Kingdom Hearts III: The Army Of Light is a Fan Fic of Kingdom Hearts written by J Tom. The fanfic itself is, apparently, the Grand Finale of a series of fanfics.The fanfic can be read here.

• Adaptational Alternate Ending:
  • In the Aladdin and the King of Thieves arc, Cassim and Iago managed to watch Aladdin and Jasmine's ending... after they helped the Warriors of Light to defeat Sa'Luk's Heartless. Nice Job Fixing It, Villain
  • Cinderella III: A Twist in Time. First off, the Fairy Godmother restores the original timeline, as Aqua was still in Castle of Dreams when Lady Tremaine tried to changes fate. There also is the changes in Lady Tremaine and Drizella's fate. In the movie, they're forced to work as servants at the castle. Here, Drizella is Easily Forgiven, and Lady Tremaine was exiled after Anastasia revealed how much of an Abusive Mom Lady Tremaine is. Also, Lucifer and Pom-Pom are exiled as well. In Lucifer's case, Lady Tremaine took him with her. Pom-Pom was exiled after the castle's inhabitants learned about and got used to Cinderella's mouse friends. We don't know what happened to Lucifer and Pom-Pom in the movie. Oh, and the "servant" thing? Anastasia and Drizella became Cindy's Ladies-in-Waiting because of Cindy's kindness, not because they were forced. The Baker dating Anastasia works too at the castle.
• Adaptational Badass: Multiple characters that are outside of the main 10 Guardians of Light (Sora, Riku, Kairi, Mickey, Roxas, Xion, Axel/Lea, Ventus, Terra and Aqua) somehow get their own Keyblades:
  • Saix and Demyx got their Keyblades by virtue of having a piece of Xehanort put into them. They retain their Keyblades when they're restored as Isa and Myde, respectively.
    • Sephiroth also got a Keyblade after replacing Saix in the True Organization XIII
  • Namine got her Keyblade simply by being Kairi's Nobody.
  • Some characters accidentally initiated a Keyblade Inheritence Ceremony shortly before saving Terra.
    • Minnie is Mickey's successor.
    • Donald is Vanitas's successor.
    • Daisy is Namine's successor.
    • Goofy is Young Xehanort's successor.
    • Max is Riku Replica's successor. Keep in mind that he got it not from Riku Replica himself, but rather from Dark Riku.
    • Ortensia is Oswald's successor.
  • After the events of Avengers: Endgame, when Xehanort managed to prove himself a greater threat than Thanos, the worlds started choosing multiple Keyblade Wielders in order to stop him.
    • Hayner, Pence and Olette are the chosen Wielders of Twilight Town.
    • Aladdin and Jasmine are the chosen Wielders of Agrabah.
    • Woody and Buzz are the chosen Wielders of the Toy Box. And that's right after Woody dissed Young Xehanort.
    • Milo and Kida are the chosen Wielders of Atlantis.
    • Rapunzel and Flynn are the chosen Wielders of The Kingdom of Corona.
    • Cinderella and Kit are the chosen Wielders of the Castle of Dreams.
    • Anna, Elsa and Kristoff are the chosen Wielders of Arendelle.
    • Kuzco and Pacha are the chosen Wielders of the Kuzconian Empire.
    • Sulley and Mike are the chosen Wielders of Monstropolis.
  • Lingering Will. In the game, he was destroyed hours before Terra's rescue. Here, he is around all the way until Terra is rescued.
  • In all Kung Fu Panda story arcs, several Light-affiliated characters become kung fu masters.
    • In the first arc, Sora, Donald, Goofy and Lea (as Axel). Also Ventus, due to him being in Sora's heart.
    • In the Kung Fu Panda 2 arc, Riku, Kairi and Mickey. Also Roxas, Xion and Namine, due to the former two being in Sora's heart, and the latter in Kairi's.
    • In the Kung Fu Panda 3 arc, Terra, Aqua, Isa, Myde, Minnie, Daisy, Max, Oswald and Ortensia.
• Adaptational Expansion: The Frozen story arc, natch. It's barely visited in the actual game (though it was due to Disney being stricter about showcasing its story there), but here, it's more developed. Aqua in particular has a major role in Elsa's Character Development.
  • The first Kung Fu Panda story arc has a moment in which Sora's team (which had Po at the time, as well as Axel, save the Furious Five from the original Organization XIII.
  • Thanks to the benefit of hindsight, the The Lion King II: Simba's Pride arc has [Tiifu and Zuri making speaking appearances (for instance, they try to comfort Kiara after Simba exiles Kovu), and several scenes where the cast shows concern for Kion.
• Badass Army: In order to stop Xehanort and Maleficent's Legion of Doom, the Guardians of Light is gathering people from other worlds with strong lights. Mostly Keyblade Wielders, but Cassim and Iago chose to come with Aladdin and Jasmine to help in the Keyblade War, and there also is the Final Fantasy crew: Cloud, Tifa, Zack, Yuffie, Leon and the entirely of SOLDIER.
• The Bus Came Back: Sora returns to multiple worlds that are not visited again after Kingdom Hearts II. Such worlds here include: Agrabah. This is also the case for the Birth By Sleep trio and the Castle of Dreams. Furthermore, due to Zira and Morgana being part of Maleficent's Legion of Doom, Sora will return to Pride Lands and Atlantica.
• "The Reason You Suck" Speech: The Sultan gives one to Razoul after he accuses Aladdin of thievery one too many times.
  Sultan: That's quite enough Razoul! Yes, what Cassim did was wrong. But like Aladdin, I now see someone who just wanted to help his family, like how I want to help mine and my kingdom. And if they all say he and Iago can be redeemed, then I'm willing to see for myself.
  Razoul: But—
  Sultan: And another thing! Your way of dealing with criminals is quite frankly despicable, especially when it comes to petty crimes and executing them as well. It's very disturbing. And whenever Aladdin is in trouble, you always assume he's a criminal who only cares about himself. And that sickens me as much as it sickens my daughter. Aladdin is a good person. And you need to start clearing up your act Razoul or else it'll be your job! Now get out of my sight!
• Relationship Upgrade:
  • Ven and Xion, at the end of the Cinderella III: A Twist in Time story arc.
• Replacement Goldfish: After Terra is restored, Terranort's place was taken by a Replica of him.
• Ship Tease: Aside from the Official Couples, there's also this between: Terra and Aqua as well as Roxas and Namine.
• Spoiler Cover: The final cover of the saga, which covers the time between the most recent visit to Agrabah and the Keyblade War (Up until then, each individual arc got it's own cover), implies that the thirteenth member of the True Organization is Sora's Heartless. It also spoils the fact that Gladstone Gander, Fethry Duck and Donald's friends Panchito and Jose are members of the Army of Light, as they only debuted in the series after the cover was revealed. It also spoils Sephiroth being in the True Organization, as a Late-Arrival Spoiler.
