openRenaming HM The Queen?
Okay, so Queen Elizabeth II's useful notes page is currently titled HM The Queen.
The title seems kind of vague, and it doesn't match up with the format we use for most other monarchs. Support or object for renaming the page just Elizabeth II?
openRecent additions to WhatAnIdiot.StarWars Film
There were some lengthy additions to WhatAnIdiot.Star Wars recently. Long story short, they were nitpicking on insignificant details. I trimmed some of them down and removed a the rest as misuses of WaI, only for another troper to restore them.
Could someone else get a look at the page? I'll admit, I am getting annoyed at all the "fans" bringing their negativity to the Star Wars pages, so I'm rather quick to reach for the axe. It'd be nice to have another opinion.

open Disturbing TV show Film
There was a disturbing TV show that I once watched when I was a child but I cannot remember its name. The only thing I can remember from the show is at the end of one of the episodes, a uv light was shone in a bedroom and bloody hand prints (in green) could be seen all over the bedroom walls. I know earlier in the episode this bedroom had been shown in the daytime and no evidence of anything sinister could be seen. This scene has stuck with me for over 20 years and I would really like to find out which TV show is responsible for this vivid and disturbing memory.
openTroper with grammar issues
InsanePryomanic's edits demonstrate questionable grammar, as seen in pages like Characters.YuGiOh VRAINS.
Sent a notifier, but for the time being, can I please get a revert on the edit for that page? (EDIT: made the changes myself already)
Edited by Tenma-YuukiopenGrammar
So I just cleaned up Dangan Ronpa: Seekers of a New World, which had a lot of grammar issues. I did some digging and found that the culprit was one The Immortal Angel Newton, who is still making wiki edits with grammar mistakes four years later. I sent a notifier, but with how long this has been going on, I think stronger action is necessary.
Specifically, I've noticed run-on sentences, tense confusion, and they're/there/their confusion, among other issues, and I only looked at a few recent edits (and the page, of course, which had a lot of similar errors).
Edit: Here are some examples:
- This most recent edit uses the wrong tense ("possess" instead of "possessed"), has multiple examples where commas are missing where they should be added, and...well, some ZCEs, for good measure.
- this edit is a big ol' run-on sentence, and some words seem to be missing, oddly.
- Comma missing, and a trope not being wicked.
- More run-on sentences.
- Nattery run-on sentence...
openStarbound YMMV Page Locked? Videogame
I can't help but bring this up as the page is locked and the Administrivia.Locked Pages index dosen't list the reason why.
Edited by nombretomadoopen Excessive (?) gushing Film
Awesome.Avengers Endgame features several paragraphs of gushing over the movie breaking every box office record and becoming the highest grossing movie ever. To wit:
- The film's box office performance has been nothing short of astounding:
- Most box office prognosticators were cautiously optimistic that it could break $300 million opening weekend in the US, which would handily break Infinity War's record of $257 million, in and of itself a staggeringly high amount of money. It completely obliterated everyone's expectations by making $357 million, $100 million more than its predecessor. Barring some ridiculous future inflation, it's hard to imagine a future movie breaking the box office record by a 9-figure sum.
- Endgame became the first movie ever to gross one billion (with a "B") dollars in its opening week! $1.2B to be exact, which is almost double what Infinity War did on its opening. This also makes it the second entertainment product to do so, outside of Grand Theft Auto V.note And of course, being a AAA video game which costs $60 rather than just the cost of a movie ticket, GTA V has a massive unfair advantage there. To put simply, it became the highest grossing movie of 2019 and the 18th-highest grossing movie of all time in four days, and it's even more impressive when one takes the film's heavy Continuity Lock-Out into account.
- As of its opening Sunday (28 April 2019), Endgame broke 144 records.
- It became the highest grossing import movie in China ever in just a week. It hit $500 million there the Thursday after release, blowing past the original record holder The Fate of the Furious's $392 million total haul.
- After just 12 days into its worldwide release, Endgame not only surpassed $2 billion (becoming the second comic book movie to do so), but also blew past Avengers: Infinity War, The Force Awakens, and James Cameron's Titanic to become the second-highest grossing movie of all time. In turn, this makes the MCU the first franchise to have two $2 billion grossing movies under their belt, unadjusted for inflation.note If you do adjust for inflation, then it's second only to Star Wars, but it's still impressive either way.
- Crossing over with Heartwarming, Cameron himself, a man infamous to MCU fans for his comments about "superhero fatigue", congratulated Marvel Studios for surpassing Titanic:
@JimCameron: An Iceberg sank the real Titanic. It took the Avengers to sink my Titanic. Everyone here at Lightstorm Entertainment salutes your amazing achievement. You've shown that the movie industry is not only alive and well, it's bigger than ever!
- Crossing over with Heartwarming, Cameron himself, a man infamous to MCU fans for his comments about "superhero fatigue", congratulated Marvel Studios for surpassing Titanic:
- In 20 days, it grossed 2.5 billion. The only other film that achieved this was Avatar, and it took 72 days to get to that point.
- Then 89 days after release (July 20th, 2019), Endgame went above and beyond any other record it's broken prior to this point, and officially surpassed Avatar as the highest-grossing movie of all time.note worldwide, not adjusted for inflation, and the first sequel to do so. The last few weeks prior to this achievement were nail-biting, because even with the re-release in theaters it was clear that it'd be a photo finish either way... and yet it happened regardless. In fact, it happened with such perfect timing that Kevin Feige himself got to announce it during the Marvel panel at San Diego Comic Con. You'd swear it was pre-ordained from the heavens to work out this way.
- Once again, Cameron congratulates Marvel Studios for passing Avatar:
@JimCameron: Oel Ngati Kameie, I see you Marvel. Congratulations to Avengers Endgame becoming the new box office king!
- Once again, Cameron congratulates Marvel Studios for passing Avatar:
Do we really need all that info?
openIndexing Web Original
So i've created a couple new pages and have been trying to add them to their specific indexes, but I can't find the index that they belong too. Like I've been trying to add the Web Video/fan works page to the fanfiction index, but I can't find the fanfiction index itself because everytime I go to the its index, it is just the overview page of what fanfiction is. I feel like i'm doing something wrong. Please help
openDoes This Manga Actually Exist?
I just found the page Mirabili Felis (it has a description and nothing else). Out of curiosity, I looked up the manga title, and I can't find anything talking about it except for the page here.
(Please tell me if this is the wrong place to bring this up.)
openWhere to crosswick?
Crosswicking Magical Sensory Effect, and there's an example I'm stuck on:
- The Buffy the Vampire Slayer novel, Blood and Fog reveals that a magic user can eventually gain a scent that accompanies their spells over time. The novels Big Bad Jack the Ripper for example smells like strawberries and cream.
Being for a novel that doesn't have a page, where do I add this example? I can't add it to the actual series page if it's a non-canon book, right?

Edited by MaladyopenTwo Creators, Same Name
I'd love to make a creator page for Jim Cummings, director of Film.Thunder Road, but, of course, there's already a better known creator in the namespace. Solution?
openWhy was my YMMV page for Winona Ryder deleted?
I just noticed it's gone and don't know why. I put Never Live It Down as a trope and mentioned the shoplifting incident. Is there some rule against that?
openWhy are "too common" real life example not allowed?
I'm guessing just because the pages would be way too long then?

openEdit War on Far From Home page
The following example from has been edited, added and deleted numerous times:
- Protagonist-Centered Morality: When HYDRA deploys a flying superweapon with the ability to invade individual privacy on a global scale and execute anyone on Earth at any time with no appeal or oversight in Captain America The Winter Soldier, they must be stopped because they are fascist monsters. When Tony Stark does the exact same thing, he posthumously proclaims himself a hero for it, and no-one contradicts him.
It was even discussed on the forums. Since it got deleted again, I took the liberty to create a discussion on the movie subpage and PMed all tropers involved. If anyone else is willing to join in, please reply there:

Edited by AsherinkaopenAbout Darth Wiki pages
While moving wicks from Fragile Flower, I came across a few pages for unpublished words with a lot of ZCE's. Namely Aurora Borealis And Company, Sins Vs Virtues, White Flowers of Summer, and Without Color.
Since they're unpublished, there's no way anyone but the page maker can fix them, right? So, should the makers be PM'd about it?
