    • In addition to his work on The Partridge Family, creator Bernard Slade is best known for developing The Flying Nun.
    • Jerry Paris directed two episodes. Paris is best known for player Jerry Helper on The Dick Van Dyke Show, and later the primary director for Happy Days.
    • Dale McRaven wrote 15 episodes. McRaven is best known as creator and executive producer of Perfect Strangers and for co-creating Mork & Mindy.
    • William Bickley wrote 11 episodes. Bickley is best known as co-creator and co-executive producer of Family Matters and Step by Step.
    • Michael Leeson wrote six episodes. Leeson is best known for co-creating The Cosby Show.
    • Susan Harris wrote three episodes. Harris is best known as creator and executive producer of Soap, Benson, The Golden Girls, and Empty Nest.
    • Martin Cohan also wrote three episodes. Cohan is best known as co-creator and co-executive producer of Who's the Boss? and for co-creating Silver Spoons.
    • John Wilder wrote an episode. Wilder is best known as developer and executive producer of Centennial, as well as being producer of the first three seasons of The Streets of San Francisco.
    • Dennis Klein also wrote an episode. Klein is best known for co-creating The Larry Sanders Show.
    • Farrah Fawcett plays a minor role in "The Sound of Money" as a shopper Danny enlists to help prove a Frivolous Lawsuit is fraudulent.
    • Jaclyn Smith appears in "When Mother Gets Married" as the niece of Shirley's new boyfriend.
    • Mark Hamill guest stars in "Old Scrapmouth" as Laurie's boyfriend.
    • Norman Fell is in "The Undergraduate" as the father of a college student with a crush of Shirley. Fell's character in this episode makes a reference to The Graduate. He had a small role in the movie as the landlord of an apartment that Benjamin rents for a time.
    • Gordon Jump, later of Soap and WKRP in Cincinnati, plays minor roles in seven episodes.
    • Anthony Geary guest stars under the name Tony Geary in "Ain't Loveth Grand", in which he has a Childhood Friend Romance with Laurie.
    • Dana Elcar plays a math teacher in "Trial of the Partridge One".
    • Jodie Foster plays a fangirl with a crush on Danny in "The Eleven-Year Itch".
    • Harry Morgan, best known as Col. Sherman T. Potter from M*A*S*H, plays Whiplash Willie in "The Sound of Money".
    • Cheryl Ladd plays a girl Keith tries to date in "Double Trouble".
  • Serial Numbers Filed Off: The aforementioned Partridge Family 2200 AD was originally meant to be a new Jetsons series with an older cast, but ended up starring the Partridge Family instead and makes no effort whatsoever to hide this fact.
  • Sweet Dreams Fuel: Admit it: "Come On Get Happy" can make you smile on even the greyest of days.
  • Testosterone Brigade: The casting of Susan Dey as Laurie Partridge was intended to balance out David Cassidy's Estrogen Brigade. (Dey's numerous fanservicy roles later on suggest it worked.)
