This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

YMMV.Tumblr still has some serious issues, including Abandon Shipping, a ton of stuff on Broken Base and Scrappy Mechanic, Troll, and "Stop Having Fun" Guys. Memetic Badass might also need to be looked at.

Please lock the SPV 3 page (https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Videogame/SPV3) until the final version of the mod has released (~August 25th). Currently, the only source of information is from Masterz 1337's Discord and Beta Testing streams, and the content featured is constantly changing and impacts the page as new/recent edits become repeatedly outdated. Once the final version mod has released, Masterz has stated that he will move on from it and that it will not receive any further updates, which should make future edits to the page more accurate at that time forward.

I'll be specific: SPV 3 has already been released to the public, but so far it's only the first half of the Campaign (the first 5 levels + a remake of the 4th). I'm only referring to the next update, which will include the second half of the campaign alongside modifications to the first half. The only information about the second half comes from Masterz' Beta Streams and the official discord, and the information that is presented tends to become outdated rather quickly. Rather than create a bunch of small edits every time a minor change is announced, it'd be better to lock the article until SPV 3.1 (the final version) is released. If the release date turns out to be earlier/later than the current projected date, I will ensure to notify this channel of the change
