William Gerald Paris (July 25, 1925 - March 31, 1986) was an American actor and director best known for The Caine Mutiny (1954), The Dick Van Dyke Show (1963-1966), and Happy Days (1974-1984).
He was married to Ruth Benjamin and they had three children.
Paris died in 1986 at the age of 60 from a brain tumor.
