Chapter 15: The Reason Behind the Farewell

As Rentarou tries to process Hakari's request to break up with her, the two of them are escorted to the changing rooms. By the time Rentarou is back in his normal clothes, Hakari is already gone, with the other girls wondering where she went. Figuring that she was taken home, Rentarou tries to call her, but gets no answer. He finds her address on photos she sent him, which leads him to a huge mansion.

Rentarou spots Hakari in one of the windows and tries to get her attention, but is forced to hide from a security guard on the property. Hakari calls Rentarou on the house phone, and Rentarou demands an explanation for her asking him to break up with her. After some pressing, she admits to having told her mother about him and the other girls he was seeing, explaining that she'll be transferred to a new school and her mother will do anything to keep Rentarou out of her life. Her mother then takes the phone to reaffirm her daughter's story before hanging up.

Rentarou's efforts to get her attention only alert a security guard, who again tells Rentarou to stay away from Hakari. Meanwhile, Hakari begs her mother for forgiveness, with the latter threatening Rentarou if she doesn't stay away from him.

As Rentarou wanders through town, frustrated at how much of a formidable opponent he's up against, he spots a pink four-leaf clover growing up from a sidewalk crack and decides to take his chances to try and rescue Hakari. He explains the situation to the girls, who all decide to join in the mission alongside him.

    Chapter 16: Love Mission: Impossible

Rentarou and the girls infiltrate the Hanazono residence to rescue Hakari. Rentarou tries to get Hakari's attention by throwing a ball at her bedroom window so she can grapple down with a rope, but he misses the window and the ball lands in the paws of the cat of a wealthy family. They lose the ball when a pair of security guards spot the cat and try to coax it inside by playing with the ball. Nano deduces from the cat's presence that the house has a pet door, through which she manages to unlock the door by flinging pebbles at the lock through the pet door.

Entering the mansion, the group is suddenly confronted by the dog of a wealthy family. Everyone except Shizuka makes it outside, with the latter laying herself down in front of the dog so the others can get through. The dog begins licking Shizuka, falling on instincts to protect weaker creatures. Kusuri slips a sleeping drug to Shizuka to subdue the dog, but Shizuka misinterprets the instructions and drinks it herself. But the dog knocks itself out by licking Shizuka's face.

After awakening Shizuka with the neutralizer, the group comes down to a long hallway. Before they can move forward, though, the cat of a wealthy family triggers an alarm, revealing that the hall is lined with infrared sensors. Kusuri offers up a dose of eyedrops for seeing infrared light, which she was planning to submit to an overseas pharmaceutical company as part of a job application before deciding to rescue Hakari. Rentarou puts the drops in his eyes and quickly sees that the entire hallway is stacked top to bottom and front to back with infrared sensors.

    Chapter 17: Hakari's Mother

The story thus far: this is impossible even for Tom Cruise.

As Rentarou surveys the infrared sensors, he realizes there's a gap near the ceiling due to a set of chandeliers. This means they can climb above the sensors to get past them. But the hallway is too wide for one person to climb up, so two people need to work together to be able to climb up. Nano determines that Karane would be the only one able to help Rentarou climb up the walls, and she ties the two of them together for the task.

The duo slowly work their way up the wall and over the sensors. During the maneuver, Karane's shirt starts to ride up her body, causing Rentarou's face to touch her stomach. Because the eyedrops prevent him from seeing non-infrared light, he doesn't know what's happening.

Eventually, they succeed in clearing the sensors and make their way into Hakari's room. Before they can rescue her, however, an alarm triggers, summoning the guards to the room. Karane and Rentarou are quickly captured by Hakari's mother Hahari and escorted to her chamber, leaving Hakari to bemoan how much of a burden she feels to Rentarou.

Meanwhile, Rentarou attempts to plead his case with Hahari, who brushes off his "sugarcoated" words, believing that Hakari would make the same mistake that she did as a teenager, having gotten herself pregnant at the age of 13 with a terminally ill classmate and being forced to raise the child all by herself. While moved by her life's story to the point of tears, Rentarou insists to Hahari that his feeling for Hakari are genuine even with all the other girls he's dating. At this point, the eyedrops wear off, allowing Rentarou to see Hahari's face and—ZING!!

Chapter 18: The Lie Detecting Witch Trial

Hahari suddenly confesses to Rentarou, surprising Rentarou and shocking Karane. She quickly rerails the discussion, deciding to subject Rentarou to a Lie Detector test, hoping to prove his insincerity to Hakari. Rentarou, however, sees it as a chance to prove his sincerity to Hahari. But first, he asks Hahari to prove the machine can be trusted. To this end, Hahari subjects Karane to the machine first, since she's the only person present who can provide an objective assessment.

The machine demonstrates its effectiveness when Karane hems and haws an answer about her bust size, and demonstrates the degree of truth needed to pass when Karane is asked if she likes Rentarou and has to answer with a Title Drop. Despite the machine's strength, Rentarou passes the "pest trial" with flying colors.

As Hahari attempts to dismiss the results of the interrogation, a maid bursts into the chamber and informs Hahari that her daughter is trying to jump out the window. Karane immediately takes Hahari hostage and orders Rentarou to rescue Hakari. As he leaves to find Hakari, Hahari tries to drag herself to her daughter's room with Karane trying to hold her back.

Chapter 19: Even if it Costs Me my Life

Rentarou manages to talk Hakari out of jumping out the window, but it's too late. She loses her footing on the outside ledge, forcing Rentarou to grab her to stop her from falling. As Hahari reaches the room with Karane being dragged behind her, the guards rush forward to pull the duo back inside, but they both fall. Only with a swift kick to the outside wall does Rentarou manage to redirect the fall into the fountain of a wealthy family.

The other girls emerge from the bushes and rush to their aid, with Hahari and Karane exiting through the main door. Realizing that Rentarou was truly honest about his promise to risk his life for Hakari, Hahari asks him to take care of her daughter, with Rentarou promising to take care of both of them and accepting her earlier confession, to the shock of all the other girls.

With the night no longer young, Hahari invites Rentarou and the girls to spend the night at the mansion.

Chapter 20: We Said We'd do it, so Let's go all out With the Reward Chapter

The girls start cleaning themselves in the bath of a wealthy family, with Karane redressing and leaving when the girls start comparing bust sizes. Regrouping with Rentarou, she starts vigorously rubbing his stomach when she remembers his face touching her stomach during the climb above the infrared sensors, only snapping out of it when Kusuri emerges from the bath and tries to join in on what she thinks is a game of sumo wrestling.

Afterward, Hahari provides pajamas for everyone for a dress up show. The ensuing Cuteness Overload causes Hahari to get a Nosebleed, and during a trip to retrieve some water, she takes Rentarou to her room and starts undressing him. A scream from Rentarou prompts the other girls to think that Hahari is trying to get Rentarou's virginity, but when they get there, they find Rentarou dressed as a girl, causing him to pass out.

Hahari decides the best way to revive him is to dress up Nano as a prince and have her kiss Rentarou, the ensuing scene causing the other girls to start drooling. As Rentarou regains his senses and leaves to take a bath, the Hanazonos follow after him with a coil of rope, intending to peep on Rentarou taking a bath.

Chapter 21: Let's Span This Across Multiple Chapters. That's What Going all out Means

The story thus far: the perverted mother and daughter want to see Rentarou's privates. All the other girls decide to tag along as well, with the sole exception of Shizuka, who gets tied up in a blanket so she can have her purity protected. Rentarou, meanwhile, already expects unwelcome visitors during his bath time and has a towel wrapped around his waist to protect his decency.

The girls' first plan is to lower Kusuri down to a window overlooking the bath, but Kusuri can't see anything through the steam. Rentarou then catches a glimpse of a scary face and screams, forcing a retreat. At the same time, Shizuka is fearful of what will happen if the other girls succeed in peeping on Rentarou and tries to roll her way to the bath to stop them.

One of Hahari's maids escorts the group up to an attic above the bath, with the cat of a wealthy family following behind them. The cat causes a ruckus in the attic, causing Rentarou to think there are ghosts trying to talk to him. At this point, Shizuka reaches the top of the stairs above the bath and gets pushed down by the dog of a wealthy family. The rope holding Shizuka snaps and Shizuka plunges into the bathwater, scaring Rentarou and giving Shizuka a Nosebleed when she sees his privates.

The rest of the girls emerge from the attic, having realized the cat had joined them. They try to hide their escapade as a game of hide-and-seek, but Karane blurts out that they were trying to peep on him taking a bath, prompting Rentarou to lecture them while Shizuka recovers from her episode.

Chapter 22: Members of the Hanazono Family

After Hahari steps out of a card game, Rentarou finds her at an altar for a young boy who turns out to be Hakari's father. Recalling what she told him before their eyes met, Rentarou gets her to open up about her fear of disrespecting her late boyfriend's memory by falling in love with Rentarou. Rentarou tells her there's nothing wrong with loving him on top of loving Hakari's father, and she can still have genuine feelings for both, sealing his words with a kiss.

Later that night, Rentarou crosses paths with the ghost of Hakari's father. While he is initially angry at Rentarou for taking his girlfriend and daughter, Rentarou placates him with his sincere feelings for both of them. "Father-in-law" thanks Rentarou for helping Hahari move on from his death, and Rentarou thanks "Father-in-law" for Hakari and Hahari, causing the ghost to be brought to heaven free of his dying regrets.

The next morning, Rentarou and the girls return to their homes to collect their uniforms and head off to school. But once they get there, they discover that Hahari has bought out the school and become the new chairwoman so she could spend time with Rentarou, who detoured to the mansion on his way to school.

    Chapter 23: His Name

Hakari gathers the girlfriends on the rooftop to discuss the possibility that their relationship with Rentarou might enter the "fatigue stage", as all of them (except Hahari) have been dating him for three volumes, which Hakari considers three months in manga time. To combat this problem, Hakari has asked Kusuri to develop a brand new drug - the "reborn as a new you" drug that should eliminate the fatigue stage. Unfortunately, Kusuri makes a mistake, and the drug blows up. Rentarou hears the explosion and races to the roof to check on his girlfriends, only to discover that they have all swapped bodies with each other!

After a few seconds, it's established that Hakari is currently inhabiting Nano's body, while Kusuri is inside Hakari's body, Hahari is in Kusuri's body, Karane is inside Hahari's body, Shizuka is inside Karane, and Nano is inside Shizuka. With that resolved, Rentarou wonders how to get the girlfriends back to normal, as Kusuri lacks the supplies needed to make the reversal drug. Shizuka suggests headbutting each other, which has no effect. Hahari then comes up with the idea for the girls to kiss Rentarou. The second she does so, however, her soul is ejected from Kusuri's body. This causes Kusuri to realise that their souls are currently in such an unstable state that a kiss would make them so lightheaded the souls would slip out of the wrong bodies and into the right ones.

Not seeing the point in wasting time, Nano is the second to kiss Rentarou, followed by Kusuri, Shizuka, Karane and finally Hakari. As Kusuri hypothesized, this causes the souls to return to their rightful bodies. Afterwards, Hakari asks Rentarou how he liked the girls when they weren't their normal selves. Rentarou states that, while it made his heart go crazy, he prefers the girls as their own selves. Overwhelmed with happiness, the girls all initiate another kissing spree, this time in their own bodies.

Bonus Chapter: Hahari-san Wants to Be Spoiled

Rentarou is in Hahari's office with severe bruises, which he obtained from Karane after accidentally falling onto Hakari's chest. Hahari lets him take a short rest on the sofa, then proceeds to put his head on her lap and gently pet him. When he expresses concern, she tells him that it's OK to be indulged every so often, then gives him a hug...and proceeds to lift her shirt, exposing her breasts. Rentarou is shocked, but once Hahari explains that it's just a little bonus for the readers, he can't resist groping her and putting his face in her chest...

Or at least that's what Hahari is dreaming about, having fallen asleep playing house.
