• The term "The Sadie Edit" has become a term adopted by fans of reality competition shows in general, referring to contestants who are Out of Focus before suddenly being given the spotlight in the same episode where they are eliminated.
• The intern with curly purple hair seen in the 2023 revival^note reused from a pizza delivery girl design in Total Dramarama, but most fans don't know that got codenamed "Coderra Intern," as since she somewhat resembles both Cody and Sierra, shippers joke that she's their child.
• Gwen, Duncan, Heather, Courtney, and Owen are called the "mascot characters" due to them receiving the most screentime.
