It's hard for me to know what is or is not obscure. Things I loved as a child apparently don't get much replay, because when I mention them to coworkers, I often get blank stares.
For example, how many of you knew there was a Dungeons & Dragons animated series? I would have thought that obscure, but now there are action figures for it at Walmart, celebrating it being forty years old.
And there was the '80s TV show Probe.
And even in anime circles, I scarcely hear anyone talk of Re-Kan! or INVADERS of the ROKUJYOUMA!?.

Those familiar with me likely know that I like Apple & Onion a lot.
Currently Reading: N/AGoodbye Strangers is underappreciated.
Welcome to Ideal's WorldReally liked Mark Russel's work at DC so I looked up his creator owned work. Discovered Billionaire Island from a publisher (Ahoy Comics) I have never heard of. It's great look at how people with status define themselves by their income.

I like horror games like Kiki And Ana - The Child and Chi quite a lot, I don't see people talking about them often.
Oh, I believe in yesterdayDunno how obscure Wargroove is but I hardly see anyone here talking about it. Shame, too, it's a fun little strategy game with an excellent cast of characters. And of course there's my beloved Bloody Roar~
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fire Emblem: The Blazing BladeThe Brittas Empire in my opinion is a show which needs more love.
Crashbox is a niche but fun edutainment show with a grimy-looking aesthetic.
i can't believe nor even fathom that he visited his friend! the audacity!I recently discovered the career of Seattle children's entertainer Tim Noah, who made/worked on Daredreamer, Tim Noah's Back to School Special, and In Search of the Wow Wow Wibble Woggle Wazzie Woodle Woo! in the mid-80s.
He had his own Wikipedia page for a time but it was deleted for notability concerns. He's still actually doing stuff to this day, but I wonder how many other regional/local entertainers and TV specials were lost to the universe.

The Protomen enhanced my life.I dunno if Pretty Cure is obscure per se, but I rarely come across people who talk about it (with the exception of some Discord servers).
Oh, I believe in yesterdayFreaking Legend of Legaia. It might be dark as heck, but it's awesome, and the battle system is great.

Intended to embody the Beware of Vicious Dog trope plus Super-Speed. Yup.I haven't watched it in a while, but Right Now Kapow was a favorite of mine a few years ago that I don't see a lot of people talk about, possibly because of it being Screwed by the Network after its first season.
I kinda wish another network would pick it up for some more seasons - the comedy sketch style of it was really entertaining.
Cold turkey's getting stale. Tonight I'm eating crow.May be stressing the idea of "Work", but there's a lot of obscure UTAU that I have an obsession with.
Welcome to Ideal's WorldTwice Upon a Time. I love the hell out of this movie. I first saw a portion of it on TV when I was about 5 years old and the visual style of it stuck a chord with me. After this whenever I saw something made with Clip-Art Animation, I was reminded of this movie. About 20 years after seeing it, I again started thinking of it, googled whatever details I remembered, and then I found the Wikipedia article on the film and how it got Screwed by the Network. Then i found a VHS-rip of a recording made in the 1980's, complete with all manner of scanlines and artifacts. But with all the shot-on-shitteo quality issues of the recording, the movie was still really enjoyable. Then some years further, after all the talk of how it will *never* get a proper release I found out that this was actually going to happen. Now I have it on DVD.
A Month In The Country was released in 1987 and was kind of lost for a period of time. I can't say that I particularly care for the plot, but there's just something really comforting about the movie.
x6: Hey, I'm also a Precure fan! I've only watched Futari and Smile so far tho
i can't believe nor even fathom that he visited his friend! the audacity!Bernard and his Watch. Such a cute and wholesome programme!
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Hungarian Folk Tales has a TV Tropes page, but I doubt many watched it as a child... I did. Love it to bits.
The pessimist sees a dark tunnel, the optimist sees a light, the realist sees two lights and the engineer sees three idiots.Midnight Horror School. i may not understand japanese but the designs are so charming i feel like it was marketed towards me specifically
Bayonetta, you bury your loneliness deep down in your eyes [note: at all times, the steel eel pilot is a salmon] (they/them)A fun indie game beat ‘em up. Its random elements make it tough as nails and frustrating but the trade-off is a unique experience every run. It forces you to tread carefully and gradually gets harder and more demanding of your resources the closer you get to the Great North. Has an amazing sense of humour.
Rolli – Amazing Tales is one of my favorite movies, it has only 250 views on Letterboxd
HqamiliciousThe Adventures of Prince Achmed is one of the best animated films out there, and very few people know about it. This film is a Fusion Fic of various Arabian Nights legends with a unique artstyle that's stunning to look at.
I really like The Fosdyke Saga, which I found from my father's collection. The simple but expressive art style, the combination of ongoing adventure with gag-a-day punchlines, the irreverent but also knowing tone... Bill Tidy did other things but they aren't quite as good. Unfortunately they are difficult to find (I completed my father's collection through eBay) and some jokes are difficult to understand for anyone not familiar with English working-class culture.
I really must expand our article, I'm the only contributor.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.Son of the White Horse. It has the prettiest animation I've ever seen, but nobody seems to ever talk about it outside obscure animation circles.
On another note, Ultraheroes. I know Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck is cool and all, but Ultraheroes will always be my favorite Disney Duck comic.

Rölli, Latibær, and Looming Gaia. And as a kid I was obsessed with Tatu and Patu, Barbapapa, and Cocco Bill.
