Pax
Pax is one of the protagonists and the reaper which the story mostly focuses on. Pax is the reaper who deals with those who die because of their own mistakes. He continues to try and do his best as a reaper though he’s lost some of the zest for the job. He’s turned into a human so he can get a better idea of what it means to live and die as one.

Valdis is the Reaper of Heroes. She’s a centuries-old reaper who decides to look like a teenager thinking a more child-like appearance makes the transition for the dead easier.

Death is the embodiment of Death, as in the concept in human shape. She created all the reapers to help get the dead ready to meet her and move on. She appears as a woman in her twenties with black hair and white skin wearing a gothic dress. She has a sarcastic streak. She’s in a loving marriage with her husband Life and has two kids with him.
