153A - Accidents Will Happen
- SpongeBob begins preparing the accident report for Squidward's twisted ankle (for which he is threatening to report Mr. Krabs to the Department of Office Worker Safety unless he caters to his every whim during his recovery):SpongeBob: (reading clipboard) Let's see... "Question 1. Was the accident the result of criminal negligence?"
Krabs: AHHHHH!!
SpongeBob: Mr. Krabs, what is "criminal negligence"?
Krabs: (grabbing the clipboard and laughing nervously) It's, uh, what... criminals wear... to bed!note - Acting on Krabs' suspicions, SpongeBob tries to re-create the accident using Patrick in place of Squidward... which involves smashing him over the head repeatedly with the broken shelf that supposedly fell on Squidward. This inevitably leads to a series of Non Sequitur Thuds from Patrick.SpongeBob: This just isn't adding up!
Patrick: (covered in bandages and bruises) Pudding?
(later, after the OWS representative has arrived)
Krabs: Oh no!
Squidward: (grinning) Oh yes!
Krabs: Squidward! After all I've done for you, you called the OWS!
SpongeBob: (entering with an even more heavily-bandaged Patrick) He didn't call them Mr. Krabs, we did. I needed help investigating the accident. Right, Patrick?
Patrick: Uh, breakfast... green... Finland. - The OWS worker tells Mr. Krabs that he owes Squidward one dollar in damages. Since we are talking about Mr. Krabs here, he acts as if paying that much will ruin him.
- The ending when Mr. Krabs finds out that Squidward was faking his injury the entire time via surveillance video:Mr. Krabs: (gasps, then turns to Squidward furiously) You... f-f-f-f-f-faker! Not to mention you were sleeping on the job! (sighs deeply, forcing Squidward to the ground.)
Squidward: What are you going to do to me?
Mr. Krabs: I'm gonna make you pay.
Squidward: Oh, no! - The final scene depicts Mr. Krabs getting a back massage from Squidward, who yelps in horror when he uncovers the towel at the sight of barnacles. When Squidward starts to pop some of the barnacles on Mr. Krabs' back, he screams like hell.
153B - The Other Patty
- Plankton and Krabs (with SpongeBob's help) both try to sneak into the Flabby Patty shack. Plankton free-falls out of his parachute, crash lands through the roof, and then into Mr. Krabs's right eye hole. Cue screaming from everyone and self-harm with a shovel.
- When the two finally get a hold of the Flabby Patty secret recipe, they find out it's just a recipe for friendship, right down to the sickeningly sweet aspects of how it is "made".Plankton: Sounds like a recipe for cannibalism.
154A - Drive Thru
- This:Squidward: SpongeBob, 2 large, 2 medium, I hate my job.
- Mr. Krabs attempts to solve the problem of traffic congestion outside the Krusty Krab by bashing more holes in the wall for extra drive thru windows. This of course causes the roof to collapse.
- Mr. Krabs line before the roof falls on him is "Somebody eatin' potato chips?".
154B - The Hot Shot
- This bit at the end:
155B - Sentimental Sponge
- The French narrator's opening dialog:Narrator: Ah, the first day of spring in Bikini Bottom. The flowers are blooming, the rainbows are... how you say... bowing, the jellyfish are buzzing...
(flowers start blooming everywhere, covering SpongeBob's pineapple home)
Narrator: ...and it's time for the traditional...
SpongeBob: SPRING CLEANING!!note - Squidward's nightshirt is continuously mistaken for a dress, much to his irritation.
- Before he gets rid of his junk, SpongeBob takes pictures of them:SpongeBob: (to the junk) Say "barnacles!" That's it. Working. Nice! Very nice! Now be angry. Amazing, now be pouty! Now, smile!
- Unfortunately for both SpongeBob and Squidward (but mostly Squidward), the former had taken so many pictures of his junk that he ran out of room for them in his house and filled up Squidward's house with them, too.
156 - Frozen Face-Off
- While everyone else is out lost in the snow, Plankton is in the Krusty Krab, trying desperately to break open the safe in which Mr. Krabs keeps the Secret Formula. After countless attempts to open the ludicrously durable safe fail, Plankton snaps and starts trying to tear it apart with his bare hands, "bit by bit (tears a tiny chunk of the safe in two)! Molecule by molecule (snaps a cartoon molecule in two)!" But then... "Atom by atom! (snap-in-two)" Plankton realizes his mistake right before we're treated to live-action footage of a nuclear explosion, à la the 'exploding pie' scene from "Dying For Pie". This does, at least, finally open the safe.
- The part where the gang is huddled around a fire, while Squidward is frozen in a block of ice:
157B - Oral Report
- The zombie customers.
- SpongeBob asking Patrick for help on his oral report. Patrick's unhelpfulness in attempting to replicate SpongeBob's class is funny enough, but what really makes it funny is when Patrick inexplicably dresses up like Mrs. Puff herself at the end.
- SpongeBob is apparently diagnosed with Oral Report-itis. According to Sandy, fish who develop such would eventually explode.
- When SpongeBob puts on the underwear goggles, he says it doesn't work. Sandy then says, "Of course it doesn't. I'm only wearing my undies" and tells SpongeBob to see if they work on Patrick. He looks at Patrick and is visibly disgusted and says that the googles work. This implies that Patrick's underwear could be soiled with urine, feces, or both.
162 - Ghoul Fools
- While in the void, Patrick's form of torture is a donut who is stuck far up on his head, and Patrick cannot reach it. The donut asks what flavor Patrick would like him to be, and then..(after many changes of what Patrick wants the donut to be)
Patrick: I'll have...a plain donut!
Donut: NOOOOOO!!! - SpongeBob holding onto a table all wrapped up in Patrick's tongue, yelling at a customer "EW! EW! EW! EW!"
- This:Lord Poltergeist: Why, you scurvy little scum-scrubber! You've ruined everything!
Squidward: Welcome to my world.
163A - Mermaid Man Begins
- Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy gets hit by a variety of things that should mutate, if not kill regular people. But what ultimately turns them into what they are is overcooked popcorn.
- At the end of the episode, SpongeBob and Patrick try to replicate the accident so that they can get superpowers from overcooked popcorn, too. Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy desperately try to stop the two while insisting that they are not superhero material.
163B - Plankton's Good Eye
- The beginning where Mr. Krabs puts a stack of dollars to sleep in a tiny bed in the vault and pours them a tiny cup of water.
- How SpongeBob apparently sees the world. Explains a lot, doesn't it?
- There's just something so oddly amusing about Plankton's first attempt at getting a second eye. "I can see everything!"
164B - Pet Sitter Pat
- SpongeBob's grandma struggling to blow out her birthday candles.
165A - House Sittin' for Sandy
- Sandy's robots wrecking the treedome apart.
- The robot destroys Sandy's ray gun.
166A - Bubble Troubles
- SpongeBob comes up with a plan to save Sandy from oxygen deprivation by blowing a giant bubble to capture air from above water. His plan to get up there?Patrick: But how are you gonna get up there?
SpongeBob: Well, I'll use this tank of oxygen as a makeshift rocket!
Patrick: An oxygen tank?! (Beat) Great idea, buddy!
167A - The Krabby Patty That Ate Bikini Bottom
- When Sandy uses her growth serum on a Krabby Patty, Mr Krabs asks why the serum smells so bad. Sandy abruptly excuses herself to go to the "little squirrel's room". The implication that Sandy farted is so unexpected, it's hilarious.
167B - Bubble Buddy Returns
- When Shiny is going to the Scissor Works, SpongeBob goes in there to save him. When he went in there, he gets cut by scissors. Then when he saved him, he assumed he and Shiny have escaped from harm, but he turned into a million pieces.
168A - Restraining SpongeBob
- Squidward falling into the deep fryer, turning him into a giant crispy nugget that a customer unknowingly bites into.
- Squidward says "Patrick! Patrick! Patrick! Patrick!" over and over.
- "How long do you want to live?"
- "SpongeBob, it's EMPTY!! See?! Empty!"
168B - Fiasco!
- Fiasco the artist.
- During SpongeBob's commercial pitch, the camera zooms out to the storyboard. Turns out, it's the episode's storyboard, with the panels following the one that SpongeBob's currently on depicting events that are about to happen in a few seconds.
169A - Are You Happy Now?
- Fiasco the artist, again.
- This:Customer: Hey, I'd like to order a Krabby Patty.
Squidward: (bursts into tears)
169B - Planet of the Jellyfish
- The Jelliens themselves are not this at all by a landslide, but the way they're defeated is, especially with a bit of Fridge Brilliance in mind when watching the episode the second time. The reason why they tell themselves and everyone else to hold the mayonnaise and appeared to try and make it outlawed? It's because their kind's Weaksauce Weakness is a literal weaksauce in the form of mayonnaise.
170A - Free Samples
- During the scene where Plankton is giving away chum patties disguised as free Krabby Patties, everyone understandably collapses from how disgusting they are. And then we see one guy who actually likes the chum, but upon seeing everyone on the ground, he chooses to faint with them.
- When Plankton is passing off chum-shaped krabby patties as the real deal and the customers are suspicious:Male fish: Hey, wait a minute! Aren't you the same guy who was giving away those rotten chum samples before?
Plankton: [sweats nervously] Oh, that wasn't me, that was... uh... my... brother-in-law! Yeah, er... Flankton!
Male fish: Oh, okay. - The fact that Patrick, of all characters, was the only one of the customers who enjoyed eating the chum.
- Squidward acting as an Organ Grinder monkey.
- And how does SpongeBob win back the customers? He makes new krabby patties... which are just the original patties under a new name with a different taste.
170B - Home Sweet Rubble
- Patrick's office dream.
171A - Karen 2.0
- Karen is aghast to find out that Plankton has created a new computer wife to replace her:Karen: After all I've done for you, you dumped me for this cheap pile of plastic?!
Plankton: Well, I had to cut cost somewhere.
171B - InSPONGEiac
- Patrick singing "Get up, be active."
- When Patrick bit SpongeBob because he thought he was a sponge cake, SpongeBob said "Oh yuck!".
172A - Face Freeze!
- The ending, having Mr Krabs and Squidward having such extreme reactions to SpongeBob and Patrick's face freeze it leads to them catching it themselves (Mr Krabs contorts his face in a rage over losing customers while Squidward goes into a laughing fit from seeing the results).
- "You two need help."
172B - Glove World R.I.P.
- The way Patrick looks in the glove costume.
- When SpongeBob and Patrick realizes that the manager is going to close Glove World, they scream NO! for seconds long, then the manager tries to calm them down, but they do it again!
- During the Glove Drop scene, the glove pushed the cart to the very ground, causing the riders including SpongeBob and Patrick to get hurt!
- During the Glove Boat scene, when SpongeBob and Patrick got on the ride, they weakly say "Whee!" and when the ride starts, the Boat has turned upside down, causing the riders including SpongeBob and Patrick to get hurt again!
- While SpongeBob was questioning why Glove World must close, the riders on a roller coaster went off the tracks and got hurt!
- When SpongeBob and Patrick has to jump off the Ferris Wheel, Patrick doesn't jump because he's allergic to jumping and after that, SpongeBob hits the ground on his face!
- When an elder try the new and improved Hall of Mirrors and when SpongeBob has turned into an elder, what does she react?Elder and SpongeBob: HEY! What kind of mirror is this?!
(She punches SpongeBob in the face)
Elder: I rather close this place down. - When a kid sees the mascot of Glove World, he kicks his foot, which leads to him quitting as a mascot of Glove World!
- When Patrick becomes the mascot of Glove World, he scares a kid while eating his ice cream, he cutted in line, and he stole a kid's ice cream after he scared him, which leads to him spitting it out in front of the guests!
- SpongeBob trying to fix Glove World. ALL OF IT!
- When SpongeBob realizes the Glove Swing is slowing down, he wants to make it faster. So, he set the level from Slow to Fastest, which leads to the ride going so fast that the riders lose their clothes.
- Lastly, we have the riders on a roller coaster went off the tracks again, but this time they're flying off the seats. So, SpongeBob pushes the tall Glove line to save the riders, but when the riders landed safely, it got broken causing the riders to get hurt again which leads to SpongeBob walking away.
- Then there's the scene where Patrick is chasing a bunch of guests holding a giant wooden mallet in the glove costume with just a regular expression on his face.
173A - Squiditis
- Squidward is shown relaxing, listening to a song on a record player, wearing an umbrella hat and is about to drink what appears to be orange juice. But then he hears that SpongeBob is next to him, causing him to do a Spit Take that blows away his record player, hat and Gossip magazine.
- Mr. Krabs' reaction to the romantic comedy, mainly because it's just so out of nowhere.
- You gotta put on the stingy boss façade somehow.Squidward: But, Mr. Krabs-...
Mr. Krabs: Mr. Krabs nothing!
Squidward: But, I-...
Mr. Krabs: Mr. Krabs nothing!
Squidward: But-...
Mr. Krabs: Mr. Krabs nothing! ...Just go ahead. I'm gonna keep saying it.
173B - Demolition Doofus
- Mrs. Puff's Imagine Spot where SpongeBob is smashed by thugs and replaced by a gravestone.
- All of SpongeBob's reckless driving methods ironically causing the other racers to crash or be eliminated.
- This gem:
174A - Treats!
- The commercial at the beginning (all they ever say is "Snail Bites" over and over again.)
- Gary acting crazy over the Snail Bites. In fact, when SpongeBob is heading out the door to go to work, Gary is blocking the way, looking absolutely demented and holding the empty box of Snail Bites. SpongeBob tries to open the door and Gary snarls each time he tries.
- How does Gary finally stop? When all SpongeBob does is just say "no".
- Before this moment, Gary tries to bribe SpongeBob one last time by giving him a picture of when SpongeBob first got him at the pound. He is touched by this, but then realizes everything.
- Patrick eats the last known box of Snail Bites and starts meowing very loud like a snail.
- The guard at the Snail Bites factory misspelling "closed" after asking SpongeBob if he needs to spell it out.
- SpongeBob mentioning repeatedly he just can't say no to his "widdle Gare-Bear."
- Gary suddenly showing up at the Krusty Krab, interfering with SpongeBob's job.SpongeBob: Gary, what are you doing here? YOU'RE CAUSING A SCENE!!!!!!
(Everyone in the entire restaurant stops what they're doing and stare at SpongeBob.)
174B - For Here or to Go
- The beginning where SpongeBob blows a horn. When Mr. Krabs gets out of his office to get the customers attention, SpongeBob is still blowing a horn, causing Mr. Krabs to beat him up to make him stop!
- After Mr. Krabs tells the customers they're having a bun seed counting contest, Mr. Krabs tells them if they win, they will have a Free Krabby Patty, but Mr. Krabs is too nervous to speak, and when SpongeBob slaps him, he said it.
- When the contest starts, the customers try to guess what how many are there. The first customer simply guessed 3, the second customer looks at it very close and guessed 42, the third customer sniffs at it and guessed billions and billions, the fourth customer just puts the jar in her mouth and chews it, puts it back and guessed blue, and lastly, the fifth customer just guessed Mermaid Ned.Mr. Krabs: That's not even a number.
176B - Chum Fricassee
- During the riot after the chum was revealed to be undercooked, one fish pulls out the napkins one by one for seemingly no reason.Plankton: NOT THE NAPKINS!!!!
177A - The Good Krabby Name
- Patrick takes SpongeBob to a cliff, saying that he's hired a skywriter. Then a guy falls from the sky, writing "Help Me!" on a clipboard. Patrick regrets his decision saying he somehow thought it would be more effective.
- After seeing one too many Krusty Krab advertisements a guy states that if he sees the words "Krusty Krab" again he'll scream. SpongeBob and Patrick then crash an advertising blimp and upon seeing it he takes a deep inhale, sucking off the duo's skins in the process, then lets out a long scream giving them each other's skin.
