Since you like Wipeout, would Takeshi's Castle be up your alley too?

That's a hard question. I like shooters from all over the Fackler Scale of FPS Realism, but they all appeal to me in different ways. Let me break down several elements that I enjoy from them:

• Sense of progression: Beyond just getting bigger guns, that is. I tend to enjoy games with RPG-like system more because I like seeing numbers go up the feeling of becoming stronger is more tangible. E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy doesn't have just RPG stats, it also got a cybernetic upgrade system, plenty of magic spells to learn, and a full-on tech tree. There's so much stuff that's impossible to get them all in one playthrough, giving an additional incentive to replay the game.

• Functionally and Aesthetically diverse weapons: Borderlands is the king of this. By the third game, every gun manufacturer has their own design style and mechanical gimmick, complete with a set of unique parts. A Vladof assault rifle can be nothing more than a space Kalashnikov with underbarrel rocket launcher, while a Jakobs gun of the same class might take the form of a handmade lever-action carbine. Modern military shooters usually struggle with variety. Weapons from the same class tend to vary only in handling, fire rate, and range, but otherwise function exactly the same.

• Excellent gunplay: This should go without saying, but I enjoyed many shooters in spite of the gunplay, not because of it. Gunplay doesn't just mean the presentation and handling of the weapons. It's also about how those guns interact with the game world (enemies especially). Killing Floor 2 comes to mind. Even the basic 9 mm feels like an outright hand cannon in other games (helped by the fact that it decapitates basic enemies with a few shots), while the actual hand cannons are like tools of mass destruction blessed by Gun Jesus himself.

• Immersion: This is why I keep coming back to the janky, bug-filled wasteland of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.. Everything from the soundscape, weather system, and painstakingly accurate environments makes the Zone feel very much alive, with me, the player, as but one part of its whole. Of course, the game breaks often enough that many situations ends up more silly than atmospheric, but when everything goes well, it's hard to top the Zone's sense of dreariness.

• Semi-sandbox level design: This is approaching Immersive Sim territory, but I do think more shooters should offer more than one solution to every encounter. At the very least, let me pick between stealth/guns blazing approach like Far Cry does. Even those two approaches can be very nuancee: do I want to go sneaky-beaky like without firing a single shot? Lure enemies into traps? Maybe pick off sentries with sniper fire? What would be my fallback plan? Should I pick a lighter weapon to stay mobile? What if I hijack that parked tank over there? And so on.

• Story, lore, and characterization: An optional thing, really, but it's always great to see them well-executed in a shooter. id Software manages to make Doom Slayer such a memorable character with zero lines of dialogue. Same with BJ Blazkowicz, whose internal and external struggles make him very sympathetic despite acting like a psychotic Nazi-murdering machine in gameplay proper.

My ideal FPS would combine all of the above elements, obviously, but even then it's still hard for me to visualize what it would be like. A pseudo-realistic FPS where you have superpowers? Deus Ex with more guns? Hell, I'd go with a Girls' Frontline shooter even if it doesn't tick all the boxes.

Hard to pick only one, but they are: Pokémon, Godzilla, the Xbox, and its multitude of games (Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee, Blinx: The Time Sweeper, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Spongebob Squarepants Battle For Bikini Bottom, and MechAssault).

Hmm.... imagine if Home on the Range suddenly got a world to itself. And then there are things like Song of the South, which simply will not happen, and will put up a large red alarm in everyone's minds due to its history and absurdity. As for shows, I think a Milo Murphy's Law would be an odd choice for me; I think Phineas and Ferb is the more plausible option to be adapted.

Is there a Disney movie/show that you would find really strange if it got a full-fledged world in Kingdom Hearts?

I'm genuinely enjoying it! It doesn't feel like the game suffers much from the issues that I've heard plague Sticker Star (and were still felt in Color Splash to an extent). The puzzles in the fights are a lot more challenging than I thought they would be, the boss fights are pretty fun, and the game is overall really funny.

Tiny Tiger and the Komodo Bros could be cool to play as in a non-Crash Team Racing Crash game.

My answer: I don't watch a lot of Let's Plays, so not really.

Bacon and waffles are my favorite breakfast, but I don't usually feel like actually making them because I tend to wake up too flipping tired, so my usual breakfast is something with peanut butter.

Most interesting to eat in the morning?

I can think of two.

First, Courage the Cowardly Dog. Just about every episode shows how horrifying his life is.

Second, Mocha who's one of Cinnamoroll's buddies. In the Fluffy Fluffy Cinnamoroll comics though she might be a crybaby but she goes through a lot of mental abuse that could justify her teary moments especially in volume 4, arguably a kid friendly version of Meg Griffin.

From Sonic In X Minutes' miniseries on Forces. It's from the beginning of the final episode, where Infinite has a bad dream showing his backstory.

Are there any other human characters who you think would be interesting to see as animals?

It's kinda funny. I used to think that they should have made him more evil, by having him be the one who takes over the world rather than Eggman, and have Eggman team up with Sonic.

But after seeing how sympathetic Roger van der Weide made him in Sonic In X Minutes, I honestly believe this is the best interpretation of him. The series is obviously very comedic, but if they made his backstory more serious while still keeping the basic ideas Roger had, they could make Infinite connect with a lot more people. The problem with Infinite in the game is that his backstory feels too Wangsty, and that makes his actions seem like Disproportionate Retribution. If the game made it so that he was bullied all his life, and then had one person show him kindness like Cream does in Roger's version, that would be much more believable, and it would reinforce the game's themes of teamwork and friendship.

I also love how Roger's version of Infinite makes really clever use of his powers. On the Sonic in X Minutes page, see the entry I added for Adaptational Personality Change. (Sorry it's so long. :P)
