This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

A couple of edit requests, most uncontroversial, one a bit less so:
- I Read That As's subpages (they are listed on the page) need to be added to Hyphenated Titles.
- Wick Namespace Migration needs the Game Of Thrones entry removed.
- Useful Notes Pages In Main needs Nightcore removed - from what I gather, it's more a trope/genre than Useful Notes material. The mythology pages are ill-placed on that page too but I'll need more commentary in the Suggesting New Namespaces thread before they can be removed.
Example for False Rape Accusation, under Fan Works (will need new folder)
- In the Emergency! fic "The Long Road back", a woman with a history of such claims does this to John Gage. They are seen fighting, but it is realized he was trying to push her away as she nearly raped him in a sense. her previous victims resigned, went to jail or committed suicide, but she gets so obsessed with John that she kidnaps him and he later finds the courage to testify so she'll go to jail.
On the Teen Wolf Characters page I want to link the "Deucalion (portrayed by Gideon Emery" to, well, Gideon Emery. The markup would be "Deucalion (portrayed by Gideon Emery)" , I think.
Also, I just moved his namespace from Main to Creators so it should be removed from Creator Pages In Main page, too.

- Terminator: Skynet is a malevolent, megalomaniacal AI whose first action upon gaining full sentience was Judgment Day, a nuclear genocide designed to wipe out humanity and assure its own ascension. - Runaway: Dr. Charles Luther is a genius roboticist and hacker who creates spiderbot assassins, a gun with heat-seeking bullets, and a chip that can turn any regular robot into a killer robot; all for sale on the black market to the highest bidder. Luther kills almost everyone he encounters over the course of the movie in increasingly brutal fashion. Additionally, he regularly beats his girlfriend, tries to kill her when she's taken by the police to keep her from talking, and ultimately puts a knife through her skull the second she is returned to him as part of a hostage exchange. His final encounter with Sgt. Jack Ramsay is designed to psychologically torture the cop as much as possible - he kidnaps his son Bobbie, sets up the exchange on top of a high rise to play to Ramsay's acrophobia and vertigo, then releases Bobbie - only to inform Ramsay that his robots are waiting to kill the first person who exits the building.

- Under the "Pokemon Blackand White The Movie" bullet in the "Pages locked for being cut then recreated" folder, there could be some mention that people were very likely looking for "Pokémon: The Movie Black/White".
- Within the same folder, Frying The Coke's text could be edited to include some mention to The Nostalgia Critic, as it was his Double Team video that tried to introduce the whole "Frying the Coke" meme.
