down to figuring out Quirks. He uses this during the Sports Festival's second event to counter his classmates' Quirks and Pokémon.
- Berserk Button: Hypocrisy is a big deal to him. He shouts at Aizawa when he disparages his lack of control over his Quirk, and nearly punches Todoroki's head off when the latter reveals himself to be not that different from his father.
- Charles Atlas Superpower: His training with All Might has made him very strong by human standards even without counting One for All.
- Clueless Chick-Magnet: He's got all his female classmates after him and he has no idea.
- Empowered Badass Normal: He starts as a Quirkless fanboy. After the 10 Months of Hell, he gets One for All from All Might. This also awakens his Aura.
- The Leader: When put under a situation of pressure, he can take charge of a team and lead it to victory.
- Oblivious to Love: He's completely oblivious about his female classmates' attraction to him. He also misses the blatant hints that All Might is dating his mother.
- Suppressed Rage: Make no mistake, he's still the cinnamon roll that happily helps anyone that needs it with a smile. But, beneath that, lies a well of rage caused by a decade of being ignored, discriminated, and even attacked by his classmates and teachers, just because he was Quirkless. And now he has less reasons to repress himself.
Eevee
Izuku's first Pokémon, he has been his companion and friend for most of his life.- Healing Hands: He knows Heal Pulse, which he can use to heal other Pokémon. He later discovers he can also use it on humans, but reduced to ameliorating pain, and it tires him out.
- Heroic Lineage: Heavily implied to be the descendant of Nana Shimura's Espeon.
- Mons as Characterization: He represents Izuku's boundless potential.
Pikachu
Izuku's second Pokémon. After saving Izuku and Eevee from a flock of wild Spearows, he decided to stick with them as a friend and partner for almost a decade because he wanted Izuku to be his trainer.- Deadpan Snarker: He's prone to make remarks about what happens to him and around him.
- The Dreaded: All of Class 1-A fears him due to its absurdly powerful attacks.
- Mon Of Kryptonite: Pikachu's attacks are the only ones that manage to ignore Shadow Altaria's resistance.
- Mons as Characterization: Represents Izuku's strength and power.
- Shock and Awe: He can use several Electric-type attacks, such as Thunderbolt.
Combusken
A chicken-like Fire Pokémon Izuku receives after passing the Entrance Exam.- Team Mom: She's the one that more openly cares for the rest of the team.
Froakie
A toad-like Pokémon Izuku catches during a trip to the swamp with Tsuyu's family.- Blood Knight: Loves a good fight.
Katsuki Bakugo
Quirk: Explosion
U.A. Class Status: 1-A Hero Class
Pokémon: Cyndaquil/Quilava, Charmander/Charmeleon, Gyarados
Izuku's former childhood friend and long-time bully. In the eyes of society, he has everything to make him a great Pro Hero: athleticism, grades, and a powerful Quirk called "Explosion", which allows him to secrete nitroglycerin-like sweat from his hands and create explosions with them. Unfortunately, this is matched with a massive ego and a fiery temper that make him unbending in his desire to become the Number One Hero.
- The Ace: He's intelligent, strong, and has a powerful Quirk. Deconstructed, though, as all this turned him into a massive jerkass.
- Break the Haughty: He's put through the fact that he is no longer at middle school multiple times, and called out for his bullying.
- Fatal Flaw: His Hair-Trigger Temper and Pride. He can't handle being considered inferior to anyone else (particularly Izuku) or being called out on his behavior and will react explosively toward whoever is doing this. When Mina calls him out for his bullying and slaps him during their fight in the tournament, he reacts by giving her a savage beating that lands her in the school infirmary. And he does the same with Kirishima when he calls him out for the above.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: He will explode (literally and metaphorically) if anyone says something mildly unflattering about him, or if he perceives someone else is looking down on him, no matter what they were actually doing.
- It's All About Me: He will twist logic into pretzels to claim that anything that happens around him is because of him.
- When Izuku rescues him from the Sludge Villain, he thinks Izuku only wanted to make him look weak.
- Izuku suddenly has a Quirk? "He hid it for a decade just to laugh at me!"
- When Serana smiles at Izuku, Bakugo (who is sitting right in front of Izuku) thinks she's smiling at him even though they don't know each other.
- Ojiro and Shoda drop out of the tournament? He believes that they are just scared to fight him.
- Mina calls him out on what a horrid person he is? Izuku tattled to everyone just to make him look bad!
- Karma Houdini Warranty: His brutal beatdown of Mina gets him the undivided attention of Nezu. Which is not a good thing, in his case.
- Mons as Characterization: His Pokémon reflect his fiery, hair-trigger temper and pride.
- The Nicknamer: Since he can't be bothered to remember other people's names, he comes up with insulting nicknames to refer to them.
- Suspiciously Clean Criminal Record: Despite his very appalling behavior and his long-term bullying campaign against Izuku, his record is squeaky-clean. Nezu eventually realizes that his middle school tampered with his and Izuku's records.
- Ungrateful Bastard: His reaction to Izuku saving him from the Sludge Villain is to call him useless and state he didn't need his help.
- We Used to Be Friends: Before Bakugou got his quirk, he was best friends with Izuku. Once he got his quirk however, his ego shot up and began to bully Izuku, destroying their friendship. Even worse throwing him under the bus to side with sycophantic and opportunistic students and teachers who would throw him under the bus if he's no longer useful

- Beauty Equals Goodness: She is an incredibly kind and loving girl, and arguably one of most beautiful students amongst the first years.
- Because You Were Nice to Me: She fell for Izuku because he was the first person to believe she could be a hero with a Quirk like hers, as well as for his kindness and personality.

She has the same name and similar appearance to Serena (her mother is even a Ryhorn racer and is from France, which Kalos is based on), uses and has a love of water types like Misty, and her first Pokémon is a Piplup like Dawn. She even thought about becoming either a Pokémon Performer or Coordinator before deciding to be a Hero.
- Elemental Hair Colors: Downplayed. She has water powers, but only a couple of her hair stripes are blue.

- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: She has strawberry blonde hair (with blue stripes) and is All-Loving Hero.

- Shout-Out: Her costume was inspired by the one Mera used in Aquaman (2018).
- Took a Level in Badass: Thanks to Izuku's advice on her Quirk, she knows how to manipulate frozen water particles, making her a perfect match to Todoroki.

The son of the current Number Two Hero, Endeavor, he tends to keep to himself and got into U.A. through a recommendation. His Quirk, "Half-Cold Half-Hot", lets him emit fire from the left side of his body and ice from the right side, but due to his hatred of his father, he refuses to use fire, either through his Quirk or his Pokémon.
- Abusive Parents: His father put him through Training from Hell from the moment his Quirk manifested, and his mother gave him the scar over his left eye.
- Arranged Marriage: Endeavor arranged his betrothal to Momo in order to tie his family to the powerful MegaCorp. He doesn't care much for it, but he's not above taking advantage of the betrothal to force Momo to join his team in the Sports Festival.
- Bad Boss: He barely wants anything to do with his Vulpix because it's a Fire Pokémon his father foisted on him.
- Freudian Excuse: His general attitude towards other people derives from his hatred of his abusive father.
- Freudian Excuse Is No Excuse: Izuku nearly punches his head off when he reveals how far he's willing to go just to deny his father what he wants, and calls him out over how he's behaving like his father.
- Hypocrite: Professes hatred of his father for his methods in trying to force him to do as he wills, yet thinks nothing of doing the exact same things to get back at him.
- Mons as Characterization: He has Fire and Ice Pokémons reflecting his dual Quirk, along with his hatred and neglect of his Fire side.
- Sacrificed Basic Skill for Awesome Training: His father Endeavor put him through Training from Hell after he manifested his dual Quirk. While he has impressive control over his ice side, he has No Social Skills and sees nothing wrong with becoming a hero just to spite his father.

- Ship Tease: Flirts with Inko Midoriya when he meets her. Upgrades to a relationship some time before the U.A. Entrance Exam.
- Speaks Fluent Animal: His link with his Pokémon lets him understand their thoughts and words.
Rumi Usagiyama - Miruko
Quirk: Rabbit
Pokémon: Lopunny
Japan's current Number Five Hero, Miruko is a heroine who is famous for (almost) never teaming up with other heroes, and whose Quirk, "Rabbit", gives her a pair of rabbit ears and incredibly strong legs.- Blood Knight: Gets pumped up at the idea of fighting or seeing a good fight.
- Everyone Has Standards: Blood Knight that she is, she feels disgusted by the No-Holds-Barred Beatdown Bakugo unleashed on Mina.
- I Work Alone: She's well known as someone who never teams up with other heroes, unless there's no other choice.
- Kick Chick: Her fighting style includes lots of kicks.
- Odd Friendship: Her best friend is Ryukyu.
Ryuko Tatsuma - Ryukyu
Quirk: Dragon
Pokémon: Salamance
Japan's current Number Nine Hero, Ryukyu's Quirk, "Dragon", allows her to transform into a large dragon that is more than capable of dealing damage to anyone that crosses her path.- Cloud Cuckoo Landers Minder: She's Nejire's mentor.
- Lady of War: She's composed, analytical, and capable of kicking ass like no one's business.
- Odd Friendship: Her best (female) friend is Miruko.
Enji Todoroki - Endeavor
Quirk: Hellflame
Japan's current Number Two Hero. Endeavor has held the position for a long time, and as a result holds an extremely intense grudge for All Might - to the point that he's put his youngest son Shoto through Training from Hell to make him the one who will unseat All Might from the coveted Number One position. His Quirk, "Hellflame", gives him an impressive amount of control over fire, which he can also create.- Abusive Parents: He made Shoto's life a decade-long Training from Hell for the sake of his own ambitions.
- Everyone Has Standards: Even with all that he's willing to do, even he considers Bakugo's attitude a problem.
- Manipulative Bastard: He arranges his son's marriage to Momo so as to create a link with the powerful MegaCorp.
- Vicariously Ambitious: Since he has been unable to dethrone All Might from the Number One position, he's been training Shoto so he will do it instead.
Yu Takeyama - Mt. Lady
Quirk: Gigantification
Pokémon: Gourgeist
Shinji Nishiya - Kamui Woods
Quirk: Arbor
Pokémon: Sceptile
Death Arms
Quirk: Unnamed Strength Enhancement Quirk
Mirai Sasaki - Sir Nighteye
Quirk: Foresight
All Might's former sidekick, now a hero of his own merit after splitting his partnership with the Number One hero. He's introduced watching the Sports Festival in order to study Izuku - and attempt to determine how to force him to pass One for All to Mirio.- Confirmation Bias: It doesn't matter how impressive Izuku acts during the Sports Festival, Mirai will twist it to fit his preconceptions. He actually takes Izuku's Rousing Speech as an insult towards All Might's work.
- Control Freak: He cannot handle the idea that All Might gave his Quirk to someone that wasn't Mirio.
- Hypocrite: Derides Izuku as inferior to Mirio, ignoring that Izuku's control of One for All is quite good already, and that he's advanced more with it in two months than Mirio did with his own Quirk in the 10+ years between him getting it and Mirai starting to train him.
- He also derides Izuku's Batman Gambit to trick the other teams into going after the wrong flag - and in the same breath claims All Might would have also come up with it.
- I Reject Your Reality: He takes everything he sees Izuku do and twists it to fit his preconceived idea that Izuku is unfit to wield One for All.
- The Mentor: He's the one that mentored Mirio from the accident-prone kid he was at the beginning of his career at U.A. to someone that could easily go Pro already.
- Secret-Keeper: He's one of the few people that know about One for All.
U.A. Staff & Faculty
Nezu
Quirk: High Specs
U.A.'s Principal, he's a sapient mammalian of unknown species that stands intellectually above most, thanks to having "High Specs", which boosts his intelligence to well beyond the curve.- Adaptation Species Change: According to All Might, Nezu's a chimeric mix of multiple Pokémon.
- The Gadfly: He likes to playfully tease everyone he meets.
Shouta Aizawa - Eraserhead
Quirk: Erasure
Pokémon: Cofagrigus, Malamar
An Underground Hero, and 1-A's homeroom teacher, Aizawa is a no-nonsense teacher with little patience for fools and show-offs, which he considers liabilities in a dangerous field like heroics.- Hypocrite: When Aizawa states he should expel Izuku because of his lack of control over his Quirk, Izuku calls him out as this, because (a) he got his Quirk just a month before, and (b) Aizawa's Quirk only lets him block other Quirks, so everything he does comes from training.
- Odd Friendship: His best friend is Present Mic, who is pretty much his opposite in most things.
- Papa Wolf: Say what you might about him, he takes his students' safety very seriously - at the USJ, he holds the line against villains on at least 20:1 odds to give his students time to escape.
- Stern Teacher: Rest assured, if he thinks you are being stupid, he will say so.
- Straight Man and Wise Guy: He's the Straight Man to Yamada's Wise Guy.
Tengoku Taishi
Quirk: Quirkless
Pokémon: Volcarona
U.A.'s Pokémon training teacher. He's an old friend of Nezu's (in fact, part of the group that saved the Principal from the experiments he was subjected to) and has come to U.A. because of reports that Izuku could have an important role to play in the future.- Empowered Badass Normal: While he doesn't have a Quirk, he does have the power to use Aura.
- My Greatest Second Chance: He sees Izuku as his attempt to atone for failing to prevent his previous student from becoming villainous.
- Old Shame: One of his previous students in the use of Aura fell into its use for evil purposes.
Hizashi Yamada - Present Mic
Quirk: Voice
Hero, radio presenter, and U.A.'s English teacher, Present Mic is a boisterous man whose Quirk, "Voice", allows him to boost his own voice to very loud volumes and use it as a weapon.- Combat Commentator: He's the main commentator during the U.A. Sports Festival.
- Straight Man and Wise Guy: He's the Wise Guy to Aizawa's Straight Man.
Nemuri Kayama - Midnight
Quirk: Somnambulist
U.A.'s Modern Art teacher, Midnight is a voluptuous woman who has no shame in showing off. Her Quirk, "Somnambulist", lets her emit a gas that causes people to fall asleep when smelled.- Ms. Fanservice: She's this, she knows it, she flaunts it.
- Shameless Fanservice Girl: Her first hero costume was so risqué that the Japanese Diet passed a law on how much skin Heroes could expose. Her current costume is not much better.
Anan Kurose - Thirteen
Quirk: Black Hole
Pokémon: Beheeyem
A Heroics teacher at U.A. specialized in rescue situations. Thirteen's Quirk, "Black Hole", manifests as the ability to absorb and destroy anything creating black holes in her fingers.- Bad Powers, Good People: Her power is incredibly destructive and can easily kill people, but Thirteen is an All-Loving Hero who's great with kids and wields said power into a career dedicated to saving people.
- Crippling Overspecialization: She doesn't engage in many fights with villains because of how she could kill them accidentally. Kurogiri tricks her into almost killing herself thanks to that inexperience.
