  • Accel World VS Sword Art Online: Millenium Twilight: Persona Vabel, the Twilight Witch is a future version of Yui, Kirito and Asuna's AI daugther who decides to erase herself after countless years of loneliness. Using her powers to travel to the past alongside Chrome Disaster, Vabel creates data copies of the Kings of Pure Color that she controls and leaks Brain Burst data to Alfheim Online, throwing the latter VR world into chaos to activate its manual consoles. Inside ALO, Vabel manipulates Kuroyukuhime into fighting Kirito and kidnaps Yui to seal her. When Nega Nebulus and Kirito's friends join forces, Vabel unleashes a loyal Chrome Disaster to deal with them, showing friendship with the bloodsthirsty beast and when the protagonists finally reach her, Vabel uses the now-active console to erase Yui's data and return to her era, expecting to be erased while being aware that her erasure would also erase other A.I.s. When the protagonists manage to reach her in the future thanks to help from the Cardinal System, Yui uses the Armor of Catastrophe to fight them and after her defeat, she apologizes Kirito for her actions.

For Magnificent Bastard.

However, in 2011, Cars 2 got a G rating, despite having intense violence on par with The Incredibles. In 2017, Cars 3 was also rated G despite having slightly more mature content than the first film.

Chapter 27 of Deceit has been added today, and I want to add this before I take my big break:

  • Asshole Victim: When attempting to murder Lance and Zayne, Kenzi is stabbed all the way through her torso by Zayne with his brother's knife. She is even fully alive when she sees the blade sticking out from her chest and feels the base on her back. She is finally killed off, after all she had done, such as forcing Cujo to tamper with Zayla's drink to induce a Tragic Stillbirth in her and sabotaging Cujo's mate's childbirth, which results in his daughter's death and his mate becoming infertile.

Madness Combat - Character (Jebus)

  • Combo Platter Powers: All of his powers come from his halo, but there is no thematic between them. He have super strenght, flight, telekinesis, can spawn weapons, shoot desintegrating beams, turn dead people into zombies at his command, teleport, shoot electricity and he have four differents kind of magic shields.
  • New Powers as the Plot Demands: In Inundation, he can shoot desintegrating beams from his eyes or his hands, which is something he never did before.

Henry Stickmin Series - Character (Thomas Chestershire)

  • Off-Model: His hat is shorter in Complex than in Airship. It goes back to it's original size in Mission.

Epic Battle Fantasy - Trivia

  • Official Fan-Submitted Content: Many foes in the games are designed by fans at the demand of Matt Roszak. There are so many fan submitted foes that making a list would be too long.
(Note: I'm not sure of the importance of the second sentence)

Tintin - Character (Emir Mohammed Ben Kalish Ezab)

  • Informed Attribute: Senhor Oliveira da Figueira descibes him has being a good man, but while he's on Tintin's side, he's fine with torturing his enemies to death while thinking trials are too complicated and is apathetic about slavery.

I Spy - Trivia

Picture books:

Video games:

  • Completely Different Title: Like the picture books, the games are called J'ai Trouvé ! in French. I Spy Spooky Mansion in particular is called J'ai Trouvé ! Le manoir hanté, which means "I Found! The haunted manor''.
(Note: In French, we put a space after exclamation marks, that's why I put one in the French titles but not the re-translated to English one)

Asshole Victim: When attempting to murder Lance and Zayne, Kenzi is mortally stabbed all the way through her torso by Zayne. While she's still alive, she sees the blade sticking out from her chest and feels the base on her back. This way she's finally killed, after everything she's done—like forcing Cujo to tamper with Zayla's drink to induce a Tragic Stillbirth. She's also sabotaged Cujo's mate's childbirth, which results in his daughter's death and his mate becoming infertile.

I cut out "with his brother's knife." That detail seems irrelevant to this trope.

Also, "sabotaged Cujo's mate's childbirth" is a bit vague, since it doesn't tell us what, exactly, it is that she did. It's good enough if you wanna post it as it is, though.

"It goes back to its original..."

"at the demand of Matt Roszak" sounds a bit weird. It's unclear what the context is—are there contests, or does he contact specific fans and ask for something? Also, "fan-submitted" has a hyphen in it.

"Senhor Oliveira da Figueira descibes him as being a good man, but while Emir Mohammed is on Tintin's side, he's still fine with torturing his enemies to death, thinks trials are too complicated to bother with, and is apathetic about slavery."

"...known as J'ai Trouvé !, meaning "I found!".

Anything I didn't mention here is fine the way it is.

[up] Matt Roszak, the creator of the Epic Battle Fantasy games holds contests on Deviant Art whenever he's working on a new game and he include his favorite fan-made foes. So yeah, it's basically a contest. How would you make it clearer ?

For Pump It Up YMMV:

  • Franchise Original Sin: The song length limitations (around 2 minutes) with 2 minutes and 10 seconds at the longest and less than a minute at the shortest. Many fans are disappointed that this rule from the first installment is still present in current versions, because this prevents great songs that has lengths of more that 2 minutes to be in Pump It Up. If there's any song which lengths more than 2 minutes and 10 seconds, it will be cut, unless they also include the full versions. They're also disappointed that some great original songs in Pump It Up have very short lengths.

(Note: I'm not sure what you mean by "the full version", considering you're saying that if it's too long they won't allow it. Do you mean a shortened version that is under two minutes?)

and the public won't dwell on my transmission cause it wasn't televised.

For https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/InNameOnly/WesternAnimation

  • She-Ra and the Princesses of Power: Depending on who you ask it may be the only way to describe it. From aging down characters who where originally adults, into teens, to changing their personalities, backstories, gender, goals, race, sexuality, and even altering what the famous "For the honor of Grey Skull!" refers to. It'd be easier to list what they left alone. Justified since the show-runners had limited access to the Masters of the Universe IP, and had to create a their own substitute. Which one is preferable is up to the viewer.

Iron Man: Armored Adventures qualified for similar reasons. You could say Princesses of Power went even further then that show did, since it at least kept the basics intact.

MadameButterflyKnife :Yes, the some full songs are shortened into more or less than 2 minutes. Unless if Andamiro (the company that created Pump It Up games) adds the full version of the songs.

YMMV.Super Smash Bros Ultimate:

  • Accidental Innuendo: One of Steve's victory poses ends with him holding a steak near his crotch while waving his arms slightly left and right. The angled steak, giving an ovular look, makes this even more questionable.

EDIT: Someone else added this already, because I didn't add this earlier. I was too paranoid as someone supposed to be on break.

Henry Stickmin Series

  • Adaptational Dye-Job: There are two policewoman in Prison named Sally Cue and Jen Bruhn who have red hair in the original version of the game. In the remaster, their hair color is changed to blond and brown respectively, likely to differentiate them from Ellie.

The Legend Of Zelda Cdi Games

  • Off-Model: Several characters look different on their sprites and in cutscenes to the point where you might wonder if the people who made the sprites even saw the cutscenes or vice-versa.

Sock Series

  • Off with His Head!: Ceriazibus loses two heard out of three. The right one exploded from inside after getting parasitic fluid on the tongue that made a giant plant grow where the head was. The left head is decapitated by the middle one for also getting infected by the parasitic fluid before the creatures' whole body gets infected.

Tintin: Land of Black Gold

  • Noodle Incident: There is no explanation on how Haddock arrived in Khemed to save Tintin as a Deus ex Machina since he gets interrupted whenever he tries to explain.

Chicken Run - Character (Mrs. Tweedy)

  • Deadpan Snarker: When she buys a pie machine for the chickens, her husband asks what flavor the pies are gonna be and she sarcastically says it's for apple pies, only to yell at him that the machine is for chicken pies when he takes her seriously.

Madness Combat - Character (Hank)

"are two policewomen..."

"Several characters' sprites look so different from the way the same characters look in the cut scenes. The difference is so great that you might wonder if the people who made the sprites even saw the cut scenes (or vice versa)."

Ceriazibus loses two heads out of three. The right one explodes from inside after getting parasitic fluid on the tongue, that makes a giant plant grow where the head was. The left head is decapitated by the middle one for also getting infected by the parasitic fluid, to stop the creature's whole body from getting infected.

I don't think the Tintin example counts as a Noodle Incident. It's more of a Riddle for the Ages.

"he gets ripped in two..."

"In Incident: 1000A, Tricky shoots a grenade inside his own head, which subsequently explodes."

[up] I'm not sure about the last correction. It looks like Tricky shoot a grenade inside his own head, but I meant that he shoot a grenade inside Hank's head. It's a character trope for Hank.

"In Incident: 1000A, Tricky shoots a grenade inside Hank's head, which subsequently explodes."

But that's not a character trope. Character tropes are about character traits, not about everything that ever happens to a character.

Really ? I'm pretty sure almost every character pages I read had one-action moments like these listed on character pages. I once saw a thread where people considered the idea of removing death tropes from character pages (Which is what I kinda did which is a bit hypocritical from me) but I never heard anything like these for other tropes that weren't character traits. (I'm going off-topic here so if you wanna discuss it in private go ahead)

There's no accepted standard of what belongs on character pages. Everyone agrees it's "character tropes", but what a "character trope" is is still under debate.
