David William Frederick Lodge, (19 August 1921 — 18 October 2003), was a British character actor.

He made his screen debut in The Cockleshell Heroes and would go on to appear in more films after, often Typecast into military or comedic roles including I Only Arsked! and Two-Way Stretch. He was also close friends with Peter Sellers and Spike Milligan, working with them in many of their films and TV series.

Lodge also notably appeared in five Carry On films and several episodes of Carry on Laughing!. Other notable TV appearances Lodge made include episodes of The Avengers (1960s), Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), It Ain't Half Hot, Mum, and Bless This House.

Lodge was a member of Grand Order of Water Rats and in 1990 became the head of the charity for that year, a position nicknamed the "King Rat".

He passed away at the age of 82.
