Couch Gag - Bleep.

Jellystone Moon Platoon

  • All for Nothing: The crew's training was all for naught since the moon wasn't actually going to eat the sun.
  • An Aesop: Although it is Played for Laughs, this episode teaches that you shouldn't look at an eclipse without special sunglasses.
  • Blinded by the Sun: The Jellystone citizens get their eyes burned by staring directly at the eclipse.
  • Body Horror: During the Training Montage, the bodies of Yogi, Snag, and Augie all get combined.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: "I'd thought we'd at least get another season." Ironically, "season 2" of Jellystone is actually the second half of Season 1.
  • Cheesy Moon: The moon complains that people say she is made of cheese.
  • Counting to Potato: During the countdown, Captain Caveman counts "29, banana".
  • Embarrassing Browser History: Yogi tells Boo-Boo to erase his browser history.
  • The Face of the Sun: The sun can talk and is named Kevin.
  • Fireball Eyeballs: Everyone's eyes burn from staring at the eclipse.
  • Flapping Cheeks: In the rocket simulation during the Training Montage, the crew's cheeks and sockets flap from the sheer amount of force. Snagglepuss even gets a new face from it.
  • If I Do Not Return: Augie - tell her Daddy she loves him. Snagglepuss - tell his reflection he loves him. Yogi - tell Boo-Boo to delete his internet history.
  • Jaw Drop: Done by Huck and Cavey when they learn of the moon's true intentions.
  • Male Sun, Female Moon: The sun is a guy named Kevin, and the moon is a girl named Rebecca.
  • The Man in the Moon: The moon can talk and is named Rebecca.
  • My Friends... and Zoidberg: "Gentlemen, and Augie."
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Everyone feels guilty immediately after it is revealed that the moon wasn't going to eat the sun; they were just going to spend one day together.
  • Not-So-Innocent Whistle: Captain Caveman whistles to deny responsibility for insinuating the false rumor.
  • Space Episode: The episode features Jellystone's three smartest residents (Yogi Bear, Snagglepuss, and Augie Doggie) becoming astronauts to stop the moon from eating the sun.
  • Team Power Walk: Yogi, Snagglepuss, and Augie all do a slow-motion walk as they board the spaceship.
  • Troubled Fetal Position: Huckleberry Hound ends up in this position after The Reveal.
  • Waxing Lyrical: Around nine and a half minutes into the episode, Snagglepuss ad-libs some of the lyrics to "Firework."
Snagglepuss: You know, I feel like a plastic bag. Drifting through the wind. Wanting to start again, even.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Captain Caveman claims that the moon is going to eat the sun, resulting in mass hysteria. When it's revealed that the sun and moon are (literally) star-crossed lovers, Huck shoots him an angry glare.

The Sea Monster of Jellystone Cove

  • Accidental Misnaming: Jonny keeps being called 'Billy'.
  • Age Lift: The Teen Angels are now Young Adult Angels.
  • Beach Episode: The town needs a break, and since it's Moby-Dick's birthday, the citizens decide to go to the beach. Jabberjaw and Loopy pretend to be sea monsters to scare everyone off.
  • Birthday Episode: It is the birthday of Moby Dick. At the end of the episode, he squashes everyone in revenge for ruining his birthday.
  • The Cameo: Kwicky Koala makes prominent cameos. Each time, crabs try to take his shorts away.
  • Continuity Nod:
    • While surfing, Yogi becomes Buff Yogi.
    • Magilla arrives at the beach only to get hit in the face by a coconut launched by Jabberjaw, losing his memory.
  • Crazy Jealous Guy: Jonny comes off as quite jealous towards Hadji for paying more attention to the sea monsters than to him.
  • Exhausted Eye Bags: Jabber, Loopy, and Huck all have eye bags from working too hard.
  • Get Out!: Jabberjaw snaps and yells at everyone to get out of the store.
  • Luminescent Blush: Yogi blushes when Boo-Boo keeps embarrassing him in front of the Young Adult Angels.
  • Noodle Incident: Huck has apparently been married three times.

  • "Scooby-Doo" Hoax: Jabberjaw and Loopy pretend to be sea monsters in order to scare everyone away and have the beach to themselves.
  • Squashed Flat: Moby-Dick actually gets on land and squashes everyone like a pancake.
  • Suddenly Speaking: Jonny FINALLY gets to speak in the episode. He and Hadji are kidnapped to be servants for the sea monsters.
  • Two Lines, No Waiting: The A-plot is Jabber and Loopy becoming sea monsters. The B-plot is Yogi and Boo-Boo trying to impress Taffy Dare and Dee-Dee Skyes.
