Sapphire Night

Sapphire Night is an artist and student at Canterlot High and she's the main villain in Magical Mayhem. Then friend turned girlfriend to Wallflower Blush.
- Art Attacker: she uses her Equestrian Magic infected paint brush to create evil clones of the Rainbooms and uses them to turn the real Rainbooms against each other and ruin their good name.
- The Bad Guy Wins: She succeeded in her plan to destroy the Rainbooms friendship and their good name by using the evil clones she drew by having them cause confusion and chaos. Her success is short-lived however.
- Beautiful Singing Voice: Sapphire can sing just a great as she can paint.
- Character Development: Like Sunset, and others after her, Sapphire Night also get's reformed. She also develops romantic feelings for Wallflower Blush, eventually working up the courage to tell her.
- Foreshadowing: When Blade is infected by Equestrian Magic, making any girl who sees him fall madly in love with him, Sapphire is not effected because she's not into boys...
- Official Couple: This eventually leads her into entering a relationship with Wallflower Blush.
Shark/Swift Wing

The bad boy of the Viper Kai dojo and Lancer’s former best friend turned bully. He appears in Magical Mayhem and in Viper Kai where he reforms.
- Berserk Button: Do not insult him or bring up embarrassing moments he's had or he WILL beat you up. Lancer and Zach learned this the hard way, twice with the former.
- The Brute: Rarity calls him this in Magical Mayhem after he punches Zach for calling him dirty. Mikey states he's more brutish than Raph, the hot headed turtle himself even agrees.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Delivers three very brutal ones to Lancer in Magical Mayhem. And in Viper Kai, he snaps his arm.
- Expy: His appearance and story are based off Eli "Hawk" Moskowiz from Cobra Kai.
- Heel–Face Turn: In Viper Kai, he finally sees what his uncle's teachings have turned him into and helps the Young Ninjas fight off the bullies, quits Viper Kai and joins the heroes, and rekindles his friendship with Lancer.
- Locked Out of the Loop: When Diamond Tiara calls him out for bullying her cousin Lancer, he uses this excuse. It doesn't help.
- My God, What Have I Done?: After he breaks Lancer's arm and leaves him and his friends in pain, he shows signs of this.
- Never My Fault: He thinks that beating up anyone who crosses him is justifiable, while failing to acknowledge that he starts those confrontations by being a jerk to them.
- Oh, Crap!: His reaction when his girlfriend, Diamond Tiara, tells him that Lancer, the guy he's been bullying, is in fact her cousin, who she's very close with.
- Used To Bea Sweet Kid: He was once a nice guy and Lancer's best friend. But when he started training with his uncle, he became rude, violent, and began pushing Lancer around.
- What the Hell, Hero?: In Magical Mayhem, Diamond Tiara breaks up with him for bullying her cousin. She even slaps him. In Viper Kai, Babs Seed tells him off for breaking Lancer's arm and beating up her cousin Apple Bloom and her friends.
Rock N Beats
As a whole
"Yep, we're The Rock N Beats. And we're no Rainbooms, but we're pretty cool."
- Adaptational Name Change: Was called The Rockin' Beats in My Little Pony Tales. Here, their known as The Rock N Beats.
- Boy Band: subverted, as Ace, Lancer, and Logan are the only boy members of the band. The rest are all girls.
- Girl Group: subverted, as while the band is mostly girls, Ace, Lancer, and Logan are part of the band.
Lancer
Lancer is Bright Eyes friend and love interest from Magical Mayhem and the lead guitarist in the Rock N Beats band.
- Bullying the Dragon: He embarrasses Shark twice and pays the price as Shark viciously beats him up.
- Crash-Into Hello: How he and his pony counterpart meets Bright Eyes.
- Nice Guy: Like his 90s interaction, Lancer is friendly, caring, forgiving, and will call someone out for their wrong doings.
- Not So Above It All: Dispite being the previous trope above, Lancer can act out of pride at few times and joined his friends in teasing Sweetheart about being scared in Equestria Ninja Girls Spooky Stories II.
- Mythology Gag: Like his 90s incarnation, he's a nice guy who's wealthy and a skater. And he also has a crush on Bright Eyes and vise versa.
- Related in the Adaptation: In My Little Pony Tales he and the one off character, Logan Barrington, weren't related. In here, their brothers.
- Ship Tease: He and Bright Eyes get this from Mikey and their friends.
Melody
Melody is the lead singer and drummer of the Rock N Beats band.
- Big Sister Bully: She likes teasing Sweetheart and often thinks she's boring.
- Big Sister Instinct: Despite the trope above, Melody can be very protective of her sister.
- Expy: Her outfit and her being a drummer is based off Gwen Stacy from Marvel's Rising.
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: Melody is the more reckless and lively sibling than Sweetheart.
- Lead Drummer: She's both the lead singer and the drummer of the Rock N Beats.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Melody is the red oni to Sweetheart's blue.
- RelatedintheAdaptation: She and Sweetheart are sisters here, where as in My Little Pony Tales, they were unrelated.
Sweetheart
Sweetheart is Melody's younger sister and the keytar player in the Rock N Beats band.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Like her 90s incarnation, Sweetheart can be pretty devious and cunning when pushed too far. A big example of this is Equestria Ninja Girls Spooky Stories II, where her friends constantly tease her for being scared and she get's even by orchestrating an epic scare that not only terrifies them, but also causes the Turtles, Rainbooms, and their allies all faint.
- Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: Sweetheart is the more responsible sibling than Melody.
- Nice Girl: Sweetheart is kind, sweet, caring, and volunteers at the animal shelter where Fluttershy works.
- Not So Above It All: Just like Lancer, Sweetheart can act out of pride when she's made fun of by Melody and goes to some pretty great leigns to prove her wrong.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Sweetheart is the blue on to Melody's red.
Hollow Shades High Students
The Color Strikes
The Color Strikes are an acapella group and the arch rivials to the Rainbooms.
The Who Group
"They're called The Color Strikes, and don't be fooled by their sweet vocals. They're the worst!"
- Bait-and-Switch: After hearing the Turtles and Rainbooms speech about their friendship, Lip Sinker says it's touching before the whole group calls them lame.
- Didn'tThinkThisThrough: The Color Strikes attempted to use Equestrian Magic to cheat at the pet show, but it backfires on them, when they accidentally infect Lucky Shot, who turns into a weredog and starts terring up the show.
- Evil Counterpart: Of the Rainbooms. And the Shadowbolts after they reformed.
- Eviler than Thou: They are twice as mean as the Shadowbolts, even insulting the said girls. And unlike them, the Color Strikes were willing to cheat and sabotage to win.
- Fire-Forged Friends: Both they and the Rainbooms started off as arch rivials, but eventually become friends, starting with Lucky Shot and the Hollow Shades Music Club.
- Girl Group: Like the Rainbooms, they too are a band but are acapella and have more and two male members of their group.
- Nice Girl: Afromia doesn't insult Vinyl Scratch during their first meet. She also doesn't seem to enjoy being mean towards the Rainbooms.
- Nice Guy: Pinecone Shores is actually friendly towards the Rainbooms and Timber Spruce. Lucky Shot becomes one after the Color Strikes cheating attempt backfires.
- "Reason You Suck" Speech: Each member insults, mocks, or belittles each of the Rainbooms and their friends.
- Belle Harmony calls Twilight naive and proves it with the what's on your shirt trick.
- Botanica mocks Fluttershy for having stage fright and compares her to a mouse.
- Hot Buns makes fun of Pinkie's baking.
- Peach Cream calls apples gross and claims peaches are better, infuriating Applejack.
- Color Kick accuses Rainbow Dash of stealing her hair color and claims she's better at sports then her.
- Phasioner says Rarity's fashion line up is child's play compared to hers and even tricks Rarity into admitting it.
- Lightning Crash tells Flash that it's too bad he let the girl of his dreams get away and let her fall for a giant turtle. Not only does this make Flash mad but also Leonardo.
- Suddenly Speaking: Like with dog Spike, Lucky Shot is granted the ability to talk, through Equestrian Magic.
- The Atoner: Lucky Shot retires from competing after his weredog experience and even tells the Color Strikes that their cheating attempt could've had other casualties had the magic hit one of the other pets instead. Afterwards, he and Spike both seem to be on good terms now.
- The Rival: To the Rainbooms.
- Token Good Teammate: Afromia is the only member who doesn't insult the Rainbooms. So is Pinecone Shores. And Lucky Shot becomes this after his weredog experience.
Lip Sinker
"Alright, allow me to introduce ourselves. I'm Lip Sinker, and this is my crew."
- Alpha Bitch: She the leader of the Color Strikes and was rude towards Caitlyn, Sunset, and their friends. Comparing Caitlyn's singing to a sick cat. Calls Sunset a washup of her former self. Belittles the Rock N Beats. And questions why the Rainbooms are friends with mutant turtles.
- Berserk Button: Get's angry when Caitlyn remarks about her makeup.
- Broken Pedestal: She was motivated by Sunset was she was queen of CHS, but that quickly diminished once she reformed. Lip Sinker even calls her washed up.
- Evil Counterpart: She's one to Sunset Shimmer. Both are leaders of their respective friendship groups, but unlike Sunset, she doesn't learn from her mistakes or takes responsibility for them.
- Fantasy Racism: She shows shades of this toward the Turtles when questioning why the Rainbooms would be friends with mutants.
- Never My Fault: When she and the Color Strikes are called out for their cheating attempt when it backfires, she pins the blame on Caitlyn (who admittedly did cause the situation), ignoring the fact that they hand in it, since they had the jar of Equestrian Magic to begin with and were going to dump it on the other pets. She also refuses to clean up the mess under the grounds that there's no proof, that is until Caitlyn shows video proof.
Belle Harmony

- Anti-Villain: While she was mean towards Spike and the Turtles' pets, she clearly loves Lucky Shot and became horrified when Equestrian Magic turned him into him into a weredog.
- Deadpan Snarker: While most of the girls are this, Belle is the snarkiest. She makes rude remarks to not only the Rainbooms and their friends, but even Spike, Ice Cream Kitty, and Chompy as well.
- Evil Counterpart: She is this to human Twilight Sparkle. Both are smart, wear glasses, and have pet dogs. But Belle is arrogant, snarky, rude, and tactless.
- Expy: She shares her first name and hairstyle with Belle from Beauty and the Beast. She even has a rose insignia on her shirt.
- Jerkass Has a Point: When she says that Twilight is naive, Twilight argues she's not, until Belle points out to some of Rainbow Dash's prank videos about her where she falls for it every time. When Twilight persists that she isn't naive, Belle pulls the old 'what's on her shirt' trick and she falls for it, proving Belle right.Belle Harmony: Tested 100% positive, your naive.
- Kick the Dog: She calls Spike a runt and Ice Cream Kitty & Chompy abominations. She also sabotages the obstacle course having no qualms if Spike got hurt.
- Nerdy Bully: She's a brainiac and is quite snarky and very rude.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Raph and Twilight call her and her friends out for their cheating attempt. And later, after getting his voice, her own dog Lucky Shot does the same, stating that someone could have gotten hurt.
Botanica

- Agony of the Feet: Caitlyn stomped on her foot, while she and Phasinore where restraining her. And it definitely hurt due to her foot not being covered.
- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: While she may look sweet, she's actually pretty mean.
- Copycat Mockery: Does this to Fluttershy about her stange fright, comparing her to a mouse.Botanica: Eep eep eep, they're all looking at me! Eep eep eep, stop looking at me! Eep eep eep, make them stop looking at me!
- Evil Counterpart: To Fluttershy. Both are nature lovers, but while Fluttershy is sweet and kind, Botanica is almost the complete opposite.
- Granola Girl
- Pitiful Worms: Botanica compares Fluttershy to a mouse, even squeaking like one when mocking her.
- Tempting Fate: After the Color Strikes reveal their cheating plan, she gives Caitlyn the old "And what are you gonna do about it?" Que Caitlyn stomping on her not covered foot.
Hot Buns

- Bait-and-Switch: Pulls this on Pinkie Pie when she says her baking in good... for amateurs, making her mad.
- Evil Counterpart: To Pinkie Pie. Both girls are bakers, both dress similarly, and both have big poofy hair. But Hot Buns thinks baking cupcakes and sweets is lame.
Peach Cream
- Bait-and-Switch: She and her younger brother, Cary Mac, pull one of the Apple Family by tricking them into eating one of their peach cobblers, without realizing it came from them, who they despise.
- Competition Freak: She's just as competitive as Applejack, basically filling in Rainbow Dash's role as her rival, albeit in a more antagonist way.
- Enemy Mine: After discovering that the Flim Flam Brothers set her and her family up, she briefly teams up with Applejack and her family to get revenge on the swindlers.
- Evil Counterpart: To Applejack. Both girls are famers, both have families, both work hard to make their home grown fruits perfect, and both are very competitive. But Peach Cream is mean and is not above sabotaging the competition.
- The Bus Came Back: After her debut in The Pet Show Disaster, Peach Cream returns in Apples vs Peaches where she and her whole family engage the Apple Family in a farmer's market war.
- The Pawn: She and her family were this to the Flim Flam Brothers, when they tricked them into competing against the Apple Family so the two con men could steal all their costumers. And it worked!
Color Kick
- Evil Counterpart: To Rainbow Dash. Both are sports lovers and both are have rainbow colored hair. But Color Kick is more arrogant and antagonistic toward her rivals.
Lucky Shot

Lucky Shot is Belle Harmony's dog and the former champion of the Canterlot Pet Show.
- Heel–Face Turn: Does this after some spilled Equestrian Magic turns him into a weredog, seeing where all the competing lead him and retires from pet shows all together and seems to be on better terms with Spike.
- Suddenly Voiced: Like Spike, Equestrian Magic grants Lucky Shot the ability to talk.
Hollow Shades Music Club
The Hollow Shades Music Club or HMC for short, are the younger counterparts to the Color Strikes. They were one off rivials to CMC and in the end became friends with them.
Left to right: Bluebelle, Atalanta, and Peach Blossom.
- Expy: Of the Canterlot Movie Club.
- Fire-Forged Friends: They were rivials to the CMC, but after seeing the chaos caused by the Apple and Peach Family rivalry, and later helping them and the Apples take down the Flim Flam Brothers, they apologize for they're behavior and the two groups become friends.
- Garage Band: They have a band and unlike the CMC, are actually very good.
- Heel Realization: Like Lucky Shot, the three realize that fighting with the CMC is pointless and made them no better then the Color Strikes, and apologized to the three and befriended them.
- Pet the Dog: They let the CMC play with them in their band.
