• Broken Base: There's a major split in the fanbase over how Max0r's editing style has evolved from fast-paced but easily-comprehensible gags to Rapid-Fire Comedy with numerous Freeze-Frame Bonus jokes. One side agrees with Max that this adds greatly enhanced humor and plenty of rewatchability, while the other side feels the speed prevents the jokes from landing well and prefer it when each joke had a few seconds to set in.
• Crosses the Line Twice:
  • A couple times in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
    • Anything Sundowner/Jeff Bezos says. Anything. Made funnier by how a lot of it is actual game dialogue, and the lines that aren't from the game are full of Corpsing.
      Sundowner: "There ain't enough room in this preschool for the two of us!"
      Sundowner: "Kids are cruel, Jack. And I loooove minors!"
    • Senator Armstrong's voice actor delivers the lines so bombastically and confidently to match the existing character's motions:
      Armstrong: Imagine a world, Raiden, free of cancel culture! Where no one can call me out for my outlandish claims! A WORLD WHERE I CAN SAY THE N-WORD!
  • For Final Fantasy XV, Max0r compares Noctis getting his ancestors' powers to him grave robbing. While that's already a fit for this trope, what really sells it is this line:
    Max0r: "Thanks, grandpa! Your ashes were delicious."
  • In Elden Ring Part 1, Max0r absolutely goes to town while introducing us to Rennala of The Full Moon and her children.
    Max0r: Welcome, one and allocaust to CHILD SLAUGHTERFEST Two-Thousand and Two-Twos! That's right: This is an American school after all! And in this battle, we're going to be teaching these kids the harsh realities of the hood.
  • Incorrect Summary of Elden Ring Part 2 had Tanith in her entirety, thanks to her horrifying lines of blood sacrifices being read with enthusiasm by Ironmouse, who does not bother to affect a deeper voice.
    • In a similar vein, Mohg from Part 3 is portrayed as performing his depraved acts with such casual indifference by CDawgVA that it makes one of the most horrific characters from the original game into a hilarious Cold Ham.
      Mohg: Goddammit, I was doing something in the blood dimension, brother! I do not have time to pound your boipusse today!
  • Max0r falling down the Uyghur Disposal Shaft in the Jiangxi Copper Company during "ULTRAKILL Act 2". The only reason why such a poor-taste joke ends up being funny is because it's such a throwaway line and ridiculous exaggeration of a single hole V1 jumps down in 5-1, not to mention Max0r has clearly taken the piss beforehand out of China's human rights track records (and himself, as a Genshin Impact fan), already having done so in the video repeatedly.
• Fountain of Memes: His Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance video has turned an already memetic game even more memetic almost nine years after its production, largely because there are many one-liners that don't sound out of place from the original game.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • Our comparison of him to SsethTzeentach if Sseth covered more mainstream games became this after Sseth not only released a video on the fairly mainstream Elden Ring, but also voices Gideon in Max0r's Elden Ring videos.
  • The way Minos Prime reacts to his death in "An Incorrect Summary of Ultrakill" became this when P-2 released a few months later, as Sisyphus Prime reacts in the exact same way.
  • In July 2022, Kaneko Lumi of Phase-Connect had an interview with Max0r. Several months later, she would join him as the voice of Ashley in his Resident Evil 4 (Remake) episode.
  • In his Metal Gear Solid V Incorrect Summary, Skull Face plans to use the Language Virus on Japan and Japanese speakers to eradicate weebs and VTubers. In August 2023, Usada Pekora of hololive started doing playthroughs of the games, and had a Colbert Bump from Hideo Kojima.
  • In his Project Wingman video, he brings back Clown Torres for a gag. Years later, the PlayStation 5 exclusive DLC, "Frontline 59", introduces General Faust who's considered a Distaff Counterpart and an airborne version of Torres. What makes it swing into Harsher territory is her boss fight is done on the day of "Consequences of Power."
  • In part 1 of his Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance episode, he has Raiden deal with the trauma of finding the child brains by Fortnite dancing out of the level. In January 2024, Metal Gear is added into Fortnite with players able to buy skins based on Solid Snake and Raiden.
• Ho Yay: The Resident Evil 4 (Remake): Part 1 video is dripping with this, especially between Leon and Luis, with Max0r stating it had to be done after seeing their chained-up scene after Leon's capture.
• Memetic Mutation:
  • "Vergil hiring Vergil's brother and Vergil's son to defeat Vergil so Vergil can become Vergil (featuring Vergil)"^ExplanationMax0r's on-point and hilarious sentence summarizing the entire plot of Devil May Cry 5. It became popular enough to be the most-quoted variant of the "Vergil May Cry" memes within the Devil May Cry fanbase.
  • My source is that I made it the fuck up!^ExplanationThe line said by Senator Armstrong in Max0r's second Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance video which memetically lampshades an In-Universe Factoid Failure. It gets even more hillarious with the actual voice actors of Raiden and Armstrong joining in for the fun.
    Raiden: That's a nice argument, Senator. Why don't you back it up with a source?
    Armstrong: My source is that I made it the fuck up!
  • Sentient Editing Software^ExplanationThe extent and quality of his video editing is such that some viewers joke that Max0r has or is a sentient editing software.
• Signature Line: This exchange from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Part 2, which is easily one of the most quoted lines from entirety of Max0r's videos:
  Raiden: That's a nice argument, Senator. Why don't you back it up with a source?
  Armstrong: My source is that I made it the fuck up!
• Spiritual Successor: If you ever wanted to see Sseth cover more mainstream games, look no further.
• Unintentional Period Piece: A both in and mildly out of universe example arising from him trying to tackle a game with a narrative unfolding day by day. Max0r's Helldivers II review has a lengthy section talking about the constant struggle Super Earth's forces were making for Malevelon Creek which was likely contemporary while he was making it, but by the time the review actually came out not only had Malevelon Creek been liberated for almost two weeks, but the entire Automaton Front had shifted out of the Severin Sector and into the Valdis sector as the Automatons began their Reclamation offensive.
• Woolseyism: Some of Max0r's jokes in the Polish subtitles in the Metal Gear Rising: Revengence have been changed from referencing American culture, brands, people, and organizations to reference Polish culture.
  • Jetstream Sam's joke after slicing someone in half is changed to be about Kaczyński brothers, a pair of twin politicians, after one’s death in 2010.
  • Max0r's joke about Blade Wolf summoning "Meals on Wheels" is changed to him summoning Pasibus, a Polish brand that also has food trucks.
  • The joke about Desperado selling weaponized "Baby Shark" to the restart the war economy is changed to selling weaponized "Mucha w Mucholocie".
  • Raiden watches Faktyy TVN instead of CNN in his car.
  • Polish commentator Tomasz Hajto hosts the “hotel lobby” instead of Mr. Moseby.
  • Max0r’s joke about freeing the Second Amendment references Polish special forces unit GROM instead of the ATF.
