• Ma'am Shock: Female antagonists have this reaction whenever the FMC's kids call her "auntie". Sometimes, she tries to correct them have them calling her "sister" (onee-san) instead.
  • "My sister, who thinks she is the most beautiful person in the world, plundered my fiancé": When Natsuko approaches her nephews Karin and Casino after playing with a man in the street, the latter of the siblings calls her "auntie", to which Natsuko is appalled and asks him to call her "sister".
  • "My Sister Robbed My Fiancee! However, the person who looted it was…": Onpu sees Burimi grinning and calls her "aunt" while asking her what she was planning. She tries to deflect the situation before going ballistic on the girl for calling her "aunt". However, Onpu doubles down on it and calls her a "bastard aunt," much to Kanade's dismay.
  • "My sister trying to piggyback on my wedding anniversary dinner and get sushi at.." [sic] stars a rare example where the FMC reacts like this. When Ram's sister Rei comes over with her two daughters Kaho and Shiho, they call Ram "auntie", to which she takes offense. When Ram refused to let Rei stay, the brats doubled down and called her "ogre aunt".
• Made Out to Be a Jerkass:
  • On the eve of the wedding, my fiancée was snatched away by a bratty junior colleague...: Ram is cast as a violent bully for calling Shiho out on stealing her fiancé Kinoshita-kun, while making it look like he was engaged to Shiho. The rumors escalate to the point her chief transfers Ram to another department under Chief Kairi.
  • My sister call me wedding now with my fiance → But I'm having a wedding abroad at that time ...! ?? [sic]: Erica whined and accused her younger sister Kanade of hurting her with playing blocks in response to the latter calling the former out on her bullying when they were both kids.
• Madonna-Whore Complex: Office and high school stories where both the protagonist and antagonist are female show signs of this. The protagonist will usually be diligent and not care about looks while she's engaged to her Love Interest, while the antagonist is a stuck-up, immature young woman who will use her looks to get what she wants, be it forcing her workload on other female employees (especially the FMC) or target the FMC's fiancé while manipulating any guy who does have feelings for her. These stories usually end with the antagonist being punished or corrected for her actions.
• Malingering Romance Ploy: Natsu from "My sister robbed my parents and my lover" invokes this on Narita by faking her sickness and claiming she doesn't have long to live, in order to drive him away from Haru so he'll marry her instead. However, it turns out Narita was a certified doctor and therefore saw right through her all along, exposing her to both Haru and her parents.
• Married Too Young: Nonoka from My sister plundered my fiancé! Now my arranged marriage partner is also plundered stays firm in her decision to marry and steal Ikki-san from Ram despite her parents' telling her she is still young. However, Nonoka regrets her decision, although for different reasons.
• Meaningful Name: Haru speculates that the kanji that conforms her sister Eclair's name means "perpetual love"^note 永久恋愛, actually pronounced eikyuuren'ai.
• Meido: In "My Parents Loves Only My Sister And I Was Taken To A Nasty Fat Guy's House And Ended Up..." [sic], Kanade finds out her parents sold her to Takeuchi after going on a trip with her sister Erica to the UK. Moreover, Takeuchi forced her to wear a maid outfit with an extremely short skirt as an excuse to perv on her all day until Alto came over and chewed him out for it before calling Kanade out for her own passiveness.
• Mistaken for Pedophile: Ms. Kanon got fired from her teaching position by the at-the-time Vice Principal for refusing his offer by taking advantage of her being hugged by a then-elementary-aged Matsuri.

• Names to Run Away from Really Fast: Chief Alto from "A misunderstood woman who pretends to be a lover when she is not even in a relationship" is known as the "devil nobleman" among his subordinates due to how notoriously strict he is. However, Kanade is the only one who sees such a nickname as ridiculous, which tips off she's Alto's fiancée.
• Nap-Inducing Speak: Kanade was about to fall asleep from Minami's endless bragging about her beauty when the former invited the latter to drink. However, Minami noticed and snapped her out of it.
• Nice Girl: Kanade in all of the stories featuring her. Ram and Haru are also this to an extent, only that they have more of a backbone than her.

• Obnoxious Entitled Housewife:
  • "Mom Friend Makes Me Pay For Her Restaurant Bill → But When I Said I Canceled My Reservation…": Kechimi met Haru at a maternity hospital and always gave her unwanted advice on how to care for her baby son Nari since the former was the mother of three kids. Moreover, she takes advantage of Haru's kindness and rich husband Narita to eat out at expensive places and force her to pay the tab. She even yelled at the waitress on her way to the restaurant near the Puni Shrine and started to throw tantrums when Haru refused to pay the tab for her as she canceled the reservation. However, she gets better once she works to pay off the food she ate.
  • "Mom Friend Makes Me Pay For Everything → But When She Goes To The Wrong High End Restaurant…": Takako started to take advantage of Haru's kindness and her husband Narita's wealth ever since the latter treated her to a high-end restaurant and forced her to pay for everything she bought. Moreover, both she and her daughter Misa even resorted to emotional blackmail to manipulate Haru into buying them stuff. However, their luck runs out when they eat at a high-end barbecue restaurant and it turns out Haru was in a different one, leading her to run off without paying until Haru refuses to pay for her.
  • 'A women who always don't pay when we go out to eat→"Come quickly! Please pay"→"I can't go"': Tomoko-san is a single mother with two kids who let Kanade pay all her tabs for her under the excuse she works as a part-time worker. Whenever Kanade tried to hold her accountable for mooching off of her, she always comes up with all sorts of excuses to get her off her back. Furthermore, her daughter Yukie is just as demanding and pushy. When she went to a fancy sushi place and called Kanade to make her pay the tab as well as the painting Yukie destroyed, Kanade reveals she's marrying overseas and won't return.
• Obnoxious In-Laws:
  • Shiho, Kanade's mother-in-law, bullies her for "taking" her son Alto away from her. When Kanade comes home carrying a lingerie store bag, she suspects her of cheating on Alto and hoped him finding Kanade on the deed when returning from his business trip. Kanade's father-in-law, on the other hand, is nice, although touchy with her.
  • Mie was mistreated by her in-laws because she never went to college. They ditched her on their vacation to the desert island. Fortunately Haru captured footage of the in-laws' mistreatment of Mie and uploaded it to YouTube leading to Mie's husband cutting off contact with them.
  • Miki is Erica's sister-in-law and brags about how she's liked by boys at the pool. When Alto and Kairi flirted with her, she seized the moment to have them mock Erica along her.
  • Toshie-san barged into Kanade and Alto's house every day to pick on the former for anything and everything out of a belief Kanade stole her son Alto from her.
• Ocular Gushers: Moka Kiyoi from "Pretentious coworker with 6 boyfriends flirts with my fiancé.But it will be exposed ..." cries cutesy high-pressure Crocodile Tears whenever a female coworker points out her mistakes, knowing the men would come to her aid and chew out whoever "made her cry."
• Offended by an Enemy's Indifference: Casino is Kanade's toxic older brother who she has all but cut ties with. During a marriage meeting between Kanade and Alto's families, Casino and his wife show up, having been invited by his mother. During the meeting, Casino looks down on Alto for his lower income and declares that he isn't coming to Kanade and Alto's wedding. During the day of the wedding, Casino calls Kanade and says that he isn't coming, expecting her to be offended. Kanade responds by saying she didn't invite him. Casino becomes enraged at Kanade, accusing her of insulting him, and shows up in order to make her look bad for not inviting her brother. Luckily, Alto's daughter had a recording of him explicitly stating that he didn't want to come.
• Official Couple: Alto is always paired with Kanade at the end of any story featuring them.
• Offscreen Karma: In On the eve of the wedding, my fiancée was snatched away by a bratty junior colleague..., the CEO that visits the subsidiary branch of the company where Ram was transferred to tells her that her former fiancé Kinoshita-kun was fired for selling information to a rival company and irreverence towards business partners.
• Oh, Crap!: Ram has this reaction when Yuri showed up one last time with a pair of thugs she hired to beat the former up for letting her marry Masashi without telling her and her family he was part of a fraud scheme.
• Old Maid:
  • "An experienced woman mounting with male experience. However...": When Alto caught Shotae at the office and told the numbers appeared on his and his coworkers' heads, he claimed it measured experience, Yuka's was a 0, for which a hat-wearing Moeka mocks her as usual, bragging about her experience. However, when Shotae breaks free of her restraints, she takes off the hat and reveals Moeka's number is also a 0.
  • "My sister, who thinks she is the most beautiful person in the world, plundered my fiancé": Haru's older sister Natsuko is an attractive 32-year-old woman who never got married. Moreover, it's implied the major cause she could never marry was because she stole Haru's ex-husband and had the gall to brag about it instead of apologizing. Natsuko herself complains about how she's still single despite being pretty.
• Older Than They Look: In "The tragedy of a misunderstood woman who can't stop boasting about her beautiful hair," Haru was picked on for having a childlike appearance despite being in her twenties. Furthermore, she hates it and wants to be treated like her age.
• The Oldest Profession: In this story, Erica mentions it when she says she has to "please men" while her sister Kanade squanders their parents' money on nightclubs and dates. Unfortunately, they believed it and kicked Kanade out of the house.
• One-Night-Stand Pregnancy: In this story, a 10-year-old Ram asks her mom why they rejected her while doting on her younger sister, Momo. The latter reveals to the girl that she was born from a one-night stand. Therefore, the abusive hag couldn't stand Ram because the girl reminded her of her lover.
• One of the Boys: The episode "The girl who claims to have a not two-faced personality is making fun of me. But..." features Alyssa, a tomboyish girl in the track-and-field team who fakes being "chill" as part of her plan to attract boys. Therefore, she goes out of her way to bully Kanade because for being in the way of herself and Alto.
• Opaque Nerd Glasses: In this story, Kanade is depicted as a skinny, plain nerdy girl, complete with these.
• Operation: Jealousy: In this story, when Kanade meets Alto again after he broke up with her, she lies to him about marrying the president of a company to make him jealous. But instead of the expected reaction, he teared up and wished Kanade good luck. Kairi and Narita tell her that Alto broke up with her because he wanted her to be with someone who could support her dream to become a voice actor.
• Orphan's Plot Trinket: In My sister, who takes all my things, brags that she stole my boyfriend. But she was mistaken.. [sic], Kanade carried with herself a talking, sentient Puni doll she had since she was a baby. Later on, she ties it up to a farewell letter for Alto and parts with it after leaving the house following her younger sister Milano stealing her boyfriend. Thankfully, Alto gives it back to her after their marriage.
• Otaku:
  • Takeuchi started off as a stereotypical depiction of one.
  • Haru is one in My sister, who is adored by her parents, looted my boyfriend, who is a fan of Puni, who is a character from an in-universe anime and watching his livestreams.

• Panty Thief:
  • "When I bought new underwear, my mother-in-law suspected me of cheating on her" [sic]: Kanade's father-in-law was revealed to be the one who stole her underwear when his wife set up a camera in Kanade's room because she believes that Kanade is cheating on Alto.
  • "My underwear was lost when I was in the hot spring! →From the pocket of a man..." [sic]: A man stole underwear from Kanade and other women at the hot spring, but they didn't want to report him to the police because they didn't want to make a fuss about it on top of the police badgering them about what their underwear looked like.
  • "The underwear thief was a little boy. I lured him out in a bikini...": Shinsuke was a Dirty Kid who took advantage of his "big sister" Kanade taking him into her house to lust after her and steal her underwear, much to Alto's chagrin. To confirm it, Alto took her underwear to dry outside as bait, but Shinsuke didn't fall for it and planted the stolen underwear in Alto's bag to frame him.
• Parental Abandonment: Sae was abandoned by her mother Akie since she went blind from an accident, being raised by Haru's family, who had a blind relative. However, once Sae became a popular artist in the Internet, Akie came back to reclaim her.
• Parking Pay Back: Karin kept parking on Haru's parking lot without her permission since she is too cheap to pay for meter parking. When she and Narita went on vacation they decided to lock the parking lot for security reasons with Karin's car inside. Karin and Casino tried to break the lock but they ended up arrested and fined 10 million yen for damages.
• Pervert Revenge Mode: In "When we went to a spa, my father-in-law came into the spa with me..." the women threw several wood buckets at Ram's father-in-law after his towel dropped to the floor in the middle of justifying his presence in the women's bath. Given he followed Ram to said bath and the women's reactions to the event, it's implied he still had an erection from lusting after Ram.
• Playing Drunk: Minami faked being drunk to seduce Alto while insulting Kanade at the same time. However, her scheme falls apart when she took her mask off as it revealed she has an unattractive face.
• Playing Sick:
  • "My sister robbed my parents and my lover": Natsu faked illness so that her parents would spoil her and drive them away from her sister Haru. Moreover, she also did this to steal Narita from her.
  • "A girl fakes her illness trying to win a boy's heart...but what happens when she goes too far" [sic]: Momoko faked anemia to have Narita tend to her because she fell in love with him. However, when Haru interrupts the last time she does this, Narita reveals he already knew she was faking.
  • "Mom Friend Makes Me Pay For Her Restaurant Bill → But When I Said I Canceled My Reservation…": Sakura faked sickness as part of her plan to punish Kechimi for bullying and taking advantage of Haru.
  • "New employee fakes she's ill...what happens when a psychopath comes to check on her from work": Maho Tanaka pretended to be mentally ill to slack off at work while slandering her superior, Kanade, by claiming she abused her authority. However, Maho escalated her lie until she posted a video threatening to hang herself in social media, over which Casino came to her house with a knife to kill her until she admitted it was all a ruse. Since then, she has worked more diligently, although out of fear Casino will kill her if she doesn't.
• Plot Allergy: In this story, Kairi is allergic to chlorine. This detail reassures his fiancee Ram when her sister Hideko calls her about stealing him and going to the pool together.
• Professional Butt-Kisser:
  • Junko plays up her cuteness on her male bosses to get out of work and Haru has to cover for her. Narita refuses to fall for her advances and is the first person to speak sternly to her.
  • Yuka acts all cutesy around her boss Takeuchi despite her unappealing looks to replace Haru for being prettier than her.
  • Shiho acts cutesy to make her coworkers cover for her numerous mistakes. This is even more evident after Kinoshita-kun dumped her, as she kissed up to and even outright flirted with Chief Kairi, only for him to sternly tell her off.
• Psycho Ex-Girlfriend:
  • Hidemi was determined to have Alto all to herself, even when he dumped her. When she found out he was married, she tried to kill his pregnant wife.
  • Yuka was already off her rocker while dating Alto, but when he broke up with her upon finding out the type of person she was, she refused to accept it and harassed him and any girl who made a move on him. When she found him dating Kanade, she went out of her way to harass her.
• Punny Name: Some antagonists have names based on puns about their defining traits.
  • "My Sister Robbed My Fiancee! However, the person who looted it was…" [sic]: Burimi's name means "acts like [a] beauty," which coincides with her pulling a burikko act to prove she's prettier than Kanade despite being a cartoonishly Gonky Femme.
  • "Mom Friend Makes Me Pay For Her Restaurant Bill → But When I Said I Canceled My Reservation…": Kechimi's name comes from Japanese pejorative kechi, which means stingy or cheapskate, which fits her personality as a penny-pinching mother and housewife who leeches off a richer one like Haru to get free stuff.

R

• Rapid-Fire "No!": In "Her parents doted only on her younger sister, but she would learn the truth about her parents," Natsu is reduced to saying "oh no" repeatedly after Haru revealed the former was born from her mother's affair with another man.
• Rapid Hair Growth: I kept growing my hair long, but a classmate told me to cut it has Haru growing her hair much longer than it normally is, and ends up being bullied by Karin because of its length.
• Really Gets Around:
  • "Pretentious coworker with 6 boyfriends flirts with my fiancé.But it will be exposed ..." [sic]: Moka's secret affairs with six of her coworkers are exposed by Chief Kairi in response to her attempt to seduce him. Moreover, when she chewed her six lovers out, they all turn on her, leaving Moka to face Kairi's punishment.
  • "The number of people with experience was visualized. But the real meaning of this number is.." [sic]: When numbers appeared on everyone's heads, everyone was amazed at seeing Kanade's was a 36, the highest of all the class. People started to rumor it was the amount of "experience" one had, of which Erika took advantage as hers was a zero. While her mother, Teruyama, speculates it was actually the number of potential marriage partners, everyone bullied her for being supposedly promiscuous until the Soprano Boys appear with Shotae, who reveals the numbers were actually the experiences of being loved by animals.
• "The Reason You Suck" Speech:
  • In this story, when Kanade's adoptive family shows up to beg her for money after their biological daughter Milano failed to steal the former's fiancé and got pregnant as a result, she tells them:
    Kanade: You guys all told me that you didn't want me. Milano, you stole everything from me. You guys are no family to me. I worked hard to get to where I am. You guys shouldn't rely on me and work hard yourselves too.
  • After becoming a Yakuza, Ram gives her former parents and sister a blistering speech when they show up to the restaurant she and her husband Kairi owned.
    Ram: Don't be silly! I will never forget what you people did to me. I have no obligation to be merciful to you people. Don't think you'll be forgiven just by paying what you ordered!
  • In this chapter, when Junko tried to put Haru down, Narita stops her leading to this exchange (errors in original):
    Narita: Stop it. Haru-chan is not a fool at all. Pretending to talk down about yourself and pulling people down, that's a real fool. You and Haru-chan are nothing but the same.
    Junko: Hmph!! What is it with you people!! I'm done with you, Narita-senpai, you're mean!! I hate you!!
    Narita: What is up with that girl...
  • Miki chews Kanade out for outshining her and winning the contest she forced her into, only for the men in the audience to call Miki the ugly one.
    Miki: You were supposed to make me look good! Why are you standing out? I will not accept this result!
    You're plain! Don't get carried away! Right? I know you guys think so too! I have a better body than her, don't I? Right?
    Man #1: Oh no... Miki is too much... If I lose, that attitude, I'll think twice...
    Man #2: Oh, I don't remember Miki being like this...
    Man #3: If you look closely, she's not cute at all. Kanade's style is also more dominant. I'm going to change to Kanade starting today. Kanade is the moon and Miki is the tortoise. Including her personality.
    Miki: Uh, hey... I am more... you know... Lie... This is a lie... Nooooo!!
• Relationship Sabotage:
  • "My sister called me during my daughter's school event! Her shocking last hits her": Kayla went out of her way to steal potential boyfriends from her sister Erica since high school.
  • "When a beautiful woman with outstanding style takes off her mask for a meal…": Ruri goes out of her way to disrupt any chemistry between Haru and Narita because she has a crush on him. When she asked him out after driving Haru away with insults toward her body, Narita turned her down much to her chagrin.
  • "Friend Keeps Stealing My Boyfriends → So I Willingly Gave My Current Boyfriend To Her And…": Yui has a history of snatching boyfriends from her childhood friend Erica, all because she wanted to "knock Erica down a peg" for having all the attention.
  • "My sister claims she stole my husband but...I'm hanging out in the pool with him & the kids": Lemon stole Karin's latter's first boyfriend out of spite when the latter was in middle school. Moreover, she developed a grudge against Karin for getting married before her and stole her husband while she was pregnant with her younger son Shinsuke.
  • "A confident girl makes fun of me for having small breasts but when she jumps into the pool...": In their trip to the pool, Morimi seeks to disrupt any chemistry between Narita and Haru to have him all to herself. However, Ram sees through it as well and has everyone play a round of rock-paper-scissors where the loser has to jump into the pool. Morimi loses to everyone and reluctantly dives in, causing her breast pads to slip off and float in the pool.
  • "My friend looted my fiancé. Later, she learns the shocking facts at my wedding...": Azusa had sworn to herself to live a happier life than Erica while the latter suffered, and to that effect, she stole Erica's fiancé, Shuji, and became pregnant with his child. While Azusa succeeded as Erica fell into despair, she snapped out of it after meeting Baccarat, who was her Childhood Friend and got married months later.
• Rich Bitch:
  • "I work in a lunch box shop and my mom's friends are harassing me...": Lisa is the wife of an elite businessman who likes to pick on Kanade for working a part-time job.
  • "A Rich Mom Made Fun of us Who Can't Go to Sea During Summer Vacation But We Have A Home Pool" [sic]: Aya-san is a rich mother who looks down on Kanade for being poor and brags about being an elite's wife and living in a high-rise condo. The former's daughter Fumi also displays similar behavior towards the latter's daughter Onpu.
• Right Behind Me: Rui gloated about causing despair to her twin sister Ram, not realizing her kindergartener niece Haru overheard her. However, she tricks the girl into telling her what's precious to Ram.
• Rule of Pool: Stories featuring a vain female antagonist and a swimming pool as the setting or at least a plot point end up with her falling or being shoved into it, revealing she's not as beautiful as she seemed.
• Running Away to Cry:
  • "Ex girlfriend crashes the wedding ceremony, claiming she's carrying the groom's baby but" [sic]: Yuka runs off crying after her attempt to sabotage Alto and Kanade's wedding went because the former's younger brother Shion reveals the ultrasound image she used to prove she was pregnant with Alto's child actually belonged to a horse and she found in the internet.
  • "My Sister Robbed My Fiancee! However, the person who looted it was…" [sic]: Burimi runs off crying after Alto calls out her Delusions of Beauty and proclaims her sister Kanade was prettier than her.
  • "My brother's fiancée was actually a woman who made fun of me, so I exposed her": As Kawashima-san chewed Miyo out for destroying her happiness by exposing her true colors to the former's fiancé in retaliation for her bullying, the famous streamer Haru-chan reveals she is live-streaming the whole thing for 30,000 watchers, causing her to run off crying.
  • "The girl who makes a fool of me "Your makeup is terrible" → Then I removed my makeup...." [sic]: Kanade runs off crying to the bathroom after Yoshiko picked on Kanade's poorly-done makeup and escalated into pouring her drink on Kanade. However, Kanade unwittingly reveals she's pretty after returning from the bathroom to clean up her face.
  • "My friends are fooling others with makeup. When she sweats and her makeup crumbles...": Miku runs off crying after the guys see her real face after the sweat from hiking washed off her makeup and picked on her appearance and Kairi didn't even recognize her.
