    The Jedi Order
An ancient order charged with keeping peace in their home galaxy with the mysterious energy field known as "The Force".

In General

  • Alien Arts Are Appreciated: While staying at the temple, The Avengers introduced the Jedi to Earth culture, noticeably music, movies, and games. These proved to be surprisingly popular with at least one dance party happening involving younglings, Padawans, Knights, and masters.
  • Cool Sword: Their lightsabers.
  • Culture Clash: The many restrictive practices and rules of the Order, intended to avoid the temptations of the Dark Side, are frequently discussed from the Avengers’ more mundane perspective.

Yoda

Species: Unknown

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/infinite_wars_top_16_characters_5.jpg
Yoda

The nine-hundred-year-old Grand Master of the Order, leading figure of the Jedi Council.

  • Cool Old Guy: Friendly, wise and mischievous with his allies. Yoda is also the only one of the council willing to reach out to Wanda and further discuss her view of the Order.
  • Emerald Power: His lightsaber is green.
  • Jerkass Realisation: Ultimately, talking to the Avengers (Steve Rogers, Peter Parker, Vision, Wanda Maximoff) leads to Yoda acknowledging that the Jedi have strayed from their usual purpose of peacekeepers to become essentially agents of the Republic. He starts to ask other Jedi to search inside themselves and better learn what they feel they truly are.
  • Not So Above It All: In one of the omakes, when the Avengers show their various allies The Lord of the Rings, even Yoda admits that it's a great movie.
  • Old Master: As always, a core part of Yoda's character is his age and wisdom.
  • You Remind Me of X: When Thor visits Coruscant, he favourably compares Yoda to his father Odin.

Mace Windu

Species: Human (Korun)

Second-in-command of the Jedi Order and one of its most tenured members.

  • Dislikes the New Guy: As well as his canon issues with Anakin, Mace is often the first member of the Council to express issues about the Avengers.
  • Identical Stranger: See, Running Gag below.
  • Improperly Paranoid: Mace Windu is often the Council member to voice questions about the Avengers, such as how they didn't tell anyone about Ultron or questioning Wanda's powers given how they bear a strong similarity to the powers of the Sith. However, Obi-Wan Kenobi has always shot down his objections, reminding Mace that the Avengers aren't Jedi and can't be held to the same standards.
  • Not So Above It All: The last Jedi you would expect to tell Plo Koon no he doesn't get a say on whether or not he as to fight to keep his pool winnings.
  • Purple Is Powerful: His unique lightsaber color.
  • Running Gag: Those Avengers who have met Nick Fury initially assume that Mace is him before they spot the differences. By Chapter 84, once Thor arrives, it's beginning to get on his nerves. When Nick Fury finally meets Mace Windu, the spy immediately checks to confirm if the Jedi is a Skrull.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

Species: Human

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/obi_wan_kenobi_1.jpg
Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi

Jedi Master, former mentor to Anakin Skywalker, Council member. It's unknown which is deadlier; his lightsaber skills or his wit.

  • Adaptational Badass: Thanks to discovering Tython, many Jedi are able to find lost knowledge of Force techniques. Obi-Wan is one of those who finds a technique that allows him to deflect a laser blast from Ultron.
  • Blue Is Heroic: His lightsaber colour.
  • Conflicting Loyalties: He has many duties, such as those to the republic, to his friends, to Satine, to the clones, and to the truth. All these don't necessarily conflict, but it does make for some difficulties in his travels.
  • Honorary True Companion: He is one of the Avengers closest allies in the order, joining them on missions and friendly banter and their closest on the Jedi council, frequently speaking in the their defense when they are brought up in meetings.
  • The Mentor: Aside from being Anakin's Master when he was a Padawan, Obi-Wan also becomes an unofficial one for Peter, helping him learn how to use his spider-sense in particular.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: When looking at scenes involving the Jedi Council debating the issues raised by the Avengers, Obi-Wan is often the one speaking in defense of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, recognizing why they have issues with certain Jedi practices and that Earth's heroes aren't deliberately responsible for the challenges they brought with them. He later accepts Anakin's secret marriage to Padme, only reminding his Padawan that the Jedi Council might not be quite so understanding.
  • Secret-Keeper:
    • The Avengers inform him about the control chips implanted in the clones.
    • Anakin tells him about his marriage to Padme.
  • Stone Wall: The undisputed master of Form III Soresu of this era.

Anakin Skywalker

Species: Human

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/infinite_wars__anakin_skywalker_season_4_by_freemanwriter_dh8qknv_414w_2x.jpg
The First Avenger, from a Galaxy Far, Far Away
A young Jedi Knight known as "The Hero With No Fear". Former Padawan of Obi-Wan and master to Ahsoka. Secretly married to Padme Amidala.
  • Artificial Limbs: He loses his right arm in his first duel with Count Dooku back on Geonosis just BEFORE start of the Clone Wars, and has it replaced with a crude droid prosthetic.
  • Ace Pilot: The best star pilot in the galaxy.
  • Became Their Own Antithesis: Anakin expresses concern that this has happened to him as he feels that he is essentially a slaver given the control chips in the clones, even though he didn't know about them when he became a general.
  • Big Brother Instinct: He sees Ahsoka as a younger sister and is naturally protective of her.
  • Big Brother Mentor: To his padawan Ahsoka Tano.
  • Blue Is Heroic: His lightsaber.
  • Borrowed Catchphrase: He uses Steve Rogers' quote "I can do this all day." during his first duel against Darth Vader on Tython in chapter 98.
  • Character Development: Over the course of the story, he has been undergoing many positive changes, such as becoming calmer, more patient, less prone to letting his anger get the best of him; all thanks to his friendship with the Avengers, who are much less uptight about moral imperfections than Anakin's fellow Jedi.
  • The Chosen One: Anakin has a reputation as this among the Jedi relating to an ancient prophecy. The Mortis trio also regard him as such.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Former child slave from Tatooine and torture & death of his mother.
  • Dual Wielding: After his third duel with Darth Vader, Anakin takes his red Lightsaber and begins to use it along with his blue one.
  • Fighting Your Future Self: On Tython Anakin faces off against a manifestation of Darth Vader, who tries to turn him to the Dark Side.
  • Future Me Scares Me: During his time on Mortis Anakin battles a figure in black armor as part of a vision forced upon him by The Son, dismissing the figure as "a giant tool who can't help but love hearing the sound of his own voice". It's only in their rematch on Tython that this figure identifies himself as Darth Vader, and Anakin is horrified to realize that this Sith is actually his own future self.
  • Honorary True Companion: As noted by many Anakin is very close to the Avengers and they also see him as one of their closest confidants within the order. This is a problem for Palpatine, whose relationship with Anakin in canon is one of grooming. For such a predatory tactic to work, however, Anakin needs to be isolated and reliant on Palpatine, something that is becoming increasingly difficult now that the Jedi has a stronger network of friends. This bond has such a strong impact on him that Anakin openly speculates that he may leave the Jedi Order and join the Avengers instead if the Order cannot accept his relationship to Padme.
  • Past-Life Memories: An inversion, as the one whose memories are being obtained is from the future, but this is otherwise the best description of what Anakin receives after his duel with Vader. He "remembers" a few key details of Vader's fall to the Dark Side, such as how Ahsoka left the Jedi after Barriss framed her for attacking the Temple and parts of the confrontation on Mustafar, but he doesn't yet know that Palpatine is the Sith Master. This also allows Anakin to obtain some of Vader's combat experience and skill, allowing him to rapidly grow as a fighter.
  • Positive Friend Influence: Anakin's mental state seems to be steadily improving due to the Avengers' presence. He can laugh, trade friendly ribbings and even confide a little with his newfound friends. Perhaps the most comfort this team has given him is telling him they're aware of Anakin and Padme's secret marriage and both respect and keep quiet about it. This bond has such a strong impact on him that Anakin openly speculates that he may leave the Jedi Order and join the Avengers instead if the Order cannot accept his relationship to Padme.
    • The friendship is also maybe the greatest upset to Palpatine's plans aside from Ultron's presence. Because Anakin has so many others he can trust and confide in, he's no longer as emotionally dependent on the Supreme Chancellor as in canon.
  • Secret-Keeper: A reluctant example, he's one of the Jedi the Avengers confide in about the control chips. He's not happy about it but agrees to keep quiet until the heroes can do something about it.
  • Swiss-Army Appendage: An omake (later confirmed to be canon) reveals that Peter and Scott attempted to "upgrade" Anakin's artificial arm to give it extra functions, but while they were able to give it an inbuilt blaster they weren't able to develop a safe version of the weapon that wouldn't cause excess collateral damage.
  • Took a Level in Badass: During his third duel with Darth Vader, the Sith Lord notices that they are in a Force feedback loop since they are the same person. So, every time they clash, Anakin can absorb and learn the skills of the much more experienced Vader, rapidly increasing his own fighting ability. He even claimed Darth Vader's lightsaber after their second duel and intends to work on cleansing its Kyber crystal as part of his efforts to come to terms with his own darkness. During the final assault on Ultron, his training with the spirit of Darth Marr has allowed him to master the art of Battle Meditation while in the field, when normally the Jedi attempting such a skill should be removed from the action to better concentrate.

Ahsoka Tano

Species: Togruta

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ahsoka_tano.jpg
Ahsoka Tano

The young but talented Padawan to Anakin Skywalker. Becomes close to Peter Parker and Barriss Offee

  • Action Girl: You'd have to be to be Anakin Skywalker's apprentice.
  • Brought Down to Badass: By the time she's captured by Ultron's allies and left on an isolated planet with a Force-suppressing collar, Ahsoka's lessons from the Avengers have given her a good knowledge of hand-to-hand combat that lets her take various opponents by surprise even when unarmed and "officially" powerless.
  • Came Back Strong: After The Daughter brings Ahsoka back to life after she's killed by The Son, it's observed that Ahsoka has a part of the essence of the Light Side within her, but others explicitly observe that she doesn't know how to access that power yet.
  • Composite Character: Fullfills the role of Mary Jane Watson, with her being the more temperamental one of Peter's girlfriends on top of being associated with a fiery color (orange skin instead of red hair), giving her boyfriend his famous nickname of 'Tiger' and possessing a well-meaning tendency of trying to make the right decisions regardless of given orders for the well-being of other lives.
  • Dual Wielding: Tends to use two lightsabers in battle.
  • Emerald Power: Her lightsabers.
  • Gadgeteer Genius: While not a natural technical expert, her lessons from Anakin, Peter and even Scott make her well-qualified to analyse enemy weaponry.
  • Green-Skinned Space Babe: Tony wryly invokes this trope, except as an "orange-skinned space babe."
  • Honorary True Companion: One of the Avengers' closest allies in the Order.
  • Hope Bringer: Plays this role when she is captured by the Trandoshans and left on an isolated planet with a group of other Padawans, inspiring them to keep fighting even when they currently can't use the Force.
  • Interspecies Romance: Ahsoka is a Togruta who falls for both Human Peter Parker and Mirialan Barriss Offee.
  • Like Brother and Sister: Padme notes that Anakin considers Ahsoka to be like a younger sister when encouraging him to support her relationship with Peter.
  • Mind Link Mates: As her relationship with Barriss and Peter deepens, the three of them start to develop a unique force bond. It gets to the point that even while having the force restrained from her by suppressing cuffs, she uses Peter's fighting style, alongside his quippy humor while fighting the Trandoshan hunters.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Unwittingly, as she dons Natasha's incredibly form-fitting skin-tight Combat Suit on Halloween, unknowingly set up by the Black Widow herself to flirt with Peter, together with Barriss. Her regular outfits are not too shabby either.
  • Polyamory: After the Mortis arc, she, Peter and Barriss enter a relationship.
  • Refreshingly Normal Life-Choice: When considering the idea of making a life with Peter and Barriss, Ahsoka finds that she enjoys the thought of the three of them finding somewhere peaceful to live together, even after spending a year at war with minimal experience of being a Jedi in peace-time.
  • Secret-Keeper:
    • She's one of the Jedi the Avengers confide in about the control chips.
    • As of a return visit to Tatooine, she knows Anakin and Padme are married.
  • The Tease: Suggested when Ahsoka notes Peter's reaction to thinking about certain sexual acts, although she admits that she's still basically a novice and will need to ask Natasha for advice.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Her bond with the Daughter gives her a boost of Force energy that allows her to take down a large number of opponents at once in the final clash with Ultron.
  • Waif-Fu: Develops this fighting style after training with the Avengers, seemingly taking some inspiration from Peter Parker's combat style.
  • Yandere: Becomes one of these toward Peter and Barriss while under The Son's control, throwing herself at Peter and trying to kill him when he rejects her. She's horrified when she returns to normal and regains her memory of what she did.

Barriss Offee

Species: Mirialan

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/barriss_offee.jpg
Barriss Offee

Padawan to Jedi Master Luminara Unduli. She is frequently seen alongside Ahsoka Tano and Peter Parker.

  • Action Girl: She has been focusing on developing her healing skills, but she's still capable of holding her own alongside her future partners.
  • Adaptational Curves: Shown to be a bit more muscular as well as having a more endowed physique, giving her a somewhat Korra-esque look.
  • Adaptational Heroism: With Peter and Ahsoka's love to give her important emotional support and encourage changes in the Jedi Order, it's basically confirmed that this Barriss won't experience the breakdown of her canon counterpart.
  • Adaptational Job Change: In canon, Barriss was just a typical Jedi padawan. In this story, she’s displayed the ability to heal with the Force, and is working to master it, indicating her abilities will mirror her depiction in Legends.
  • Ambiguously Bi: Where Barriss just had various Les Yay moments with Ahsoka alone in canon, here she has similar moments with Ahsoka and Spider-Man, to the extent that she finds herself unnerved by the scale of her own feelings for her two ‘dear friends’. The "Ambiguous" part gets thoroughly thrown out of the window in chapter 85 when she becomes part of their shared relationship.
  • Blue Is Heroic: Her lightsaber colour.
  • Composite Character: Takes the spot of Gwen Stacy, being the more academically invested one of Peter's girlfriends while having similarly long, silky hair kept together with a type of hairband (albeit black instead of blond), as well as having the honor of being the girl he first goes out on a date with, although they share their first kiss after Peter had already kissed Ahsoka. An alternate counterpart of hers even suffered a similar fate like the original Gwen.
  • Fantastic Arousal: She becomes incredibly aroused when Simby temporarily attaches himself to her, most likely due to the symbiote carrying the scent from both of her lovers.
  • Green-Skinned Space Babe: Tony Stark notes how she fits this trope to a T, though as a paler shade.
  • Interspecies Romance: Falls for both human Peter Parker and Togruta Ahsoka Tano.
  • Living Emotional Crutch: Relies on Peter and Ahsoka to be this for her after the traumatic events of the Citadel.
  • The Medic: Barriss was gifted by the Force to have the ability to heal injuries. While her powers fluctuate for a time due to the trauma of the Citadel, her relationship with Ahsoka and Peter helps her return to normal.
  • Metaphorical Marriage: As part of her plan to forge a new lightsaber, Barriss offers her original weapon to Ahsoka, declaring that she considers this a proposal by giving Ahsoka (and by extension, Peter) what was once her weapon to reflect her intention to pledge her life to theirs.
  • Mind Link Mates: As her relationship with Ahsoka and Peter deepens, the three of them start to develop a unique type of force bond.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Similar to Ahsoka above, she wears a quite reasonably revealing outfit, namely a copy of Asaji Ventress' clothes on the eve of Halloween, on account of Natasha Romanoff setting the two girls up to interact in a flirtatious manner with Peter. Compared to Ahsoka's normal clothing, she is dressed more conservatively , but it still makes her quite the looker.
  • Polyamory: Enters a relationship with both Ahsoka and Peter.
  • Purple Is Powerful: She currently uses Revan's purple lightsaber until she finds a way to forge a new one.
  • Rule of Symbolism: As her relationship with Peter and Ahsoka deepens, Barriss affirms that she plans to forge a new lightsaber for herself, feeling that her original lightsaber reflects the person that she was when she made it, but she has undergone so many changes since forming her relationship with Peter and Ahsoka that she wants a new lightsaber to reflect that personal growth.
  • Secret-Keeper: She's one of the Jedi the Avengers confide in about the control chips.
  • What Is This Thing You Call "Love"?: Invoked when Barriss has the chance to talk with Ahsoka about her realization about her feelings for Ahsoka and Peter after Peter has been beaten unconscious by Ultron; Barriss doesn't have the emotional background to actually say the words, but she does her best to explain the depth of her feelings for Peter and Ahsoka, and Ahsoka tentatively acknowledges that the two are important to her as well.

Aayla Secura

Species: Twi'Lek

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/infinite_wars_age_of_ultron_aayla_secura__by_freemanwriter_dgkvfcx_fullview.jpg
Aayla Secura

Jedi Knight, former Padawan of Quinlan Vos, becomes close to the Avengers, Steve Rogers in particular. She eventually becomes Steve Rogers’ lover

  • Age-Gap Romance: Steve Rogers is, technically, around 70-80 years older than Aayla Secura, who's in her late 20s.
  • Action Girl: Already a general in the War when she meets the Avengers and has even shown some skill in using Steve's shield.
  • Ascended Extra: She was a minor recurring character in The Clone Wars cartoon, here she has more of a presence as one of the Avengers' closest Jedi allies. She also ultimately becomes the girlfriend of Steve Rogers.
  • All Women Are Lustful: Downplayed. Aayla is the one to initiate the sexual side of her and Steve's relationship, and is practically giddy afterwards.
  • Blue Is Heroic: Her lightsaber and her Rutian Twi’Lek skin color.
  • Bridal Carry: Literally jumps into Steve’s arms at one point just so he can do this to her, admitting that she enjoyed seeing this action in all the films and TV shows the Avengers have shared with their new allies.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: As per her Legends version, she passed a memory wipe, spent time as a slave (not to just her estranged uncle Pol Secura, but a hibernated Dark Jedi Volfe Karkko until Vos saved her), and saw her master (apparently) turning to the Dark Side.
  • A Father to His Men: A female version, to the Clones under her command. She doesn't take lightly the reveal about the control chips.
  • Glad-to-Be-Alive Sex: She and Steve have this in chapter 112 after Ultron's ultimate demise.
  • Green-Skinned Space Babe: Blue, actually. Steve Rogers can’t help but immediately notice when they first meet.
  • Honorary True Companion: She's one of the Avengers' closest allies in the Jedi Order and frequently joins them on missions. She also became Steve Rogers' lover.
  • Impossible Hourglass Figure: Aayla definitely has a nice figure, that's for sure.
  • Inter Species Romance: She is in a relationship with Steve Rogers, a human from Earth, since chapter 85
  • Master Swordswoman: She is a master of Form IV, also known as Ataru, which focuses on acrobatic combat and deflecting blaster bolts.
  • Most Common Superpower: Very well-developed around her chest.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Aayla Secura is a very beautiful, blue-skinned female Rutian Twi'lek who wears a revealing yet form-fitting outfit that highlights her very voluptuous yet athletic body, nice legs, toned stomach, and large bust. This got noticed by Steve Rogers, while on Naboo, when they first met.
  • My Significance Sense Is Tingling: When Steve first tells her about Project Insight, she has a strong sense of something in the Force, which is clearly intended to foreshadow Order 66.
  • Nice Girl: Like many female Jedi, Aayla strongly believes in the Jedi Code, saving a Geonosian workforce in the Secret Research Facility from debris and ordering them to escape, despite them being Separatists, and assures Tee Watt Kaa that the Jedi never started the Clone Wars, only wishing to end it. Also, she was one of few Jedi that Avengers consider Honorary True Companion, one of few who got shared info on the control chips and Order 66, assures Anakin no one is happy about mind control chips, and she can’t stand the idea of her own troopers being used as slaves, she comforts Steve over his Fish out of Temporal Water problems and Peggy’s death.
  • Sage Love Interest: Played with it; while they weren't a couple at the time, Aayla demonstrated some lightsaber forms and the ways of the Force to Steve.
  • Second Love: To Steve Rogers, especially after Peggy's death.
  • Secret-Keeper: She's one of the Jedi the Avengers choose to confide in about the control chips.
  • Single Woman Seeks Good Man: Reasons why she formed an attachment and feelings for Steve Rogers:
    1) Strong, resolute with an indomitable will and staunch moral code of always running towards danger and those in need, never letting anyone who could be saved get left behind. He was a man to be admired and many within the Clone army and the Jedi Order thought very highly of him. He led by example, finding himself to be fast friends with the bullheaded and reckless Anakin Skywalker.
    2) Steve having sympathy and empathy for her Dark and Troubled Past, something she shared with her Masters only.
  • Their First Time: Her and Steve’s Pre-Climax Climax in chapter 107.
  • What Is This Thing You Call "Love"?: After the Citadel mission her feelings for Steve begin to become more prominent in her thoughts, although she only goes to confess to him after speaking with her former masters.

Luminara Unduli

Species: Mirialan

Jedi Master and mentor to Barris Offee.

  • Adaptational Job Change: In canon she was simply a Jedi Master and General. In this story, she is promoted to be on the Jedi Council, after the death of Eeth Koth.
  • Affectionate Nickname: "Lumi" by James Rhodes, which fuels Tony Stark’s Shipper on Deck tendency for Rhodey and Luminara, much to their chagrin.
  • Character Development: Preparing for the final confrontation against Ultron, Luminara reflects to Rhodey that where she could have simply mourned Barriss and moved on if she had lost her Padawan at the start of the Clone Wars, by this time she's prepared to admit that she sees Barriss as the closest thing she's ever had to a daughter.
  • Dude Magnet: along with Even Girls Want Her, implied during her years as Padawan, Knight, and Master. Until Rhodey, she was Celibate Hero.
  • Emerald Power: Her lightsaber colour.
  • Green-Skinned Space Babe: Although, she's more attractive in a classically beautiful way instead of being sexualized. This only encourages Tony’s Shipper on Deck for her and Rhodey, much to their mutual annoyance.
  • Meaningful Name: She is a Jedi Master whose name means "light".
  • The Mentor: To Barriss Offee.
  • Parental Substitute: To Barriss; preparing for the final confrontation with Ultron, Luminara affirms to Rhodey that Barriss is basically the closest thing she's ever had to a daughter.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: While she is uncomfortable keeping secrets from the Jedi Council, she accepts Rhodey's argument to hide the knowledge of the inhibitor chips and Order 66 until they have a plan to deal with them on a large scale.
  • Secret-Keeper: As mentioned above she is one of the few Jedi to be informed about the control chips.
  • Ship Tease: When Tony Stark arrives in the Galaxy Far, Far Away, he starts hinting to Rhodey that he should pursue a relationship with Luminara. Fueled with Rhodey's Affectionate Nickname "Lumi" and her acceptance of Rhodey's dinner date invitation to Dexter’s restaurant after battle against Ultron.
  • Stone Wall: She fights using Form III: Soresu. This form is all about having an unbreakable defense that will cause opponents to tire out or make a mistake that will leave them open for counterattacks.
  • You Remind Me of X: Anakin comments to Ahsoka that the way she silently worries over Barriss after both of their Padawans head off to Onderon without telling them reminds Anakin of his mother.

Plo Koon

Species: Kel Dor

Jedi Master. Ace pilot. Source of wisdom. Billiards expert.

  • Ace Pilot: One of the best in the Jedi order.
  • Baritone of Strength: His voice is often described as deep and commanding, representing his strength as a Jedi.
  • Blue Is Heroic: His lightsaber.
  • Cool Mask: And a necessary one as oxygen is toxic to his species.
  • Hidden Depths: The Jedi Master proves himself an excellent player of pool when the Avengers first reveal it, even without using the Force. He quickly becomes a sort of champion among Jedi and clones alike.
  • Shock and Awe: Like in Legends, Plo Koon has his own version of Force Lightning called Force Judgement.

Even Piell

Species: Lannik

Jedi Master. Former superior to Tarkin.

Ima-Gun Di

Species: Kajain'sa'Nikto

Jedi Master. Befriended Quicksilver on Ryloth.

  • Ascended Extra: From a one off memorable episode, to a recurring character up until the Battle of Kamino.
  • Blue Is Heroic: His lightsaber colour.
  • Dies Differently in Adaptation: In canon, he died making a heroic last stand allowing Cham Sendula's forces to escape to safety. Here he survives the Ryloth Campaign but is later killed by General Grievous during the Battle of Kamino.
  • Due to the Dead: After his death, Pietro is allowed to keep his lightsaber as a memento, and is even shown training with it.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: With Quicksilver during their time together on Ryloth and remain so afterwards. His death at the hands of Grievous devasted the Avenger.

Caleb Dume

Species: Human (Coruscanti)

A youngling at the Jedi Temple and later Padawan of Jedi Master Depa Billaba.

Quinlan Vos

Species: Kiffa

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/infinite_wars_season_4_2_6.jpg
Quinlan Vos

A Jedi tracker who prefers being in the field to temple life. Former master to Aayla Secura.

  • Facial Markings: A gold stripe across his nose.
  • The Gadfly: First thing he does when he sees Aayla troubled by her feelings for Steve? Playfully tease her.
  • The Mentor: Was Aayla Secura's master.
  • Parental Substitute: To his former Padawan.
  • Secret-Keeper: Becomes the first Jedi to learn of Wanda's Sith holocrons during the first visit to Tython, and agrees to keep that knowledge from the rest of the Jedi once he's established that the other Avengers also know of them.
  • Shipper on Deck: Seems to approve of his former Padawan getting together with Steve Rogers.

T'ra Saa

Species: Neti

Jedi Master who becomes fast friends with Steve Rogers, as they both notice problematic elements in the Jedi lifestyle.

  • Cool Old Lady: Centuries old but a very friendly individual. Fast friend with Steve Rogers
  • Interspecies Romance: She is a plant-based Neti and is in a relationship with a Tholme, a human.
  • Mayfly–December Romance: She comes from a species that lives for centuries and will outlive her lover, Tholme.
  • Non-Mammal Mammaries: Her species are derived from plants... yet she has breasts. Though then again, the Neti are a shapeshifting species, so she might've chosen to have this appearance, and there's nothing saying that the Neti, like some plants, don't have sexual dimorphism either.
  • The Noseless: Do plants really need noses? Then probably not plant people either.
  • Parental Substitute: To Aayla Secura, being the closest thing the knight has to a mother.
  • Really 700 Years Old: See above tropes.
  • Rank Up: She's promoted to the Jedi Council after the conversion of Even Piell by Ultron.
  • Shipper on Deck: Like with Quinlan Vos, she approves of Aayla getting together with Steve Rogers, observing that the only danger of attachment is becoming obsessed with loss rather than living in the moment.

Tholme

Species: Human

A male human, Tholme was a powerful Jedi who was skilled at manipulation, spying, and combat. His skills at subterfuge made him a vital part of secret Jedi missions, and key player in the Clone Wars. He trained both Quinlan Vos and Aalya Secura and had a close relationship with fellow Jedi Master T'ra Saa.

  • Dark Is Not Evil: He wears dark robes, has a rather sinister appearance at times, and often takes actions that flirt with breaking the Jedi Code and the dark side, but he is a dedicated Jedi who seeks to uphold the values of the Republic.
  • Eye Scream: He lost his left eye dueling Count Dooku on Bakura shortly after the Battle of Geonosis.
  • Faking the Dead: A specialty of his: he can enter an Anzati Death Trance, which can fool his enemies into thinking him dead, only for him to emerge from it and wreck havoc on them when they least expect it.
  • Guile Hero: He specializes in creating complex plots, overseeing spies, and manipulating enemies of the Jedi.
  • Handicapped Badass: Averted: his right leg was crushed by rocks in his duel with Dooku, leaving him with a severe limp. Tholme refused to get a artificial replacement, instead using a cane, and ceased going on missions for most of the Clone Wars. When he does take the field again, he gets his leg replaced, realizing that his own dislike of cybernetics had clouded his judgment and prevented him from getting involved in several conflicts where his presence would have been very beneficial.
  • Interspecies Romance: He is a human Jedi Master in a relationship with Master T'ra Saa, plant-based Neti.
  • Master Swordsman: Even Count Dooku acknowledges his skills with a lightsaber, believing him to be one of the few Jedi who truly understands how to use one.
  • Mayfly–December Romance: He is involved with T'ra Saa, who comes from a species that lives for centuries and will outlive him.
  • Meaningful Name: His characterization is based off of Sherlock Holmes. His alias during a mission to Devaron was "Miles Croft", a reference to Mycroft Holmes, the brother of Sherlock Holmes.
  • Only One Name: He has no last name.
  • Parental Substitute: To Aayla Secura, being the closest thing Aayla has to a father.
  • The Spymaster: He runs the Jedi Order's spy network and handles the assignments of any Jedi undercover.
  • Shipper on Deck: Like Quinlan and T'ra, he seems to approve of Aayla Secura getting together with Steve Rogers.

Eeth Koth

Species: Zabrak (Iridonian)

A member of the Jedi Council and leader of a Clone Army division.

  • Dies Differently in Adaptation: Rather than being killed by Vader after the Clone Wars, here he is killed by Chezo Niva during a rescue attempt.
  • Due to the Dead: Koth’s funeral is attended directly by a wide range of Jedi and his Clone division, as well as the Avengers, acknowledging how Koth died saving Hope’s life.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Dies protecting Hope from Sith Acolyte Chezo Niva.
  • Public Secret Message: When Koth and Scott are captured, Koth is able to use hand signals to pass on a message during a broadcast to the Republic identifying their current location.

Saesee Tiin

Species: Iktotchi

Jedi Master and member of the Council

  • Armor-Piercing Question: When some of the Council are debating the offer of a cease-fire with the Separatists to oppose Ultron, Saesee points out that after some of the threats that have emerged from among the Jedi, including Exar Kun or Revan, they cannot object to an alliance with the Separatists because of fear of what might happen.

Kass Todd

Species: Zabrak

Jedi Padawan

  • Badass in Distress: One of the Padawans captured by Ultron and released to be hunted.
  • Interspecies Romance: Is secretly involved with fellow Padawan Mak Lotar, a human.
  • Secret-Keeper: Is the first person Ahsoka tells that she's in a relationship with two other people rather than just one.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: She and Mak survive the Battle of Jabiim and become recurring characters.

Mak Lotar

Species: Human

Jedi Padawan

  • Interspecies Romance: Is secretly involved with fellow Padawan Kas Todd, a Zabrak.
  • Secret-Keeper: Played with, since Barriss hints to him that she, Peter and Ahsoka are in a relationship, but the webhead cuts the conversation to focus on Ahsoka and Kass' disappearance.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: He and Kass survive the Battle of Jabiim and become recurring characters.

Kalifa

Species: Human

Jedi Padawan

  • And I Must Scream: After being converted into an Ultron drone, Ultron kept her "alive" but imprisoned in her own mind so that he could use her Force abilities for himself.
  • Badass in Distress: One of the Padawans captured by Ultron and released to be hunted.
  • Dies Differently in Adaptation: Rather than being shot by Garnac, Kalifa is converted and killed by Ultron.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Pushes Jinx and O-Mer to safety and is converted and killed by Ultron in their "place".
  • Unwilling Roboticisation: Ultron forces this upon her, even keeping her body "alive" so that he can wield the Force through her.

O-Mer

Species: Cerean

Jedi Padawan

Jinx

Species: Twi'lek

Jedi Padawan

Nuru Kungurama

Species: Chiss

A Jedi Padawan. One of only a very few male Chiss to be born with Force-sensitivity, and also one of the few force-sensitive Chiss deemed unlikely to lose his connection to the Force as he grows older.

  • Happily Adopted: A cultural example of this, as he declares that he considers himself a resident of this galaxy over any duty as a Chiss.

Shaak Ti

Species: Togruta

Jedi Master, primarily responsible for supervising the training of the Clone Troopers on Kamino.

  • Heroic Sacrifice: Subverted, she got knocked out by 99, who took her place instead and stayed behind, to be captured and cyberized by Ultron.
  • The Men First: She commands the evacuation of Clones during Ultron’s takeover of Kamino, with her to be last.

Maris Brood

Species: Zabrak

Jedi Padawan to Shaak Ti.

Qui-Gon Jinn

Species: Human

The Jedi who discovered Anakin and freed him so that he could be trained as a Jedi, as well as the former pupil to Count Dooku (before he left the Order) and Jedi Master to Obi-Wan Kenobi.

  • Posthumous Character: He's been dead for over ten years, slain by Maul in front of Obi-Wan.
  • Morality Pet: For Dooku. His death was the last straw for his former master to leave the Jedi Order and fall to the Dark Side.
  • Spirit Advisor: Appears to Obi-Wan and T'Challa on Mortis as a spirit, and later manifests before Count Dooku.

    Younglings
A selection of children who have been taken in by the Avengers,

Grogu a.k.a 'Baby Yoda'

Species: Unknown

A Force sensitive infant from the same species as legendary Jedi Master Yoda. More or less adopted by the Avengers on Coruscant.

  • Happily Adopted: Is cared for by the entire Coruscant Avengers team and quite happy about the arrangement.
  • Healing Hands: Demonstrates this to heal a bruise on Natasha's arm.
  • Older Than He Looks: Rhodey in particular is incredulous at the news that 'Baby Yoda' is already thirty years old.

Mara Jade

Species: Human

A young Force sensitive girl abducted by Cad Bane and later rescued by the Jedi and Avengers. Later, adopted by Natasha Romanoff.

  • Baby's First Words: Calls Natasha "Mama" while Natasha is recording a private message to Clint, which is apparently the first time she's said it.
  • Happily Adopted: Swiftly becomes Natasha's adopted daughter specifically, and once Clint arrives he is quick to proclaim himself Mara's uncle.
  • Little Miss Badass: Noting how Mara is showing an awareness of Natasha despite the Avengers all being ‘voids’ in the Force, Clint speculates that she’s essentially adapting her awareness of the Force to know when her mother is coming for her
  • Mythology Gag: A meta version: Mara Jade is often recognized as the Star Wars-Equivalent of Black Widow, especially because of their remarkably similar faces, hair color, outfits, fighting styles, reputations, backstories, and character developments. Ironically, that similarity (at least concerning the outfits and combat choices) might now be specifically because Natasha raises Mara as her own.

Merrin

Species: Zabrak/Nightsister (Dathomirian)

A young Dathomirian girl who Wanda bonds with.

  • Happily Adopted: Wanda is currently acting as guardian to her and Illyana after their mothers died in Queen Zalem's attack.

Illyana

Species: Zabrak/Nightsister (Dathomirian)

A young Dathomirian girl who Wanda bonds with and Asajj Ventress' cousin.

  • Ascended Extra: She was simply mentioned as Merrin's childhood friend, but here she plays a much bigger role alongside Merrin.
  • Happily Adopted: Wanda is currently acting as guardian to her and Merrin after their mothers died in Queen Zalem's attack.
  • Puppy-Dog Eyes: Uses these when persuading Wanda to at least try and get along with Asajj, as she doesn't want to see her adopted mother fighting with her cousin.
  • Related in the Adaptation: She is Asajj Ventress's cousin; their mothers were sisters.

    Clone Troopers
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/clone_troopers_4.png
Clone Troopers

The backbone of the Grand Army of the Republic, cloned from the legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett on the ocean world of Kamino. Supposedly, their creation was ordered by a Jedi Master.

In General

  • Alien Arts Are Appreciated: Like their Jedi leaders the Clones quickly take a liking to the various forms of Earth culture their new allies show them. This includes martial arts and tactics shown to them by the Avengers with military history and later some of them are going to learn sorcery from the Masters of the Mystic Arts.
  • Artificial Human: clones of Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett.
  • Bad Ass Normal: With four exceptions, they're more or less normal humans but thanks to their training they can keep up with the Force wielding Jedi and superpowered Avengers.
  • Clones Are People, Too: Even those Avengers meeting the clones for the first time never show any sign that they consider the clones less than people. Later some of them are going to learn sorcery from the Masters of the Mystic Arts. This makes the discovery of the inhibitor chips particularly disturbing for the heroes; one reason they keep that discovery secret from the majority is that they don't want people turning on the clones out of paranoia and fear.
  • You Can't Go Home Again: The aftermath of the fall of Kamino in chapter 105.

501st Legion (Captain Rex, Domino Squad, Jesse, Hardcase, Kix, etc.)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/age_of_ultron_captain_rex.png
This is Rex. You may refer to him as Captain or Sir.
The forces under Anakin Skywalker's command.
  • Blue Is Heroic: Their armour has blue markings.
  • Hidden Depths: When Earth makes contact with the Republic, Echo travels to Kamar-Taj for some lessons once it's confirmed he has potential to learn how to use magic.
  • Inspite Of A Nail: Droidbait remains the first Domino to fall.
  • Interspecies Romance: Captain Rex, a human Clone, is in a relationship with Deliah Blue, a female Zeltron.
  • The Medic: Kix.
  • Number Two: Rex is this to Anakin.
  • Origins Episode: Chapter 41 is basically Rex's origin story.
  • Ship Tease/ Shipper on Deck: Rex gets the former with the 501st's first conscript, engineer Deliah Blue. Several of his troops quickly become the latter talking him up and pushing him to spend time with her.
    • To add to this, it is revealed in Chapter 90 by Domino Squad that a pact has been formed within the 501st that due to Deliah Blues' clear interest in Captain Rex, all other 501st Troopers are to back off and let Rex have someone like her. Real Bro Code stuff.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: In canon, the only survivors of the attack on the Rishi base were Fives and Echo. Thanks to War Machine's intervention however, both Cutup and Hevy survive to join the 501st with their squad mates.
  • To Be Lawful or Good: When Rex meets Cut, a "rogue" clone who has left the army to start a family, he chooses to keep that detail secret, only sharing it with some of the Avengers, Anakin and Ahsoka, all of whom agree that Cut has the right to choose his life.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Domino Squad all go through training to become ARC Troopers.
    • Later, Echo is one of the clones discovered to have the potential for sorcery and leaves for Kamar-Taj to learn how.

212th Battallion (Commander Cody, Waxer, Boil)

The forces under Obi-Wan Kenobi's command.

  • Everyone Has Standards: In Chapter 96, Commander Cody admits holding no amount of love or respect towards the Geonosians but even he shows how disturbed he is by the fact that Ultron has essentially doomed the species native to Geonosis to extinction, a sentiment shared by Waxer and Boil, as the realization truly begins to set in just how dedicated Ultron is to achieving his warped goal of extinction through evolution.
  • Not So Above It All: When Cody learned of the 501st trying to push Rex into a relationship with Deliah Blue he planned to read them the riot act but after seeing the two interact he quickly joined in.
  • Number Two: Cody is this to Obi-Wan.
  • Those Two Guys: Waxer and Boil are rarely seen apart.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Waxer and Boil go through training to become ARC Troopers.

327th Star Corps (Commander Bly, Cameron, Lucky, Flash)

The forces under Aayla Secura's command.
  • Ascended Extra: Cameron, Lucky, and Flash were just background grunts who were killed in their introductory episode. In this story, they survive the events on Maridun and become recurring faces under Aayla and Bly's command, eventually even being promoted to ARC Troopers.
  • Number Two: Bly to Aayla.
  • Shipper on Deck: Bly joins Natasha's plans to get his general and Captain Rogers together.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Cameron, Lucky and Flash all go through training to become ARC Troopers.

71st Legion (Captain Keeli, Sergeant Grit, Sixer, Mork)

The forces under the command of Ima-Gun Di, current Jedi leadership unknown.

  • Ascended Extra: Go from a memorable single episode apperance to recurring characters.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: The entire legion with Pietro during their time together on Ryloth.
  • Number Two: Keeli to Ima-Gun.
  • Original Character: Other than Keeli, all of the 71st are new creations.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: In canon, all shown members of the Legion died in a heroic stand to defend the Twi'Leks of Ryloth, thanks to Quicksilver's presence they survived the campaign.

41st Legion (Commander Gree)

The Forces under Luminara Unduli's command.

104th Battalion aka The Wolfpack (Commander Wolffe, Sinker, Boost, Comet)

The forces under Plo Koon's command.

Coruscant Guard (Thorn, Thire, Bee, Jek, Rys, etc)

An elite unit of Clones based on Coruscant for the capital world's security. Peter Parker regularly joins them on patrol when he's on the planet.

Delta Squad (Boss, Fixer, Sev, Scorch)

A Clone Commando Unit that works with Quinlan Vos.

Clone Force 99 aka The Bad Batch (Hunter, Tech, Wrecker, Crosshairs)

A Clone Commando Unit made up of Clones with experimental mutations granting them different abilities.

  • Cold Sniper: Crosshairs.
  • Everybody Has Standards: Crosshairs is usually apathetic to "Regs" at best but even he's horrified by what Ultron has done to his Clone prisoners.
  • Friendly Rivalry: With fellow Commando unit Delta Squad.
  • Modified Clone:
  • Not So Stoic: Wrecker is not much of a surprise, maybe Hunter but Tech and even Crosshairs are visibly horrified by Ultron's experiments on his prisoners.
    • All of them after 99's sacrifice. Wrecker takes his grief out on anything he can get his hands on until he just starts crying with Omega. Crosshairs, however, throws his gun against the wall and is visible enraged.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Hunter notes that Tech is surprisingly eager to contribute to the destruction of the Citadel after witnessing Ultron's experiments.
    • Later Wrecker attends a therapy group set up by Sam Wilson and Dani for those tramatised by the Citadel mission.
  • Sensor Character: Hunter's enhanced ability is superior senses, to the point he can even detect electromagnetic frequencies.
  • The Smart Guy: Tech's enhanced ability.
  • Super-Strength: Wrecker's enhanced ability.

99

A defective clone assigned to maintenance duties on Kamino as he is unfit for combat. Despite this, 99 is a source of encouragement and guidance for many of his younger brothers.

  • Almighty Janitor: He works in maintenance which proves to be a massive asset during the Battle of Kamino as he knows the facilities better than anyone.
  • Armor-Piercing Question: Delivers one to Ultron of all people, realising that Ultron doesn't want to be alone but can only convert others into beings like himself rather than ever finding a true equal.
  • Cool Big Bro: To many of the younger Clone Troopers. Hunter mentions the support and encouragement he gave the experimental Bad Batch during their training in a conversation with Steve Rogers, making his appreciation for 99 clear.
    Steve: He's a good man.
    Hunter: He's a good brother.
  • Cool Old Guy: He's this to Domino Squad, the Bad Batch and many of the clone troopers who met him while in training. It's later confirmed he's the oldest of the Jango clones seen.
  • Cybernetics Eat Your Soul: Forced on him by Ultron immediately after the fall of Kamino.
  • Defiant to the End: Even when facing Ultron's prime body, fully aware that he's going to be converted into another of Ultron's new cyborg drones, 99 stays true to himself and defies Ultron's offer to join him willingly even when he knows he'll get killed.
  • Dies Differently In The Adaptation: In canon, he died in a heroic attempt to get more ammo during the battle for Kamino. Here, he survived that battle thanks to the Wasp covering him, but ultimately sacrifices himself to Ultron to ensure Shaak Ti and as many surviving Clones and Kaminoans that are left can escape the mad A.I., an act that leads to Ultron converting him.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Stuns Shaak Ti and forces her onto an evacuating ship so that she can escape Kamino after Ultron's attack while he stays behind to cover the rest.
  • Loved by All: Everyone who meets this guy not only likes him but winds up holding him in the highest regard. He's considered the favorite brother of the entire clone army, even Crosshairs has a soft spot for him and is visibly enraged by his death.
  • Nice Guy: Easily one of the most likeable Clones you will ever meet.
  • Secret-Keeper: He was the only one aware of the Avengers installing a contingency in the city of Tipoca.
  • Shipper on Deck: see below.
  • Not So Above It All: He joins his brothers in teasing Rex over Deliah Blue’s crush and display of affection.

Omega

Unaltered clone of Jango Fett. She lives on Kamino assisting scientist Nala Se in her lab and, when she has the time, 99 with his duties.

Fordo

A legendary ARC Trooper, called in to help train other troopers nominated for the position.

  • Expy Coexistence: Rex was created as a composite between Fordo and Alpha-17, and here all three clones are even present on the same battles.
  • Famed In-Story: Fordo is a living legend in The GAR, being one of the first ARC Troopers approved for combat and having set the standard for others.
  • Red Is Heroic: His armour has red markings.

    Sith
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/the_coming_darkness_of_the_ancient_sith_lords_by_freemanwriter_dfz0hzb_fullview.jpg
The Ancient Sith Lords from left to right. The Son, Naga Sadow, Tulak Hord, Darth Nihilus, Darth Malgus, Barel Ovair, Darth Momin, Gethzerion and Exar Kun.

Ancient enemies to the Jedi Order who use the Force to their own ends, working towards the destruction of their old adversaries.

In General

  • And Then What?: As Maul points out, the Sith have no real long-term goal or vision other than destroy the Jedi and gain power. They have no plan on what to do after these objectives are completed and would become complacent which would eventually lead to their overthrow.
  • Army of The Ages: The True Sith faction revives several Sith Lords from different eras of galactic history.
  • Cool Sword: Like their ancient enemies, Sith wield lightsabers the only difference being their blades are all red.
  • Enemy Civil War: Various Sith factions are emerging as the war unfolds, ranging from those Acolytes loyal to Sidious or Dooku to those who have brought back other Sith for their own agenda.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: The Darth title, which Ultron lampshades.
Ultron: "Tell me something, Darth Sidious. Do you Sith Lords blatantly choose names that make you sound evil or is it just tradition by this point?"
  • Red and Black and Evil All Over: They wield red lightsabers, dress in dark colours and their tastes in names and aesthetics tend to make anyone else immediately think of evil.

Sheev Palpatine/Darth Sidious

Species: Human (Naboo)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/infinite_wars_season_4_2_771.jpg
Darth Sidious

Dark Lord of the Sith, Chancellor of the Republic and one of the central antagonists of the story.

  • Big Bad Wannabe: With Ultron wreaking havoc, Thanos on his way and many of his plans severely compromised, including Order 66, Palpatine is no longer the greatest threat to the Republic and Jedi.
  • Break the Haughty: After the fall of Kamino, even Palpatine admits to himself that the Sith Grand Plan is ruined, since the Republic will need to draft non-clone soldiers, and they will outnumber the Clones eventually, denying the possibility of the Order 66. Even after Ultron is defeated, Palpatine concedes that his original plan to corrupt Anakin into becoming his apprentice is impossible due to Anakin's friendships with the Avengers giving him greater moral support.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: While saying that Palpatine "loves" anything might be a stretch, he has enough attachment to his home planet of Naboo that Ultron targets that planet as part of his most outrageous assault because he knows that Palpatine would hate to lose that particular world.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: Comes up for Palpatine more than once;
    • Early on, he also believed that the Avengers and the Republic would "inevitably" come into conflict as the heroes of Earth learnt more about this new culture, the Sith's focus on absolutes leaving Palpatine unable to conceive of the idea that the Avengers could dislike certain aspects of their allies' culture but still wish to aid their allies as they draw a distinction between the Republic being flawed and the Republic being "bad".
    • He also explicitly questions why the Avengers would provide the Confederacy with a buffer against Ultron, unable to understand the idea that Ultron is such a threat he merits that kind of response.
    • As more Avengers arrive in this galaxy, Palpatine privately reflects that he finds the heroes' efforts to protect the weak actually offensive, unable to comprehend why beings with their powers, including a literal God, would "waste" that power keeping others safe when those people "should" be beneath their notice.
  • Fantastic Racism: He's internally outraged at the notion that some clones have been invited back to Earth to learn sorcery from the Masters of the Mystic Arts, regarding the clones as expendable tools who shouldn't be allowed to learn sorcery or other such skills.
  • Fatal Flaw: Pride. To put it simply, Palpatine refuses to accept he has been bested by pretty much everyone, from the Avengers to Ultron. Even after Ultron takes over Kamino and destroys the trump card that is Order 66, Palpatine still clings on to the idea that once the AI has been defeated, he can not only savage his ruined plans but also beat back both the Jedi and the Avengers. That makes him completely oblivious to the fact that Dooku and the Acolytes are planning to betray him and establish their own plans for the Sith, not mention the Avengers themselves are making plans to expose him, even if they still don't know his true identity as Darth Sidious.
  • Ignorant of Their Own Ignorance: By the time Ultron has been defeated, Palpatine is completely unaware that the Avengers in particular are at least certain that he is the Sith Lord behind the Clone Wars even if they have no evidence.
  • Not So Above It All: When he joins various other Republic "allies" in watching The Lord of the Rings, Palpatine privately muses that he likes the look of the Ringwraiths and considers how he might have his own forces adopt such a look.
    • Also, in a Halloween Omake, he plans to attend a costume party in his Sith robes and Mas Amedda has to talk him out of it. He's noticeably saddened when he goes to change.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Ultron is such a threat that Palpatine actually suggests to Dooku that they pursue a ceasefire between both sides of the war to let them focus on Ultron before returning to their existing conflict. Later on, after Ultron's victory on Kamino, Palpatine is so stressed that he actually opens a rare bottle of wine to brood over his frustrations.
  • Obviously Evil: By the time the Avengers regain contact with Earth, everyone on the team has concluded that Palpatine is evil to some degree, but they don't know he's the Sith Master behind everything and they can't risk confronting anyone about it without evidence. Following Ultron’s defeat, once the Avengers express their belief that Palpatine is the Sith Lord, just looking at his picture has Robbie Reyes comment that the Rider can feel the sin coming off him.
  • Revealing Cover Up: Palpatine's ability to shield his mind from casual mental probes basically confirms to the Avengers that he's up to something once Wanda rejoins the team and confirms that she can't read his mind. While Wanda and the rest of the team acknowledge that she can't probe at his barriers too deeply without making it clear that she knows he's hiding something, the confirmation that he has something to hide in the first place affirms to all of the Avengers that Palpatine isn't the kind old Chancellor he's pretending to be.
  • Stupid Evil: Ironic, given his former status as one of the Galaxy's biggest chessmasters, but as mentioned under Fatal Flaw, Palpatine is the only person who still believes the power balance will go back to what it once was before the Avengers arrived and the war against Ultron and that his master plan can still be put in practice. Even Dooku, his most trusted ally, is making plans to overthrow his former master.
  • Xanatos Speed Chess: For once, Palpatine isn't entirely capable of this. While he is working on adapting the Avengers and Ultron into his plans, Dooku in particular has reflected that Palpatine's continued focus on his original goal rather than truly changing his plans to accommodate the new heroes has hampered their own schemes. It takes until Ultron's final defeat for Palpatine to accept that he needs to truly change his plans and start exploring alternatives.

Count Dooku/Darth Tyrannus

Species: Human (Serennian)

Sith Lord, Count of Serenno, former Jedi Master and leader of the Separatist alliance.

  • Adaptational Nice Guy: While still a villain who wants the Sith to rule the galaxy, his more sympathetic motivations from canon are present, plus he explains to Ventress that he only pretended to have her disposed of so they could secretly plot against Sidious.
  • Anti-Villain: While Dooku may be a Dark Lord of Sith working to overthrow his master, he is still presented as a well-intentioned man seeking only the best for the Galaxy, plus the fact that Palpatine is a dellusional power hungry fool who refuses to accept defeat, Dooku is by far the most noble antagonist in the story.
  • Defector from Decadence: Dooku was aware of how corrupted the Republic became and how the Jedi Order turned complacent with their duty and this led to him becoming dellusional with the system, but Qui-Gon's death was the final straw in the long list of disappointments in his life that led him to abandon the Order.
  • Dragon with an Agenda: While in canon he was loyal to Sidious until the latter ordered him to kill Ventress, here Dooku starts to distance himself from his master when it becomes clear that Sidious' fixation with completing his original plan is preventing him from adapting to all the problems the Avengers and their enemies have caused.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Regardless of what he has become since turning to the Dark Side, when he witnesses Qui-Gon Jinn's spirit Dooku affirms that it is good to see his former pupil again, and Qui-Gon reciprocates the sentiment.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Dooku is genuinely disturbed when Ventress tells him what she has learnt about the plans of her biological father, Ego, and his intentions for the wider galaxy.
  • Like a Son to Me: Admits to the Avengers that he saw Qui-Gon Jinn as the closest he ever had to a son.
  • Not So Stoic: The usually controlled Dooku is so shocked that he actually drops his lightsaber when the Force Ghost of Qui-Gon Jinn appears to him after Ultron’s defeat.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: After Ultron hijacks his transmission and reveals all the Separatist military's war crimes are not Republic propaganda but honest facts to his Senate, he is visibly shocked and speechless.
  • The Starscream: Originally wasn't planning to be one, but the realization that Sidious' obsession with following his original plan when too many things are interfering with it leads Dooku to begin making plans to become this trope.
  • Worthy Opponent: When he first meets the Avengers directly during the ceasefire conference, Dooku acknowledges them with respect and observes that many things might have been different if they had met directly on the field of battle.
  • You Have Failed Me: Asajj believes at first that Dooku betrayed her and left her for dead in the battle for the Sillust system, but he later confronts her in person to explain that he didn't. Sidious wanted her eliminated, but Dooku had tried to tell her to retreat.

Asajj Ventress

Species: Zabrak (Dathomirian)note

Sith Apprentice to Dooku, daughter of Ego and lost sister to Peter Quill.

  • Crossover Relatives: Upon her return to Dathomir, she is revealed to be a daughter of Ego and hence Peter Quill's and Mantis’ half-sister.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: When Asajj learns that Peter Quill is still willing to completely remove his Celestial power, she's left completely unable to understand why he would ever want to do that, having grown up in cultures where the quest for power is a defining force.
  • Not So Similar: When some of Wanda's allies on Dathomir try to compare Asajj to Wanda given Wanda's past alliance with Ultron, Wanda rejects that analogy as she was only allied with Ultron due to her misunderstanding his agenda where Asajj is a known enemy of the other Avengers.
  • Related in the Adaptation: As well as the above, she is also revealed to be the cousin to Ilyana, one of Wanda Maximoff's adopted daughters; Ilyana's mother and Asajj's mother were sisters.
  • Underestimating Badassery: Ventress does this to both Captain America and Falcon in their first fight, as she initially believes that they won't be much of a threat due to her own combat skills and Force abilities.
  • You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: Asajj's absolute HORROR at finding out that the people who will help train her celestial powers are the crazy idiots she thought she'd only have to do ONE job with, and ALSO she’s related to them.

Kreia/Darth Traya

Species: Force Spirit

An Ancient Sith Lady notable for her disdain of the Force in general, her spirit now serves as a mentor to the Scarlet Witch.

  • Above Good and Evil: Sees both sides as ultimately artificial projections of the Force, and instead desires to teach Wanda in order to escape the prison of destiny and fate.
  • Hypocrisy Nod: Admits that it's hyporcritcal to hate the Force yet continue using it, but she couldn't find a way to not to.
  • Red Baron: The Lady of Betrayal.
  • Spirit Advisor: She has this role for Wanda far more often than XoXaan.

XoXaan

Species: Force Spirit

A Dark Jedi and one of the original Dark Lords of the Sith, whose holocron is found by Wanda alongside Kreia's.
  • Broken Pedestal: She has a Villainous Breakdown when Kreia tells her that the very first Lord of the Sith, Ajunta Pall, regretted falling to the Dark Side and returned to the Force in death, since XoXaan saw it as a betrayal of everything their faction did.
  • Dude, Where's My Respect?: She hates that Wanda doesn't care about her titles or her importance as a founding member of the Sith. That Ventress does respect her is very pleasing for her.
  • Jerkass: She's a Sith lady and either in life or afterlife she's very unpleasant. That Wanda constantly seals her back only annoys her.

Chezo Niva

Species: Mirialan

A Sith Acolyte who develops a particular grudge against certain Avengers.

  • Adaptational Early Appearance: Chezo Niva a.k.a The Seventh Sister wouldn't make her first appearance until the peak of the Galactic Empire as an Inquisitor. Here, she is already serving as one of Dooku's Dark Acolytes, having switched sides before Order 66.
  • Arch-Enemy: Her interest in Scott leads to Chezo becoming this to Hope in particular; if the two find themselves in the same place, they will invariably end up fighting each other.
  • Boring Insult: The Avengers often criticize her unimaginative threats, dismissing Chezo as cliché & acute; and obvious.
  • Namedbythe Adaptation: Artworks accompanying the story reveal her to be the future inquisitor known as the Seventh Sister, whose original name was never given away.
  • Sensor Character: Chezo apparently prizes herself on her ability to sense others through the Force, allowing her to track the Avengers through the void they create in the Force.
  • Underestimating Badassery: She attempts to just attack Natasha with the Force, but the Avengers’ status as voids in the Force mean that even attacks such as the Force Choke just leave Natasha feeling like she has something stuck in her throat for a moment rather than actually choking her. Niva's attempt to deflect Natasha’s shots with her lightsaber also led to her being burnt by the melted bullets, despite Asajj having suffered a similar fate in her first clash with the Avengers.
  • Villainous Crush: Develops one for Scott in particular, such as enjoying seeing him stripped down to his underwear after he’s been captured.

Karness Muur

One of the first Sith Lords who attached himself to his talisman that survived for thousands of years. He was taken to Earth along with Celeste Morne, where he became the first major threat to be faced by the new Avengers assembled on Earth after the loss of so many of the originals.

  • Always a Bigger Fish: After absorbing various mystical beings, Muur attempted to repeat the process for Dormammu, but was overwhelmed and driven insane by the entity's sheer power.
  • Arc Villain: While Kaecilius is more of an immediate threat in the Stranger Travelers arc, Muur's effects are just as destructive and more personal to his Jedi arch enemy, making him the final boss for the arc.
  • Asshole Victim: That’s an understatement. His fate after centuries of chaos and destruction is well-deserved.
  • Call It Karma: Ultimately, Karness is destroyed by the Penance Stare after the other heroes wear him down.
  • Deader than Dead: Karness being struck by the Penance Stare essentially got his soul destroyed. There's no immortality that can bring him back from that.
  • Dead Man Walking: By absorbing various mystical creatures, he became an unstable timebomb with beings and powers that are gonna tear him apart internally and externally.
  • Evil Is Petty: Muur can't stand Bucky’s and Celeste’s romantic relationship.
  • Maker of Monsters: Even after his talisman is destroyed, he can still create new Rakghoul, this time augmented by the mystical beings he absorbed into himself.
  • Soul Jar: The Muur Talisman contained his soul for centuries, until it was removed by the Ancient One and finally destroyed by Celeste.
  • Transformation of the Possessed: After Karness Muur takes one of Kaecilius’s acolytes as his host, he is able to reshape the man's body to resemble his original one.
  • Villainous Breakdown: After he tried to absorb Dormammu's power, he suffers such serious damage that he describes it as though his soul was on fire and lacks any real sense of tactics in his final battle with Earth's heroes.

Barel Ovair

Species: Human

A Jedi scholar who is secretly a Sith Infiltrator. Part of The Son’s Sith faction.

  • Artifact of Doom: Managed to steal several during Ultron's attack on the Temple.
  • Deep Cover Agent: Sith Infiltrator in the Jedi Order.
  • Devil in Plain Sight: As well as above, he belongs to The Son's faction of Sith.
  • The Mole: Ovair is officially part of the Jedi Order but is in reality part of a secret Sith Order seeking to destroy the galaxy rather than rule it.

Darth Momin

An ancient Dark Lord of the Sith brought back to life by a cult.

  • Ignorant of Their Own Ignorance: Despite his talk of the knowledge he has gained since his death, Momin is unaware of the Avengers when he is initially brought back to life.
  • Mad Artist: Proclaims himself as the Sith Lord of Art. Sees the destruction and horror he spreads as pieces towards his ultimate masterpiece.
  • Straw Nihilist: Darth Momin is one of a group of Sith who see it as their duty to destroy everything rather than just rule the galaxy.
  • Stable Time Loop: As part of his restoration, Momin set up a meeting with his own past self where his younger self would transfer the necessary energy to himself to ensure his full rebirth in the present.
  • Villain Cred: For all that he holds only himself as a “masterpiece”, he holds tremendous reverence for Tulak Hord, and considers him the ideal all Sith should strive to be.

Darth Vectivus

Species: Human

The spirit of an ancient Sith, renowned in history as "the Sith that did no evil".

  • "Not So Different" Remark: One part of his philosophy observes how, in some ways, the Jedi and Sith both avoid attachment, but in the case of the Sith they actually end up destroying what they become attached to as compared to the Jedi avoiding them. Darth Vectivus observes that he managed to die in the company of various loved ones because he avoided going too far either way.
  • Token Good Teammate: Of all the Sith, he alone pursued the Dark Side primarily out of curiosity, never allowing himself to be consumed by greed or a lust for power that would have led to him destroying those he cared about.

Darth Vader

Species: Human (Cyborg)

One of the most powerful Sith Lords from Star Wars canon to ever terrorize the Galaxy Far, Far Away. He is brought into an alternate version of the Clone Wars by The Son, where he haunts and torments his younger, pre-Sith self: Anakin Skywalker.

  • Alternate Self: Some readers suggested that Vader was pulled from an Alternate Universe by The Son to face Anakin Skywalker. Word of God didn't confirm nor deny this theory, but when he faced Anakin again on Tython Vader made it clear that he didn't recognize the Avengers, lending this theory credence. It becomes a Discussed Trope In-Universe as well, as after Peter's multiversal adventure, Anakin begins to speculate that The Son also pulled Vader from an alternate universe.
  • Bullet Catch: Or the blaster bolts in this case, by utilizing the Tutaminis technique. Despite Obi-wan saying it requires considerable effort and concentration, Vader’s mastery sees him using it with ease.
  • Critical Status Buff: As demonstrated with his second fight against Anakin on Tython, should his life-support suit become damaged enough, he’ll start wheezing and losing the ability to breathe, bringing him to the verge of death. However, the subsequent pain and rage further fuels the power of the Dark Side; making him even stronger in the Force.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Even when dismissing Anakin as weak and blaming Obi-Wan and the Jedi for his fall, Vader shows a sense of familiarity and respect when looking at the Clone Troopers of Domino Squad.
  • Expy: Of Death from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. An unstoppable spirit who dresses in black. A living manifestation of one of the forces of the universe (in his case, destiny), he's not above taunting his target in the process, and sees his mission as laser focused without needing to involve others around him. The revelation of who he is shakes his victim to his core. Also, he can only be defeated when his prey is able to tap into the wisdom he learned from his friends and the tools they passed on to him in the process.
  • Future Badass: However much Anakin despises and is disgusted by his wicked future self, it cannot be denied that Vader is an absolute terror in battle, with Anakin at multiple points admiring Vader's skills, concluding that he's not against learning at least some of them.
  • Future Me Scares Me: While Anakin doesn't explicitly realize who he's fighting, during his time on Mortis he battles a figure in black armor as part of a vision forced upon him by The Son, dismissing the figure as "a giant tool who can't help but love hearing the sound of his own voice". Only the reader would be aware that this figure was clearly intended to be Darth Vader before he confirmed his identity in a rematch on Tython. Anakin... didn't take the revelation well.
  • Ignorant of Their Own Ignorance: When Vader and Anakin face off on Tython, it is soon clear that this Vader comes from a timeline without the Avengers, as he's surprised at how much snarkier Anakin is than he was expecting, and has no idea who Earth's mightiest heroes are when they interrupt the fight.
  • I Hate Past Me: It's apparent that Vader has no love for his younger self, and never wastes an opportunity to taunt him about his weaknesses and the tragedies that he is destined to suffer.
  • The Juggernaut:
    • He has the fighting skills of Anakin and the mechanical strength given to him after being augmented. Until he could fully utilize both the Light and Dark Sides force, Vader constantly had Anakin on the back foot in their second duel, and even then Anakin only manages to force a draw until backup arrived and Vader decides to retreat for the time being.
    • Later, in their second battle on Tython, he proceeds to take on Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Captain America, Falcon, Spider-Man, Rex, and Domino squad at the same time; managing to hold his own for a considerable while and giving each of his opponents a tough fight. Entering a physical contest with Captain America showed him to be on par in strength to the super-soldier’s enhanced physical abilities, and even as he takes physical damage throughout the fight that sees his life-support failing, it only fuels his Dark Side powers, making him even stronger.
  • My Greatest Failure: He is still haunted by the hand he had in Padme's death and his failure to prevent Ahsoka's banishment. That said...note
  • Never My Fault: He still blames his overall fate and misery on others, something Anakin calls him out on.
  • No Name Given: Since this story happens a few years before the events of Revenge of the Sith, no one knew who this imposing cyborg was at first— and Word of God doesn't gives us a name, but we all know that this is Vader, thanks to his quirks, personality and mannerisms (and his iconic breathing, too).
    • Vader properly introduces himself to Anakin in their duel on Tython before attacking his alternate younger self.
  • Our Ghosts Are Different: Whatever Vader is and however The Son summoned him, his capacity to physically interact with the universe he's been brought to is extremely limited. Thus far, he primarily exists more as a specter around Anakin who is only able to manifest in places strong in the Dark Side, such as Mortis and later a cave on Tython, but is only infrequently perceived when Anakin is anywhere else.
    • This also makes defeating him more complicated, as despite being beaten in their second battle on Tython, Vader merely fades away from Anakin while promising to return; as he will continue to exist until Anakin fully overcomes his Dark Side.
  • Vader Breath: Anakin nearly panics when he hears Vader's breathing in the Jedi Temple.
  • We Can Rule Together: Averted. Anakin thinks Vader wants Anakin to join him, but the Sith Lord later explicitly says that he never once made such an offer and is simply trying to hasten Anakin's fall to the Dark Side and/or kill him.

Freedon Nadd

Species: Human

Several thousand years ago, Freedon Nadd was a skilled Jedi apprentice who resented what he perceived as his master holding him back. He fell to the Dark Side and set himself up as king on the then-primitive planet Onderon, where his influence led to him corrupting the Jedi Exar Kun and Ulic Qel-Droma four thousand years before the Clone Wars.

  • Back from the Dead: Darth Maul and Savage Oppress are able to use various Sith powers and other sources to bring Freedon Nadd back to some form of life.
  • Famous Ancestor: He's the founder of the royal line of Onderon.
  • Horrifying the Horror: Is rather unsettled when Maul asks about the Soul Stone. Considering that his Legends-Incarnation was an individual of few mercies and non-existant morality, that's telling you something about the Infinity Stones when they can shake even the most foul ones of the Sith.

Prosset Dibs

Species: Miraluka

A Sith acolyte, former member of Jedi Order.
  • Blind Weaponmaster: Like other well-known Miraluka characters before him, he qualifies as this. Despite his lack of eyes, his enhanced senses and strong Force aptitude allow him to fight with as much skill as any Jedi Master.
  • Eyeless Face: Like the rest of the Miraluka, he lacks eyes and eyesockets.
  • Villain Has a Point: Much to his own and present Clone Troopers’ shock, Matt Murdock agrees about Prosset’s viewing the Jedi Order as a flawed, decadent dogmatic cult, during the First Battle of Kamino.
  • We Used to Be Friends: Jedi Master Mace Windu takes it the hardest once news about Prosset's fall to The Dark Side reach his ear.

Sev'Rance Tann

Species: Chiss

A Sith acolyte. Like Thrawn and Nuru, she was sent by the Chiss Ascendency to investigate the Republic and inform back to home space.

  • Only Sane Man: Out of all of Dooku's acolytes, she's easily the most reasonable and the one who doesn't let personal feelings to stop her from working with other factions.
  • The Strategist: As a Chiss, she's this by default for the Separatist forces.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: She doesn't die early in the war like her Legends' counterpart.

Kadrian Sey

Species: Zabrak

A Sith acolyte.

Darth Marr

Species: Human

An ancient Sith, whose spirit was contained in a holocron that was discovered on Tython.

  • Friendly Enemy: While Anakin is disturbed to find a Sith Holocron on Tython, Marr shows no sign of being actively hostile to the Jedi, even offering to give him some training.
  • The Mentor: Offers to be this for Anakin Skywalker after his Holocron is found by him.
  • Villain Respect: Though he is a Sith, a villain by technicality, Darth Marr shows open respect to the ancient Grandmaster of the Jedi Order Satele Shan, stating he viewed her as his equal and someone to be respected.

Darth Nihilus

Species Reincarnated Human

An Ancient Dark Lord of the Sith, brought back from Chaos by the True Sith.

  • Back from the Dead: Revived by Momin, Ovair, Gethzerion and the Son on Kamino.
  • Eldritch Abomination: A being that couldn't even be considered a man by this point, it's more an individual that can't be properly comprehended or understood other than the base desire to feed on the life force of others.
  • Horrifying the Horror: Loosely applied as Nihilus was a Sith that all feared during his era, including others who followed the Dark Side.
  • Humanoid Abomination: He is a living embodiment of death itself, a "man" whose sole purpose is to feed and consume his endless hunger.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: One of the most feared Sith Lords to have ever lived, Darth Nihilus sends shivers down the spine of anyone who knows of his history and reputation.

Darth Galvan

Species: Human

An ancient Sith Lord, known for his use of Sith lightning.

  • Canon Foreigner: He's a character created for the story.
  • Shock and Awe: His mastery of Sith Lightning is so great that he can even turn himself into a lightning form on occasion, although he requires aid to master the ability to return to human form afterwards.
  • You Remind Me of X: Olivia Octavius often compares him to "Max", AKA Electro.

Exar Kun

Species: Human

A former Jedi prodigy who was corrupted into a Sith and waged a terrible war millennia ago.

  • Back from the Dead: A Sith ritual restores him to his body after millennia reduced to a ghost haunting the temple on Yavin IV.
  • Double Weapon: His signature double blue lightsaber, procured by Ovair from the Jedi Temple, and that still contains his essence and serves as an anchor to bring him back to life.

Naga Sadow

Species: Pureblood Sith

An ancient Sith known for his skill in Sith alchemy.

  • Back from the Dead: Another Sith restored to his body after haunting the temple on Yavin Four.

    Galactic Republic
The governing body of most of the galaxy, having stood for thousands of years. Currently at war with the Separatist Alliance.

In General

  • Alien Arts Are Appreciated: Various elements of Earth culture the Avengers have introduced quickly became quite popular with the populace. For example, Dex Jettster is considering opening a second shop specializing in Earth food as the recipes he learned from the Avengers are selling so well.
  • Democracy Is Flawed: Both the Avengers and even Republic senators recognize that the democratic process can be frustrating and confusing, but they consider it better than forcefully ruling over everyone.

Padme Amidala

Species: Human (Naboo)

Former queen and current Senator of Naboo, pushing for a peaceful end to the war. Secretly married to Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker.

  • Age-Gap Romance:
    • She was apparently once in one with Rush Clovis between Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones. Judging by his appearance (particularly the lines on his face), he seems to be several years older than Padmé, who would've been eighteen when they had a relationship.
    • Downplayed with Anakin as there are five years between them — Anakin is 19 while she is 24 when they get married.
  • Identical Stranger: The Avengers are all taken aback by her resemblance to Jane Foster. Padme and Jane meet directly in chapter 104, shocking both as they first come face-to-face.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Padme is horrified when she learns of her contribution to Ultron coming to this galaxy as she helped him gain a new body after he was reduced to just a head, although Ultron makes it clear that he would have managed on his own and she just made it easier, the Avengers supporting this view when she tells them about her encounter with him.
  • Secret-Keeper: She's one of the few senators the Avengers choose to confide in about the control chips.
    • She's also aware that Peter and Ahsoka are in a relationship.
  • Shipper on Deck: When Peter and Ahsoka have their first kiss on Tatooine, Padme reminds Anakin that while it's sweet he cares about Ahsoka as a sister, he can trust that Peter is a good man who won't hurt her.

Species: Twi'Lek

Former leader of the Ryloth resistance and current Senator for his home world.

  • Action Dad: Frontline leader of the Ryloth resistance and father of Hera.
  • Ascended Extra: In the original show, Cham only appeared in two episodes. Here, he is a recurring character as he represents Ryloth in the Senate.
  • Adaptational Job Change: In the show, Cham was the leader of the Twi'Lek resistance and remained just that. Here after the Ryloth campaign he replaces Orn Free Tah as his home world's representee in the Senate.
  • Fire-Forged Friends: With Pietro during their time together on Ryloth.
  • Papa Wolf: Although he likes young Caleb, he can't help but feel a protective spike in his parental instincts when he first meets the youngling.

Hera Syndulla

Species: Twi'Lek

Cham Syndulla's young daughter.

  • Adaptational Relationship Overhaul: Hera and Caleb meet as preteens rather than as adults.
  • Future Badass: In canon, Hera grows up to become an ace pilot, the leader of the Ghost Rebel cell and a figure of authority in the Rebel Alliance as a general.
  • Ship Tease: With Caleb Dume as per canon.

Wilhulf Tarkin

Species: Human

A Republic Navy Captain, serving under Jedi Master Piell.

  • Body Horror: Is captured by Ultron and has at least one arm and part of his chest forcibly replaced by cybernetic implants, although fortunately he so far retains his own mind.
  • Villainous Cheekbones: Even the Avengers note he has some rather sharp cheekbones.

Chewbacca

Species: Wookie

  • Always a Bigger Fish: Proves to be this to the Trandoshans; once Ahsoka and her allies rescue him from captivity, Chewie tears through several of the Trandoshans with his bare hands.
  • Chekhov's Gun: The kimoyo beads T'Challa gave his clan prove vital in helping the Republic find and rescue Ahsoka, Chewbacca, and their other fellow prisoners.
  • Honorary True Companion: As with the rest of his tribe he's considered a citizen of Wakanda by T'Challa after their mutual oaths of loyalty to each other.

Mitth'raw'nuruodo

Species: Chiss

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/infinite_wars_season_4_2_9.jpg
Thrawn

First encountered by Ahsoka as a fellow prisoner on a distant planet. He later joins the 501st.

  • Actor Allusion: An interesting twofold example. While examining data from Ultron's attacks, Thrawn make notices to add the information to his "mind palace". Lars Mikkelsen is also well-known for playing Diabolical Mastermind Charles Augustus Magnussen in BBC's Sherlock, who much like his Arch-Enemy, Sherlock Holmes (played in the series by Doctor Strange's actor Benedict Cumberbatch), also makes use of mind palaces to hide the information he uses to blackmail his victims.
  • Adaptational Heroism: While Thrawn is generally an antagonist to the heroes in canon, here he makes his debut alongside a group of captured Jedi padawans, including Ahsoka. He has since been shown volunteering for the new draft to the Republic Army in a talk with the Avengers and later has joined the 501st.
  • I Choose to Stay: While the Republic makes contact with the Chiss Ascendancy during the final clash with Ultron, Thrawn affirms that he prefers to stay with the Republic as he has a greater opportunity to learn more with them than with his people.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity: Initially pretends not to understand Basic so that he can spend time observing the Padawans and wait until he has a better sense of what can be done to get out of the current situation.
  • Spotting the Thread: Observes that Ultron's main goal in his war has been to attack all parties independently and keep them off-balance, so they may be able to turn the tide by having all parties in this galaxy unite under one banner and attack him in a simultaneous coordinated assault.

Doctor Penn Pershing

Species: Human

A scientist, considered one of the few experts in cloning outside of Kamino.

  • Always Someone Better: He admits that the Kaminoans were better at the science of cloning than he is, but affirms that he's very capable of understanding their work and potentially modifying certain details.

    Ravagers

Species: Xandarian

Former right hand man to Yondu Udonta, now forming his own Ravager faction in the Galaxy Far, Far Away.

  • Honorary True Companion: Not a full member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, but he was present when they decided to enter this galaxy and has since set up a new faction of Ravagers while maintaining strong ties to the Guardians.
  • The Leader: Of his own Ravager faction.

Sugi

Species: Zabrak (Iridonian)

A bounty hunter more honourable then most who joins Kraglin's new Ravagers.

  • I Gave My Word: Sugi makes it clear to Hondo that neither she nor her comrades break their deals when he tries to buy them off.
  • Shipper on Deck: Sugi encourages Mantis to further her relationship with Fenn (partially for her own amusement).

Embo

Species: Kyuzo

General Grievous a.k.a. Qymaen jai Sheelal

Species: Kaleesh (Cyborg)

The Supreme Commander of the Separatist Droid Army. Following the Huk invasion of Kalee, he has sworn his life to destroying the Jedi and the republic.

  • Badass Abnormal: Not a Force user like the Jedi he fights against, but with his mechanical prowess, he's more than a match against enhanced individuals, to the point of his reflexes being augmented enough to keep up with Quicksilvers Super-Speed.
  • Blood Knight: As a Kaleesh, he grew up on an jungle world where developing into a great warrior could make you become a member of the local pantheon in the eyes of his species. The cyborg also enjoys the prospect of facing the Avengers in battle as he learns more about their abilities, such as observing that it will be an interesting challenge to face Steve Rogers after learning how his shield can deflect lightsaber blows. Even when faced with the threat of Ultron, Grievous's desire to kill Jedi for revenge of his people's suffering is so great that he is open to joining the True Sith faction so he can continue to vent his rage rather than recognise the need for a ceasefire.
  • Composite Character: Shares his Legends incarnation's more horrific backstory. Said background was integrated into Canon, but many of the tragic aspects are still ambigious. Here, they're his main driving force to split off from the Separatists after trying a ceasefire with the Republic, as he had tried something similar in the past only to be dismissed several times.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: His homeworld Kalee had come under fire by the insectoid Huk species on a regular basis, leading to the deaths and the enslavement of countless other Kaleesh. Grievous, then named Qymaen jai Sheelal, repelled their invasions, uniting his people under one banner and then set upon the homeworld of the Huk to wipe them out for good, which was thwarted by the Jedi believing the Kaleesh to be the sole aggressors of the conflict, leading to Kalee becoming blockaded and cut off from the rest of the galaxy. Further attempts to help freeing his home would lead to Grievous being reforged into the feared cyborg general of the present, having lost most of what he once held dear in the process.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Invoked when the clones compare Ultron to Grievous, noting that at least Grievous isn't interested in outright genocide. He tried to annihilate the Huk in the past, although he didn't do such a thing just to get a kick out of it.
  • Gone Horribly Right: The Separatists wanted Grievous to be a remorseless Jedi-killing machine who would stop at nothing to destroy them and the Republic, but when Dooku and the CIS are forced to call for a ceasefire, Grievous is so irate he goes rogue and joins the True Sith faction.
  • Multi-Armed and Dangerous: He can split both his arms into two allowing him to wield four lightsabers at once.
  • Renegade Splinter Faction: He and a number of Separatists agents create an insurrectionist faction within the CIS that doesn't accept the cease-fire with the Republic.
  • Villain: Exit, Stage Left: A common strategy. Grievous is a general, and he won't go out fighting if there's a chance he might lose.
  • Worthy Opponent: Respects the Avengers combat capabilities despite his hatred.

Durge

Species: Gen'Dai

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/war_machine_vs_durge_round_2_by_freemanwriter_dfwx0ac_fullview.jpg
Durge has a long standing enemy in War Machine

A bounty hunter employed by the Sepratist army.

  • Arch-Enemy: He and War Machine have been at each others throats since Chapter 13.
  • Bizarre Alien Biology: Durge survives being impaled with a lightsaber as he has no real skeleton or nervous system to be damaged by such an attack, as well as taking attacks from three Jedi and War Machine at the same time; even being blown to pieces by one of War Machine’s Tank Missiles or blown apart by a sonic weapon just stopped him for the moment rather than killing him for good.
  • Blood Knight: Durge greatly enjoys any chance to fight, appreciating the Avengers as new and interesting adversaries.
  • Body Horror: Durge's physical appearance is a twisted nightmare that disturbs all who see him in action.
  • Healing Factor: An ability of his species, allowing him to take ridiculous amounts of damage.
  • Weaksauce Weakness: A relatively minor example; while Durge can take most of War Machine's arsenal without doing more than flinching, he has a bad reaction to fire.
    • Also, sonics are a nasty bit of work on him.

Doctor Nuvo Vindi

Species: Faust

A crazed scientist employed by the Separatists for a biological warfare project on Naboo.

  • Morally Ambiguous Doctorate: He recreated the deadly Blue Shadow virus just because he could.
  • Omnicidal Maniac: Downplayed as he actually created an antidote for the Blue Shadow virus, as Rumlow notes he'd want to be sure he didn't infect himself.

  • Friendly Enemy: While officially on opposite sides of the current war, she has no problem talking with Padme and expresses interest in the tales of the Avengers, expressing surprise when she learns that an Avenger is present for her meeting with Padme.
  • Locked Out of the Loop: She got shocked that not only were the alleged war crimes committed by the Separatist military true rather then Republic propaganda but also that Count Dooku was fully aware of them.
  • The Mentor: She helped Padme when the younger woman was learning the ropes of the Senate after her initial election.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: She had no problem accepting Peter Parker's aid against Ultron when he provided additional digital security to protect the Separatists against Ultron's access.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: Thanks to Ultron's intervention the circumstances that lead to the Sith ordering her assassination never occurred.
  • Token Good Teammate: As in canon, she and her son serve as this to the Separatists.

Lux Bonteri

Species: Human (Onderon)

Senator Bonteri's son.

  • Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: In canon, he had a mutual infatuation with Ahsoka. However, in this continuity, Ahsoka is in a relationship with Peter Parker and Barris Offee before their second meeting where she began to return the attraction in canon.
  • La Résistance: He joins the resistance against the occupying forces of Onderon.
  • Ship Tease: Lux Bonteri implies to Steela Gerrera that he has feelings for her while trying convince her to rest during the Onderonian Civil War.
  • Token Good Teammate: As in canon, he and his mother are this to the Separatists.

  • Heartbroken Badass: She's a stony leader with her own will to lead and tame the people of Mandalore, but she's also weighed down by trauma and the difficulties of being a pacifist in a warrior culture.
  • Not So Stoic: When reunited with Bo-Katan after the war against Ultron, Satine enjoys the opportunity to tease her sister about Bo's developing relationship with Matt Murdock/Daredevil.
  • Technical Pacifist: Desires a peace without violence above all. However, just because she's a pacifist doesn't mean she's clueless on how to defend herself.

Spar

Species: Human (clone)

A Clone of Jango Fett possessing his template's memories. Deserted the Republic Army and founded a third faction of Mandalorians, The Protectors.

  • Clones Are People, Too: Due to being a "perfect" clone with all Jango's memories, he nonetheless is able to carry his own identity to bring strength and honor to the Mandalorians.
  • Take a Third Option: Represents a more reformist view on what's to be done with the Mandalorian culture. The medium between Death Watch's reactionary and the New Mandalorians's revolutionary policies.

Fenn Shysa

Species: Human

One of the members of the Protector faction and effectively Spar's second in command. Becomes the father of a foundling boy.

  • Action Dad: Becomes this after taking in the orphaned Din Djarin.
  • Ascended Extra: In canon, he's only seen in Din Djarin's flashbacks. Here, he's one of the most prominent Mandalorian characters as Spar's right-hand man.
  • Interspecies Romance: Starts one with Mantis, a half-Celestial hybrid.
  • Number Two: Often deferred to by Spar when regarding courses of actions for the Protectors.
  • Parental Substitute: Per the traditions of Mandalorian customs, him saving Din Djarin makes Fenn his adoptive father.
  • Secret-Keeper: Fenn Shysa is the only other person (aside from Drax) aware that Mantis is Peter Quill’s half-sister.

Boba Fett

Species: Human (clone)

Son of legendary bounty hunter Jango Fett. Boba is an unaltered clone his father requested as payment from the Kaminoans. Joins the Protectors to honour his father's memory.

  • Adaptational Heroism: In Clone Wars, Boba wanted revenge on Mace Windu for killing his father a quest that led to many people getting hurt or killed in the crossfire. Here, Spar reaches out to him and convinces him to join the Protectors meaning that series of events never took place. This may have far reaching effects as in canon these events are what ultimately led him to becoming the bounty hunter we see in the original trilogy.
  • Clones Are People, Too: While he is a clone of Jango, he was genuinely raised as the bounty hunter's son and gets angry when his relation to the Clone Troopers is brought up.
  • Insistent Terminology: His name is Boba, not Alpha.

Bo-Katan Kryze

Species: Human

Duchess Satine’s sister. Disagreement over the path their people needed to take led her to join the extremist group, Death Watch as Visla's right hand woman. Encounters with both The Protectors and The Avengers made her see how wrong the groups actions were causing her and those loyal to her to break away.

  • Adaptational Heroism: While she eventually fell into heroism after the rise of the Empire, here her worldviews are repeatedly challenged and questioned by encounters with The Avengers and others. As such, she becomes the first breakaway faction from Death Watch, resolving to create a new world alongside her sister and Spar.
  • Fiery Redhead: redhead, with temper as extra.
  • Token Good Teammate:She develops into one for Death Watch after her interactions with The Protectors and Avengers cause her to rethink her decisions. She later disobeys Vizla and goes to a summit for the leadership of all three Mandalorian factions with group loyal to her and agrees to join forces with Satine and Spar for their people's future.
  • Ship Tease: With Matt Murdock.
  • Tsundere: She is easily irritated by Matt Murdock, threatens to kill him more than once while they're destroying Ultron drones... and kisses him at the end of Chapter 68, much to their mutual surprise.

Wes Journ

Species: Human

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/infinite_wars_wes_journ_v2.png
Wes Journ

  • Blade Enthusiast: Wes Journ explicitly states that he will only use blades, even when Peter Quill points out that Gamora and Drax have a preference for blades and still use guns when required.
  • Canon Foreigner: An original mandalorian created for this story, with no counterpart in either Marvel or Star Wars.
  • Hero of Another Story: In Tales of Infinite Wars, Wes Journ underwent his own journey of his crusade against the Black Suns and is responsible for crippling half their forces, marking him a wanted man from the criminal organization.

Dax Ordo

Species: Human

A Mandalorian Protector who works closely with Tobbi Dala and Fenn Shysa under Spar.
  • Canon Foreigner: He's a character created for the story.
  • Famous Ancestor: He's a direct descendant of Canderous Ordo, Mandalore the Preserver, and he greatly admires his deeds.
  • Those Two Guys: He's more often than not with Tobbi and to a lesser degree, Fenn.

    Crimson Dawn
An organization formed in the Galaxy Far, Far away by Maul in service of his new master, Thanos, to bring about his twisted form of balance.

Maul

Species: Zabrak (Dathomiran)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/darth_maul_8.jpg
Darth Maul

Former Apprentice to Darth Sidious. He returns to the Galaxy Far, Far Away with a new purpose in service of a new master.

  • Adaptational Badass: Thanks to his time with Thanos and the Black Order, Maul has learned to access the Power Cosmic, making him far more powerful then he ever was in canon. In addition, he lacks his canon counterpart's obsession with Obi-Wan and Sidious (and, in fact, is outright dismissive of the latter), instead adopting a subtler method of building power.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Maul is considerably nicer and more encouraging to Savage and even shows signs of being a Benevolent Boss to Blackout.
  • Ambadassador: Maul resorts to diplomacy and sweet-talking in his search for allies for the Crimson Dawn's plans, but he is willing to use violence when the situation warrants it (Senator Deechi's guards can attest it).
  • The Bad Guy Wins: The Onderon arc ends with Maul successfully reviving Freedon Nadd, which gives him a lead on the location of the Soul Stone, and he does so without revealing his or Savage's presence to the Jedi and Avengers.
  • Berserk Button: Despite being always calm and non-chalant, there is one thing that can send Maul into a murderous rage: The Avengers. The simple thought of Earth's Mightiest Heroes is enough break his calm façade and make him snarl in anger, referring to them as "unruly wrenches", no doubt a hate instilled in him by Thanos.
  • Big Brother Mentor: To Savage Opress.
  • Cult Defector: Zig-zagged. He’s shown to have turned his back on the Sith teachings of the Dark Side, and its quest for power and galactic conquest. However, he has instead chosen to serve another master who has designs upon the entire universe (heavily implied to be Thanos), essentially trading one cult for another.
  • The Dreaded: Even when Obi-Wan Kenobi believes he's been dead for over a decade, just the thought of Maul still makes him uncomfortable.
  • Rogues' Gallery Transplant: As part of his new Undying Loyalty to Thanos, Maul isn't as fixated on revenge on Obi-Wan as he was in canon, instead nurturing a grudge towards the Avengers on behalf of his new master.
  • Sensor Character: By this point he has trained himself in the more subtle arts of the Force, to the extent that he is aware of the presence of Jedi and Avengers when he and his 'targets' are all on the same planet, even if he cannot identify the exact location of these enemies.
  • Undying Loyalty: He clearly seems to have this to Thanos, who saved him and gave him a new purpose. Maul is shown to be completely devoted to Thanos's philosophy of balance.

Savage Opress

Species: Zabrak (Dathomirian)

Former Acolyte to Dooku, brother of Maul.

  • Bio-Armor: The enhanced Orbalisk granted to him by Maul multiplies on his body, covering Savage in a pain-inducing organic armor which cannot be penetrated by lightsabers. They also begin to amplify his physical and force-sensitive might, to the point that they can only be pried off again when the host of the Orbalisks has grown powerful enough to do so themselves.
  • Body Horror: Gets an parasitic, modified Orbalisk grafted onto his body. The process is described as an unending state of pain infecting every single molecular component of his body, with the multiplying parasites digging into his flesh to the point that blood streams readily out of his mouth.
  • Undying Loyalty: To his brother, Maul. The mere fact that his brother has faith in him, “a newcomer in the Force”, to help conduct a very dangerous ritual is enough to affirm that Savage will do anything to help his brother.
  • Unskilled, but Strong: Dooku observes that this sums up Savage Oppress as a combatant. He has a great deal of raw power but his training is limited. Under Maul's tutelage, however, he is growing more and more skilled,, to the point that this trope gets diminished.

Jorus C'baoth

Species: Human

A former Jedi Counselor thought to have died alongside many other Jedi on an expedition into the Unknown Regions.

  • Expy Coexistence: He is the main inspiration for the character of Baylan Skoll, who also serves Maul.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: The project and starship Outbound Flight was rescued by Thanos' Forces before it could meet its demise at the hands of the Chiss, thus leaving Jorus and his Comrades alive, but in the service of Maul, and thus by proxy the Mad Titan.

Baylan Skoll & Shin Hati

Species: Human (Both)

A Dark Jedi & his Apprentice. Implied to have been part of the Outbound Flight before their allegiance to Maul.

  • Adaptational Job Change: Heavely Suggested. Skoll seems to have been a member of C'Baoth's expedition corps, thus never becoming a Jedi General in the Clone Wars as in Canon.
  • Age Lift: Shin Hati originally wasn't born until after the Clone Wars ended. Here, she's already a young adult and serving as Skoll's Apprentice.
  • Combat Pragmatist: When she spars with Savage Oppress, Shin makes good use of her light frame in order to move faster and quicker around the room, barraging her larger and stronger opponent from the sides with staggering lightsaber blows in order to throw him off balance.

Senator Deechi

Species: Umbaran

The Senator of Umbara, a dark shadowed planet with ruthless schemers. Feels betrayed by both the Republic and Confederacy, thus joining Crimson Dawn.

  • Corrupt Politician: Has clawed his way through to becoming a major representative, and is making a deal with Maul.
  • Defector from Decadence: Has defected from both the Republic and the Confederacy, believing that they both betrayed Umbara.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: He's not murdered by Lolo Purs, but his planet still leaves the Republic for the CIS.

Queen Miraj Scintel

Species: Zygerrian

The current Queen of Zygerria, a former galactic-wide slave power with aspirations to rebuild their influence within the slave trade.

  • At Least I Admit It: Looks down on the Republic for deriding her people as slavers, pointing at the hypocrisy of a slave clone army.
  • God Save Us from the Queen!: Miraj is an incredible ruthless monarch, looking to restore the Zygerrian slave empire through a deal with Maul.

Pre Vizsla

Species: Human (Mandalorian)

The Leader of the Death Watch remnants, a Mandalorian fundamentalist terrorist group.

  • Ancestral Weapon: Wields the Darksaber, a lightsaber passed down the Head of House Vizla and forged by Tarre Vizla, the first Mandalorian Jedi and Mandalore.
  • Might Makes Right: Subscribes to the notion that only the strongest shall rule.
  • Renegade Splinter Faction: Leads a group of violent reactionaries within the martial Mandalorian culture

Prince Xizor

Species: Falleen

The Head of the Black Sun Crime Syndicate, Prince of the reptilian Falleen people and an obscenely wealthy shipping magnate.

  • Affably Evil: While ruthless and brutal, is willing to, at least, listen Maul's proposal while Pre Viszla wants to reject him almost immediately.
  • The Coup: How he ultimately became head of the Black Sun Clan.
  • Green Skinned Space Guy: A tall, dark and handsome alien reptile.

Orson Callan Krennic

Species: Human

A cowardly, yet almost suicidally ambitious politician and weapon manufacturer that was unexpectedly cut off by Palpatine.

  • Always a Bigger Fish: Suddenly realizes that Ultron will not spare anyone
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: The rest of the group weren't even friends with Krennic to begin with, only keeping him around for his money and connections.

King Sanjay Rash

Species: Human (Onderonian)

The pretender king who usurped King Dendup of Onderon, he turned to forces outside established factions within his home Galaxy.

  • Big Bad Wannabe: An out of touch king, he serves as nothing more than a pawn for Maul, and is discarded the minute they locate the tomb of Freedon Nadd.
  • Dies Differently In The Adaptation: Instead of being killed by General Kalani, Maul and Savage kill him to gain access to the tomb of Freedon Nadd.
  • Neck Snap: Savage snaps his neck from behind when Maul has no more use for him.
  • You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Maul and Savage kill him once they finally have access to the tomb of Freedon Nadd.

    "Independent" Villains
Villains who are not directly affiliated with the Sith or the Separatists, although many are willing to work with these for the right price. Others are driven by different ambitions which may or may not run in contrast to well established factions.

Trench

Species: Harch (Cyborg)

An admiral and naval commander of great renown. Originally affiliated with the Separatist Alliance, Trench was presumed dead during the Battle of Chrisophsis but in reality, he survived and was taken to a droid factory that later fell to Ultron who reprogrammed him for his own cause.

  • Famed In-Story: Had an infamous reputation as a space naval tactician long before the Clone Wars broke out.

Trandoshan Hunters

Species: Trandoshan (Cyborg)

A group of bloodthirsty reptiles who enjoy hunting sentients for sport. In return for their allegiance, Ultron saw fit to provide them implants.

  • Cybernetics Eat Your Soul: Subverted, given that they were already bloodthirsty sadists.
  • Huntingthe Most Dangerous Game: To the point where their entire culture and society is centered around kidnapping sentient species and hunting them for sport.
  • Not Brainwashed: In stark contrast to other individuals Ultron enhances, these reptiles willingly let themselves be implanted, their sadism inherent in their nature.

Taskmaster

Species: Enhanced Human

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/taskmaster_0.jpg
Taskmaster

A human mercenary enhanced by the force, with the ability to copy the fighting abilities of his opponents

  • Adaptational Nationality: A sci-fi version of this trope. Taskmaster is traditionally a native of Earth, but here he is a native of the Galaxy Far, Far Away.
  • Blood Knight: Enjoys fighting and learning new martial abilities, showing nothing but glee when faced with Black Panther
  • Photographic Memory: How his Force power operates, able to learn the skills of anyone he fights within minutes.

Cad Bane

Species: Duros

One of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy far far away, and will do any job for the right price

  • Evil Counterpart: Is this to Starlord. Both are badass bounty hunters, both mainly use gadgets and tricks to one up their opponents, with them both even fighting each other. However, Cad Bane prefers to work alone, and will do anything for for the right price, even stooping to kidnapping children. Peter, by contrast, has learned to value family, which in turn keeps him grounded.

Queen Zalem

Species: Zabrak (Dathomirian)

  • Abusive Parents: She did nothing but abuse her daughter Ros Lai for most of her life due to considering her worthless.
  • Power Parasite: Gains power by absorbing it from others, nearly managing to take Wanda's powers.

Gethzerion

Species:Zabrak (Dathomirian)

The original founder of the nightsister clans of Dathomir, her cruelty united the other clans to trap her spirit. After her escape, she has aligned herself with the Sith Death Cult.

  • Abusive Precursors: As the founder of the nightsister clans, she was cruel towards her subjects, to the point that she would be locked away for millenia.
  • Eviler than Thou: She's considered worse than Zalem and even Mother Talzin is very concerned when she hears she's active again.
  • The Smurfette Principle: She's the only known female that's part of the True Sith Cult.

The Son

Species: Celestial

  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Regardless of his anger towards The Father, The Son explicitly states that he still cares for his mother and sister and would not countenance them being hurt. He also is driven by his desire for revenge against Arishem for killing The Father, despite their personal disagreements.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Despite the potential benefits of accessing the World Between Worlds, The Son makes it clear that he will not risk unleashing... something... that dwells within, even if it would make the plans of his Sith allies easier.
  • God of Evil: The living embodiment of the Dark Side of the Force, specifically the selfishness and desire for power.
  • Horrifying the Horror:
    • Even the living embodiment of the dark side can only express fear following his vision of Thanos's snap.
    • When Arishem comes to Mortis The Son reacts by freezing up and quaking in fear.
  • Our Gargoyles Rock: Just like canon he can change his form into a gargoyle like creature.
  • The Resenter: Very upset with his father turning his back on his mother, and then getting them all stuck on Mortis. However, after Arishem kills the Father, he realizes he still loved him.
  • Satanic Archetype: The Son is the living embodiment of the Dark Side of the Force, and shares so many similarities with Lucifer, it isn't far fatched to believe he is Satan himself. Originally member of a race of beings of Light and goodness, the Celestials, after his Mother was imprisoned, he, his Father and sister were exiled to the world of Mortis, where the Son grew bitter and resentful of his family, secretly planning to overthrow and kill his father. Said opportunity presents itself when Messianic Archetype Anakin Skywalker shows up at Mortis. He tries to corrupt Anakin to the Dark Side by taking the form of his dead mother and tormenting him for his failure to save her, not much different from how Satan tempted Jesus in the desert, and when it fails he temporarily corrupts Ahsoka to do his bidding. To fit his demonic aesthethic, the Son's One-Winged Angel form is a gargoyle bat, and in Christian terms, bats are viewed as "the birds of the devil", an incarnation of the Prince of Darkness, as well as omens of death and misfortune. After escaping Mortis, the Son takes residence in Mustafar, a Death World that resembles Hell in every conceivable way, and he starts to work alongside members of the True Sith faction to ressurect long dead Sith Lords to bring chaos and destruction across the Galaxy.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: Escapes imprisonment to wreak havoc on the galaxy for his own dark desires.
  • This Cannot Be!: His reaction to realizing that the future of Darth Vader was replaced by a future of Thanos.
