Doesn't hurt to ask 5P about whether or not it can have a page.

Do the following examples from Chaos Walking look like they have enough context?:
- Deceased Parents Are the Best: Todd wasn't particularly fond of Cillian when he was still alive, but after he dies he misses him like hell.
- Do You Think I Can't Feel: Viola in The Knife of Never Letting Go gets a moment like this. It's the precursor to some really great character development between her and Todd and helps highlight just how deep their bond of trust grows to be.
- Funetik Aksent: The books are told in the first person point of view. Chapters with Todd's viewpoint reflect his drawl (and possibly his illiteracy).
- Hope Is Scary: The characters can't help but be wary of hope.
"Hope may be the thing that pulls you forward, may be the thing that keeps you going, but that it's dangerous, that it's painful and risky, that it's making a dare in the world and when has the world ever let us win a dare?"
No for the second, and the first looks like misuse.
ZCE aren't the only problem on Nagasarete Airantou. Didn't bother to fix most of the indentation and YMMV things.

My Balls has been through 5P already a couple of times, for the record.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAll three examples on Beatles Cartoon are ZCEs. Should I just cutlist it?
TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallDefinitely.
back lolThanks, cutlisted it.
TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallThis entry on YMMV.Ratchet And Clank 2016 is a ZCE and a general example. You could literally copy and paste this entry to other YMMV pages for other works and people wouldn't recognize it was originally from this page.
- Annoying Video Game Helper: Everyone. It's rare you'll get a moment of peace when doing something more than walking.

Thomas fans needed! Come join me in the the show's cleanup thread! With pages like that, it's usually better to ask for help here.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIf that's more for general cleanup that may be a good idea. Thanks.

Do the following examples from Jupiter's Circle look like they have enough context?:
- Heel–Face Turn: Jack Hobbs becomes the Utopian's friend and uses his power to help the world.
- So Beautiful, It's a Curse: No man can be with Lady Liberty, they always think it feels wrong.
- Super-Intelligence:
- Jack Hobb is phenomenally intelligent, yet is apparently technically human.
- George and Walter are also noted to be hyper-intelligent as well, though Walter's is mostly an Informed Attribute.
So Beautiful, It's a Curse is definitely ZCE. I could think up a few tropes that can make sense with the statement given: Abhorrent Admirer, Jailbait Taboo (if Lady Liberty is young-looking)... When that's the case, you got a ZCE.
As for Heel–Face Turn, I see no evidence of the "heel" part. Super-Intelligence could use a bit more context.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportDo the following examples from Chaos Walking look like they have enough context?:
- Blessed with Suck: Every man has their thoughts heard by everyone in the area. (So do the aliens, but they actually like the power, and it's vital for their communication.)
- Blood Knight: At the beginning of Monsters of Men, when Mayor Prentiss witnesses an army vastly superior to his own descending upon his city with the intention of killing him in retribution for a genocide that he committed for the sole purpose of instigating this war his reaction is to grin with joy and utter: "War. At last."
- Manipulative Bastard: Mayor Prentiss. Throughout The Ask and the Answer, he plays head games with Todd, Viola, and his own son who he ends up shooting. Starts a Big Badass Battle Sequence at the beginning of Monsters of Men. In The Knife of Never Letting Go, drags Aaron along as a Church Militant while trying to chase Todd down.
- Thinking Out Loud: Happens in a big way. Noise is basically broadcasting your thoughts.
Blessed with Suck needs to explain what the power or ability is and why does it suck. Thinking Out Loud is when a character says their thoughts aloud. Not sure the context fits that trope.
Shiren the Wanderer and its Characters subpage sure are from 2012.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. It starts off well enough from the first few folders, but as you go deeper... then the ZCE starts swarming all over the place.
The page for Worldbuilding is just full of ZC Es. Most examples just go "this work has world building in it". Here's the entire Comic Books section:
- Albedo: Erma Felna EDF has this and also basically Universe Building as well, as the culture of each planet, language and many other details are painfully explained in many interesting ways.
- The IDW continuities of Godzilla, Namely its ongoing series consisting of Kingdom of Monsters, Godzilla Ongoing and Rulers of Earth.
- While Marvel Comics' 2099 Unlimited anthology series was best known for introducing the 2099 version of the Hulk, it also featured a series of back-up stories featuring one-shot or minor recurring characters in order to help fill in more details about the world of 2099.
- The Alternate History of Mega Man.

The JWL have a lot of "X is this" examples.
While that's bad on its own, I did look through it's character pages (the main index have not seen updates since 2013) and... do we even need to keep this thing?
The subpages are a mess. No updates for over a year. ZCE, mostly in the form of "X do this, Y does that", plenty of weblinks, and questionable stuff that make each pages borderline cutlist-worthy.
See for yourself, IDK what to make of all these: The JWL Current Roster, The JWL Retired, The JWL Released, The JWL Deceased, The JWL Other
And the Trivia and YMMV page, too. Namely the Trivia has a few misplaced items, and the sole YMMV item have a "This Troper" writing. Both which have not seen updates in a year...

Are the following examples from Characters.Jupiters Legacy being used correctly?:
- Superman Substitute: Sheldon/The Utopian is The Cape with a moral code, and has Super-Strength, can fly and can fire Eye Beams.
- The Confidant: Grace is this to her husband to give him counter-arguments and suggestions.
- "Well Done, Son" Guy: Brandon suffers from this due to most people's expectations that he will succeed his father who feels unsure about it due to his high standards.
Almost, no, and no. When an example uses some form of "is this," it's probably a ZCE.
Commented out as much as I could on Series.Eli Stone.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportSubpages for Closers Online have some ZCE problems
I know that one! That's a borderline lesbian anime from 2012 and... yeah, it's pretty bad, I counted only 3 examples which aren't ZCE, one which I'm sure it's misuse (the Celibate Hero is a rather poor shoehorn)
We'd probably end up sending the whole thing to the cutlist if it's not going to be fixed...

Characters.Ore Shura has almost nothing but ZCE.
>Although this manga is not technically classified as hentai (technically in the sense that FAR less explicit content has been treated as hentai), it deliberately skirts as closely as possible while still being publishable in a mainstream magazine.
Yeah apparently so. Can't imagine 5P hasn't looked at it long ago, though.
