Series you discovered through the wiki

A whole world of fanfics. It all begins with HPMOR, followed by And the Meek Shall Inherit the Galaxy, then it finally dawned to me, that fanfics is really worth to try and read and sometimes as good written as general literature.

I discovered Darths And Droids on TV Tropes.

A lot of stuff. Leverage, Human Target (although that one turned to be awful)... But I think that IO 9 got me interested in more stuff, like Almost Human, Person of Interest and Arrow.

Bad Lip Reading, and... that's it. My tastes haven't changed much otherwise — most series I see on here I either already watch, fly under my radar, or I have no interest in.

A lot of Studio Gainax stuff (Panty And Stocking With Garterbelt, Gurren Lagann, FLCL, Dead Leaves, etc), Retsupurae, The Runaway Guys, Code Lyoko, Dark Souls, Psychonauts, and Know Your Meme.

I discovered RWBY & Chrono Trigger through this wiki. I was also encouraged to watch Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared, to read more Stephen King stuff, and to give Revolutionary Girl Utena another go (which I still need to finish).

Not completely discover but rediscover. There are a lot of stuff I used to watch but I forget the name of one of those is Read or Die, I didn't know what it was called but I remember they wanted a clone of Beethoven to play his Death Symphony which caused anyone that heard it to commit suicide so I stumbled across it when I was looking up music tropes.

I didn't know what it was because it was before cable had guides. If I wanted to know what it was I would've had to switch to the TV guide network and wait for it to show the network I was watching.

Declare, Charlie Stross's works (especially The Laundry Series), The Dresden Files...basically the wiki has been responsible for getting me into the Urban Fantasy genre, especially the small, specialized, but deeply fun occult intelligence subgenre.

Also, Aphex Twin.

I think I stumbled across Miasmata while clicking the Random Media button out of boredom.

It looks like a pretty good game, though I haven't had an opportunity to play it yet.

Otherwise... I can't really think of much, at least not that I literally first learned about through the wiki and then took an interest in later. As for works I already knew about/had heard about, got to learn more about here and then decided to check out... nope, nothing comes to mind.
