Girlfriend

    Girlfriend
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/aa0ffd8f_bec7_43b8_9fcc_22c13911041c.png
Voiced by: Abigail Turner
The deuteragonist of the series and Player's girlfriend, she is more optimistic & rational than Player, but has been shown to be more of Tsundere at times.
  • Adaptational Jerkass: Not as bad as Player, but she noticeably has more moments of rudeness to Player than in Friday Night Funkin'. Examples include her getting angry at him for being sarcastic or rude. Other times, she might get angry when Player didn't mean any offense, like when he spent time with Katelynn and when he transformed into his werewolf form under the full moon during their 1st anniversary date. The latter of which wasn't even under his control. It’s also hard to forget how she kept on gushing over Stickman, even though Player was standing right there. However, she isn’t hit with this as bad as her Fera Animations counterpart.
  • Adaptational Wimp: There are times where opponents that she could defeat in their original mod (such as Sonic.exe for example) manage to intimidate and sometimes even defeat her.
  • Age Lift: Girlfriend was 19 in the original game. Here, she’s stated to be over 30,000 years old.
  • Ascended Demon: Despite being a demon, Girlfriend ended up in heaven with Boyfriend and Carol when Whitty accidentally killed them.
  • Big Eater: Implied to be this according to the Mid-Fight Masses episode, as she apparently ate a pack of ribs and an extra large extra-cheese pizza all washed down with a slushee. And after Player's fight with Ruv, she states that she's starving even after the feast she had before she and Player entered the church.
  • A Day in the Limelight: Due to Player being kidnapped by Hypno, Girlfriend was the one dishing the notes in the Friday Night Funkin' Lullaby episode.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: She comes off as rude and mean, but she is a very Nice Girl.
  • Kindhearted Cat Lover: She's the rational one of the main duo, and she happens to own a cat.
  • Morality Pet: Will call out Player whenever he's being rude or insensitive.
  • Really 700 Years Old: Girlfriend claims that she didn’t get to visit all the planes of hell until she was in her early 30,000s. She didn’t state how long ago that was, so who knows how old she is now?!
  • Spared by the Adaptation: In Friday Night Funkin' Lullaby, it was stated by the devs that Girlfriend died after "Left Unchecked". In the episode based on the mod, Girlfriend survives.
  • Tsundere: Unsorted. She is generally sweet, but there are moments where she can’t take Player's rudeness and pessimism.
  • Voice of the Legion: In GameToons Gaming videos featuring her demon form, she gains this when she transforms into her demon form.
  • Women Are Wiser: Out of the two main characters, she is more intelligent and sane than Player.

Supporting Characters

    Genty Dearest/Daddy Dearest
Voiced by: Ryan Stewart
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: He came off as overprotective at first, but after Player proposed to Girlfriend, he gave his blessing and accepted it, albeit still not liking Player very much. When Player was turned into a demon, Daddy Dearest finally began to warm up to Player and spent time bonding with him in hell. Unfortunately, Status Quo Is God. When Girlfriend turned Player back, Daddy Dearest reverted to his old ways.

    Mommy Mearest
  • Authority in Name Only: During family vacations to the beach, she works as a lifeguard. However, she never actually saves anyone since she can't swim. Katelyn does. She just likes the outfit and the ability to yell at strangers.

    Whitty
Voiced by: Max Root
  • Accidental Murder: Whitty got too angry after losing to Player the second time, and exploded, killing Carol, Player, and Girlfriend, much to his heartbreak. Fortunately, they came back.
  • Adaptational Backstory Change: The canon lore for Whitty states that he was always a humanoid bomb and was born inside a facility where he raised himself. Here, he was originally a normal kid that was kidnapped and drugged with DNA and was turned into a humanoid bomb.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Like the canon version, he is very prone to anger.
  • Death by Adaptation: Sacrifices himself to save Player from zombified Senpai and fan girls. Subverted when he returns in later appearances.
  • Heroic Build: He has a rather muscular build underneath his hoodie.
  • Stupid Sacrifice: He blows himself up to save Player from a group of zombies, but as Player noted, they could’ve just escaped through the same vent they came in.
  • Sore Loser: He has shades of this
  • They Killed Kenny Again: It's hinted by his return in the genderbent episode after previously blowing himself up several episodes ago that if he were to die - blowing himself up or otherwise - he'll be back for the next episode. He did die again in the cartoon cat episode, so this may be true.
  • Was Once a Man: He was just a normal kid who got kidnapped and ejected with DNA, turning him into the living doomsday device he is now.

    Sky
Voiced by: Katie Spradlin
  • Adaptational Backstory Change: Originally, Sky was a Reality Warper from the real world who shifted herself into Friday Night Funkin' to claim Boyfriend all to herself. "The Life of Sky" depicts her as being born within the game's universe. However, she still said "The shift worked!", which raises questions on what exactly she means in this context.
  • Creepy Child: In "The Life of Sky" her first thought upon being born was death. Her glowing red eyes would light up the room whenever her father tucked her in bed, along with a Slasher Smile. She also would repeatedly stab a Selever doll for no apparent reason. Needless to say, this behavior terrified her father, while her mother didn't seem to take notice.
  • Enfant Terrible: According to the music video, "The Life of Sky" Sky was mentally screwed up from the start.
  • If I Can't Have You…: Says this word for word when Player rejects her. In her second appearance, she tries to kill him because he won't leave Girlfriend.
  • Villain Has a Point: As much as her stalking tendencies towards Player are creepy, she does make a point on how a girl should treat her man the way she wants to be treated, which Player agrees on.
  • Yandere: She’s so obsessed with Player and will do anything to get him; including murder.

    Hex
Voiced by: Ryan Stewart
  • The Anti-Nihilist: He knows that Friday Night Funkin' will eventually come to an end. But he encourages Player that his time in the game is precious, and he should enjoy it while it lasts, with or without Girlfriend.
  • Face–Heel Turn: He turned on Player when he lost to Parappa the second time.
    Sarvente
Voiced by: Ariel Hack
A succubus demon queen who disguises herself as a nun and puts on a friendly persona just to convince people to get into Heaven.
  • Adaptation Deviation: In her home mod's lore, she does not remember meeting Ruv as a child despite the fact that he wears the ribbon she gave him as an eyepatch. Here, she does remember, as there is a brief flashback of her giving Ruv the ribbon as children during her fight with Taki.
  • Ambidextrous Sprite: Her facial stripes tend to switch sides.
  • Boomerang Bigot: Sarvente prays that others will join the church, but will not let demons join despite being one herself.
  • Despair Event Horizon: She is getting close to this. After Ruv dies, Sarvente becomes determined, and later desperate, on finding him, believing he's still alive despite what other people tell her. Her attempt to summon him ended up burning his ushanka and leaving her with only his ribbon.
  • Heel–Face Turn: In her first two appearances, Sarvente rivals Player and Girlfriend. As of Taki's episode, she has become desperate on finding Ruv (who is currently dead) and was willing to have Player and Girlfriend help her.
  • He's Just Hiding: In-universe example. Sarvente refuses to believe that Ruv is dead since the Taki episode, thinking he's still out there. It still persists in Selever's episode.invoked
  • Succubi and Incubi: To put it in Player's words...
Player: "She's a demonic succubus nun that got the hots for me after I beat her then boyfriend Ruv in a rap battle."
  • Voice of the Legion: She gains this in her demon form in GameToons Gaming videos.

    Monika
  • Adaptational Wimp: She's no longer in control of the Doki Doki Literature Club universe like she used to be.
  • Aesop Amnesia: Seemingly forgets the lesson she learned about trying to interfere with others' relationships by the time she teams up with Sky and Sarvente.
  • Affably Evil: She's genuinely nice to Player and Girlfriend upon meeting them, only getting nasty once Senpai intervenes.
  • Art Evolution: In the Doki Doki Literature Club episode, Monika is redesigned to resemble her appearance in Doki Doki Takeover!. It's currently unknown if this is permanent, or if it's just a side effect of being in Doki Doki Literature Club.
  • Contrasting Sequel Antagonist: Like Sky, she's also a Yandere who wants Player all to herself. But Sky immediately got angry when she found out Girlfriend was dating him and tried to get rid of her by chaining her up. Whereas Monika made a more pleasant first impression to him and Girlfriend upon meeting, and only turned to aggression once Senpai came into the picture, then deleting him and Girlfriend with zero effort. Also unlike Sky, Monika realized the error of her ways and made a Heel–Face Turn. Though she inexplicably reverts back to her evil ways in her second appearance.
  • Heel–Face Revolving Door: At first it looks like she changes for the better when she apologizes to Player and sends him back home, then settling with Senpai. But in her second appearance, she’s back to her Yandere self alongside Sky and Sarvente. She finally cements her Heel–Face Turn in “Girlfriend Breaks Boyfriend’s Heart”, where she and Senpai have finally become a couple to the point where they’re Sickening Sweethearts.

    Carol
  • Death by Adaptation: Implied, as Carol gets bitten by a zombie and begs her friends to leave her before she becomes one herself. She is last seen shooting zombies to buy Player and Girlfriend some time.
    • Subverted in "SONIC .EXE vs SUNKY?!" where Carol makes a cameo, revealed to be alive and well.

    Garcello
  • Parental Abandonment: His life song reveals that he was left at an alleyway by his original parents when he was young, leaving him to take care of himself until he was adopted by an old man.

Minor Characters

    Cap’n Cheese/Skid and Pump
Voiced by: Ryan Stewart (Cap), Cory Crater (Cheese), Joe Jowett (Skid), Bronson Lasseter (Pump)

    Veto/Pico
Voiced by: K. William Scott (Veto), Ryan Stewart (Pico)
  • Face–Heel Turn: In the high school episode, he along with the rest of Player's allies turn on him when he loses to Parappa a second time.

    Monster
  • Ambiguously Related: He appears in Girlfriend's family picture alongside Daddy Dearest, Mommy Mearest, and Girlfriend herself. But his relation to them is unknown.
  • Big "NO!": Invokes this when Player breaks free of his corruption.
  • Perpetual Smiler: He always has a Slasher Smile, even during his Villainous Breakdown in "Return of EVIL BOYFRIEND".
  • This Cannot Be!: When Player manages to break out of the corruption, Monster panics and screams as his corruption is undone.

    Senpai
Voiced by: Bronson Lasseter
  • Mistaken for Cheating: Monika thought he was cheating on her when she saw him autographing a headshot for a fangirl. The girl was actually a mailwoman, and he was signing for a package he received. The package just so happens to be an engagement ring.
  • Non-Standard Character Design: He still retains his Animesque appearance in BOYFRIEND vs. DOKI DOKI LITERATURE CLUB!, as the Plus update for Doki Doki Takeover!, which included a song that has him get sprites in Duster's artstyle, hadn't been released when the video was made. This results in him clashing heavily with the designs of the DDLC girls, including Monika, who got a new design.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: He's on more friendly terms with Player as of "GIRLFRIEND BREAKS BOYFRIEND'S HEART?!''
  • Spared by the Adaptation: In the original game, Senpai is Killed Off for Real when Spirit breaks out of him. Here, even though Spirit exists in this continuity, he survives much like in Friday Night Funkin' WITH LYRICS.

    Tankman
Voiced by: Ryan Stewart
    Tricky
  • Off with His Head!: He kills Sanford by slicing his head off with his street sign.
  • The Voiceless: Never says a word. According to Girlfriend, it's because he's been driven insane by his Improbability Drive and thus the red text that occasionally flashes on his face is his only way of communication outside of screaming.

    Zardy
  • Adaptational Wimp: In the original mod, he survived after vanishing during "Foolhardy" and then came back to sing "Bushwhack", here on the other hand, he died after vanishing in "Foolhardy".

    Matt
  • The Dreaded: He earned this reputation when he became the "Friday Night Funkin' Champion"
  • This Cannot Be!: His reaction to Player beating him in a rap battle.

    Ruv

    Selever
  • Adaptational Jerkass: In Mid-Fight Masses canon, Selever cared for Rasazy and hoped that the two would cross into the canon universe. Here, he's The Cynic and thinks that Sarvente and Ruv would never be together.
  • A Day in the Limelight: Managed to score his own episode based on a fanmade full week of him.
  • Berserk Button: Selever will banish people from the Nothing World in which he lives in if they dare mention Ruv's name.
  • Cain and Abel: The Cain to Rasazy's Abel. He put her in the deeper parts of the Nothing World apparently because "[she] had hope".
  • Cessation of Existence: Subverted. He's still in the Nothing World after Ruv perishes at the hands of Taki.
  • The Cynic: Is straight up stated by his sister to be a pessimist and hates hope.
  • Freudian Excuse: Ruv not finding Selever and leaving him in the Nothing World is apparently the reason why he wouldn't help Player and Girlfriend find Ruv.
  • Jerkass: Even moreso than in his home mod. In his own episode, he threatens to banish Player and Girlfriend from the Nothing World just because Player mentioned Ruv. Oh, and when he beats Player, he drops Girlfriend into a hole. And that's not the worst part; he hates his parents so much that he kills clones of them out of vengance because he thinks his parents won't love him if he became real.
  • Revenge Before Reason: Selever assumes that Sarvente and Ruv won't love him, so he kills every clone of Sarvente and Ruv that crops up within the Nothing World.

    Rasazy
  • Cain and Abel: The Abel to Selever's Cain. She was put in the deeper parts of the Nothing World by him apparently because "[she] had hope".
  • Cessation of Existence: Subverted. Like with her brother, she still exists within the Nothing World even after Ruv dies.

    Anders
  • Affably Evil: Somehow despite being a hitman hired to kill Player, he was nice enough to let him know about the update to Tricky's mod.

    Hank J. Wimbleton
  • Adaptational Wimp: In "RETURN OF TRICKY?!" he lasts against Demon Tricky far less than in the original mod (where he only lost due to running out of ammo), and during "BOYFRIEND VS ACCELERANT HANK?!", he's unable to kill an army of Agents, not even with Sanford's help.
  • Adaptational Sympathy: Hank in Madness Combat was just as bloodhungry as Tricky and the Auditor, and in Project Nexus, he actually turned on Sanford and Deimos. Here, he's distraught over losing them and thinks the only way to stop Tricky is a suicide mission.
  • Shout-Out: He claims that his relationship with Tricky it's like "Batman and Joker, except they're way cooler because they're 10 times more violent".

    Kapi
  • Adaptational Job Change: Although not shown, Kapi has been stated by Word of God to work at a donut shop in his home mod, and was never implied to actually work at the arcade you face him in. Here, he happens to run the whole arcade.invoked

    Tabi

    Red Impostor
Voiced by: Ryan Stewart
  • Blatant Lies: He keeps insisting that he's not the imposter, but his knife, gun, and angled mouth say otherwise.
  • Devil in Plain Sight: It’s made pretty clear that he’s the imposter. He has an angled mouth, a gun, and a knife. Yet Player’s the only one to catch on.
  • Ironic Name: Lampshaded by Captain, stating that he’s never the imposter (well, up to this point at least).
  • My Nayme Is: His name is spelled with an "o". Not an "e".

    Mr. Cheese

    Hatsune Miku

    AGOTI

    CJ

    Ruby

    Flippy
  • Pyromaniac: After flipping out for the second time, Flippy takes out a flamethrower and sets everyone he sees on fire.
  • Suddenly Voiced: In his home series, Flippy only spoke in gibberish with the occasional words. Here, he is fully capable of speaking English.

    Shaggy
  • Adaptational Badass: Possibly. He claims that he used a far smaller fraction of his power to fight Player than in his original mod, yet, since Zephyrus confirmed that the Shaggys are merely bluffing about using such small fractions of their power...

    Bubsy
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/289117b1_89af_4ad0_aec7_165c8f6d25b8.jpeg
Girlfriend's pet demonic cat.

    Bob
Voiced by: Ryan Stewart
  • Berserk Button: Don’t make the sun sad, or you will face Bob’s wrath! Oh, and of course don't call him Dream.

    Ron
Voiced by: Ryan Stewart
  • Straw Misogynist: Same as ever, only this time around he just calls Girlfriend stupid rather than saying he hates women in general.

    Little Man

    Sunday
  • Disproportionate Retribution: In the Among Us mod video featuring her from GameToons Gaming, she harms and kills the crewmates all because they woke her up.
  • Don't Wake the Sleeper: The video mentioned above shows Sunday hurting the crwmates because they woke her up. Carol also warns Player and Girlfriend about waking Sunday up because she'd ramble about "historical materialism" if she is woken up.

    Big Sister
Voiced by: Ariel Hack

    Katelyn
Voiced by: Ariel Hack
  • Alpha Bitch: Subverted. Girlfriend sees her this way, but she’s really a well meaning person.
  • Nice Girl: She’s said to be the one who saves people who are drowning, choking, etc. despite Mommy Mearest being the lifeguard, not her. And she compliments Girlfriend’s looks when she first appears.
  • Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: With Girlfriend, who hates her because she’s always stealing the spotlight.
  • We Used to Be Friends: Mommy Mearest mentions that she and Girlfriend were once close friends, but they drifted apart when relationships took priority in their lives.

    K.K. Slider

    Flaky
Voiced by: Ariel Hack
  • Nervous Wreck: Even moreso in this series than in her home series, Yes, Flaky has always been extremely shy, but here, it’s cranked up to 12, she is initially nervous about performing in front of her friends. After that She gets better, but at the end of the episode suffered from a heart attack or panic attack.
  • Suddenly Voiced: In her home series, she could only speak gibberish. Here, she is fully capable of speaking English.

    Sniffles

    Giggles

    Petunia

    Taki
Voiced by: Ariel Hack

    Hunnii
  • Ms. Fanservice: Just like in her original mod, and she knows it. She'll let the men look, but not touch.

    Cheep Cheep the Cooking Chicken

    Parappa
  • Adaptational Jerkass: He is much more of an asshole in this series than in his home series.
  • The Bully: Very much so.
  • Jerk Jock: To very extreme levels.
  • Karma Houdini: He gets no punishments for being mean to the other kids.
  • Older Than They Look: He looks around the same age as Player, but he's actually been rapping since the 90's and is still in high school because he's been held back four times.

    Updike
  • Adaptational Heroism: In his own lore, he's a relentless hunter of non-human entities, believing it's for the greater good. Here, he's a normal (albeit beleaguered) high school teacher.
  • Creepy Monotone: Updike constantly looks bored and talks as if he's half asleep regardless of his actual mood. He claims that his voice is like this naturally.
  • New Job as the Plot Demands: He seemingly has every job in Player's high school, due to budget cuts. Including a biology teacher, a music teacher, the lunch lad, the gym teacher, and the nurse. He even lampshades this.
"Welcome to the magical world of music. Before we begin, yes, I also teach this class. Due to budget cuts, the board decided it would be best that I wear multiple hats."

    McDonald's mascots

Ronald McDonald

  • Broken Pedestal: He's this to Player after he finds out the truth.
  • Canon Immigrant: He first appeared in Among Us Adventures before making us canon debut in "BOYFRIEND vs McDONALD's".
  • Exact Words: He does keep his promise in free McNuggets for life. But in order to keep the Golden Arches on the plaque, he won’t let Player and Girlfriend live very long.
  • Monster Clown: He’s actually a psychotic cannibal who uses human meat to make his "Chicken" McNuggets. His One-Winged Angel form takes this trope literally.
  • Villain with Good Publicity: Most of the time, he presents himself as a cheerful Non-Ironic Clown. He only reveals his true nature to those who win his challenges.

Hamburglar

  • An Arm and a Leg: Ronald chopped off both of his arms and replaced them with spatulas, forcing him to flip burgers for eternity in order to pay off his debt. At this point, he seems to have degenerated into a cannibal like Ronald himself from going insane.

Grimace

    Evil Sonics

General

  • Composite Character: Not directly confirmed, but we never see each of these Sonics in the same place, and Player treats them all as the same person.
  • Knight of Cerebus: They are not played for comedy in the slightest and strike fear into Player and Girlfriend.
  • Silent Antagonist: None of them ever speak a word other than the occasional Evil Laugh (unless you count the prerecorded lines from "Too Slow"), but they all manage to be terrifying.

Sonic .exe

  • Adaptational Backstory Change: Sonic .exe, rather than being an evil demonic being that possesses a cursed Sonic game while taking the form of Sonic, is instead the result of Player putting all of his Sonic Mania files into his Friday Night Funkin' folder by mistake.
  • Adaptational Badass: He manages to easily restrain Girlfriend with only one hand, while in the original mod, he couldn't even get close to Boyfriend without Girlfriend stopping him without even trying.
  • Lighter and Softer: He's never seen actually killing anyone, only attempting to do so to Girlfriend and Player. When he does capture victim, the worst he does is eat them and slowly digest them, rather than decapitate or maul them like in the source material. Player manages to save Eggman, Sunky, Girlfriend, Kapi, and himself from digesting because of the change in behavior.

Majin Sonic

  • Adaptational Villainy: Although he assimilates Boyfriend when he loses to him in Endless, it is implied he thought he was giving him infinite fun, while here he kills Tails and then tries to kill Player and Girlfriend.
  • Hero Killer: He is revealed to have killed Tails and made a jacket out of his fur.

Lord X

  • Hero Killer: He's implied to have killed Knuckles by trapping him in a giant fly trap.

Xenophanes

  • Composite Character: Directly confirmed in this case, as he is this between EXE, Xenophanes, and Fleetway Super Sonic. He starts out as the former, and later transforms into the latter two.
  • Silent Antagonist: Downplayed. He speaks when disguised as Sonic, and speaks the prerecorded lines of Fleetway Super Sonic, but other than that, he's usually silent.

    Sonic the Hedgehog
  • Distressed Dude: Player and Girlfriend find him trapped in the mirror dimension where they fight Majin Sonic.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: It's not clear if he actually died to Xenophanes, as he is last seen being eaten by him and was never shown being saved despite Player beating him.

    Green Impostor
Voiced by: Ryan Stewart
  • Contrasting Sequel Antagonist: The Red Impostor was an idiot who was a really Bad Liar, and Player could clearly see through his lies. The Green Impostor is smarter since he initially appears as a normal crewmate, and Player doesn't suspect a thing. Girlfriend only catches on because he wasn't killed when the lights went out. Green also flat out admits he's the imposter and reveals it to everybody as he tries to kill them while Red keeps trying to lie despite already being obvious, yet nobody besides Player catches on to his Blatant Lies. Red actually succeeds in killing Player and Girlfriend while Green fails (though Player still dies from fall damage and ends up in the defeat screen). Finally, Red has one of his songs taken over by another crewmate, Mr. Cheese, while Green is taken over by the Black Impostor.
  • Disney Villain Death: He falls out of Mira HQ after the reactor's explosion alongside Player. They both end up hitting the ground and dying.

    Black Impostor
Voiced by: Ryan Stewart
    Spinel

    Baby Blue
  • You Don't Look Like You: His appearance is completely altered from the original. He now has Black Bead Eyes instead of white sclera with black pupils, his outfit consists of a diaper instead of a blouse, and instead of being bald, he has a small tuft of blue hair on his head.

    Boyfriend/Player's Parents
Player's Mom voiced by: Abigail Turner, Player's Dad voiced by: Ryan Stewart

    Vampire Boyfriend
  • Evil Twin: He is an evil version of Player from another dimension who is a serial werewolf killer.
  • Fur Against Fang: The whole plot of the episode he's from.
  • Villainous Crush: He wants Girlfriend all to himself.

    Ghost Twins
  • Adaptational Backstory Change: In the mod, they died from an accident in the Dearest family's old opera theater. Here, they died from an automobile accident instead.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: Inverted. They're not brought back to life like they were in their mod. And given how they're stuck in a place where time moves very slowly, and their bodies are long gone, it unlikely they ever will.
  • Year Outside, Hour Inside: They’ve been dead for 112 years, but to them it’s been only a few days.

    Gatekeeper
  • Deader than Dead: If you challenge the Gatekeeper and lose to him, you'll be erased completely!
  • Mythology Gag: He takes on the form of the version of Pico from Friday Night Funkin Hellbeats.
  • Shapeshifter: If one encounters him, he'll take on the form of whatever killed the victim. In Garcello's case, it's a pack of cigarettes. In Player's case, it's Pico (specifically his Hellbeats version).

    Spooky Month characters

Lila

Roy

Hatzgang

  • Adapted Out: For some unknown reason, Ross is absent from the group.

Mr. Clown

  • Expy: Of Pennywise. They both try to lure in kids with a balloon to eat them.

The Uncle

The Eyes of the Universe

  • Good All Along: Player, Girlfriend, and Lila think he’s about to eat them, until Skid and Pump point out that he’s their friend.

    Sunky .MPEG

    Dr. Eggman

    Sans

    Stickman

    Daisy
  • A.I. Is a Crapshoot: Without her empathy drive, she is a cold hearted serial killer.
  • Faux Affably Evil: The way she speaks before attacking is as if she did nothing wrong, like casually saying she had a stroll through a building.

    Mickey Mouse
  • Adaptational Backstory Change: Mickey is not implied to have had Minnie cheat on him, and his friends were lost from Chernabog rather than a car accident. His fear and anxiety was a result of running from Chernabog for a long time. He even claims that fear was the only thing keeping him alive.
  • Blob Monster: After his Face–Heel Turn.
  • Bullying a Dragon: Mickey learns the hard way that pissing off someone like Jeff via engulfing them isn't a good idea.
Mickey: Woah! Hold on, pal! I didn't mean anything personal smothering you like that! WAIT! Screams
  • Demonic Possession: He gets possessed by Chernabog in the middle of the night, becoming Mickey.AVI as a result.
  • I'm a Humanitarian: In "BOYFRIEND VS CREEPYPASTAS", he claims that he's going to eat Player and Girlfriend.
  • Last-Name Basis: He's never referred to by his first name. Player and Girlfriend just call him "Mr. Mouse". Subverted in "BOYFRIEND VS CREEPYPASTAS". Where Player refers to him as "Mickey".
  • Lighter and Softer: He's never hinted to have suicidal thoughts at any point. If anything, he's trying to stay alive.
  • The Only One Allowed To Kill You: The reason why he takes out Jeff was because he "didn't want to share [his] meal".
  • The Sleepless: Due to his fear of Chernabog, Mickey never sleeps. He even keeps watch as Player and Girlfriend sleep.
  • Then Let Me Be Evil: After he's brought to the Creepypasta Forest for "being a monster" right after he was starting to recover from the Sanity Slippage he was undergoing, he decided to turn evil and tried to kill Player and Girlfriend.

    Chernabog
A demon (well, gargoyle in this series) from Kingdom Hearts who is an antagonist in two of the three Mickey.Avi videos.
  • Adaptation Species Change: He is a demon in his origin series of games, but is classified as a gargoyle here, displaying common gargoyle traits such as being nocturnal and turning into stone during the day.
  • All There in the Manual: His name was never mentioned in his debut episode, mainly because no one knew who he was or even asked for his name. However, he was dubbed "Chernabog" in the description of said episode.
  • Always Night: Invoked when he possesses Mickey. Because Mickey has control over the night and day, Chernabog was able to keep the world at night when it was 10am.
  • Casting a Shadow: Can create ink-like shadows to attack.
  • Dark Is Evil: Like Novisorr before him, he is a black being with powers of darkness and a Knight of Cerebus.
  • Knight of Cerebus: One of the most seriously played villains in the series. Any comedy is replaced by darkness when he shows up.
  • Lightning Can Do Anything: Shows up form lightning to shock Boyfriend, Girlfriend, and Mickey.
  • Nice Day, Deadly Night: Mickey notes that Chernabog will only come out at night, and he's not wrong about that - when he is defeated as Mickey.Avi, freed from Chernabog's control, and is able to make the sun rise once more, Chernabog turns into stone from being in daylight.
  • Our Gargoyles Rock: He's a gargoyle in this series.
  • Taken for Granite: Turns into a stone statue when it becomes daytime. However, he can prevent himself from this by just possessing Mickey and preventing the sun from rising.

    Baldi's Basics characters

Baldi

Playtime

  • Adaptational Jerkass: She asks Player to do 500 jumps instead of 5. And after he does 500, she increases it to 600.

Principal of the Thing

Gotta Sweep

    Anchor

    Jeff The Killer
  • Adaptational Wimp: Both in comparison to the original mod's Jeff and the original Jeff. In his home mod, he has 4 songs and stabbed Boyfriend in the chest in the cutscene before "Endless Nightmare". Here, he only gets in the beginning of "Sleeping Tragedies" before he gets temporarily knocked out via a small rock. While in the original pasta, he's surprisingly strong for his age (a 12 year old should clearly NOT be strong enough to break bones like they're sticks) and is Made of Iron. Here, he gets knocked out by a small rock.
  • Artifact of Doom: His knife, capable of killing monsters like Slenderman, corrupts whoever wields it.
  • Berserk Button: Stealing his knife is a good way to piss him off, to the point where he chases after Player and Girlfriend after the steal it and he immediately attacks Mickey after they return it.
Jeff: You have something of mine…
  • Glasgow Smile: He's Jeff The Killer after all.
  • Inexplicably Awesome: How is the knife he wields capable of corrupting its wielder and killing both Slenderman and Mickey.AVI? No one knows, it just can.

    Slenderman

    Sayori, Yuri, and Natsuki
  • Adaptational Villainy: In Doki Doki Literature Club! they were innocent girls who ended up as victims to Monika. In Doki Doki Takeover!, they underwent a Face–Heel Turn due to Monika's lack of presence making the world unstable, but went back to normal once she returned. Here, Monika doesn't have that control anymore and the girls have become even worse than Monika ever was. They swore to get revenge on her when she returned, they edited the game files, transforming their school into a dark labyrinth with no way to escape, they take any boy that comes their way and seduce them until they're weak enough to be captured and forced into their "collection". They even threaten to take control of Monika's reality warping powers to enthrall boys to their will across the entire multiverse.
  • Being Tortured Makes You Evil: Monika deleting and torturing them in the past was what made them into what they are now.
  • Faux Affably Evil: They act like their original personalities in Doki Doki Literature Club, but only so they can seduce Player and add him to their collection. Even after the masquerade falls, they still act polite.
  • Knight of Cerebus: Their heinous goals, along with their manipulative abilities make them particularly terrifying villainesses.
  • Multiversal Conqueror: Downplayed. They're not trying to conquer the multiverse per say, but they do want to conquer all the boys in the multiverse.
  • Shadow Archetype: They're a representation of what Monika could've become had she continued down her path of villainy.
  • The Unfought: None of Natsuki's songs are sung. She also has the least dialogue out of the three as a result.
  • Villainous Crush: They take an instant liking to Senpai the moment they see him through the portal back to Hating Simulator. Sayori tries to take his engagement ring for Monika and marry him herself.
  • Yandere: If you're a boy and you step foot into their literature club, they'll never let you leave...

    Cartoon Cat
  • Eldritch Abomination: His true form under the mask is something incomprehensible to the human mind. Seeing or hearing him in this form will lead to death.
  • Silent Antagonist: Only speaks in roars.
