I could have a long biographical paragraph, but why not let the tropes speak for me?
- Afraid of Needles (Not a case that warrants it being called a bonefied -phobia, since I can tolerate most needles and shots... but it is the main reason why I don't have a lip ring, a nose stud, a septum, or an eyebrow piercing.)
- Ambiguously Brown (I'm light brown (as mentioned below) with curly, negroid hair, so it's obvious to most people that at least one of my parents is of African ancestry. What bugs some people is whether or not both of my parents are African in ancestry, since I have other distinguishing characteristics that brings my heritage to question...)
- Brutal Honesty (Hey, somethings have got to be said... coward.)
- But Not Too Black (Light-skinned, rock music loving, and goth; therefore, I'm accused of being a race traitor.)
- Byronic Hero
- Celibate Hero
- Creepy Monotone (People say that I often speak in a dry and flat voice. Hm. Oh well. It makes sarcasm more effective.)
- Cultural Rebel
- Dandere
- Deadpan Snarker
- Gamer Chick
- Goth
- Elegant Gothic Lolita (More on the Elegant Gothic Aristocrat side)
- Perky Goth (In style only)
- Hates Everyone Equally (That's true equality for you.)
- Hates Small Talk (It's USELESS.)
- Jerkass
- Morality Pet (To my best friend.)
- Multicolored Hair (Is turqouise for the time being. Was several shades of purple earlier. Might be pink next year.)
- Outdoorsy Gal (For as long as I can remember, I've always been at home in nature and in the woods. I love nature, so much so that I'm a self designated...)
- Nature Hero (My quest is to save the animals!)
- The Quiet One (In my two circles of friends, I'm the silent observer who throws in deadpan commentary every once in awhile and tries to be the voice of reason, even if the idiots never heed my advice.)
- Race Traitor (I've been accused of this for my likes and dislikes, e.g. I listen to more rock and metal than R&B and hip-hop.)
- Sassy Black Woman (Averted for the most part. I have my moments thought.)
- Scholarship Student (Not for very long after the end of Winter semester...)
- She Cleans Up Nicely (I can go from being a rough and tumble tomboy when on nature walks and expeditions to my more elegant gothic form.)
- Strange Girl (Strange and lovin' it like a veggie pattie on some spaghetti!)
- Tomboy
- One of the Boys (I was this when I was younger, being one of the only young girls in my neighborhood with an older brother and a dad who looked after me most of the time.)
- Weird Dude Magnet (Even my best friend is aware that I attract some of the weirdest men. In the bad way.)
Tropes that have been a part of my life's story thus far:
- All Girls Like Ponies (And I still do. I mean, I like horses AND ponies, and I'm not afraid to admit that I still want one, even though I'm in my twenties.)
- All Hallows Eve (My favorite time of year next to Walpurgisnacht.)
- All Women Are Lustful (Averted. Sex is of very little concern for me, nor do I actively look for a boyfriend.)
- Chicks Before Dicks (Me and my best friend put our friendship ahead of any guy we - more likely she for reasons stated above - meet.)
- Crowning Moment Of Indifference (What? I got accepted into two colleges? Meh.)
- Deathbringer the Adorable (I have a tendency of naming my guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, etc. weird and downright scary names. Most memorable were Heartburn the Guinea Pig and Bonecrusher the Bunny.)
- Does Not Like Men (It's not that I don't like guys, but a majority do annoy the hell out of me. But then again, a lot more chicks piss me off as well.)
- Heterosexual Life-Partner (With my best friend.)
- I Have Boobs, You Must Obey! / My Eyes Are Up Here (I admit: the Male Gaze is often annoying if not downright creepy, but it does serve as an advantage if you want to get into the art museum for free...)
- I Hate Past Me (I'd give anything to make the past me more like the present me.... *Sigh*)
- Overshadowed by Awesome (Even if both me and my brother are into nature and animals, my brother gets all the credit and people always talk about all the ventures he goes on - in to the point where he gets credit for some stuff that I friggin did on our excursions.)
- Madonna-Whore Complex (It's zigzagged, more or less. Some people assume that because I'm goth (and therefore, I wear some taboo clothing garments) means that I'm easy. However, some people are often surprised, even to the point of going into denial, when I mention that I'm an open virgin.)
- Motor City (Where I hail from. Unfortunately.)
- Periphery Demographic (Aside the fact that a lot of stuff I read and watch are often dark, gritty, and downright gloomy, which suites my gothic tastes just fine, most of it is intended to be aimed toward guys of an older audience. Why do they get all of the good stuff?!)
- Screw the Rules, I'm Beautiful! (Refer to I Have Boobs, You Must Obey! above.)
- Seinfeldian Conversation (Nearly all conversations between me and my equally absurd best friend revolve around making extreme and literal discussions out of absolutely nothing.)
