Joely Kim Richardson (born January 9, 1965) is an English actress.
She's best known for her role as Julia McNamara in the FX drama series Nip/Tuck, and Queen Catherine Parr in the Showtime series The Tudors. She has also appeared in films such as 101 Dalmatians (1996), Event Horizon, The Patriot (2000), Return to Me, Anonymous (2011), the Hollywood film adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011), the remake of Endless Love, and the thriller Red Sparrow. Richardson also recently starred as a supernaturally powered mutant and British government agent on the Starz series Rook.
She is part of the famous Redgrave acting dynasty: she is the daughter of Vanessa Redgrave, the younger sister of the late Natasha Richardson, the niece of Lynn Redgrave and her brother Corin Redgrave, the cousin of Jemma Redgrave, and the granddaughter of Sir Michael Redgrave. She also has one daughter with her ex husband, Daisy Bevan, who is an actress herself.
