This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking For An Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

Took a Shortcut and Offscreen Teleportation are the same quote. Same with Abandoned Catchphrase and Borrowed Catchphrase.

My favorite sci fi enemies are the giant sexy depressed womenHow about this one for Drive-Thru Antics:
- My wife says "maybe we should park
We could just go eat inside"
I said I'm wearin' bunny slippers
So I ain't leavin' this ride— "Weird Al" Yankovic, "Trapped in the Drive-Thru"
I'm Your Worst Nightmare could be swapped out with the Lego Movie 2 quote in the Films-Animated folder.
My favorite sci fi enemies are the giant sexy depressed womenDone.
I'm back!Oh, gee wiz. Ridiculously Human Robots and Tin Man have the same quote. Because of course they do.
I say keep it on Tin Man.
SoundCloudA few pages ago, someone brought up the page quote for Season Fluidity as being too long. As the person who added it seven years ago, I agree wholeheartedly. It doesn't help that it's full of potholes and includes a lot of information that's only half-relevant.
I'm thinking of two options here:
1. Cut it down to something that illustrates the trope more concisely:
2. Cut the quote entirely.
Pinball cleanup threadI say cut it.
My favorite sci fi enemies are the giant sexy depressed womenThe quote for Shaped Like Itself fails to illustrate the trope, since the speaker could be comparing two different marbles. I think we should swap it out for the Trope Naming Shakesperean quote in the description.
I'm back! The quote was unceremoniously changed from the Willy Wonka quote: “And when you lick a snozzberry, it tastes exactly like a snozzberry . . . .”
I went ahead and deleted it.
Pinball cleanup threadI don't see that change having been implemented. According to the troper who changed the quote, the Willy Wonka quote was taken out of context and is not actually an example. It is about an image of a snozzberry, not an actual snozzberry.

I'm back! What does the quote in Depraved Bisexual in mean for the trope in question.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."I have no idea, but I think the Jennifer's Body quote on the quotes page would work better.
I guess it's drawing a line between "depraved" and "bisexual", but... not in the way the trope does it.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Seconding moving the Jennifer's Body quote. Speaking of that page's quotes, the South Park example is Depraved Homosexual (at least during the time the episode came out, the character was strictly gay), not this.
Vegetarian Vampire shares an image source and quote source. How about using the Sailor Moon Abridged quote on the quotes page there instead?

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Found a few tropes where the image and quote source are the same: This Is My Boomstick, Bigger Than Jesus, Convicted by Public Opinion.
Also, the Sailor Moon quote works for me.

My favorite sci fi enemies are the giant sexy depressed womenIs their any issue with the quote and image sources being the same ? Just curious ?
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."It’s just generally discouraged. But for Bigger Than Jesus, we could use the Onion quote from the Web Original folder.

My favorite sci fi enemies are the giant sexy depressed womenMight be my nostalgia talking (and dangit now I got the Count Duckula theme stuck in my head) but I don't think the Sailor Moon Abridged quote quote is better than Duckula's. Duckula's implies there's a reason for it instead of just mocking it.
However, I'd suggest a modification of the lines used to these:
In the vampire hall of fang,
There's not a vampire zanier than Duckula.
He won't bite beast or man, 'cause he's a vegetarian."

Covered in Star Wars Cleanup, Deadpool, and Web Video sand. I'm not coarse and rough, but I get everywhere. And do we need another entry mocking Twilight?
Rock'n'roll never dies!13 Is Unlucky and Missing Floor both have the same quote. I personally think Missing Floor should keep the quote and 13 Is Unlucky should be changed to The Office quote on its quotes pagewhich is... , but if any of y'all have other suggestions, I'm open to them.
The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot.The quote on Unexpectedly Dark Episode......isn't good. It's a random meme that could be used for plenty of things, not exclusively this concept. I don't think it really works on this trope

I'm Your Worst Nightmare and Discredited Trope have the same quote. Which copy should be swapped out?
I'm back!
