I'm Halberdier17 and I have been visiting TV Tropes for a few years before I officially joined on August 29, 2013. The origin of my username started when I was signing up for Steam I thought about my favorite Fire Emblem character which is Nephanee she started out in Path of Radiance as a Halberdier Class so I used that; the 17 is just because it is my favorite number. I mainly hang around in the Comics, Movies, TV and Video Games Forums; lately I have been in the Forum Games Conversations forum.

I like Books, Comics, Movies, Music, TV Shows, and Video Games. With Music I like most genres with my favorite being Classic Rock, Hard Rock, and Classic Heavy Metal. My history with Video Games I have had two consoles every generation starting with the SEGA Genesis and SNES.

All the systems I've had are^note: Atari 2600, Nintendo Entertainment System, SEGA Genesis, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Playstation, N64, SEGA Dreamcast, Gameboy Color, Playstation 2, Gamecube, Gameboy Advance SP, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DSi, Playstation 3, Wii U, 3DS, 3DS XL, and Playstation 4.

Tropes That Describe Me

Fanboy: I'm a Fan of both Nintendo and Playstation; I'm also a fan of DC Comics. I'm not close minded Fanboy though.
Geek: Not Nerd I consider them different. Geeks specialize in one or two particular subjects; Nerds know about multiple subjects.
Genre Savvy: Thanks to TV Tropes but sometimes it could be a detriment.
I Am Not Left-Handed: I was born right handed but I'm ambidextrous the only thing I can't use my left hand for comfortably is writing or playing guitar but I probably could if I re-stringed the guitar. I usually use my left hand for everything else.
Gosh Dang It to Heck!: I don't really like to swear. When I repeat a line from a movie I either omit the swear word or spell it out.
Motor Mouth: I talk a lot if I'm comfortable with the people around me, or I'm talking about something in which I'm interested.
The Quiet One: When I'm not being a Motor Mouth.
Stealth Hi/Bye: I end up doing this sometimes. I get up and walk away when I feel like it so I don't even say bye; I just leave.
Suddenly Bilingual: I'm working on it. I've been trying to learn Swedish using an app on my phone; I'm up to 58% mastery of Swedish. I also recently started German I'm currently at 11% mastery of German.
